Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #98 - Tropico 5 Tropico 5 Platinum trophy - Collected all other Tropico 5 trophies 213,576 Owners - 4,703 Achievers for a percentage of 2.20% (average completion; 10.17%) Enjoyment; 7/10 Difficulty; 4/10 Trophies; 8/10 (beautiful tiles, good names and requirements, forced MP) Glory of El Presidente; 10/10 Playing and Platting a city-building / partial Real-Time Strategy game using a gamepad on console! Who would have thought? Not me, but here we are with the Ultra Rare Platinum Trophy of Tropico 5 - a Caribbean-themed title that sees you don the mantle of a deranged despot governing his own little tropical island from humble beginnings in colonial times to great riches in the modern era. Now don't be too impressed by the figures - a Plat of 2.20% and average rarity of just over 10% - as Tropico 5 was one of the 'free' games included with Playstation Plus in May of 2016. And being on Sony's subscription can mean only one thing; a lot of normies are going to try it out, and almost just as many are very quickly dropping it. Certain games do well on Plus - mostly shooters - but others see their rarity positively crater due to just not meshing with the interests of the average video game enjoyer. A city builder like this was never going to catch on. And you know what, good thing it didn't because this list of 71 Trophies contains no fewer than 14 Ultra Rares! They don't come a lot cheaper or easier than this as I'd rate Tropico a 4/10 (or 5/10 at most) in terms of difficulty with a few spikes in the campaign(s, if you include DLC) being the main roadblock on the way to a shiny Plat. With proper preparation, however, nothing here should be too challenging even if you are new to the genre; you can pause the game at any time outside of combat to fix your economy and the game is happy for you to play on the easiest difficulty all the way through. As you could guess from what I wrote earlier, you rule a small island nation throughout the centuries (don't question why your character never dies from old age) through complete control over urban planning. You decide what home, plantations, utilities, and luxuries to build, where to build them, and how to operate them. Want to lure tourists to the island? Go ham with a dedicated folder of buildings designed to attract various archetypes of foreign sunbathers. Want to get rich through industry instead? Plant this poor little island full of pineapples, build canneries, and export them by the literal boatload. In sandbox games there is no true game over as you can continue forever, but you can also opt for scoring systems whereby you need to reach certain goals - be they the amount of money in your bank account or having to build a space program. And if you want something a little different, boot up the bizarre campaign that sees a shadowy organization take you by the hand as you struggle for independence from the Crown. Tropico 5 is a robust package and promises hours upon hours of fun if you can manage to come to terms with its sometimes frustrating economy systems and learn to deal with not having a mouse and keyboard. To my surprise, the controls stopped being frustrating after about half an hour and suddenly just 'clicked' with me. The DualSense somehow just works perfectly here, which is a massive achievement by the developers if you ask me. That was my main concern going in, but with it so comprehensively addressed, there is nothing holding me back from wholeheartedly recommending Tropico 5 for a fun romp through the tropics. Yes, you need to keep your wits about as this is very much a game of careful planning and strategy, and yes, some of the humour that comes at the expense of Caribbean stereotypes will fall on deaf ears (mostly when the radio announcer spits out a canned line for the umpteenth time), but if you can get a cheap copy of the Complete Collection (which includes all DLC and all 71 Trophies on disc) this is a purchase you likely won't regret. And as a bonus, the Trophy tiles are absolutely gorgeous. They are simply spectacular, I love the filter they pulled these through. Sure, they probably weren't very lavour-intensive but the finished product is fantastic. Here are some of my faves; Some of them have terrific names and descriptions as well; It Prints Money, Sheep For Wood, The Town of Cityville, Think Tanks, and so on. Popular Post sona_11
