RuNNinG-sCaRe_D
Platinums #158 & 161# - Twin Mirror [PS4] - The Suicide of Rachel Foster [PS4] - Trails and Traces: The Tomb of Thomas Tew [PS5] - Sumatra: Fate of Yandi [PS4] I "torture" myself with some big Open World-Games (Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and MGS V: Phantom Pain ) the last months, so i needed some shorter games in-between "Trails and Traces" is dissapointing. Short, and with a very simple story... Wasn't worth 3,49€ for me. I expected the same with "Sumatra: Fate of Yandi", but this is far better: Longer, better story and nice old-school graphics ?

Popular Post snakebit10
World War II Hero #346 I am someone who usually enjoys Battlefield games. This one was hit and miss for me. For the most part I enjoyed the MP, To this day I am not cut out for the Sniper class. I just can't sit still to long trying to pick off other players. I like the action part and get into the middle of the battles. This is the second BF game with the War Stories for the Campaign, much shorter than BF 1 campaign. I like the history of them but prefer a regular campaign with the same protagonist throughout. Like Bad Company 1 & 2. Trophy wise in is a minimal list compared to other BF games. The campaign was just beat the war stories on the different difficulties and the MP is where most the focus was. That is expected, since it is a MP focused game. Most of the trophies are not to bad to obtain through natural playing. I am glad I was able to find a group through my session to boost the Death From Above trophy and most of the points for the sniper class and the final 50,000 points for the elite trophy.
Popular Post Conor
#99- FINAL FANTASY IX [PS1/ PS4] Heroes of Gaia Collect all trophies Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time: 1 month, 3 days, 12 hours / 100 hours Rarity: 1.0% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 7.21% Very Rare (PSNProfiles) Challenge: It's All In The Cards III- Win 100 Tetra Master Matches "Through our memories, future generations will see that we can overcome any fear!" Just for the record, if some of the trophies were not in this game, this would have easily been an 8/10 for enjoyment. I've never been a massive fan of this Final Fantasy in particular. I never owned it as a kid so the only times I could even try were when I borrowed it from friends but even then I just couldn't bring myself to play. There was just something about it that was not clicking and to be honest it still doesn't. That is not to say that I think that Final Fantasy IX is a bad game; it most certainly is not. However, it is also far from my favourite in terms of story, gameplay, cast and visuals. Like most games in the series, you play as a gallery of lovable rogues traversing the land and saving the world from the Big Bad that threatens all existence as we know it. Unlike the previous two entries, you now get four characters in your party like the olden times. The cast is diverse and some of the characters are very interesting and compelling- Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, Steiner and Eiko are all fantastically written characters with great arcs. The rest are fine, nothing special, though you could take them out and the story would not fundamentally change all that much, if at all. As for the story itself, well, it's fine. I didn't find it particularly interesting nor particularly dull, although I did feel that there was a bit too much slow buildup only for the climactic scenes to be rushed through. Also, that final boss fight- like, what??? Comes out of nowhere, little explanation of what it even is or why it even comes into the story in the first place. Apparently there is an optional boss that was originally intended as the final boss and I cannot fathom why they changed it because it would have made a lot more sense. The gameplay on the other hand is a bit of a step back from previous games. Like I said, you have four party members to bring into battle, each with their own Job assignment- Zidane is the Thief, Steiner is the Warrior, Garnet the White Mage/ Summoner, Viv the Black Mage, Freya the Dragoon, Eiko the other White Mage/ Summoner and Amarant the Monk. There are many possibilities for combinations for strategy but really a party of Zidane, Steiner, Vivi and Garnet/ Eiko will easily carry the player through everything. Steiner and Viv have a unique Sword Magic mechanic that isn't replicated by any other pairing- why couldn't Eiko and Garnet have a Double Summon to bring forth more powerful Eidolons like they do in a cutscene, for example? The ability system tied to the different weapons and armour is fine but nothing too deep or special. The Trance mechanic is a worse Limit Break- you instantly do into Trance once the gauge fills and you can't save it for a boss battle or anything. The worst thing of all is how slow everything is. It takes so long for commands to execute, for the ATB bars to fill up, for battles to even start etc. Sure, this can all be mitigated by 4x Speed but it shouldn't need it. You can also turn off the battle intros and shorten the summon animations which is a good thing. Other things are ridiculously slow as well- airships are very sluggish, especially when compared to the Highwind in Final Fantasy VII, made worse by the very low framerate out on the world map. But god damn these trophies. The 1000 skips is doable with the use of a script and remote play, without which it is easily the worst of the lot, but there is also a lot of grinding involved in other trophies. Raising Boco's beak to Lv 99 in the Chocobo Forest/ Lagoon/ Sky Garden will hurt your hand. I can't imagine how it was even possible to get it done in any decent time without 4x speed, which funnily enough doesn't speed up the countdown timer. I had to do half of the frog catching quest twice as I didn't know I had to defeat Quayle to get the