Popular Post cr1s
#583 - Dead Rising 2: Off The Record (PS3) DR2:OTR Trophy Master Acquire all the trophies in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. Game Enjoyment: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 I haven't played a Dead Rising game since I platted Dead Rising 2 back in 2015, so this was long overdue. I enjoyed going back to Fortune City and seeing the changes they've made in this reimagining of the second game (from what I remember, at least). It was just as fun and the platinum is easier and less time-consuming this time. The most notable change is the trophy for killing a certain number of zombies (72,000 in DR2 and 100,000 in OTR), which had a strict time limit in the original game, whereas you can take as much time as you want here. Even better, there's a method that allows you to get those 100,000 zombie kills within less than an hour. Also, DR2's online multiplayer and its associated trophies were replaced with 30 single-player and 30 co-op challenges on which you have to get a gold medal for the platinum here. They were enjoyable, albeit easy for the most part (only a handful took several tries to nail). Huge thanks to @Honor_Hand for playing through the game and doing the co-op challenges with me! I definitely look forward to playing the PS4 version sometime. #584 - MXGP (PS3) MXGP Champion! Unlock all Trophies Game Enjoyment: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2.5/10 One MXGP grind down, one more to go! Another easy platinum from Milestone, but not a short one as that extra 0 largely extended the time it takes to platinum it. I'm grinding the Vita version in-between other games and will have that platinum soon as well. #585 - Gravel Gravel Hero Unlock all trophies Game Enjoyment: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Yup, another Milestone platinum. Their games are a decent change of pace every once in a while. This one focuses on off-road racing and it's nice to see them make different kinds of racing games, even if they're not that good. Thanks to @Honor_Hand for the help with the online multiplayer trophies! #586 - Monster Monpiece Monster Monpiece Master Obtained all the trophies! Game Enjoyment: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 A fun card battle game with an easy platinum that takes a little while since you have to get 500 different cards. The last boss fight requires a good setup, but you still don't need to have the strongest cards for that. Hell, you don't even need to get a big grasp of the gameplay mechanics to obtain the platinum or beat the game, as a general understanding is enough. Doing the multiplayer part first is definitely the way to go since you'll get a lot of Gold, Rub P, and good cards to start off the single-player portion with that way. The game isn't really a text-heavy one (besides the story), so I might stack the Japanese version sometime. It also made me interested in playing Moe Chronicle, so I'll hopefully get to that one in due time. I'm not familiar with this kind of game but had a great time with this one! Popular Post Viscera1900
#325 - Far Cry 6 Conquistador "Unlock all trophies" Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 47 hours / 2 weeks, 6 days (PSNP) My opinion is that Far Cry 6 is the most enjoyable Far Cry game I've ever played. I liked that main character has much bigger role, voice lines & you can see him/her in story cutscenes'; it makes me invest in the story & character more. The game is your typical Ubisoft huge open world game, but not as huge as the recent Assassin's Creed games which is an enormously big plus for me. Trophy wise it's really easy list to complete. Far Cry 6 reminded me why I hated collectibles trophies; this game has atleast 3-4 different kind of those which was annoying to complete. Other than that it was fairly enjoyable list to achieve that Platinum trophy. I had to finish my Far Cry 6 journey with this trophy, since I'm a connoisseur of fine cocks...

ChiefMichigan
#96 Battle Rockets (2.0) My first Vita exclusive platinum, and one of the toughest yet. Granted even the more difficult plats I have are still easy to pretty easy. Don't know how the plat has an 89.82% rating on here. The third mission in particular is really annoying.