#114 CODE VEIN Revenant Preeminent Enjoyment : 6/10 Platinum : 7/10 The thing that attracted me the most about this game were the character customization and Louie and definitely NOT the gameplay. I hate souls game because when you play them you suffer rather than have fun .. so I was reluctant to weather play it or not. So, I asked a friend if she would like to play this game with me so we could help each other and here we are ~ To this day I still didn't fully understand the gameplay mechanics of this game and was mostly rescued by random in co-op. The monsters hit like a truck and the bosses will one-shot you and you are dead Also, too much fanservice for my liking ... I really like the gothic theme and the atmosphere in the base. I spent most my time there just chilling around, taking pictures, and dancing! The story was ok but I think they could've make it better. I wished if we could interact more with the characters or play some mini-games in the base rather than just stare at them or talk to them about the missions and all that boring stuff ... you know something like bonding would be great! I wish they but more work on the vestiges (characters' past) I mean they don't even move their lips when they speak! Nonetheless, I will be really happy if they made a sequel with improvement to the game, change the gameplay and make it less-like souls ? My characters: Spoiler I present to you the best character:

Popular Post Conor
#114 & TROPHY #6000- UNCHARTED 2: AMONG THIEVES REMASTERED [PS4] Platinum Earn all Uncharted 2: Among Thieves™ Remastered Trophies Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 4 days, 2 hours, 11 minutes, 29 seconds / 25 hours Rarity: 1.9% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 18.85% Rare (PSNProfiles) Challenge: Charted!- Crushing- Finish the Game on Crushing Without Changing the Difficulty "Y'know, people are always telling me how lucky I am. But the truth is, everything I touch turns to shit." The Uncharted series is one of the reasons I decided to switch to PlayStation after years maining on other platforms. The original Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was the first game I ever played on my first own PlayStation 3 system (RIP Fatboy) and its sequel is pretty much my favourite game out of that entire generation. So of course I was going to get around to the remasters, and this version improves on the original in almost every way. Storywise nothing is changed- wisecracking adventurer Nathan Drake goes on a quest to stop a mad warlord from taking over the world using a legendary artifact known as the Cintamani Stone (not the 'Cincinnati Stone' as I see in a lot of articles and posts!) in the fabled land of Shambhala. Instead of a tropical island, Drake instead travels to a Turkish museum, Borneo and Nepal as he attempts to find and destroy the stone before the planet faces certain doom. I enjoyed all of the characters including the newcomers- the sultry Chloe being my favourite- though I was disappointed at the lack of Victor 'Goddamn' Sullivan who is only present for two chapters, having been such a pivotal and brilliant mentor character in the first game. Otherwise, the gameplay was refined; the aiming feels a lot better and looks more accurate- Drake actually looks like he is pointing his gun towards the reticule this time although it still looks off when you swap to looking over his left shoulder- and the climbing never gets dull in spite of the abundance of climbing sections. Some parts of Crushing difficulty felt a bit cheap but using the tweaks helped a lot. Yes I used the exploit on my Crushing run, so sue me, I did it legit the first time around on PS3 so why put myself to the trouble again; I still had to do a legit Hard mode run in order to unlock the tweaks in the first place. The game looks stunning at 1080p 60fps, though I wonder if unlocking the frame rate caused some of the (very minor) issues I noticed. Sometimes the enemy AI was exceedingly stupid and occasionally bodies would go flying after a kill shot. Very weird but nothing to take away from the enjoyment of the game. I also knocked out some of the new trophies present as DLC but I doubt I'll ever do the full speedrun or Brutal trophies- we'll have to wait and see I guess. Mercifully, the multiplayer and associated trophies were removed- some may bemoan that but I honestly don't think this game ever needed multiplayer- as well as the abysmal 200 GAU-19 Kills trophy. All in all, I remain just as in love with this game as I was before. Definitely the best version of the game to play and the only one with the platinum obtainable now that the servers for the PS3 version are dead, which is a shame but at least I got that one in time as well. Looking forward to playing the next game in the series remastered as well and glad to have this as a milestone.

Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (#750) - PS4 **Milestone** "#CantKillProgress" This one caught my attention when it was a PS+ monthly game. The trailer was slick and the gameplay looked interesting. I decided to play thru Human Revolution first, which was great training for Mankind Divided. The story in Human Revolution was interesting, for the most part. You play as Adam Jensen, an aug. who powers up by putting points into aug. powers that help you hack, hide, takedown, etc. I have to admit I lost some of the threads during the trip to China and then things became pretty blurry with the various names, agencies, hitmen, "allies", etc. What struck me was the gameplay. It feels a great deal like a cover shooter and tempts you to try to play the game in that manner. The trophy list and the game design both point to a stealthy approach. Snooping around the levels to find the vent or angle in which you can sneak by without being seen. Discovering these was very satisfying. Even wandering around the open world cityscapes looking for loot to sell or hoard was pretty neat. A stealthy approach made the boss fights tougher, as your augs were not picked for offense. Then Mankind Divided started. The first mission lets you have many of the augs you probably were using by the end of Human Revolution. The graphics feel miles ahead of its predecessor. The movement was less stiff and the various available control schemes felt more natural or at least mimic those of other games. The first mission ends with pretty nice set piece that feels antithetical to how the game is meant to be played. Did a great job to subvert expectations. Of course, something happens that makes you loose those augs and you have to earn points to select them back. Of course, there are more, cool augs to choose from with a fairly solid explanation as to how that would work in the story. What makes this game better, in my opinion, is that the story makes more sense and that the game is somewhat more limited in scope, staying in one main city, Prague. You come and go due to missions and the city changes, particularly in the final act of the game. The story is a mix of Hackers and X-Men: The Last Stand. Yeah, I know. Those are not great starting points, but the story is pretty good. Augs are being treated differently from the Naturals. There is resistance groups that are portrayed as terrorists. There are legislative actions being taken to control Augs. Its all so very allegorical. The microcosm of Adam's world is what makes it interesting. He is part of a task force and does not know if he can trust the head of the task force. His prior employer weaves in and out of the story. Adam also has a connection to an underground spy that is running a parallel investigation into the current events. The tension of these pieces provide the momentum of the game. The two DLC stories are alright. One moves to into a part of Prague that you can only spy in passing during the main story. The other sets you up in prison, without your augs, obviously. Trophy wise, the list has 2 major hitches. The first, is that the game forces you to play the game twice. Once to unlock the perma death mode and then one playthru on perma death mode. With a stealthy run and having already run thru the game, its pretty easy to "speed run" the game on perma death with little difficulty. So, it was much more of an exercise in tedium. I would have preferred a second run that forces one to play guns blazing instead. Would have been a big change of pace. The second is Breach Mode. Breach Mode is an online challenge mode which attempts to throw microtransactions at a game that really did not need them. The concept of a challenge mode was not necessary a bad addition. Running thru a short level with particular parameters make for interesting little puzzle boxes. The addition of loot boxes for skills, ammo, guns, etc. just does not mix well with this game. Thankfully, there are enough guides out there to help grind in preparation of playing thru the various nodes/challenges. Trust me, it is much less daunting then it first seems. Overall, I really enjoyed this game. I am glad to have committed to playing this pair of crunchy, story heavy games. Also, really like the design of the plat for the milestone. Only took 61.5 hours to 100%.
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#162 Spiderman Miles Morales (PS5) Spiderman MM has you playing as Miles, a black teen with an exaggerated swagger, an inexperienced Spiderman getting comfortable with his new powers. Things get especially interesting when you're left alone to defend NYC after Pete leaves for vacation. I won't delve into the story too much due to spoilers but I will say that I surprisingly loved MM more than the first one. I found that Miles had more memorable unique powers and his relationship with his mother, friends and small community was really well done. And contrary to other opinions, I found that the length of the story was just right and did not outstay its welcome and get repetitive. Perhaps my only criticism would be to include more villains/bosses in the game, preferably in side quests I suppose to maintain the cohesiveness of the main story. Graphically speaking, the game is gorgeous and supports ray tracing which makes the city a helluva lot more lively with building reflections especially at night or during the day when the sun shines directly on glass buildings. Not only is it a feast for the eyes but it also supports a performance mode with a silky smooth 60 fps. Imo, MM is arguably the best looking game I've played so far and definitely showcases what the PS5 can do. Here's a cool screenshot that I took And I don't usually mention soundtracks in superhero games because they often sound generic, but I gotta say, whoever decided to "hip-hopify" orchestral music deserves a raise . Playing the tuba aggressively at 0:18 onwards had me wheezing when I booted up the game at the main menu but it's low key amazing not going to lie . Spoiler Anyway, having said all of that, I cannot wait for the sequel which will supposedly feature green goblin and both Miles and Pete working together. Looking forward to seeing what Insomniac will pull off in the future! Onto the next which will be Lost Judgment. Lets goooo!
