Popular Post Mariner1534
#67: Ghost of Tsushima (PS5) - Living Legend First thing's first: this game is absolutely gorgeous, with some of the prettiest locales I've ever seen in a game. I spent an embarrassing amount of time just fiddling around in Photo Mode taking artsy pictures of the latest scenic overlook or beautiful sunset I found. Also, while the PS5 version doesn't really push the DualSense's unique features to their limits, I thought it was cool how you can "feel" your horse running with the haptic feedback. Not to mention the lack of load times being a godsend for a game like this. If you just like running around a vast overworld while eating the eye candy and feeling like you're a 13th century samurai, then Ghost of Tsushima is easily worth a purchase. However, this may be a bit of a hot take, but I thought the actual gameplay was a tad bit overrated. I still had a good amount of fun overall, and the combat's pretty good, but the overworld, despite being beautiful, felt very "Ubisoft-y," for lack of a better term. You'll see lots of repetitive tasks on your way to the plat, like fetch quests, clearing out enemy camps, and "collect/visit all of the things" - the lack of variety honestly felt kind of mind-numbing at times. It never felt as bloated as a modern Assassin's Creed, though, and the abundance of fast-travel points combined with the PS5's near-instant load times made getting around a breeze. Admittedly, I may still have some lingering open-world burnout - I 100% AC Origins/Odyssey back-to-back last summer and still have little desire to tackle anything with a similar structure. If you still love big open-world games, you'll probably have a more positive opinion of GoT than I had. And even with my gripes, the graphics and combat kept me interested enough to see it through all the way. The plat was really easy, just time consuming since it's a big game. Mostly just clearing out all the story/side quests while visiting/collecting most of the places/things in the game, with a few simple combat-related trophies sprinkled in for good measure. Postgame trophy cleanup should be pretty quick, since by then you should be able to warp to just about anywhere on the map in 2 seconds. Nothing difficulty related, either. Completing the Iki Island expansion (not required for the plat, but worth playing) is the same deal, just on a smaller scale - it's about a third the size of the base game's map. No idea about the multiplayer Legends stuff, since I barely dipped into it and think I'm done with the game for now. Apparently the PS5 plat will autopop if you already finished it on PS4, in case you like stacking. Popular Post Sylvanticore
#59: The Apex Predator Unlock All Other Trophies A very fun take on the horror genre of games mixed with Metroidvania, played it a long time ago when it first came out on PC, stopped as I got lost very easily. Soon as I found out a PS4 version was coming I knew I had to get it, well I've finished it now and was worth the wait, trophies wise they are pretty simple as it's all stuff that is really unmissable apart from the containment units which you'll need upgrades for to get to, however you'll have everything you need before the end of the game to go back and get them (Thanks random youtube guide).... and yes I see the name of the Platinum and to all of my fellow shrimps of Hololive out there.... Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 239! 超次次元ゲイム ネプテューヌRe;Birth1+ 超次次元ゲイム ネプテューヌRe;Birth1+ マスター The (Japanese only) PS4 remaster of the remake of the first Neptunia game! Too bad it was released only in Japan, but actually it wasn't really difficult to play. Once you memorize the menu and the commands position is really easy, especially if you've already played the PS Vita version. I had to check on a guide the requested items in order to unlock more dungeons and the "add enemies" plans (and sometimes the translator was a little bit strange, but nothing was really hard). and I also had to rewrite the world map with the dungeons translations. And I also had to replay the game in NG++ because I forgot the "add enemies" in Millennium Labyrinth dungeon in NG+ (which is available in a very narrow period, at the beginning of chapter 5). Unlike the Vita version, the remastered one has all the DLC, especially the new characters (Plutia!) and the 999 level cap, and, after the (useless) grinding to 100 millions, my CPUs were beyond 400! And platinum screenshot in the world map after reaching 50 millions, selling, buying, selling, buying... Until the final trophies popped up!