Ultimate Fork so I switched the game off after popping the 99 frogs trophy only to have to go from 48 to 99 all over again. Grinding out 10000 enemy kills is tedious and unnecessary and I used a turbo controller, rubber bands, auto battle and speed boost over a few nights to get it. Finding enough treasures to become and Rank S Treasure Hunter requires a guide and getting the 100 Tetra Master wins is a pain; Tetra Master is a vastly inferior card game to Final Fantasy VIII's Triple Triad and makes very little sense- every card has different attack directions, attack values, defense values as well as typing. They also change if you use them in enough battles, usually for the better, but the entire thing is extremely RNG based from actually getting decent enough cards to begin with to clashing with opponent cards- I had a 3-digit card of mine being defeated by a single-digit card for absolutely no discernable reason. I hated it, I hated that I had to win 100 times (easy to restart if it's going badly, but that just makes it take longer) and I hated that you have to play even three matches to advance the story. Finally, there is the matter of getting to the Excalibur II sword in less than 12 hours- very doable with speed boost but does require another playthrough and 5-11 hours of your time just for that. In all, a good game with a terrible platinum. But I'm glad to have it done as my 99th platinum trophy, so now the way is clear for me to get my 100th milestone platinum. The gameplay was brilliant, doing levels with different approaches, different kills. The story was very good as well. From H3 my favorite level was Berlin and i also enjoyed very much the teaming up with Diana at Mendoza. Best challenge from Berlin, There was a Fire Fight : #248 Sly 2 Band of Thieves (vita) Unlikely Bandit Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Very mediocre sequel and a bad port. But i've played the first one on vita, i have to do the rest #249 Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight Dancing in Moonlight Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I became a Persona fan after playing P5 (my first experience with the series). I loved the OSTs so i couldn't away from trying the dancing games, even if i suck at rhythm games. Hopefully the plat is easy because of the supports. Needless to say that i want a remake of P3, the characters were very interesting

Have been playing Smite for 2.5 years and I've never had a game that meant so much to me. I made so many friends in this game. Not only by hunting trophies with them but just enjoying the matches, levelling up together and just having a splendid time! I currently have a total playtime of 500 hours and I'm proud of every minute I spend in this game. Now that I have the platinum it's time to say goodbye to Smite! My rarest platinum trophy yet and I couldn't be more proud of all the good times I've had in this game!! Popular Post MissShake
#62: Mass Effect 2 N7 Elite ME2: Acquire all trophies The more things change, the more they stay the same. Mass Effect 2 is still a gem all these years later, I still get chills when I start the Suicide Mission up, and I still am not satisfied until I know I have saved everyone. In fact, I was having so much fun with this game that when I realized I was going to lose half of my non-party crew mates I went back to an older save and played half the game all over again. I wasn't bothered by this, though. Mass Effect 2 is often regarded as the best in the trilogy for a reason. The cast is wonderful, the locations are fun to explore, the choices you have to make are thought provoking. The Legendary Edition is worth it even just for ME2, it's just that good. And besides, I decided to skip romancing someone in the new save I went back to, so now I can see how things change in ME3 if I decide to play it again with the same character. Popular Post Dauersack
Subnautica The second water themed game I played in a row. I made it a point to not buy this game, because the guy in charge is a massive scumbag who landed on my boycott list years ago, but the game was free during the Stay At Home thing so I thought why not, might as well give it a shot. I went in blind, not really having any information aside from "20-30 minutes into the game a scripted event will kickstart it" so I knew that the first 30 minutes are basically a tutorial, even if almost nothing was explained. During the first 1 hour+ said event did not fire, but I had a nice bluescreen, while also finding several other bugs like the flying creatures freezing mid air or fish getting stuck and having seizures. Bugs that obvious appearing so early are a massive red flag for me, the necessary scripted event was not happening almost 5 ingame days in, and I had no clue what to do at this point so I did some research. Turns out the game can be a buggy mess on console, crashes are not uncommon, several people shared experiences of wasting several hours until the first scripted event happened and other fun stuff. Normally this would be my cue to abandon the game, but I already unlocked a bronze, so sadly I was comitted.Thankfully I also discovered that the game can be shortened a lot via the cheats that are available ingame, as they do not stop trophies from popping if they are deactivated after using them. Since I have already played enough buggy shitfests to last me a lifetime, I decided to take the quick route on this, especially since this game has a very low difficulty rating anyway and is just annoying and tedious to complete instead of challenging. No idea if I could have squeezed some fun out of this mess, but if my first hour is looking like this you better believe that I have no second thoughts about using every tool the game has, and given that I had a total of 3 bluescreens in about 3 hours of playtime, I am certain that I dodged a big bullet here.
