Popular Post Onetime
Platinum #125 - HADES Enjoyment - 9/10 Difficulty - 5/10 Platinum Time - 42 Hours The praise for this game is not overhyped. If you are a fan of roguelikes and the Olympian gods this is going to be one of your favorite games for sure. I'm sure that I do not need to tell you how good this game is but the well written characters, fantastic soundtrack and fast paced gameplay makes this such a fun game you can easily sink hours into on a single session. The gameplay is the shining star here. As with most roguelikes it has a super satisfying gameplay loop of progressing further and further each try. And there is nothing quite as satisfying as finally completing your first run in a rogue like. It's such a neat idea of using different Olympian gods and their powers as "Boons" for you to use on your runs. The boons are especially awesome as they come in different tiers of rarity, starting from common all the way up to heroic and even giving unique legendary and synergistic duo boons where you will receive powers of two Olympians mixed together. Each weapon is diverse in its gameplay and can align with any number of different power ups, basically giving hundreds of ways to approach the challenge of escaping to the surface. One small "issue" I'd throw out is that the level design is a little less diverse than what I might have been looking for it to be, but with it being based on Olympian lore it does have an excuse to be fit into that constraint. Characters really shine through in this one, where they put an emphasis on a smaller cast but really fleshing them out and developing them throughout the course of each of your new runs. I finished my platinum at run 77 with characters still providing new lines of dialogues and questlines and I'm sure they will be giving new pieces of info at run 100. The dialogue flows naturally and there are lasting effects that you will see throughout your runs coming through based on how far your relationship with different characters progress. Soundtrack is awesome, not much to say here. This is number one on the "Popular Games this week" section on psnprofiles and it's super well deserved. I recommend this to anyone even if you are not a fan of roguelikes to give this a try. You get a huge amount of value for what it costs and Supergiant Games is a fantastic studio well deserving of the praise they are getting. Omelette Paradise
#502 - Truck Racer Finally finished this comically buggy racing game. For those who've been around long enough to remember, this was a PS+ game from many moons ago back when Sony were still including PS3 and Vita titles amongst the monthly giveaways. It's genuinely one of the worst racing games I've ever played and glitchy to the point of being unenjoyable. The events, races and tracks are fairly dull and repetitive. The handling of the trucks is terrible and they steer like tanks despite appearing bounce off barriers and roll around as though they're far smaller vehicles. The AI of the other racers is also poor as they drive around in the most demented way possible. Then there's the varying difficulty of the events. Races are an absolute cakewalk to win what with the AI racers smashing each other to pieces whereas the Time Trials are a lot more difficult with the other racers setting times like they're prime Lewis Hamilton. It's really jarring. By far the worst glitch I encountered was during one of the later events (a 6 lap race on one of the asphalt tracks) where I was comfortably leading by half a track length when the game failed to recognise me completing the final lap and I had to do it again thus meaning I finished in last place. As annoying as that was, I also found it hilarious and couldn't help laughing So yeah, unless you also claimed it with PS+, I don't recommend this game at all. There are far better racing games out there. Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 3/10
skeggah
Platinum #223 is Bleach: Soul Resureccion for PS3 I Will Transcend All Started playing this sometime in 2011. It has a couple of missing timestamps unfortunately, but at least I'm finished! Clocked it at 176 hours. The backlog is looking slimmer now, only 127 uncompleted games left. Gonna try to get the online trophies for Soul Calibur V next, and hopefully get free from yet another backlog-misshap.

Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #97 - Persona 5 Legendary Phantom Thief - Earn all trophies. 209,098 Owners - 21,456 Achievers for a percentage of 10.26% (average completion; 39.73%) Enjoyment; 8/10 Difficulty; 2/10 Trophies; 7/10 (good mix of stuff) Haru got too little screen time; 10/10 Do I really have to introduce Persona 5? No? We're all familiar? Good. I lined this Platinum up to be Trophy #5,500 in my collection, which sadly isn't a milestone on PSNP. Initially started thanks to having access to the PS Plus Instant Game Collection on PS5, this game is a massively souped-up and expanded take on the combination of dungeon crawling and social simulator that was executed to absolute perfection in Persona 4 (Golden). Although, in my opinion, Persona 5 isn't quite as good. Which is quite the claim to make, but I simply liked the story, setting, and most of the characters in Inaba better than what was on offer in Tokyo. Don't get me wrong, the overworld is so much bigger (Yongen-Jaya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, and so on versus half a dozen tiny locations in P4) but it just didn't trigger the same sensation of comfiness in me. I blame having grown up in the countryside. The core gang of P4 also appeals to me more than their counterparts in 5 did. Although, for real, Ryuji is so much better than Yosuke - it's not even funny. I think Haru was probably my favourite of the group, despite how little attention she received from the devs - awkwardly getting shunted into the group at the tail end of the story. They really did her dirty, because her design and personality are great IMO. But even with a few complaints and having liked the previous game better, this doesn't mean P5 isn't a fantastic title in its own right. A wonderful ride from start to finish with so much to do, see, and experience - and very little room to breathe until you hit the last few weeks of the school year (provided you were diligent in how you chose to spend your time). Me, an intellectual, ended up hitting the bathhouse on every single free day because, duh, it's a Japanese bathouse, bro. As someone who doesn't really play RPGs (the closest I played before P4G was.... well, Pokemon, I guess), I very much enjoyed the social sim aspect of P5 more than the dungeon crawling, monster-fusing, and grinding, but the game is so friendly to entry level players that it was never really a problem. Stick that sucker on Very Easy or even Easy and off you go! The Platinum is exceedingly accessible as well if you take care in milking Futaba for her lines (which is much less of a hassle than getting Rise to give up the goods in P4G), so to see it sitting at just over 10 percent so many years after release is not out of the ordinary. Be nice to see it hit the 9.XX range soon though, most of the Trophies on the list are in a rarity freefall; for instance, Soul of Rebellion sat at 91.83% on May 11th this year but is now down to 90.64%. With that in mind, there is literally no excuse to avoid Persona 5. There is none. No way. I don't care if you like RPGs or not - I don't have a particular fondness for them after all - this game really is worth the 100 or so hours of content it offers (and that's just for the first playthrough). It might have worked nicely as a 100th Plat milestone even, but I've got a dear Yakuza game lined up for that so instead I've popped P5 now. It will definitely be a while until I play Royal, I want to let most of the story of the base game slip from my mind before diving back in to re-experience it all. But if, like myself a few months ago, you've got time on your hands and want to experience something new and incredible on the cheap, then Persona 5 is the way to go. I can't guarantee you won't end up going out and buying a Vita to then play P4G. I'm still working on forgetting that game so I can play the European version and relive it all (and get another Plat lmao).

Popular Post TheAbyssWalker61
Platinum #35 13 SENTINELS AEGIS RIM 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim I must say that this is one of the best games I have played in my life, it is simply wonderful, I never played a Vanillaware game but I will play all of them after trying this beauty, I got it physically because I have to assume that in a few years it will cost a lot of money , it is totally worth it and I recommend it to everyone, even if you only play fornite, COD and fifa you should get out of that scheme and play this perfection, the story is confusing at the beginning but in the end it is easy to understand after everything is unite, all the characters are wonderful but I must highlight Juro, Miura, Miwako (One of the most spoiled characters I have seen) Ogata, Amiguchi, Morimura the teacher (The two big reasons), Iori and Megumi, but all characters are amazing , the RTS part its great and i don't play games of that genre, the art of the game, the graphics, it's just a 10/10, i love the female characters design of Vanillaware, i hope to always see beauty females like this in their games be cause are cute, amazing and feminine (unlike west games iugh) Platinum it's so easy, please give it a chance you will not regret. Best design in the game. Spoiler And my girl thicker than a bowl of meat .
Popular Post Cellcrash1991
#56: MediEvil Savior of Gallowmere Unlock all trophies. Oh boy, this brings back my childhood! I was bored and decided to take a look in the Playstation Store, and suddenly I stumbled upon this. I absolutely didn't know they made a remake of MediEvil. I really enjoyed playing this back on the Playstation 1, but I've never completed it back then because I couldn't save the game. (stupid memory cards) Now I wish they're gonna do the 2nd game too, but I highly doubt that it will happen. It's a shame really that this didn't get the attention that Crash Bandicoot and Spyro had. A nice addition to this remake is the extra content like the lost souls. I also like that when you complete the lost souls, you get access to the original PS1 version of the game, since it's slightly different at some parts in the game. Popular Post CabDK
#555: Sayonara Wild Hearts Dificulty 5/10 Enjoyment 10/10 A dreamy arcade music based action game, where you progress through the levels in a variety of ways, skateboard, motorcycles, dance battles and shooting lasers to the rhythm of electropop. I never heard of this game, but a couple of friends recommended it, and I'm glad I decided to pick it up. It's a short moderately challenging plat, but it's a lot of fun. I recommend it to everyone interested in rhythm/action/runner type of games. Edited August 19, 2021 by CabDK
Popular Post bbaauuiiss97
#950 Neptunia Virtual Stars (EU) About time I got around to playing this, didn't want to start it until I was at 949 platinums so I could just do it all in one go for my milestone lol This game was quite a fun time, seeing all the Vtubers mixed with Neptunia was pretty surreal haha, but also hilariously entertaining from beginning to end. Now I just gotta get to 999 platinums so I can play Neptunia ReVerse ehehe ?

