Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 223! Atelier Sophie ~The Alchemist and the Mysterious Book~ DX Alchemist of the Mysterious Book Back to the Atelier games! And this one was the first that introduced me to the series! Compared to the original version, the DX one has a couple of different things: the speed-up battles (like most of the DX versions, up to 2x) and all the DLCs (and most of them are costumes... ). There's no time management, so I took my time and I crafted weapons, armors and accessories with wonderful traits (well-made which increases all stats +25, the trait for the +40 attack, +40 defense or +40 speed; the "dragon soul" or "develops the body"). In this way I could play the main story on despair difficulty, obtain a lot of money and exp points (which you can use, once you hit the Lv 20, to level up the skills, learn passive skills and increase the stats). Then, I defeated the two dragons on the same difficulty and I went back to normal for the annoying Lightning element and the Demon King (super annoying boss ). But it's not over: in the DX version there's an extra dungeon (in the Library of all Creation) where you can find ingredients with better traits (the "soul traits", something similar to the Machina of Domain in Meruru Plus) and another annoying boss; behind him there's a chest with the final recipe. And finally the platinum! So, this game is a bit more difficult (compared to the previous version). What else? I really like the Alchemy system of this trilogy, with the puzzle grid whre you rotate all the different ingredients like a tetris game. And once I fully upgraded the Fairy cauldron, I always used it, since I tried to use ingredients with the same color. Finally, the platinum screenshot in the Atelier with Sophie and the Christmas Plachta. Yes, I still don't know how to revert the process back to the original character!

Popular Post Captain_Bone_666
Platinum #65: Horizon Zero Dawn All trophies obtained Obtained all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies. Another enjoyable game! I didn't care enough to get the Platinums for Battlefield V, Subnautica or FF VII and started into this one without knowing much about it. It is fairly easy, offers a lot of content, not too grindy, it is lacking annoying multiplayer trophies and all trophies popped flawlessly, so trophywise all good. I played the PS+ release which included the DLCs. And even though I did not plan it, I went for the 100% and completed it today. It took me around 75 hours to get the 100%.
Popular Post crowizard
Platinum #87 VANQUISH (PS3) Difficulty 8.5/10 Excellent game, i am really amazed how I havent played it earlier. Fast paced and brilliant TPS. Platinum was hard because of tactical challenges especially #4 and #6. They were a real test of patience, fast shooting, and reflexes. Platinum #88 Street Fighter 4 Difficulty 10/10 Hardest and proudest plat i ve ever done. Even harder than SMB and wolfenstein for me. It took me 249 hours and 2+ months of just playing this game to get it without using exploits and using only DS3. Havent had any prior experience in SF series. Trials are the reason why this game is easily 10/10. After having platinumed Wofl2, Vanquish and SF IV it is time to play some a lot easier games ??.
Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
"Ohhhhhhh............*sniff*.............ohhhhhhhhhh............." - Malady Divinity: Original Sin II Deity Rarity: 2.49% M'lady Malady: This is one of my favorite games ever, what else can I say. The story, the lore, the characters, the visuals, everything is top notch, the game almost achieves perfection to the point I can't really think of anything bad to say about it. Maybe how unfair it gets a couple times? But even that just means tiny nitpicks. Difficulty wise, this is a hardcore, full blown dark fantasy RPG, the game itself is hard, its trophy list isn't. Just like (wait for it!) Dark (oh yeah) Souls (OMG IS DIVUHNITY 2 THE DAAK SOLS OF TACTICL RPGEES??!?1), so once you get the hang of it, no trophy will pose any troule, not even Honour mode, which, btw, can be cheesed with cloud saves. The very confusing quest layout and labyrinthic nature of the first game has also been addressed, getting lost is no longer a huge issue. The RNG and many of the one hit kill moments from the original have been reduced as well, resulting in a somewhat easier but much more enjoyable experience. The reduced difficulty isn't because they are "trying to appeal to casuals" or whatever, it is because the wrinkles from the first game have been ironed out. Despite all my praising, however, this is a hard game to recommend, this franchise is not very welcoming to new players and will often overwhelm, confuse and frustrate newcomers. Unlike Dark Souls (again?!) doubts which can be solved by a quick Google search, certain mechanics and choices from this game will remain confusing even after watching several long videos. I say, I recommend it, just be aware it is not going to hold your hand like the usual AAA RPG. Divinity: Original Sin 2 has ruined many other games for me, at one point I was eager to try Pillars of Eternity or Torment, now I just don't care, lol. Just like certain other franchise *cough* Soulsborne *cough* has ruined many other games for me. Looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3, tho, since it's being made by Larian Studios as well. On an unrelated note, this is my 250th platinum as well as my 40th ultra rare platinum. Game Rating: 10/10 Platinum Difficulty: 6-7/10 Time to platinum: 80 - 90 hours As I already showcased, this ugly thing is the platinum image: When they have this beauty in the list: What a blunder. The plat is called "Deity" too, who the fuck is in charge of the trophy list? Hey did you know you can find a bonfire in the sewers?? And you can take the coiled sword from it?? Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the Dark Souls of tactical RPGs confirmed. Edited June 12, 2021 by BlitzkriegHottie

Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #83 - Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Difficulty Rating 4/10 Enjoyment Rating 8/10 Rare - 10.12% Sometime last year, I purchased Dead or Alive 6 for about $8. Which told me already that there was something wrong with it ? That iteration has put the franchise is a tough spot. It decided to chase the eSports scene instead of catering more to its long running fanbase, therefore I can’t really recommend it. However, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is a completely different story. I played it many years ago, but going back to it for a platinum run.. I find that this one is much more true to the franchise as far as fanservice is concerned But it’s not just that. DOA5LR has a lot more content going for it all around compared to DOA6. More characters, more costumes, more stages.. that sort of thing. Even the graphics still hold up very nicely as all Team Ninja games usually do. It even caters to the SEGA Saturn fanboy side of me with its inclusion of Virtua Fighter guest characters! Akira, Sarah, Pai and Jacky all join the rumble with Kasumi, Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane and many more. There isn’t too much to address on here, it’s a very straight forward fighting game with many easy tasks.. but a small handful could prove to be difficult for the average player. I believe anyone can approach most of what this game throws at you with a guide, but there are two things I would consider platinum killers for many. Tutorial and combo challenge. Tutorial isn’t hard, but can be difficult to comprehend and keep up with. Most of this comes from how long winded and boring it is to complete. I found myself taking breaks in between every 15 lessons or so. Combo challenge is much more forgiving in Last Round because you only have to complete all of one character’s combos. It’s not like DOA5 Vanilla where you had to do everyone’s combos. Hard to say which singular character has the easiest combos, but I went with Leon for this task. I can’t say he is the easiest, but his combos are so slow that it allowed me to take my time in between button inputs. Took me less than an hour to do all of his combos, so maybe he wouldn’t be a bad choice for beginners. Pretty easy platinum for a fighting game, but I think the real juicy bit here is that this may be the last good DOA game for a really long time. Don’t go with DOA6, go with DOA5LR for content and lewdness which the franchise is most known for, before the dark times, before the eSports saturation really started to take over. If I had to choose a best girl for me, it would most likely be Honoka. Girl be thiccer than a bowl of oatmeal Anyway, if you don’t have any old Xbox consoles hanging about, DOA5LR is about the best DOA experience you’re going to get in the series on a PlayStation platform ?

