Popular Post Undead Wolf
#366 - The Complex Platinum Trophy Acquire all trophies Another one of those FMV games from Wales Interactive. This one is about a bio-weapon attack and mostly takes place in a laboratory underground as the scientists try to figure out what's going on. Can't really go into much more detail than that without spoiling things, but I will say that I quite enjoyed watching how it all unraveled. It's well acted and the main character is an attractive woman, so that's a plus. ? A full playthrough takes around 80 minutes or so, but there are a bunch of different endings and scenes depending on your choices, so it doesn't end there. Thankfully this game lets you skip scenes you've already watched on future playthroughs, so that makes it far less tedious to get the platinum than some other FMV games I've played. If you're into FMV games, you can't go wrong with this one.

Popular Post Eqill5
Ghost of Tsushima - Platinum #47 The game I didn’t know I needed. I wasn’t even aware of this until after it had released and it had already gathered a huge player base along with mass praise. I was very glad to get around to starting it and have since not played anything else. I truly loved almost everything about it. The combat is fluent, the story was great, the environment was beautiful (especially the frozen north, damn I really love pure white snow against a cold blue sky!), the music was perfect and the message was so well delivered. Everything goes hand in hand. My only gripe was the boring and repetitive NPC’s you come across in towns/save along the road or do small side quests for, though it’s easy to overlook this considering the rest of the game. I’m excited for the expansion coming soon, and to dive into Legends mode with some friends! Keep up the good work everybody!

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#548 - Assassin's Creed Odyssey Had a lot of fun with this one. Has the odd bug and weird clipping, as was to be expected. Looks great though and plays great and the cult system was neat. THe amount of re-used faces was not so cool though and the overall story was not that great. Still a good game though, but I think Origins is slightly better still. Popular Post Trini
#145 - Legendary Edition: Mass Effect 2 Such an incredible experience and vast improvement over ME1, this sequel hit mostly all the right notes for me that just left me wanting more. Despite some clunky gameplay here and there, I truly enjoyed this sequel and can see why it was regarded as one of the best games of its time. Now moving unto ME3 and see what awaits me there.
Popular Post Conor
#104- DISHONORED [PS3] Platinum Blades and Dark Corners You have mastered the city of Dunwall and unlocked all Trophies Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 3 weeks, 5 days, 19 hours / 20 hours Rarity: 1.2% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 6.43% Very Rare (PSNProfiles) Challenge: Shadow- You completed all missions after the prologue without alerting anyone "Rivers change course over many lifetimes, and eventually all bridges tumble down" Dishonored is one of the best games of the 7th generation and it was great to get reacquainted with it. You play as Corvo Attano, Royal Protector to Empress Jessamine Kaldwin and her young daughter Emily, ruling a city infested with a rat plague that is killing people by the hundreds and ruining trade, commerce and morale. Just as he returns from a failed attempt to seek aid, Jessamine is killed by a mysterious assassin, Emily is kidnapped and Corvo framed for the murder as part of a conspiracy. Luckily, Corvo is saved from the executioner by a group of loyalist rebels who seek to bring down the usurpers and install Emily as the new Empress of the Isles. Corvo is a skilled fighter and assassin and his task is to bring down everyone who had a part to play in the Empress' assassination. Aided by a mysterious supernatural figure known only as the Outsider, Corvo can wield a variety of powers to help him sneak around stealthily or cause as much carnage as possible. Both playstyles are valid and have different effects on the city and ending of the game. Low Chaos, which involves as little killing as possible, sees the city recovering better from the rat plague and gets you the good ending, whereas High Chaos- lots of murderous happy fun time- sees the city plunged deeper into turmoil and a darker ending which is further determined by whether or not you are able to rescue a certain character at the very end. Both playstyles are fun with interesting outcomes and alternative means of eliminating your targets; your first mark can be outright slaughtered by any means you so choose or he can be branded a heretic and end up a plague victim later down the line. Another mission sees you taking down a financier of the usurpers, one of three wealthy sisters though you can have her shipped off with an "admirer" which actually feels a little poorly-aged in a post-#MeToo world and Arkane admitted that they missed the mark a bit here. That said, the fact that there is an option to bring down the conspirators without even killing them shows great game design. Dunwall is a very interesting world with a steampunk-like aesthetic. The levels are impressive too, with great verticality to aid stealthy playthroughs and many means at your disposal to get through undetected, though you can of course murder anyone who gets in your way. The direct approach is more dangerous particularly on higher difficulties as Corvo is a bit of a glass cannon, so some amount of stealth is advisable. Corvo himself is a silent protagonist in this game, but there are some great voice performances here from notable actors such as Susan Sarandon as Granny Rags, Michael Madsen as the assassin Daud (underused in the base game but appears in DLC), Chloe Grace Moretz as Princess Emily Kaldwin and even the late Carrie Fisher shows up if you kill the propaganda officer in the sixth mission. Overall, Dishonored is a fantastic title from Arkane Studios. I fear that with the acquisition of Zenimax by Microsoft, the Dishonored series may be gone forever in favour of more generic titles, but there are still two more games in this series as well as a PS4 remaster ahead of me. No need to level all guns or use a certain weapon on all enemies, also no need to collect all Bolts etc. Made for a rather booring platinum journey but the game itself was great and i had a blast playing through it. The good part about the trophies was that you could 100% focus on having fun since there was no missable trophies. Highly recommend this game, especially if you liked the first one on PS4. #380 A Plague Tale: Innocence Innocence 18,98% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 10 Hours I played the first one on PS4 just a few days after its release and i loved it. One of the best Indie games i have ever played. Very unique gameplay mechanics and a pretty solid story overall. I can't wait for Plague Tale: Requiem which gets released sometime next year. No excuse not to pick this up now when it's "free" on PS+ guys. Demon's Souls is up next! Edited July 11, 2021 by Quink666

