Popular Post dmsleight
# 76 Been on a long break. About 2 years. This is a good title that anyone should enjoy. There are a lot of glitches and such to be aware of for trophy hunters, but it's all doable. Finding specific randomly generated characters was quite annoying. I recommend using lots of shift keys. It makes the grind easier. It is also a lot easier with a good partner/group and for somethings, its almost required. I recommend this one!

Popular Post RadiantFlamberge
Platinum #13 Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4) Adventurer Extraordinaire Proof that you read the entirety of "Travelogue of the Gaete Sea" by Adol Christin. 4.1% Ultra rare/14.27% Rare Falcom has scored a hat trick with their latest three Ys titles- Celceta, VIII, and IX. Their making only one new game a year means devoting their full attention to it and putting in a lot of TLC. You even get unlocked content after beating the game. As usual, the story and characters are nice. Ys X will be something wonderful, I'm sure. This platinum was a little more challenging than IX. The platinum doesn't come up until you've gone back to the title screen after saving your clear data. Just a heads up.
Popular Post dieselmanchild
#232 - Yoku’s Island Express I’m going to keep this relatively short and simply state - this game is the textbook definition of a hidden gem. For me, one of the great joys of trophy hunting is in trying out new things and always hunting for those unique and interesting titles out there that fly under the radar and yet happen to be extremely fun and satisfying to platinum. Yoku’s Island Express, which somehow manages to brilliantly combine arcade pinball with the large, labyrinthian open world and exploration and gameplay elements of a metroidvania, is undoubtedly one of those games. It’s hard to imagine these two genres together, let alone meshing with one another so seamlessly, but here they manage to pull it off skillfully, offering the player a highly entertaining experience that is as deeply satisfying as it is unique. If you find yourself on the lookout for an extremely fun and charming little game, with a refreshingly unconventional concept at it’s core, and a really straightforward trophy list as a bonus (there is almost zero need to consult a guide at all & no missables - just hop on and play!), then look no further! I really can’t say it enough, I highly recommend this game to just about any & all trophy hunters of all tastes and all skill levels! I really think that just about every single person will find something to like here, and will find this to be a very enjoyable and satisfying platinum to add to their collection. This game was recommended to me by one of our fellow members here on PSNP and I’m super thankful he turned me on to this one, so I hope to pay it forward to somebody else! ? Popular Post StewartBros
#178 Gnasty's Demise So, this was the first time I've ever played a Spyro game. It's one of those franchises that just passed me by back in the PS1 days because I was playing stuff like Street Fighter, Tenchu and Metal Gear Solid. In the years since, I never really felt the need to try the games out until a friend recently set me over a disc copy of the trilogy - he'd bought himself a duplicate copy without realising that he already owned it. The game was quite simple for the most part, although there were a few sections where I wondered how in the hell the developers expected young kids to have the reflexes to pull off certain maneuvers (looking at you, Tree Tops!!). A few secret areas were very well hidden, and some of the Egg Thieves were annoying to chase down. I heard a bunch of horror stories about the various flying levels, and expected to have some difficulty with those, but in the end, each one took about 25 mins to complete, and I did them all in one sitting. Overall, the game was fine, though not really a standout title for me. Perhaps it's due to the barely-there story, or perhaps it's because the game doesn't hold that nostalgia factor for me since I never played it before, but I'll probably just give the trilogy to my nephew to play, and concentrate on the backlog of games I already have. At least I can finally say that I've played one of the Spyro games though.