Popular Post Conor
#101- ASTRO'S PLAYROOM [PS5] You've Only Done Everything Found all trophies in ASTRO's PLAYROOM. See you in our next adventure! Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 6 hours, 28 minutes, 43 seconds Rarity: 7.6% Very Rare (PSN) / 61.54% Common (PSNProfiles) Challenge: A Grand Tour!- Got all puzzle pieces in the game. Way to go! My first platinum on PlayStation 5, like for a lot of people I'm sure, and I just cannot believe that this game is free for every PS5 purchase. Sure, it isn't as complex as a AAA game by any means, but this is on par with many full retail releases. A pure love letter to PlayStation's history, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip down memory lane (though of course a lot of it is very recent memory for me, having spent all of generation seven gaming on Xbox 360 and a good portion of generation eight on Xbox One). I loved the references to the many games that have appeared on PlayStation through the years including games that aren't even first-party; I saw Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and even Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (I think). I haven't played the previous Astro game because I don't have PSVR yet, but I'll be sure to look out for it. It is a game that I totally recommend, both as a fun little distraction as well as a quick and easy platinum. I found the monkey climbing a little annoying sometimes but that's literally my only gripe with such a wonderful free product (though, technically you can say it cost me the 500 Euros I paid for the PlayStation 5). Every PS fan needs to experience this and anyone who buys a PS5 would do well to play it immediately. Just wonderful.

Popular Post JoaLoft
#260 - Wreckfest (PS5) Time for some mayhem and destruction, just the game I was looking for! ... Who am I kidding, I just want to finish some games in my PS5 collection so I can use that SSD storage sparingly. It isn't particularly big after all, so I reckoned maybe I should shake things up a bit with a racing game. Wreckfest fits the bill of destructive racing very well, with events catering to demolitionists alike, if your job application at the local bomb squad was respectfully declined. Cars will crash and parts will fly in this spiritual successor of sorts to the FlatOut games. Most of my time was spent in the career mode, but the trophy list invites players to compete with human players as well. The more I played it, the less I got invested, however. The destruction derbies were the most fun, along with small racing tracks featuring perilous intersections where cars can cross one another at high speed and send each other flying, with disastrous consequences. The regular races - which still feature the same damage models - just weren't as entertaining. Eighty percent into the career mode, I skimmed the trophy list to check how much I was missing because I had lost interest by then. Maybe because some racing tracks tend to pop up more than others, maybe because the novelty wore off after the first ten hours. One big plus, is how the adaptive triggers function in the PS5 version of Wreckfest. The more damage your car sustains, the more resistant the triggers will get to accelerate or reverse. A neat touch which does make the damage transcend the virtual space, straight to your fingers. I had fun for the most part, but I do think this one is ready for a one-way trip to the proverbial scrap heap. A good game which functioned as a nice appetizer in between bigger dishes, but one I'm glad I was able to wash down with a nice shiny platinum trophy. Most frustrating trophy - Showing Some Dedication There are a few bullshit trophies to deal with in Wreckfest, such as driving one full hour with the lawnmower vehicle (really?) or getting wrecked 100 times in total (something you'll always actively avoid, of course!). The one that annoyed me the most, was reaching level 50. Once you finish the career mode, you'll be about ten levels away from hitting that milestone if you've been racing on easy mode. So for the remainder of my time, I had to set up a custom race against the same lawnmowers with a bigger car, and crash as much into them as I could on the highest difficulty to give that XP a big boost. Kind of irritating, nothing too intense, but it just felt like such a waste of time. All relative though, because the platinum trophy can be acquired in several days from start to finish. Time to move on to something a bit more substantive.