If you do want to read my entire write-up of the PS4 version, feel free to take a look here. That being said, I am not just autopopping the game and then deleting it. I'm replaying the entire game starting today on PS5, with the Japanese lip sync in New Game Plus, as I'll also be checking out the expansion! Might be a while until you get another platinum post from me, haha. Tsushima awaits once more!

Popular Post Quink666
#385 Dead By Daylight Dead by Daylight 1,92% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 1000+ Hours Never thought i would plat this game since I mostly play this game for fun. Platinum took me over 1000 hours in total, my PS5 says i've been playing it for 600 hours but that is totally wrong since you can't reach my devotion level in only 600 hours. This can be platted almost 10 times faster if you are playing for trophies, but when you are just playing it casually expect to put in a lot of hours. Been playing DBD for a little over 3 years now and i never really got tired of it, especially when Behaviour introduce new bugs every 3 weeks to keep the game fresh => This platinum will definitely go in my trophy cabinet. Maybe i'll start the PS5 version now? Who knows.
Popular Post No longer here
#132 - Knockout City Difficulty: 4/10 Rating: 9/10 PSNP Rarity: 5.60% PSN Rarity: 0.2% (Super rare sheesh) Time: 75h+ This game has a unique PVP 3v3 concept with dodgeball and it makes it work like magic. This game is ONLINE only! But actually I love online trophies just as much as offline. The gameplay is fun and smooth, and it's even better with some friends. I guaranteed you will have fun with this game solely due to the adrenaline it gives you. 90% of the games I played were so intense and fun but also keep in mind that your competitors will always try their hardest. The game can seem very "sweaty" a lot of the times, by that I mean try hards that will not allow for such an easy fight, and will use their all to defeat you lol. I went for platinum because I was playing ranked with some friends for nearly a month (Ruby Rank baby) and then I saw the trophies were racking up, so I decided to go for it. Since the game has some time investment and some skill and rng, I can see why the 0.2% rarity is as it stands right now. This game was an experience, and I will still play this if friends tell me too some day. I RECOMMEND!

The plat didn't have you do much. Didn't stop me from collecting all the bottles and buying all the power ups in every map though. I ended the game with over 7000 coins. Even after I bought everything and didn't need them anymore. I couldn't help myself. Saw a shiny pocket and emptied it.
Popular Post DJ__Beatroot
#5: Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas Difficulty: 2/10 (Fishy Sticks Trophy 6/10) Enjoyment: 6/10 Started off really enjoying the game as it reminded me of Zelda. Not too difficult, nice story line, nice graphics. Then I came to the Fishy Sticks trophy. The first 5 fish were a breeze, but then the ghost fish reversed your controls so that was a pain. Just flip your controller around and play that way. That fish fought for 10 minutes! I lost the fish a few times from boredom. Then the fish from hell - the botfish. That fish zaps you and drains your health while magically regenerating health for himself. Plus, it is basically all luck. So that sucks. I can only suggest to others to be sure you have 9 hearts for health and let the fish play out to the edges of the screen before pulling him back. That was a rage quit, 2 hour trophy. I'm DONE.

Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #161 - Maquette (PS5) 33.12% Rarity Difficulty - 3/10, Time Spent - ~10 Hours, Enjoyment 8/10 Maquette is a puzzle game that tells the story of how a relationship evolves over time. The puzzles in Maquette revolve around finding objects and manipulating them within a model of the level. For example, if you find a small bridge figurine, you can place it in the model to create a larger bridge in the real world. There are also parts of the game where you can recursively enter the model world to make yourself smaller to fit through holes and whatnot. It's kind of hard to explain but it's very easy to get the hang of when you're actually playing the game. The puzzles start out being pretty easy but then grow in difficulty. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what you need to do, but on the PS5 there's actually the interesting feature of using hints which will show you how to solve anything you're having a particularly challenging time with. There's also plenty of YouTube videos as well. The game has speedrun trophies for every level. The first couple levels have very tight speedruns whereas the last couple levels are a little more relaxed with the timing. I had to replay the second and third level multiple times in order to get the speedrun, but only had to play the last couple levels one time (apart from the initial playthrough where I figured things out and actually paid attention to the story). Definitely recommend this game for anyone who enjoys the challenge of a puzzle game.
