AgentSmiz
Platinum 133: Word Wheel by POWGI Bought with some leftover wallet funds after getting the Doom Eternal DLC and played whilst the base game updated. It's left a screen burned image on my tv that I'm now trying to get out of it. Yeah, would not recommend.
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#164 and Trophy milestone #9000 Lost Judgment Lost Judgment is the second game in the judgment series which pits you in the shoes of Takayuki Yagami, a 38 year old former lawyer, current detective who loves to practice his Kung-fu on bratty highschoolers . Jokes aside, there's so much to do in this game and so much to talk about that the only logical way to present this is if I split them into sub-sections. Story Yagami and friends this time around, head to Yokohama to investigate a bullying case which resulted in the tragic suicide of a student. In some serious drama fashion, the case ends up being deeper than it is actually with memorable villains and action set-pieces, peppered with feelings of melancholy due to the subject of bullying and suicide. I won't talk about the story any further due to spoilers but just know that you're in for a treat and you may potentially experience one of the best stories from the devs so far. Combat Arguably, Lost Judgment has the best combat among the other games the devs have produced in the past. Yagami has 3 fighting styles with clearly some inspiration from the way Jackie Chan choreographs his fights in movies. - Crane style for crowd control - Tiger style for dishing out damage and mainly targeting single enemies - Snake style which is mainly for parries, quickly subduing enemies and inflicting status ailments like stun or fear. - Bonus boxing style as paid DLC (should've been in the main game imo.. but oh well) If you wish to see the combat in action, I recorded some gameplay footage Spoiler Minigames Then there's the goofy aspects and fun minigames which there's a LOT of. - Boxing (my favourite alongside dancing) and motorcycle racing) - Dancing - Skateboarding - Girlfriending (?) - Gambling - Golf - Darts - Batting - Drone racing - Sega arcade games - Sega Master system games - Robotics - Motorcycle races AND many many many more. What I liked the most was how the school story minigames all have their own storyline which made them even more compelling to do. At times, it almost felt like I was playing a Japanese spiritual successor to Bully . (which c'mon Rockstar, I'm waiting for a sequel...) Substories It wouldn't be an RGG game without being roped into some weird shit . We're talking about joining a ninja school to see why students are defecting from a previous dojo, to hunting down a quadruplet of perverts (panty professor, Ass catchem , Judge peep n' creep, GIANT IMPACT) who wish to indoctrinate their perversion onto people and live in a society where they can freely express themselves. Soundtrack I expect nothing less from the devs when it comes to making bangers especially when you have Hidenori Shoji and Hyd lunch at your disposal! There were so many fudging bangers and I could spend all day sharing all of them but I'll leave you with my a few of favourites. Grab some headphones and enjoy! Spoiler This has no right being this good for a regular chase theme. It's an absolute crime that this plays once, ONCE only in the entire game. Versus an interesting villain . Love the weird spooky but christmasy (?) vibe to it with a hint of horror slasher in the mix. If the word IKUZOOOOO was personified into a song, this would be it Amon theme... Need I say more? AAAaaaand I saved the best for last. Final boss theme. Best theme hands down in the game and blows Judgment 1's final theme out of the water. Phase 1: 0:00-1:24 Phase 2: 1:24 - 3:45 Phase 3: 3:45 - 5:13 (favourite part. Purely eargasmic). Phase 4: 5:13 - 8:35 Final phase : 8:35 - end. As a closing remark, I'd say Lost Judgment was one of those games where you wish you can erase your memory and play the game again as if it was your first time. With that said, I'll leave you with my final stats . Onto the next!
Guest
#450 Goosebumps: The Game point n click based on the books of the same name, some trophies can be laborious without the use of a guide. great suspense of venturing through dark corridors and beautifully designed environments, this game is worth it, there are possibilities to be sifted through and trial and error, but you can get platinum without a guide if you try hard enough. Popular Post Redgrave
#230: Platinum - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered After finishing the first Uncharted I looked forward to playing the sequels and it's pretty impressive with how big of a leap the second game is compared to the first one. The graphics are really good especially for a game that came out in 2009 and not only are the set-pieces bigger but there are a lot more of them and it worked with the gameplay by having more varied combat arenas. There was also lots of spectacle with big action scenes but it didn't feel like they were getting overused. Overall a really good game that I can see why it set the bar pretty high back when it came out. The trophies weren't too bad either. I think the only real difficult part was Crushing because of some of the combat segments especially near the end where there will be a few armored enemies along with several other enemies trying to flank you at once but it wasn't unbearable. I would say it leans a bit more on the chaotic but not ridiculously insane side especially since it could be pretty easy to die but like the first game the checkpoints can be pretty generous.
Popular Post slender_adrian
- Kingdom Hearts II - #79 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Rarity: 9.68% Very Rare Time: 95 Hours "We're back" I have to say that I really enjoyed playing this game, for me this is one of those games that is very pleasant just playing it, the combat is extremely fun, the drive mechanic is cool, the way magic work in this game, the level design is wonderful, basically all the stuff I dislike of KH1 is gone here. The story was good, but confusing some times, there was some stuff I didn't like about it, some parts should have a higher impact but that's ok, overall is was pretty good. Boss fights are extremely awesome, every boss plays different, some can go smooth and others can be annoying dealing with them, but I like a lot how the game makes you think carefully yours moves especially on higher difficulties, smashing x is not an option haha. This game is awesome that's all I can really say about it, the characters are amazing, there are a lot of funny moments, it was amazing playing this game! As for trophies, most of them are pretty simple, do this, get that, some fights here and there. I liked going for this plat, even getting all the materials was fun. If I have to pick a tedious trophy I would pick Conqueror, it isn't that hard to get but some requirements are really annoying. As for Critical Mode, yeah you can die for one or two hits but let's be honest, you do more damage and get a lot of abilities at the beginning, so there isn't much of a problem there, I did play all episodes on CM without problems. Overall this was a nice plat! And like Sora said, "We have to say goodbye for a little while." Popular Post Bahraini_carguy
34th Platinum: GTA Vice City DE (PS4) As a GTA Fan, i can't really stress how much of a disappointment this supposed remaster is. There's some positives, i give it that but for every single positive feature/improvement it has, there's like 500 different issues, bugs, terrible decisions and downgrades. R* really dropped the ball with this Trilogy Remaster which's a shame. Overall, not worth the $60. I never got 100% of gta sa, and planned to get it by playing this remastered eventually, but now I think it would spoil the good memories of great games. rockstar has sabotaged itself with this new edition. Popular Post madbuk
#438 - Trine 2: Complete Story I began this game 7 years ago, before quickly learning that I didn't like it at all. It's slow, it's pretty clunky, the physics puzzles are repetitive, combat is bad, it's buggy... This was one of the PS+ games that helped contribute to making me avoid 2D games entirely until Celeste rekindled my faith in them recently. A couple weeks ago though, I was invited to join in with people co-oping this and I took it as an opportunity to finally rid this game off my backlog and forget about it after so long. In co-op... it's actually not so bad. Definitely far less miserable than it is solo. Co-op introduces new bugs to contend with, which sucks, but there's also so much more flexibility with what you can do in the game as a result of having three people. Can just skip over the vast majority of the tedious physics puzzles by throwing down three anti-gravity bubbles and jumping to the end. It was still challenging because the combat in this game is very bad, but at least we didn't have to waste our time with doing the same puzzles over and over every time we died. It is a relief to finally have this game over with. Trine 3 looks like it might be more to my taste, being 3D, but I'm not going to even bother. I'm done with Trine.