Popular Post Biscoito18
#99 - Call of Cthulhu Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 H.P. Lovecraft seems doomed to having only mediocre adaptations based on his work. Without going into the technical merits, which are basic to an indie game, the plot's a mess, the characters are uninteresting, and the investigative gameplay is super driven to the point of being irritating. Also, the upgrade system is very flawed and from the first chapters it can block the player from getting several trophies. Most Disappointing Trophy: - The Call of Cthulhu I would've loved it if the story's climax lasted more than a few seconds of weak CGI. Popular Post TheAbyssWalker61
The Hero of Heroes This was my first Ratchet & Clank Game because i wasn't interested in the saga but i decide to try this and OMG it's so much fun and i love the characters, the link between Ratchet and clank it's cute and funny, i really like it . For me the "Death by disco" trophy wasn't so bad like all people said, it's just patience, in challenge mode i got the trophy making the Constructobot dancing in Aradia and i got it, very easy for me, the races were fun but the Rilgar one was the worst i spend 2 hours in that stupid 1:35 time, but i got it at 1:34 , the other were very easy and with leveling weapons the Glove of DOOM was the worst very slow and just 10 ammo but it's ok its fun everything, Rift apart it's a 100% secured purchase when i can get the PS5. Long Live Insomniac Games!!
Popular Post Jake-TheGreat97
#96 Resident Evil Village Definitely one of my favorite Resident Evil games, especially when it comes to speed running. Overall the platinum is challenging but not too difficult. The biggest hurdle for me was getting an S rank on all of the mercenaries levels. In fact I nearly quit going for the platinum when I realized that there were harder versions of each level that you also had to S rank. However, I eventually was able to get an S rank on every level and was definitely rewarding.
Popular Post Phlegeth
#46 N7 Elite ME1: Acquire all trophies I love Mass Effect. But even the first time I played it, 2 was already out so I just kind of blitzed through it. This time I set down and played it right. Explored the planets, talked to everything. It was great. Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #143 - Concrete Genie 49.63% Rarity Difficulty - 3/10, Time Spent - ~10 Hours , Enjoyment 8/10 Concrete Genie has you playing as a boy named Ash who is nostalgic for a part of town that has undergone degredation due to an oil liner having a spill in the area. After getting bullied by some kids, he finds solace with a magical hand-drawn genie named Luna who gives him the power to weild a paintbrush that adds graffiti all over town. It is his mission to somehow restore the town by grafitti-ing it with the help of his genie friends. This game is a platformer with some very small puzzle elements to it. You have to figure out how to summon the right type of genie in particular areas to do things like restore fuse boxes or blow over a crate that's in your way. Most of it is just using your paintbrush to paint scenes on the walls all around you in order to light up the city. It sounds very simple, but it's actually quite fun and relaxing. Toward the later part of the game, you also do battle against some dark genies, which is rather easy (but I died once). I would have probably given this game a perfect 10/10 if it weren't for some of the collectibles being annoying. You really do have to search every nook and cranny to get all of them, and most guides out there aren't very helpful because there are very few "landmarks" to distinguish one spot from another, so even visual guides aren't much help. But I guess they're manageable since it didn't take me too long to get them all. The other thing that makes me take off a point is the VR experience. This was my first time playing anything VR, and it had the effect on me that I was expecting: motion sickness. Even though you're barely moving in the VR section, I still felt nauseated. It was very well-done and I can see most people having an enjoyable experience, but I just couldn't stomach it. Fortunately it was only about 30 minutes to get through the segment and mop up the trophies. Guess VR isn't for me!
Popular Post slender_adrian
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty - #68 Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Rarity: 4.96% Ultra Rare Time: 76 Hours "Kept you waiting, huh?" GAME THOUGHTS What can I say about this game, I'm a big fan of the MGS games, I remember playing Metal Gear Solid 2 as kid, of course I didn't know what the hell I was doing, or what was going on, so for those good times I decided to revisit again this game and I was so amaze by it, it's surprising how a game like this came out many years ago. I found everything from this game perfect (except the controls of course). I love how they take everything seriously and at the same time how they make the game look ridiculous, it's just brilliant. The story is amazing, personally, that twist near the end is mind blowing (still don't know what is going on). I found the bosses amazing except for Fatman I truly hate him, he is the cheapest of all, my favorite boss fights was MG Ray and Vamp. My favorite chapter was Snake's one, Tanker, I really love that whole area. When you beat the game you have many things left to do, this includes the Snake Tales, which I truly love, my favorite was Dead Man Whispers, I really like the format of reading, the most strange one was External Gazer, It's so bizarre and it truly make me feel uncomfortable playing it, especially the part when Raiden apears with that weird music and by the end I ended with a headache of reading a lot of nonsense of parallel universes. Truly loved this game, it is a truly masterpiece. THE TROPHY HUNT This is by far one of the most annoying, frustrating and boring games I've platinum, getting the platinum for this game is no joke, it doesn't ends, you need to finish the game at least 5 times collecting over 200+ dog tags, ok I'll do it no problem, I did 7 playthroughs because I mess it up but I didn't care, I liked a lot playing the story, defeating the bosses on extreme is going to be your training for what's coming up, personally this game has his difficult areas but when going for the VR missions and the last Snake Tale, this games gets so damn hard. You most complete 400+ missions, I'll say like 80% of them are easy to get but there are some that truly requires skill and patience (having those controls doesn't help), especially the last ones. The hardest trophy to get by far was Virtually Impossible, took me almost 28 hours to get done with all missions. Personally Metal Gear Solid 4 platinum is a joke compared to this one.