TheAbyssWalker61
Platinum Trophy #28 Subnautica. ??? Yes i did this platinum like 99% of people in creative mode but it was still fun in that way, it's a good game that really makes you feel afraid of sea, i didn't even know i had "Thalassophobia" until i played this game, it really makes you feel afraid and it has a lot of jumpscares, the combat it's not good and i got 2 crashes because it's a technical disaster but it's really good going to the sea and travel with your seamoth and trying to beat your fear of the sea, the story very simple but cute and epic ending. Maybe i'm going to play Below Zero but later because i'm still learning the survival mode lol. Edited June 12, 2021 by TheAbyssWalker61
Popular Post Major_Kiba
#200 - Nier: Automata Took me awhile to get this plat started playing but ended up putting it down before finishing it. I ended up deciding to make this my 200th platinum. I really enjoyed the game but I feel like I liked the story moments from the first Nier more. That being said as an overall narrative I think Automata is better than the original Nier. As for gameplay it was fine for what it was but I kinda expected more from Platinum Games. Music is still a 10/10 and I loved ever second of it.
Popular Post TheArcadeKid
#215 - Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse It was nice revisiting this game, which I originally played on Vita over six years ago. Not quite as nostalgic as I would've liked, but then it never is, is it? Still, it remains a great game, and it's even better on PS4 given the (albeit very easy) platinum trophy. I can't say I'm a massive fan of point-and-clicks, but this game definitely has some satisfying and (mostly) logical puzzles. The real appeal of it though, for me, is the art style. It's stuck with me for years, and I don't think I've ever seen another 2D game quite like it. All the beauty of Uncharted except, you know, 2D. The voice overs are very strong too (in their own offbeat way), and there's some hilarious dialogue, especially in Part 1. I played through about 40% of the game before switching to a walkthrough, as I didn't want to risk missing a trophy and having to do a second (technically third) playthrough. I honestly don't remember how I played the game on Vita, but I'm just going to tell myself I did it completely legit the first time around.
Dr_Mayus
#327-Chaotic: Shadow Warriors I bought this out of a bargain bin so I could boost the online with a buddy of mine. Once that horrible online was done I tried to do the single player but this game had so many collectibles and I accidentally went too far into the level and locked myself out of the majority of the trophies. I always meant to come back...but never did. Thanks toe the Summer Backlog Challenge this game, after 6 years, is finally finished. This is not a good game...not at all. It is ugly, boring, handles poorly, worse camera than Mario 64 and has absolutely nothing that can be said positive about it. It is just loaded with bad game ideas. Things like regenerating bugs that don't hurt you but if they hit you enough you start about 20 seconds back, platforming in a game where your character has only heard of the concept of jumping, 1000 collectibles with a radar system that works when it wants to (for example I had found all the collectibles in a level but the radar sill told me there was one near by) and a battle system that had you using the six-axis controller because Sony loves to put shitty gimmicks into the controllers that only the early games actually used. This game is an Ultra Rare platinum only because of the online and it is such a mess I don't recommend to anyone.

There's not a single thing I can think of that wasn't fun. Well probably the total time to get the platinum. Really sucks the story ended but for trophy hunters it's just way too easy. No grinding or any difficulty involved. The graphics where just wow! This game really shows the power of PS5. Now I'm probably never going to play PC anymore as console really is getting closer and closer. The Story is also just really engaging. It's not boring and it's not just something you want to skip through. I was actually wondering what would happen next in this adventure. Overall the price is a lot for a game this short to platinum but it's just amazing quality over quantity. I also didn't encounter a single bug or glitch in my playthrough.

While Gal*Gun 2 wasn't that great and meant for VR, Gal*Gun DP has good OST, funny dialogues, and likeable characters. In a nutshell, this is Time Crisis + Anime school girls = this. iamrb2212
Platinum #87: Beyond Two Souls (PS4 stack) Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 7/10 Approx time to plat: About 30 hours tbh. After finishing the platinum of Dead Space on PS3, I wanted a chill game on PS4 and turned to this since I had done it before. Another excuse was so I could sell this Quantic Dream collection disc for a new game. To be honest, the remix order was much better than original order. The grind didn't feel as bad as on PS3 because Homeless and Navajo are one after the other and instead of chapter 10-24+ epilogue you only have to repeat chapters 16-24 plus black sun a few times of course due to endings. Still took a while because I stupidly made a few blunders and had to replay a couple chapters again lol. But the game is great so I didn't mind doing the stack, haha
