Popular Post smsyx
#6 - Tricky Towers (1.04%) I found this game incredibly stressful due to the heavy RNG needed for some of the trophies. It would have to be an 8/10 in difficulty for me personally just due to how infuriating the game can be during the harder levels. P.S. I'm pretty bad at this game so I'm happy I got it done!

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#576 - AI Somnium Files Probably the best VN alongside with Danganronpa, from the ones I played so far. This one being fully voiced was a major plus, otherwise I would not have enjoyed it nearly s much. Still it ended up dragging out a bit with some of the different routes ending up being very similar with just a few points of additional information. The somnium aspect was interesting enough, even though some of the somniums were just annoying to get through, in particular almost all of the later ones. Popular Post MissShake
#80: Stardew Valley Iridium Seal This priceless treasure is the mark of a truly great farmer! Grandpa lives inside... I finally have it. My white whale. For years and years I have been playing Stardew Valley. Nothing feels quite as comforting and peaceful as starting up a new farm and building your own (virtual) life in the country. I always wanted to have the plat for this gem of a game, but one challenge always ruined this: Journey of the Prairie King. I have never been the best at bullet hell games, so this little mini game stood as a huge wall that just seemed impossible to climb. Then an update brought the ability to save your progress. I was probably a bit too cautious, I would immediately save after every room clear by heading to bed and continuing the next in-game day. Lemme tell ya, if you aren't a king (or queen) of bullet hell, this is absolutely the best way to go for this plat. Even with the saves, this game is tough. It's easy to be overwhelmed, and you really have to get lucky with your item drops or you're toast. Beating this without dying should not be a silver trophy. ...I sure am talking a lot about Prairie King, aren't I? Well, that's because it's far and away the toughest part of this plat. I said that Stardew was a relaxing time, and for me that includes the rest of the trophies. Sure, many of them are RNG based like having two kids and those damn artifacts, but there's so much in the game that you can just get lost in it. Getting to know the characters, expanding your farm, and all of the additions that updates brought are so fun! Who knows, you might come back even after getting this Ultra Rare in your collection! I plan to... But on PC, with mods and through multiplayer with my buddies. Don't plan on touching Journey of the Prairie King in that save, that's for sure~
RaiantheMajin
I managed to get the platinum in Freedom Wars. It looks like I was not the only one to do so. So many others are getting the platinum this month. The PS Vita is showing its age, but I loved the game. Despite its difficulty spikes, I managed to beat the final boss without respawning. I just camped at the entrance with a healing thicket and blasted away with the Dragon Fire + and Barbara's Easy Blaster P. Even though there are only three online trophies, playing online helped cut down on the grind. Farming Code 8 helped me get the level 10 Phalanx for the DIY Demon trophy. I managed to even have zero years on my sentence. I managed to get the co-op trophies in Soul Sacrifice Delta, but I am not at a high enough level to join the level 15 difficulty rooms. I may not make it before the servers shut down, but I did what I could online. I would have hopped on sooner, but I had exams earlier this month. Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #700 Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot All Seven Dragon Balls Edition Milestone 700th Uncommon: 39.61% Difficulty: 4/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 10/10. Music: 8/10. Story Mode: 9/10. Play Time: 26 hours and 58 minutes. Genre: Fighting, Adventure, Action, RPG, Hack and Slash, Beat em up, Fantasy, Science Fiction and Open World. Grind Difficulty: 6/10. Platinum Time: 2 days and 3 hours. Story Mode/Introduction: I am a huge fan to the Dragon Ball Series and what I liked about Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is that shows the detail origin story of how it all began and how it all ended completely. I really enjoyed the story very well and it was damn good. The challenges was exactly right on the money and I knew it would happened eventually. I am a fast learner and learnt all the basic and advance controls very quickly and know what I needed to do from start to finished. The open world really shown a very nice and perfect environmental touch to everything in the game whether it's sidequests, story mode, facing tough bastard monsters and more. Things went a little difficult for me from the start when I was a low level rank rookie but when I picked up the pace very quickly I know which placed I needed to trained which I'll explain more below. Fast Training Level/Transformations/Z Orbs: Gaining the needed levels for the characters I had to do mostly after completing the story mode was on Beerus Planet. Those sacred waters were very fast and extremely efficiently fucking good that I needed to boost my characters level very quickly in order to defeat the new boss Mira. In truth, the higher difficulty you faced Whis the better and faster you received sacred waters at a very alarming fast xp. The Ultimate Sacred Water gives 1.5m xp so fast that'll make your trained look like nothing but doing so you'll need to be at Level 150 or higher when choosing the "Supreme Kai" Difficulty. I used Goku and his Ultimate Spirit Bomb technique to vaporize Whis many times until I get plenty of Ultimate Sacred Waters. It's highly and strongly recommend to do that before facing Mira the new boss. I defeated Mira when I obtained Super Saiyan God Form after I defeated Beerus. Mira was so weak he looked like he needed to trained more to defeated me if wanted to win. I didn't know much about Z Orbs after I completed the story. From what I heard it utilizes and uses to power your attacks, defences, transformations and more even further which was needed for the three trophies I needed to get em all. I farmed Z Orbs when I was at my higher class level around 200+ and crashing all those pathetic creatures into the oblivion. I tested not just Super Saiyan God Form but also Super Saiyan Blue as well. I chose Super Saiyan God form for one of the trophies I needed to do have and I thought it would looked so cool getting the screenshot to it because it has the red flame aura and flare sparkling design to it. Final statement: It took me a significant amount of time to grind out everything I needed to do and get the job done. Man the stories just proves it has everything I needed and figured not just the story mode but also know how to fast track ALL of it in the game. I feel fucking good and ecstatic by this awesome game I bought. Now I am happy right now and that is enough. Platinum Trophy and All Seven Dragon Balls Edition! Spoiler Super Saiyan God Form! Spoiler Z Combo Zealot Trophy! Spoiler I am very satisfied that I chose this game as my 700th platinum milestone and All Seven Dragon Balls Edition as well. Highly and strongly recommend this game! Mr_Wright95
Platinum 98 Concrete Genie Difficulty: 1/10 Fun: 6/10 This game took a while to grab me, but once I got my head around it, I enjoyed it from that point on. These style of games are not normally my cup of tea, but I had heard good things and wanted to see what others had described to me as a beautiful story game. By the end of the game I definitely felt like the experience had been worth my time and the story was quite wholesome. The controls are a bit cumbersome and it takes a while to understand the premise, but overall for what this game was going for, I feel like it achieved its goal. This game is visually stunning in its own way, the artistic approach makes a dreary setting quite vibrant and once you unlock the rollerblades navigating the city is so much fun. This is a game I am glad I stuck it out with, its worth playing if you have not already.
Mr_Wright95
Platinum 99 The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk Difficulty 3/10* Fun 3/10 This game nearly derailed my goal of 100 Platinum' before Christmas. With so many trophies being missable following a guide was needed to platinum this game in one playthrough, yet I still missed a trophy. The trophy I missed meant a full second playthrough was needed, so out of sheer stubbornness I did the whole playthrough in one sitting last night so I could still achieve my goal. The game as a whole is more of the same of the first game, it still has its charm, but ultimately it was pretty boring to get through. Regardless I enjoyed the story of Robert the Wind Monk. If another game comes out for this series, I will probably give it a go, but hopefully not for a little while.