Popular Post Cellcrash1991
#58: Gran Turismo 6 Gran Turismo Platinum Trophy Earn all trophies in Gran Turismo 6. I used to play this game a lot on a previous PSN account but when I switched to this one it ended up somewhere in a dusty corner for whatever reason. But a few months ago I visited a friend and he was playing GT6 and the nostalgia got me so I started to play it again. The trophies were easier than I could remember, even the Autobarmy trophy (travel 12.718km / 7.903miles) wasn't really a grind. The only trophy that got somewhat on my nerves was to get gold in every S-license test. What the S-5 test also taught me was to never, ever buy a Bugatti Veyron. With that bad cornering I couldn't get even out of my own driveway. ? But with a lot of patience, watching youtube vid's and a lot of practicing I finally got it! The only trophy left is the one to get gold in every Ayrton Senna Tribute event in the Ayrton Senna Tribute DLC. Wich basically means to beat the qualification times of the legend himself. So, nope, ain't gonna happen. ? Edited December 4, 2021 by Cellcrash1991

Popular Post AsheRebel
Platinum #145 Knack 2 Platinum #146 Knack My bestie @AsheBurns wanted me to platinum both knack games on my birthday (4 December) and I sadly missed out by 3 minutes but still it was a fun challenge. I enjoyed Knack 2 way more than Knack 1 specially the coop features. Knack 1 felt tedious and so simple considering the fact I played Knack 2 first. I preordered Knack 2 but I never got around playing these fun games so this lil challenge helped me clean up these 2 games. Will definitely recommend others to try Knack 2 specially in coop mode. madbuk
#442 - 428: Shibuya Scramble It has been... almost 2 years since I first played this, I think? Originally I wasn't planning on stacking it due to how long it was and the bonus content.. not really being very good. Recently though on Discord, a server was doing a "game of the month" type thing, and this was the chosen one, and I saw it as a perfect excuse to replay this amazing game again. The bonus content really isn't as bad as I remember it being, and the main story - while not as engaging since I've played it before - was still very entertaining and enjoyable to relive. Once again my interest in the (supposedly bad) anime sequel to this game is piqued, but it remains elusive. You search up a service to watch it on (like Amazon) and they send you to a page for it then say it's not available... Happens with basically every show, tbh. Regardless, this is a very well written VN that deserves far more attention than it received, it's such a great blend of seriousness, humour, drama, mystery... and really unique as well - it's not an FMV, but it's real people unlike the typical anime art style VNs go with. Never played anything else quite like it.

Popular Post Viper
#253 NieR: Automata Final Words Wow...just...wow. What a game. I saw that there was a hefty group of people who either really loved this game or out right hated it. I'm definitely part of the former. Probably one of the best RPG's I've played in a long time! From the fun combat, to the way the game switches between Third person RPG to 2D Side scroller to Bullet Hell flight battles in seamless transitions, I was always mesmerized seeing it in action. And it never feels forced or unwarranted, you actually play to get to these moments because you look forward to the switch up. The biggest plus I have to give this game is the way it handles its multiple playthroughs. 99% of all games that make you play through it more than once, you're literally just experiencing the same exact game all over again...but while this game makes you play it 3 times, each playthrough is different from the last as you're seeing things from the eyes of a different character. with playthrough 3 being like a whole post story....story. So you never really get that fatigue because you're still doing something new each time. The story was really good too. It's a bit non-sensical in the first playthrough...but it really opens up in Routes B and C. Really makes you feel for these androids and humanity alike. Also didn't mind going through 26 different endings, it's a good thing most of them were short little joke endings. Also the music in this game is fantastic. I'm not someone who pays a lot of attention to video game music. But every once in awhile a game comes around where it's very important to the actual game itself...and this is one of those, it sets the stage for every moment. Also this game is notorious for having an in-game store where you can literally buy trophies with in game currency. I DID NOT do this! I almost bought the one for leveling up all weapons because I didn't want to farm for the materials I needed...but I pushed through and did it anyways, added about 12 hours of playtime to my total, but I feel better about it. But I still feel with any RPG like this, once we're that far into the game...just give us a store where we can buy every material we need...having to farm simple gadgets just padded the play time that wasn't needed. Overall this was great, had a blast with it. Never did play the original game...might look into NieR: Replicant. Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #105 - Beat Cop (NA version) Platinium - Platinium 409 Owners - 47 Achievers for a percentage of 11.49% (average completion; 22.03%) Enjoyment; 7/10 Difficulty; 1/10 Trophies; 7/10 (Lots of hidden missables, fair bit of humor, but a little crass) I can't see the broken lights; 10/10 Just 49 achievers on this one, meaning that I've (hopefully) immortalized myself on the leaderboard as one of the first fifty people to achieve Platinum on this version of Beat Cop - a pixel-art styled game that has you fill the boots of a police officer as you keep a street in 1986 New York safe from criminals, terrorists, and - most often - its own denizens. Developed by an indie outfit operating out of Poland, Beat Cop has you fill the boots of Jack Kelly, a former detective framed for the theft of a set of diamonds from a senator's office. Demoted to a beat downtown, you not only have to reach your daily parkin ticket quota but also untangle the conspiracy that led to your downfall and locate the missing diamonds to clear your name.... or not, as there are various endings to the game that you can unlock based on your standing with the game's three factions; the police department of precinct 69 (hah), the Tataglia mafia family operating out of Louie's Pizzeria, and the African American Crew gang operating out of a pawn shop on the Eastern end of the street. How you tackle various requests from these groups and deal with the crimes that plague the street will ultimately let you escape your beat in a fair few different ways. While there is only one rather short street featured in the game, the pixel art style really, realy shines through with pedestrians going about their lives, cars chugging by, and pigeons flying overhead - with some neat visual gags here and there. It's simple, but gorgeous. I paid two Dollars (I think) for this on the American PSN store and got a really fun Platinum (called Platinium, maybe I'm missing a joke there) in return that will take you about twelve hours and 1.5 playthroughs if you're careful and mop up the many missable Trophies throughout your first run. These mostly boil down to selecting the right options in the various small scenarios you run into every day, as well as being at the right place at the right time. They range from the banal (feeding a dog doughnuts) to the downright bizarre (a man threatening self-immolation), but with the option to reload a day and replay just a few minutes in case you fail, things never get really frustrating. The game lasts 21 in-game days provided you don't hit a game over screen halfway through, and each day lasts about ten real life minutes albeit with the timer stopping whenever you engage someone in conversation. Gameplay boils down to running to the correct part of the street to talk to whomever you're being directed towards and selecting the right dialogue options, while also slapping tickets on cars that are parked incorrectly, have rundown tires, or have broken lights. In the event a driver catches you handing out a ticket, you can take bribes from them (running the risk of being found out). It's all very simple and straightforward stuff - dead simple too hence the 1/10 difficulty - but remains engaging thanks to the game's wit. There are some questionable choices in terms of language and some of the more smut-based jokes (one of the stores on the block deals in pornography, and it gets milked for all its worth), but the writing never overstays its welcome. Having to repeat half a playthrough for one ending does feel like a bit of a chore at the end, but I couldn't get too mad over it. Despite these minor faults, I will highly recommend the game to anyone willing to listen - especially considering how low its price gets during sales. It's heavily inspired by 80's culture and rife with references to movies stemming from that era (one of the Trophies is a direct nod to Top Gun, for example), which is just another factor in how charming Beat Cop can be when not leaning to heavily on adult humor (there are two particularly disgusting events involving the local preacher which just made me cringe rather than laugh). If you think it'd be fun to play a copper for a few hours, whack this game onto your wishlist and keep an eye out for the next price drop. And with both an American and European version available, you can Plat this bad boy twice! I know I probably will a few years from now just to relive some of the laughs.