Popular Post Darghel
#121 Brainiac (Psychonauts) Difficulty: Not hard but not exactly easy... Time to Complete: 17 hours Recommended: Urgh...if you must Total score: I'll tell you after these messages! Ok jokes aside, I want to tell you my thoughts about this game before I give my vote. Good thing is, I really enjoyed the game: the levels were very creative, I had a lot of fun exploring them, and some of them were very impressive (Waterloo level is my favorite so far, second being the Milkman conspiracy). The many powers are pretty fun to use and very useful as well, and the style is very memorable and I like that! There are a lot of collectibles and I like that, and they give a lot of rewards as well. There's plenty fo stuff and for a platformer of the 2005, it's definitely a very good one, and I can see why people consider this game a gem: it does a lot of good and the game has great ideas, and I really enjoyed that. Plus the game has a LOT of dubbing and that's impressive too. But the problem is that ideas alone aren't enough and this game is the proof of it, as the game is such a janky mess of incredible proportions...starting with the level design! The camp area is...weird to say the least! It has some weird design and directions, I initially had a hard time exploring. It gets easy later but damn it's a mess. The levels themselves are okay but some of them are also messy, and sometimes hard to go through: sometimes going through a tunnel messes your camera, sometimes it won't. I once couldn't ascend a ladder during the waterloo level and I would fall down. In the final level, the rails wouldn't work and sometimes they would. Again, it's so messy! And the collectibles...WHO THOUGHT OF MAKING FIGMENTS HARD TO SEE?! Seriously, the figments is the worst part of the whole collecting process: they're nearly invisible, especially in levels with many colors, and you can't even SEE them from afar! I'm not sure if it's because the version played is bad, but I struggled a lot to get the figments whenever I needed them. And speaking of versions, this is the ps2 version and the ps2 version was BAD. How do I know this? Because I played it on ps2 before! And it suuuucked! It had bad loading issues and graphically speaking was a mess, just like this one, and had a ton of framerate issues. I just don't think it ever froze on ps2, which it did on the ps4 version. Twice! Bottom line, my main issue with this game was the technical ones and for this reason alone I can't give it higher than 7. I really liked the game and the final level almost broke me, but the many issues are what keeps this game from being great and they were frustrating at some points. I can see why it's well loved, but if you want to play this game with a decent version, I would recommend any other version that doesn't suck (PC seems to be the best one right now, I might even buy that one day). Now there's hoping that Psychonauts 2 is also good... Edit: I forgot about the trophies! Well did you know there are missables? Yeah, there are quite a few of them and must be done on specific points in the game or else they're gone. Even one level, if cleared, has a missable item that is required for a trophy. Damn, a messy game AND missables, in a platformer no less! Edited November 8, 2021 by Darghel Forgot about the trophies!
Popular Post Trumpet_Boi_208
#29: Death Road to Canada Enjoyment: 9/10 Introduction For the most part, I've almost never been able to get into rogue-ish games. I would be drawn in by their cool ideas, seemingly endless replayability, and challenging trophy lists, only to lose interest a couple hours later for various reasons, whether that be RNG, repetition, or both. So when I purchased and downloaded Death Road to Canada, I was unsure as of whether or not I would enjoy the game. At first, it seemed to be that way. After completing my first run on Normal mode, I drifted to other games, such as Trials Fusion, Dead by Daylight, Warframe, and Payday 2. However, once I completed Payday 2, I started getting into it again, and now it is one of the best games I played this year. Death Road to Canada is a roguelite road trip game that sees you guiding up to 4 individuals to the Canadian border, the last place on Earth that is safe from the zombie outbreak. Your trip consists of making decisions in text-based events, scouring various locales for sweet loot, and fending off hordes and hordes of zombies. The Good While the gameplay loop is simple, there's no predicting what will happen on the Death Road, which is what makes it so fun to play. Your characters might scrape dog poop off of a government ration box, or encounter aliens, ghosts, or sasquatches, or one might turn into a malevolent demon who just wants some pizza. This wild unpredictability is not exclusive to text-based events. It also applies to some characters that you might meet on your many journeys. You might encounter characters such as Jason Voorhees, Elvis Presley, Doomguy, Uncle Sam, and many other strange individuals that you may or may not recognize. The combination of weird driving events and characters is what kept me engaged for the 50+ hours it took me to earn the platinum for this game. The game's presentation is rock-solid, with charming pixelated graphics that runs smoothly on (excluding the frame dips at the end of an O*P*P run) every combat encounter I have played, regardless of the zombie size, as well as a small but extremely memorable selection of chiptune music. The gameplay less of a test of your reflexes, and more of a test of your ability to strategize