Popular Post Nauticus87
#544 - Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (PS4) Time to 100% complete: 1 week 6 days (~55 hours: 40 as Jack, 10 as Claptrap, 1 each for Wilhelm and Athena, about 10 minutes with Nisha as I had a PS3 Nisha) That's enough Borderlands for now. 16th rarest platinum at 3.65%. Easiest Borderlands with some of the most boring characters to play solo, if not for Doppleganger I'd have played once and called it a day like I did on PS3.

So I will be adding this to my backlog thread. Unfortunately you can no longer get this digitally and finding copies of this game physical can be aggravating since PS3 era titles are getting more difficult to grab at reasonable prices. I thought I bought a bad copy as I had to sit at an installation screen for hours after the game had 21 updates to sift through. But thankfully it managed to download and install them all. For a PS3 game, Gran Turismo 6 looks pretty damn good. I was looking for something to start with in the series. Gran Turismo 5 is difficult on top of being unobtainable, and Gran Turismo Sport is a massive grind. Gran Turismo 6 is really my only option. If this turns out to be like Driveclub then I will be satisfied. I’ve heard nothing but praise for the Gran Turismo franchise and I’m looking forward to playing Gran Turismo 6 when I get around to it.

Unfortunately the updates can pose some issues installing the game, I’ve read of some people having to install them one by one - I think it depends which type of PS3 you have, but luckily I could install them all in one go too, I think it took over 6 hours. It really does look great, especially the changeable time on the world circuits, this was a feature they implemented on GT5 and carried through to GT6, racing into a new day or into the night has a special atmosphere about it. Gameplay is also spot on. Good luck and enjoy!
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 70) IT TAKES TWO POWER COUPLE Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Well this was certainly a surprise. It Takes Two is the second game of the studio that created A Way Out and again the whole game is based on co-operation, or should I say… co-lla-bo-ration! The game can only be played in co-op and the screen is split in half so you can always see what your online co-op partner is doing. A Way Out was fun but the shooting and some of the story parts were very rough. It Takes Two smartly takes a different approach and is an action/puzzle/platformer with more of a fantasy element. It takes some concepts from the previous game but it completely knocks it out of the park in the execution . It’s honestly hard to believe how much this studio has grown in the span of only a single game. The story centers around a couple whose relationship has become so bad that they want to get a divorce. Their daughter makes a wish that they’ll stay together and mom and dad are transported to a magical realm where a talking book will teach them to work together again. The game handles these adult themes very well and it’s really touching to see the main characters get closer to each other again as they are forced to work together to overcome the challenges in the game. They start by mostly bickering and arguing with each other but over time they learn to compliment each other again and start to remember why they fell in love with each other so long ago. The story beats feel very earned and lead to a satisfying finale . The gameplay is simplistic but incredible and it’s all thanks to the great variety in the levels. The levels are fantastically designed and they never wear out their welcome. Once you think you’ve seen everything in a level you are transported to a different one with new gameplay mechanics and a fantastic environment to explore. The game is a lot longer than I thought it would be. By the end, I thought I would have seen everything they could do in a co-op game but I never had a feeling of repetition. The developers go all out with the way you can interact with their environments and you can never tell what is coming next. The bosses are also incredibly designed and make great use of the characters' skills and the environments. The game often gives you and your partner different abilities that you have to use together to solve the puzzles and challenges it throws at you. There are also some minigames thrown in the you can play against each other. Almost all of them are fun and some of them were so cleverly designed that you could make a whole game around them. The only downside I can think of is that this game has no collectibles… something I never thought I would say . The environments are large and open and a lot of fun to explore but it doesn’t really serve a purpose as there are no secrets to be found. Other than that, the game is perfect in my book. I could gush about it all day. A good friend of mine suggested we play it together and it has to be the surprise of the year for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game and would recommend it to anyone! It's the greatest co-op game I have played in a very long time!