Popular Post madbuk
#445 - Final Fantasy VII Finally, after 6 years I have managed to finish a second Final Fantasy. I've played X and XIII too but dropped both. This was also one I had originally dropped (5 years ago... time flies) but not because of the game - for some reason, the game kept constantly crashing, and considering there's no autosave, that just made the experience absolutely miserable. Recently though, I was browsing the PS Now library for something to play, and after seeing so many FFs lined up in a row I got the urge to finally cleanup one of the ones that has sat unfinished for such a long time. I've also been playing Trails in the Sky on Steam recently (PC gaming, scary), and that also helped get me in the mood to play a JRPG that actually has trophies. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving my time with Sky so far, but it just feels so weird to be playing on PC - I'd be all over a console port day 1. The game didn't suffer from a single crash this time I played it, downloading from PS Now instead of my own copy. Maybe there's some kind of weird regional issues going on because I own it on my NA account instead of my main. Now that I've finally gotten around to finishing this game, my overall thoughts are... it's okay. Definitely not one that struck me as one of the greatest games of all time like people hype it up to be - the balancing on the superbosses is just ridiculous considering you health caps at 9999, and a lot of the characters feel like they just stop existing after a certain point. The story was fairly decent, although there are some parts that didn't feel explained very well (I'm thinking of one section in particular...) and it was also paced pretty well. One gripe I do have is that although I was following a guide (plenty of missables in this one), I couldn't help but notice how utterly random some of the main story progression is. At one point for example, you have to visit a town completely isolated from anywhere you've been before and the game gives absolutely 0 indication that that is your next stop to continue the story. There was multiple moments like that, honestly. I can't say I'm a fan of the combat in this overall, the ATB system means that you sometimes have no time to stop and think about what you're doing (especially during the more powerful bosses), because enemies are still able to attack you while you're deciding unlike traditional turn based. And you also can't dodge attacks either while you study your opponent like you can in an action-based JRPG series like Tales of. That's one of the reasons I dislike and never finished XIII too, really I recently saw realm722 post about how the remake is one of his favourite games ever, and that definitely has me intrigued. I think I'd enjoy the more fleshed out world that spans multiple games rather than this one and done experience, tbh. That's part of what I love about Trails - you get to see character growth because they really take the time they need to fully establish the world, lore, and characters since they have 4 whole games to do so (even more if you consider the other story arcs set in that world.) Considering FFVIIIR is only Midgar (I think?), I can only imagine how much more depth the characters will have by the time they finally reach the end. I'm not going to play it immediately (I can't even download it because lol 85GB), but it's definitely in the plans for the future (especially considering PS+ gave me it.)

Popular Post Moridin83
#183 Outriders Picked this up on a recent sale to play with friends. The story is not revolutionary, but it gets the job done. People Can Fly's humor shines through in places. It's not full-on Bulletstorm level (of humor or crudity), but there are some really good moments. An early sidequest where you're supposed to rescue an allied combatant had me laughing out loud at the end, and let's just say that villain monologuing gets put in it's rightful place ?. Plat isn't difficult, but 100% takes some additional work, due to needing expedition tier 12 for "Just Take the Pod". If it's on sale, and you have someone to play it with, well worth a buy. #184 Dragon Audit This one is really short. The whole game can be beat in an hour, and you could theoretically plat it in that time as well (It took me a little over 2 hours). However, I'd suggest a blind playthrough first, or you're depriving yourself of much of the fun of this title. The humor is quirky, and there's no fail state, so have fun with it once, then come back and clean up. The graphics won't win any awards, but for the $5 I paid on sale, I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