and think on your feet. What characters should I bring on my journey, and what perks and traits should they have? Should I take a risk and recruit this person who claims to be a medical expert? Should I scour a restaurant or a lost stronghold? Should I loot other nearby buildings, or should I leave before night falls? During any instances of combat, you always need to keep in mind not only your resources, but your positioning as well. Poorly positioning yourself amongst a crowd of zombies is a one-way ticket to death, so it's important that you're always keeping away or squeezing through the crowd. You can also hold your ground, if you feel that you have the resources necessary to push the zombies back through a chokepoint. It's also important to utilize whatever you have in your environment to your advantage, such as furniture. The actual controls are very simple, but the strategy involved in each encounter makes it consistently fun and engaging. I have barely encountered any bugs at all during my time with the game, very rarely experiencing anything more than a minor visual glitch. There is one exception, though. If you play as Mecha Mountie during O*P*P mode and make it to the end, shooting too many lasers at once will slow down the framerate, and will cause the game to crash if done excessively. Apart from that, I've had very little problems when it comes to polish. The Bad Just because I enjoy this more than most other rogue-ish games, doesn't mean that it does not have the same problem I have with other roguelikes. Although it happens very infrequently, when RNG hates you, it DESPISES you, and it will make runs that are borderline unwinnable. These are definitely the most frustrating moments I had with this game, so be aware of these rare runs if you start the game. Difficulty: 6.5/10 (Massive kudos to @Joe Dubz for not only his exemplary work on the guide, but for his patience in updating the guide as I provided him with new information regarding newer updates and better strategies, especially considering that it's been quite a while since he even played the game!) While it's definitely not the hardest platinum I earned, it's far from the easiest, and you will probably have it a little harder, unless you're able to revert the game to previous versions. One of the tough trophies is "Omega Streak," which requires you to beat Normal, Familiar Characters, Rare Characters, Short Trip, Long Winding Road, Deadlier Road, Familiar Extreme, Rare Extreme, Marathon, and K*E*P*A modes without losing in between. While it sounds impossible, due to the game's wild RNG factor, there are a variety of things you can do to make this feat doable. If a text-based event goes wrong, simply close and restart without accepting the results to try it again. If a looting or siege event goes bad, simply close and restart to do it again. If you have a PS Plus subscription or a spare USB lying around, you can use these to upload your save to use as a failsafe, in case something happens that causes you to lose. Even if you don't have either one of these, there is still a way to soften the immense difficulty of this trophy. If you feel that you can't win the run you're attempting, you can simply quit to the menu while driving, and simply delete the save. Deleting the save from the menu will not kill your streak, although quitting from a looting or siege event will, so keep this in mind. Personally, the hardest trophy was "Don't Let Me Die," which requires you to beat K*E*P*A mode with the mode's signature character: Kepa. What makes this the hardest trophy? Well, the mode makes bandit encounters more cruel and frequent, and doubles the zombie amount right from the get-go. Plus, Kepa is a character that is quite challenging to keep around, since he only has 1 health point, and has very low personality stats. This was the one mode that actually stumped me for a while, and I could not finish this one until I changed my starting strategy, twice. When it comes to finishing a run with all these different rare characters, it has become a lot easier as of the most recent update, since O*P*P mode (or Overpowered Party Mode, which allows you to start with whichever characters you want) now has every single rare character needed for the platinum, when that previously wasn't the case. Although O*P*P mode triples the zombie amount, this can be negated by either bringing Mecha Mountie or Grim Reaper with you, which are both characters that can take out crowds of zombies without too much trouble. Mecha Mountie has an absurdly powerful laser, but he will kill your teammates if his morale gets too low. Grim Reaper, on the other hand, has absurdly high strength and fitness, fairly good wits, and a powerful scythe, but he can't pick up items off the floor, and he is less capable of effortlessly clearing crowds of zombies. Which character you should use for these trophies is entirely up to you, if you decide to hunt this platinum. Conclusion Death Road to Canada is one of the best roguelites I've ever played, and is a game that I would easily recommend to anyone. The platinum is fairly challenging and lengthy, but nothing too absurd, as long as you utilize strategies to make it easier. I apologize if this post is a bit curt, but if I were to say everything I wanted to say about this game, this would be a whole page long.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#569 - Terminator Resistance Decent game overall. The gameplay is pretty fun and doesn't have needless filler stuff. The one things that is really bad are the load times... those take forever and there are way too many of them. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 (Depends a lot of individually skill) Would I recommend it?: Yes, is a good 3D/2D Platformer and is a good entrance in the Sonic Franchise. I´m not the biggest fan of Sonic but I do like him are his 3D mostly games. I only played Sonic games in Nintendo systems this is my first time playing one on a PS console (I have Sonic Mania but as I said I don´t like Sonic 2D games, shame on me, my brother played it a bit and I totally delete it, no way I was going to 100% that I suck). The game is not awesome and in my opinion from the 3D series the "Adventure 2" for the gamecube is still the best (I love the chaos game). But still not a bad platformer at all and thanks god the Sonic 2D levels in this one are fairly easy enough for an newbie like me. Story is pretty simple and classic and I actually enjoy easy kid stories games lol, graphics and visuals plus effect are really good for the game and music like almost all Sonic Games, is pretty good. Gameplay can be a bit rough and buggy sometimes and levels desing are a miss or hit you can enjoy them but when a bug attack maybe you start seeing the failures. The plat is actually pretty easy and funny to go for it if you enjoy the game, that´s something I like it a lot!. Not boring endless collectables or grinding in this game, just playing a completing some missions. Platinum #173 Undertale Don't You Have Anything Better to Do?Obtain all other Undertale trophies. Enjoyment: 2/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Would I recommend it?: I´m not sure I would tell you I haven´t playing it or that is a 50/50 chances. ??? I didn´t like this game, I know it have a big fandom and the music and dialogues are awesome but as a game for me is just to boring... I don´t like that gameplay mechanic for a whole game and a at some point the dialogues and story just got tedious for me. It´s not a bad a game just not for me. Thanks for reading ? Game Enjoyment: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2.5/10 Another fun and easy platinum in the series. Score Attack and Survival Mode are even easier this time as you only need to get cumulative totals (i.e. just play each mode a few times), whereas the requirement for Time Attack is even more lenient (12 minutes instead of 10). There are combo challenges you need to do for the platinum, but you only need to finish up to Intermediate-level ones for 5 different characters out of 20 (and those combos are very easy with just a few moves to do). The trophy for beating Arcade Mode on the highest difficulty was very easy as well thanks to Hilda. Plus, no online trophies whatsoever this time. So yeah, it's an easier platinum overall. I got the Vita version, which was an excellent choice because the game looks and runs very well there. If you enjoy fighting games and haven't played this one yet, I can definitely recommend it. I'll be sure to play Late[cl-r] and the upcoming sequel at some point. The good thing is that I have Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax from the same developer to look forward to in the meantime.

Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #458: Blasphemous The Penitent One Unlock all of the Trophies Well, now we're talking. I have plenty of issues with Blasphemous, but in the end, the sum is greater than the parts. Blasphemous is a "metroidvania" (God - I hate that term as much as Soulslike nowadays), so expect some backtracking, some locked doors, some shortcuts, and some big bosses. And for the most part, Blasphemous gets this right...assuming that you play after the numerous patches that have improved QoL significantly. This is a breezy 30-hour plat for most, most likely through two playthroughs (one which includes a mini speed run). Combat is precise and fun. Some complaints from critics are the general repetitiveness against jobber enemies. This is true, but doesn't really hit the real problem, which is that enemy combinations are rarely in a mix that causes a ton of threat. There are exceptions, but for the most part, you're fighting one enemy at a time, which has a clear tell. Bosses are better, with multiple tactics involved. My personal favorite is against three sisters, two of which use a needle-like spear, and one which uses a slower mace-like weapon. All weapons can be thrown (sometimes simultaneously), and the whole battle moves constantly, making for a frenetic time (particularly on NG+). If I had one complaint, the bosses tend to increase in difficulty to the midpoint of the game, and then get much easier. Maybe it's due to more power, or understanding the system, but I felt that the enemy guarding the bridge was harder than anything beyond him (maybe that's why they put him there). The biggest drawback to this game was the insta-deth spikes. They're too numerous, and often blind. But ultimately, you don't lose much from death, so you get used to them. All in all, a solid game for the $9 or so that I paid for it, with numerous expansions and additions that have been added for free. Plat #459: Cyberpunk 2077 Never Fade Away Unlock all trophies Ah. Here we are. Probably the most controversial game of the generation, CyPunk has garnered more hate than any game I can remember in recent times. Is it deserved? Read on! First, I can't comment on the launch state of this game. I only started it a few weeks ago. What I can say is that the game works well enough now. Technically, the game has excruciating load times, and sometimes very strange stuff