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#165 It Takes Two It Takes Two is an only co-op experience made by the same team from A Way Out. You play as either May or Cody, a couple who are getting a divorce. However, their distressed child does not want that, gets sad, cries about it and her magical tears transforms her parents into a wooden (May) and clay (Cody) doll version of themselves. From there, they traverse through many different environments to restore their bodies back with the help of an evil book that wants to fix their relationship. Story was nothing to write home about which had lots of character tropes and cliches but the game design, puzzle elements and environment were really creative and fun to explore. Plus there were so many interactive objects, some of which can be misused in the wrong hands Spoiler There's really not much to talk about It Takes Two other than that it's a great pastime for playing together with a buddy or a significant other. With that said, can't wait to see what the devs will make using the same co-op formula for their next game. Onto the next!
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #677: Difficulty: 1/10 Playtime: 2-3 hours I like ya, game; I always liked ya. You were always the best of 'em... the best indie single session spiritual licensee of The Shining to yet grace the console market, that is! Oh, sure, it may feature fewer blood elevators (...well, it might elevate your blood, but that's neither here nor there), creepy dog costumes, and screaming Shelley Duvalls being gaslighted by borderline sociopathic movie directors... but hey, at least the risk of contracting gout from one Jackanapes Nicholson's Meatpacking District city block level hamminess drastic go down. Not to bury the lead, however... despite owing much of its essence to the aforementioned horror masterpiece, The Suicide of Rachel Foster is quite capable of providing a unique "haunted (or is it?) hotel in a snowstorm" experience all its own. Set in the picturesque mountains of Montana (indubitably a first for video games, as indicated by the hypnotic piano patterns of one George Winston remaining the state's only claim to fame), it conveys a deep and layered story concerning... well, just read the title there. In a small town like East Fumblebuck, MT, tragedies such as this leave immeasurable scars that never fully heal. The owners of the town hotel were heavily involved, shattering more than one family as a result. Upon her parents' passing, the hotel passes into the ownership of their daughter, who wants nothing more to sell the place and move on with her life. But a haunted past is not so easily left behind... a mysterious hotel phone call during a "last look" prompts our snarky protagonist to delve deeper into the tangled mystery of Rachel's death. It's an engaging yarn with some gutwrenching twists and turns, and a lingering atmosphere of pain and obsession. The story beats can be a little predictable at times, but eh. The Firewatch-esque "choose your own witty quip" dialogue do try to keep things on an even tonal keel, but the balance between gameplay and dialogue is not as good as it might've been. All talk and no play makes AK something something... Gotta say though, just being able to wander around a game world like this is worth the price of admission. Despite its intermittent state of disrepair, the Timberline Hotel is a beautifully envisioned setting filled with small details that bring it to life, up to and including the prerequisite creepy Native American mini-museum... the shader work on the various bits of lacquered woodwork is especially impressive considering its budget. No indie asset flip jank here; this was made with all the care and artisanship of a real high quality vintage hotel from decades past. It really ties the whole experience together, and I'm not just talking about the familiar-looking carpeting on the first floor.... Despite occasionally succumbing to some of the less charming tropes of the "walking simulator" genre (we still don't have a less condescending term for it these days?), The Suicide of Rachel Foster is an engrossing wintry mystery made with pride and skill sure to provide the odd chill, if you will... ya get it? Because snow, and stuff?!? Augh, they don't pay me enough for this... Final Score: 7.5/10
Popular Post GarciaFever
#211 Neptunia X Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars This is by far the best Neptiunia game I have ever played. Everything is simple and straightforward in terms of trophies, and the collectables are easy to track. I kept on using Noire for the whole game because she is the best girl (for me anyways lol). The last 3 bosses were a pain in the ass because of how they kept on running away whenever I tried to get closer to them, but thankfully I managed to defeat them after several hours of farming certain Spirit Gems in the Yomi Training. I definitely recommend this game to any Neptunia fans out there that own a PS4.

Your goal is simple: get to the top of the mountain by gaining feathers, which up your stamina. If you need something to up your mood, or a palette cleanser from a really long or annoying plat, then I absolutely recommend A Short Hike.