Popular Post arcanehornet_
Platinum #365: Kid Tripp (PS Vita) This is a really nice little indie game that works surprisingly well on the Vita. It was made by a one-man dev team. I guess it would be best described as an on-rails platformer (you run automatically and you only have to time your jumps.) You also have an option of throwing rocks to defeat enemies, which is very helpful. There’s 4 worlds in total with 5 levels in each, so the game is very short. They follow the usual themes you see in platformers (Grass world, cave world, ice world, etc.) Trophy-wise, this game WOULD be crazy hard. There’s a trophy for beating the whole game without losing a single life. However, you can get this easily by backing up your save to the cloud. Closing the game as soon as you die works very well too. Overall, I really enjoyed the game, it really is an underrated game. Might play the PS4 version at some point. I’ve also heard about the their other game Miles & Kilo, so I’ll check that out as well. Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 4 hours

Popular Post IesuHado
Platinum #165 Warface Difficulty: 4/10 (Personal Opinion) Enjoyment: 7-8/10 Would I recommend it: If you like shooters and have a friend to play also prepared for the especial operation mission and Hq mission on hard yes! Go for it. (If you are not going for trophies, yes 100% fun game free to play to try out). I played this game I think two years ago but honestly I wasn't into getting the game trophies cause I mostly dislike going for online games platinums. But recently a friend of mine recommended to me again and with him I started to getting use to the game and also liking it. We got all the easy trophies first (PVP first and them go for the PVE trophies) in my opinion all trophies are easy enough there are just 2 trophies in the whole game that can beat you up. Beat an Especial Operation in hard difficulty and Beat the HQ mission (Another Spec mission but is like a tower survival of 18 floors). I was lucky enough to find 4 guys here to do the HQ mission and even more lucky enough to made the hard spec ops with random and my friends haha, gotta admit it was fun for me going for this two but maybe for some can be a little bit frustrating. About the gameplay, the game works like a Call of Duty but is more focused on the PVE with coop mission and stuff. Thanks for reading ? See you guys soon, right now I'm working on Nier Automata and Lego Batman 3. Edited September 25, 2021 by NordicSaiyan

Popular Post DrunkenEngineer
Platinum #25 + DLC 100% - Rocket League (September 18, 2021) A surprise hit when it launched as a PS+ title in 2015, Rocket League can be seen as one of the legitimate founders of the modern e-sport scene. Essentially it is soccer with RC cars, hosting a multitude of different modes with the most popular being the traditional 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches. A standalone game when it launched, the developer Psyonix has since been bought out by Epic Games and the game is sadly being turned into a F2P cash cow. The Good Very rewarding skill curve - hitting that sick goal with an assist from your mate will get you leaping from the couch! Items and unlocks offer no competitive advantage - microtransactions can be safely ignored if you just want to play the game Catchy music between matches and on the menu screens, overall a nice and clean presentation with a popping color palate The Bad I'm terrible at the game Microtransactions Trading requirements and restrictions seem to progress from season to season after going F2P; requires an Epic Games account for item trading 100% Impressions I popped a single trophy in 2015 before putting it down. Coming back as a trophy hunter cleaning up my profile, this game was easy once I settled in but still quite overwhelming at times. The best advice I can give is to play it casually; you'll need to rank up your online career to unlock item trading, which is required to complete the trophy list in a reasonable amount of time. I started out trying to do all the exhibition mode boosting with bots and worry about the most efficient way to work through the lists, which was supremely boring and not a good introduction to the game. That said, my recommended order of operations: Follow the tutorials, do the training missions Hop in to a casual online standard 3v3 playlist until you get your feet under you. Try to have fun! Playing with friends is even better. Once you have hit high enough rank to item trade with others, then consider popping over to the the bot exhibition boosts. Most of those trophies unlock quite quickly as a clean up activity. Some of the trophies benefit from boosting, especially the Club DLC, but most everything can be done solo and unlock naturally. I wouldn't recommend people just add this game just for the trophy stack, as I ended up paying real money via the Rocket Pass Premium to speed up the leveling grind. It's also not a long trophy stack, with help from friends I completed in 18 hours according to the PSN profile time tracker. If one has been putting off a trophy clean up, now is as good a time as any to get it done! Otherwise this game wasn't really my jam and I don't plan to revisit; there are other multiplayer games I'd rather play.. My largest gripes can really be narrowed down to F2P mechanics and if those don't bother you, have at it!