happens during gameplay. For example, in making my final sweep to purchase all the cars available, sometimes cars would sink into pavement as if it was quicksand. At one point, a giant wall appeared on the road, right in front of me, only to disappear a few seconds later. At times, my head would look like I was wearing some kind of novelty shark hat. I have no idea what any of this stuff meant, but it was weird. Bigger problems occurred when I couldn't drive a selected car after calling it. I could enter the car, I could exit it, but it wouldn't move. Speaking of cars, a few quests in the game give you some free ones. The cars, however, never spawned (this occurred in the quests "Dressed to Kill" and "These Boots are Made For Walking"). The game softcrashed on me once, and blue-screened on me once. But the biggest annoyance was waiting through interminable load screens after fast travels or after death. Now, to the game. First, control of V (our intrepid main character) was decent enough. When I wanted to climb, I was able to climb. When I wanted to shoot, I could shoot. I swung my baseball bat fine enough. Quickhacks were nice and easy (though sometimes, when scanning a target, the option never actually appeared on the screen). The world of Night City...is a joke. It looks good enough, environmentally speaking (though I don't see why I needed a massive 107 GB install for this). But the world is dead. DEAD. Passers by can be spoken with, but half the time, they won't respond, and the other half of the time, they'll just say something like, "How's it going?" Sometimes, they'll just wander into the middle of a gunfight. Often, you have the opportunity to save them in various criminal situations. Whether you save them or not has zero impact on the game, and even if you do save them, don't expect a "thank you" or anything. One of the strange things about this game is its depiction of sex. On the one hand, sex permeates nearly every advertisement in the game. No joke, out of the multitude of billboards I encountered, I would say that sex, in some form, was on 98% of them (and there is a shitload of billboards in the game). But Night City is probably the most prudish city I've ever seen. The advertised strip clubs tend to have women dancing in their most provocative...bikini. Actually, some of them just have fully-dressed women dancing. Men are the same way; tight pants are about as risque as it gets. Supposedly, people can get virtual sex via "braindances" (simulations via direct neural stimulation), but all of the braindances encountered in the game are as tame as can be. In some ways, Night City mirrors CDPR's CyPunk: it's oversold like crazy, but the actual experience is far less interesting. As far as gameplay, missions are divided into story missions and side missions. Both of these are pretty good, honestly. I think I liked the side missions a little bit better, as they tended to have off-the-wall stuff (the dude whose penis was about to explode was a good one). Then, there is a LOT of additional fluff, in the form of random gang violence throughout the city. This gets very, VERY boring, and honestly, it's totally unnecessary. It will likely add another 30-40 hours to your gameplay, while detracting immensely from your experience. I mean, how many times do you really need to rush into a group of 5 people to pick some shit up off of a body? This is even more boring than clearing out your 100,000th base in Assassin's Creed: Origins. So, let's ignore that crap (which you won't be able to do if you're going for the plat), and discuss the better stuff. Missions (and especially side missions) tend to have multiple avenues of approach, and initially, I really dug this. For example, maybe your character is a 10-ton truck. Well, time to go in, all guns blazing. Or, maybe your character is a big-brained 9-stone weakling. Well, there's probably another avenue of approach. I had hoped to see something approaching the level of choice in Fallout: New Vegas. We didn't get there, but early on, I still enjoyed it. However, at some point, the luster rubs off. Remember that 9-stone weakling who couldn't shoot his way out of a paper bag? Well, not to worry, because literally EVERY mission will have a back door. Most of the time, it's a hole in a fence, or a random side door that just isn't guarded, but at some point, it becomes a joke (in fact, it was a joke between my wife and I; one mission had an entire military convoy protecting the entrance, but not to worry, because I KNEW that somewhere, there was an unguarded section of fence...and of course there was). One big negative is the lack of meaningful dialogue options. Depending on your character development and your choice of background, you can sometimes unlock new dialogue during missions. Ultimately, it serves as nothing but flavor text. I can't think of a single time in the game where this dialogue changed the outcome, or even the journey, of a quest. You might think that being a Nomad might help you negotiate better with that outlaw Nomad, but nope - he'll do the same shit either way. But hey - you can talk about the good times sleeping under the stars before the gunfight begins. Character development is yet another example of a system that looks good at first, but ultimately falls flat. There are 5 traits you can raise, and within these traits, there are sub-traits, and even perks associated to the sub-traits. Sounds cool, right? WRONG. I decided I would play as a quick-hacker, meaning that I would attack from afar with various status attacks. I worked hard