HIGHLY recommend using assist mode if playing solo (couch co-op only) because this game was not designed for friendless players lol. Took me 14 hours with a little grind at the end. Popular Post Sardavanua
#189 - Oxenfree Leave Possible? Oxenfree has been in my backlog for years by now, but somehow I never found some time to actually try it out, even though I've heard many good things about the game. Turns out everything I've heard about it, was true indeed and it was such a joy to play through the game. The story is a really interesting take on timeloops mixed with some creepy ghost elements and what made it so enjoyable (at least for me) was the main characters. Quirky teenagers trapped on an haunted island is just an intersing set-up for a story driven game if you would ask me. Also on my first playthrough I got some serious Stranger Things vibes and that is always good. The gameplay itself was rather monotonous, you just walk from point A to B and so on and so on. But for most of the time you have interactive dialogue options you can choose from when walking around with your companion(s). A sprint button would have been a nice addition still and ugh... those climbing sections gave me CONNIPTIONS. Music on the other hand was spot-on, some tracks even made it into my videogame OST playlist. Visuals were pretty interesting I'd say. Some did look god, some definetly didn't. All in all a very good story based game, would definitely recommend it. The trophies for the game look way more difficult than they actually are, all can be done in three playthroughs. Gotta say the mean playthrough was horrible to watch though. Difficulty: 2/10 Time spent: ~14h Enjoyment: 8/10
Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 226! Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX Great Protector of Radaxian. This was the very first videogame that I've ever played when I was a child, which was pre-installed on the glorious Sega Master System II. I spent so many afternoons when I came back from school, trying to clear this game. It was the 1996, and I had no internet, guides, etc. Simply a lot of "trial and error" . This remake is quite faithful to the original version. but there are a couple of things that I didn't like (simply because they weren't 100% faithful): - the bosses battles are completely different, especially when you encounter for the second time the three commanders (and I struggled against the first one, the Hand guy); - the inventory is absent. There's just a square in the upper right corner where you can switch between the items that you have, but there isn't a real "inventory" with the map (except the pause menu where you can see the colelctibles and the stone tablet); - the telepathy ball. Why do I have to lose it when I die?! - now there are collectibles (NPC and random items which should be easter eggs); - when you run out of lives, you restart from the current level (and not from the beginning, thank God!) - there are new levels added between the original ones; - you can switch between the remake and the "almost-faithful" original version using a single button (like the Asterix & Obelix Romastered game). Yes, "almost-faithful", because, when you clear the game, you unlock the "classic mode", which is the original game!! Surely this remake was made with love, and it was a nice dive in a very far away past... ? Platinum screenshot in retro pixel mode! I remember that this room in Janken Castle was a real nightmare. So many playthrough ended here bacause I kept dying in those stupid four spikes at the beginning. Until I found the solution, simply by accident: the upper spikes can't kill you! I felt so stupid when I learned it...
Popular Post arcanehornet_
Platinum #352: A Way Out What an amazing co-op game, wow! First of all I want to give a massive shoutout to my friend Kevin for playing the game with me. We played this in local co-op and had lots of fun while having a few drinks. This is probably the best coop game i've played, you really need to work together with your partner to solve problems in the game. Also, the game has a way more emotional story than I was expecting, definitely don't underestimate it. Can't recommend the game enough, honestly. It was positively amazing ? Popular Post AgentSmiz
Platinum 125: Days Gone In the "big open world game that has your main source of transportation constantly needing refuelling" genre, I much prefer this over Red Dead 2. By no means a perfect game but it's still very good. Not often that a game can give me a genuine sense of dread but underestimating the size of a horde can do just that. The way that the trophy screenshots are done for the story milestones is something I wish a lot of other games would do as well. All the story ones unlock after cutscenes and the screenshot is an image from that cutscene that the devs timestamped for selection. Beats the blurry/loading screen shots of other games. Sequel looks unlikely at this point but it would be interesting to see where the story/world goes next.

Once again, disappointed in past me. The time trials weren't that bad. High Time was the hardest for me. But that might've just been the cobwebs. After that it took like five tries max to get gold. Not counting Hot Coco and Rings of Power. Scooty Puff Jr was like magnetized to the Nitro Boxes and bombs.
Popular Post ArmoredSnowman
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Plat #73 I actually really liked Rivet, but hated her homeworld. I died so many times due to the acid, but it was neat going out of bounds on that planet. That said, the hover boots + Dash ability = so much fun to travel around. It made me really want more parkour settings just for fun. Kit was good too. Glitch's challenges were meh, but holy fuck, I FUCKING HATE ZURKON JR! He is so fucking annoying, especially when he's showing you what a new weapon can do. "Little Zurkon this, little Zurkon that", it's mindnumbing listening to that. The worlds were all fun to get through, and the backtracking wasn't too bad, although it was a bit of a pain finding the Lorbs, and I had to use a guide for the teddybears. Getting all the gold bolts, uniforms, and spybots was a nice ride. I enjoyed this game more than the 2016 one (especially, because no missables!) The only issue I had was getting the last needed trophy for void repulser or w/e it's called. Leveling up guns take FOREVER, but I'm glad that's over with. With a new Ratchet and the previous Crash...I sincerely hope we'll see a new Spyro game! I'm sure some people are wanting a new Sly Cooper as well. But this effectively proves platformers aren't dead (why would they be?), and everybody should give this game a go, if they get manage to get a PS5.