Popular Post Yuuria_
#30 THE LAST OF US PART II I remember when the first TLoU released, it was 2013, and I had no way of playing it only having a Xbox 360; the announcement of the PS4 Remaster was what ultimately influenced my choice to grab the then 'Next Gen' Sony system the most. I have played it at least 10 times since then and it still stands today as one of my favorite games of all time. I wasn't directly effected by the leaks, there's no way anyone can formulate a valid opinion on a product by exclusively basing themselves on a bunch of leaked information without the broader context so I didn't let it bother me in the slightest. Now that I'm done with the game I can say that the story is definitely better than what some people would lead you to believe. Is it the story that the fanbase at large wanted? No, but I commend the developers for telling the story they wanted to tell, a story that is a realistic follow-up to what the first game set up. The game doesn't owe us anything and neither does the world owe anything to the characters for their good actions. Everyone is treated the same, be it friend or foe; there's no heroism in the deaths. No glory, only tragedy, It's as if the game doesn't care about our relationship with other characters, as if they're nothing special, just a bunch of survivors. There were some scenes that I found to be very odd and out of place but for pretty much all of them except for one I had friends who didn't feel like anything was amiss and, conversly, there were some scenes I thought were perfectly fine but they had issues with. It was a very unique experience, divisive, and it did slightly dampen my enjoyment of the product but it made for very good conversations. TIME TO PLATINUM: 65 Hours I'm not sure but it might be possible to get the platinum in a single run if you play on the 'Very Light' difficulty but it will take 2 playthroughs for most players. DIFFICULTY: 3/10 Difficulty is very customizable in TLoU 2 and the vast array of accessibility options allow anyone who wants to to get the Platinum trophy. I personally played on Hard/Per Chapter Permadeath on my first run and on a custom difficulty for the cleanup. I'm glad Permadeath was included as I find the option to immediately restart to take away all the tension from encounters. Having to improvise each time my plans miserably failed (most fights ?) made for a very high stakes experience and I often had to overcommit resources to avoid losing big chunks of progress. I smoothly progressed through the game, never got stuck at any point so a 3/10 seems like a fair assessment. Permadeath wasn't without issues though: before the last patch (1.09) I happened to die 4 times due to no fault of my own but due to various bugs. FUN FACTOR: 7.5/10 The few scenes I personally found to be out of place were the only small stains on what I think is a pretty good story. I think the game is worth playing. It's a bold but realistic follow-up to the events of the first game and it's not afraid to take risks. It might not appease everyone but it is sure to be memorable and thought provoking if given a chance. Most of my dissatisfaction revolves around the state of the game back when I started playing it. Dying multiple times due to bugs wasn't fun and I had to stop playing until a patch was released to adress the issues. It really hurt my overall enjoyment of the game. Popular Post No longer here
#135 - Life is Strange: True Colors (PS5) Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 1/10 PSNP Rarity: 65.71% PSN Rarity: 19.9% I gotta say I really enjoyed this one, it reminded me on the enjoyment I had with LiS: Before the Storm. The characters and story in this game are pretty enjoyable and it can get very emotional especially towards the end. This story focuses on the concept and powers of empathy, and it executes well within the narrative. The game feels real in many ways than in other Life is Strange games. That is because the plot kind of revolves one major event and we get to see people's feelings unfold and the truth about many things in the society these characters live in. Overall, I liked a game a lot more than I expected, maybe some day I will give Life is Strange 2 a chance. I recommend this! especially if you enjoyed any Life is Strange game!

Popular Post madbuk
#434 - DmC Devil May Cry I began this game years ago back when it was on PS+, but ultimately ended up dropping it because... honestly, I can't remember why. This is a solid game and I had a fun time going back to it finally. Combat is satisfying, there's plenty of varied attacks, it's decently challenging at times, and the platforming in between fights is nothing hard or thought-provoking, but it's a great way to break up the pacing and reduce the repetition. The story isn't anything special or memorable, but that may be a result of me spreading it out over 6 years, or me not having played any other DMC game for full context of the characters, but that's okay. The gameplay made up for the lacking story. The platinum for this required 6 full playthroughs, and so did the DLC, which sounded overwhelming at first but it actually ended up being rather fun, like Resident Evil trophy lists each run was just slightly different, whether it be your goal, or specific modifiers, or the enemy waves, which made all 6 engaging in their own way. I can't see myself stacking this on PS4, 6 playthroughs may have been enough for me, but... never say never. It would probably be fun.
Popular Post Valzentia
#32 - Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay! Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 5/10 For a licensed collect-a-thon platformer catering to 3-year olds, this game surprisingly doesn't suck. It's also a better easy platinum than all those Ratalaika stacks (though that's probably to be expected since Ratalaika games tend to be the bottom of the barrel). Popular Post Quink666
#390 Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood Legend 18.35% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 9 Hours I accidentally bought the PS4 version instead of the PS5 version, but in the end i didn't really matter since the game is horrible no matter performance. Combat is a one button spam with the occasional use of an ability. Side quest are lame and boring, go there and press or go there and spam . Thank god i didnt pay full price for this game. Stay away from this game if you like having fun! #391 Hitman 3 World of Assassination 15.09% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 20+ Hours I now have 100% of all Hitman reboot trophies and i can safely say that the third installment is the best one. Best mission and maps, most interesting story missions. All three games are very similar to eachother and all are worth playing. The improved load times on the PS5 version made that game even more enjoyable since i tend to save and load alot for vertain challenges/trophies. Thankfully you can import progress from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3 to save a little time by starting with all poisons and lockpicks and such. Trophies for all 3 games are pretty good with a mix of everything. Every map has basicly the same trophies, kill targets a certain way, do all story missions and reach mastery rank 5/20. I highly recommend this game for anyone enjoying stealth games. Alan Wake is up next!

Popular Post Red-Izanagi
Platinum #278 Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Difficulty: 9/10 Time: 36 Hours (Ingame Timer) Puhh, so uhm not to much to say about this game. A brutal good Character action game with sick gameplay, which rewards you to become good, kick ass soundtrack and nice bossfights included. Well there's some negative aspect about this game. First it doesn't explain to good how to block and second, the lack of a sequel :/ Anyways i liked every aspect of the game, despite of the difficulty and some cheap death.