to raise my quick hack sub-trait. Unfortunately, leveling the sub-trait doesn't make you significantly better at quick hacking. It might unlock new stuff, but mostly, it allows you to buy perks...which mostly suck. Ultimately, the whole netrunner thing sucks; for whatever reason, enemies can always find your position after one or two quick hacks. Juxtapose this with, say, pistols, which are probably the most overpowered nonsense imaginable. In fact, they're so powerful that you can likely one-shot any enemy in the game by level 15 (there are 50 total levels of experience that your character can obtain). My guess is that other weapons are similar. Blah blah blah. The long and short? This game isn't that great. It doesn't fail because of its technical limitations (though that doesn't help). It fails because most of it is half-assed garbage. It's hard for me to believe that the same devs that created Witcher 3 made this. Lesson learned for all, I guess. Popular Post StraightVege
The Penitent One #277 - Blasphemous (physical Deluxe Edition) 1st Fastest Achiever (1 day, 3 hours) My second journey through this extraordinary Metroidvania-Soulslike, and even more fun than the first, since I'm so familiar with the areas and bosses by now. Having already offered my detailed thoughts on it in the past (here and here), I won't bother filling this space with repetitious comments, but suffice it to say, Blasphemous is one of my favorite games, and among the very few I've ever enjoyed enough to stack. To be honest, I'd happily do it again on a future version, too. Also quite pleased that I managed to be the fastest achiever on this physical edition, despite taking my time: I slept, took breaks, watched cutscenes, and read item descriptions. Certainly could have finished under 24 hours if I hadn't, but health and fun were the priorities this time. If only Blasphemous II wasn't so far off... sorrowful be the heart. I just can't get my fill of the captivatingly morbid Cvstodia! It's on par with Lordran and Hallownest for me, and I eagerly anticipate discovering more of its macabre secrets in the sequel. Really hope they fix the absurd spike hitboxes, though. ? Edited November 8, 2021 by ScarecrowsFate
Popular Post sona_11
#116 ATELIER ESCHA & LOGY: ALCHEMISTS OF THE DUSK SKY DX Trophy Completionist Enjoyment : 7/10 Platinum : 5/10 This is the 4th Atelier game I've played so far. I've wanted to play this game for one reason: the relationship between the two protagonists. it's pretty known that there is no romance in Atelier games except this one, and it's funny because this is the only game that got an Anime adaptation, which could possible imply that it's actually liked by many people. So I wonder why they don't make another one with romance interactions! Anyways, let's talk about the gameplay and the story. The gameplay was similar to the Arland series but for some reason it took me a long time to understand it especially the synthesis, and when I started the game I didn't follow a guide so I screwed my playthrough; thank god I had an early save. The story is actually good but they only focused on it at the end of the game, like at the last 20% while the 80% was mostly about the daily life of the characters. I hated farming for gears and properties which was the thing that take most of my time but it was worth it at the end. The most thing I love about this game is Escha and Logy's relationship, it was so cute and fluffy and enjoyed seeing the POV of each of these character in their respective route! This probably gonna be the last Atelier game I play since most of them don't interest me Another RPG series to drop
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#163 Ghostrunner (PS5) Ghostrunner is a unique first person, parkour, cyberpunk, sword slasher set in the future where humanity is screwed for a lack of better words. The best way to describe this game is if Faith from Mirror's edge met with V from Cyberpunk 2077 and decided to have a baby trained by Lo Wang from Shadow warrior. Suffice to say, what makes Ghostrunner great is it has all the elements from different games bunched together which makes for a solid experience. Couple that with the hotline miami-esque soundtrack and you've got an entertaining game. Seriously though, the game kicks all sorts of ass when you're travelling at full speed, wallrunning, dodging projectiles left and right and slashing baddies before they have even a chance to hit you all while some sick beats are playing. Speaking of the amazing soundtrack, there were tons of them but here were my top 2 (not in order). Headphones recommended! Spoiler Plays in the main menu and several other story moments. Love the build-up all the way leading to 0:57 Love the eerie vibe to this one when you discover a major plot point Anyway, having said all of that, I do have a few things that aren't so positive about the game. I played the PS5 version and it could've used a tiny bit more cooking in the oven especially that this is a rerelease of a ps4 game! The audio had a tendency to cut off at times or the soundtrack would reset. The game also crashed on me twice which unfortunately sets you back to beginning of the level. Thankfully, each level can be completed in about 15-30 minutes so it wasn't that big of a deal but still it could've used a bit more polish. I will cut the devs some slack though as it's a from a relatively small team which was recently founded in 2014! All in all, I highly recommend Ghostrunner for a short action packed experience if you enjoy parkour in games. Onto the next!
