Popular Post B1rvine
Darksiders Genesis Not Alone The game feels like Diablo II, Darksiders Edition. The game is decent, but there's a few bugs, notably that your character falls through / gets stuck in the environment way too often. Also, I guess this game doesn't have a BFA achievement, whatever that meant anyway. Enjoyment : 7.9 / 10.0 Difficulty : 4 / 10 Edited February 6, 2022 by B1rvine

I still have Darksiders II to play so if anything it will be a long time before I get around to Genesis. I do enjoy some Diablo II clone style games so maybe Genesis isn't too bad.

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#170 - 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim What a mouthful of a title to say out loud, but this game was a pure delight to experience. I really cannot say much without spoiling the story but I'll just say that not everything is at it seems... The overall arch of the game is centered on the theme of humanity and their attributes (jealousy, love, ambition, greed, etc.) but with tons of Sci-Fi elements. You play as 13 highschoolers in a fashion that is similar to 428 Shibuya Scramble or Zero Escape Time Dilemma, where you get locked out of a character at a certain plot point before progressing any further with them until you meet certain requirements with other characters. This style of "jumpy" storytelling felt very rewarding as you piece together the events of the game and how the characters are connected to one another. Not to mention, the lack of filler where every scene has a purpose, something that cannot be said with every VN out there. There are three modes in this game: - Story mode. It's exactly as it sounds. What makes this unique from other VNs is that you control characters' movement ala Tell Tale style with beautifully drawn backdrops. Sure it's limited but it was a nice diversion from just pressing X to continue . - Analysis mode. Here is where you take a breather after each story event and read the new unlocked files/events to piece together what's happening. - Destruction mode: Here is where you enter giant mecha robots and compose/upgrade a team of the aforementioned highschoolers to fight against hordes of enemies in a strategic turn based battle system. With all that said, if you're a fan of VNs and enjoyed games like the Steins; gate series, Zero escape and 428 shibuya scramble, then 13 sentinels is simply a no brainer. It's been a while since I played a great VN so this was nice while it lasted. Anyway, onto the next!
Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#183 Fallout 3 + 100% Platinum Trophy Collect all other 50 Trophies for this Trophy The first time I played Fallout 3 was over 12 years ago when I was (but still am) a PC gamer. I started playing Bethesda games with Oblivion and despite all the bugs and glitches I love them. My only regret is that while Skyrim has 4 different versions, they have never done a Fallout 3 remastered. Too bad Enjoyment: 9/10
Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 247! Dark Souls III The Dark Soul Finally an official "souls" game in my profile, after Bloodborne and a couple of similar games (three stacks of Salt and Sanctuary and two stacks of Hollow Knight ). And I liked every single moment of my first run, looking for items, hidden enemies, secret locations, etc. I'm not an expert about the game building, so I simply upgraded the stats that I thought were important (ignoring faith and intelligence, but the item discovery went to Lv. 71 in NG++! ), and the same thing about weapons and armors, so I used the weapons that I found good, like the Irithhyll sword +5 (that I used for almost the entire runs), sometimes switching with the Refined Claymore +10. The soundtrack is amazing, and it seems even better of Bloodborne (just my point of view, I simply liked much more the DS3 ost instead of BB ost... ). Just listen to Abyss Watchers, Dragonslayer Armor, Twin Princes, Soul of Cinder, etc... And I was really surprised when I saw that, among the composers, there were also Motoi Sakuraba, the one who creates the Tales of soundtracks! Then you have to replay teh game twice in order to acquire all the rings and speel, and some of them appear only during NG+ and NG++. And also some of them are locked behind the Covenant rewards, which means you have to grind a lot of dropped items (x30) which have a very ridiculous drop %, so I spent a lot of time in Anor Londo and Cartus' Catacombs. And finally I obtained my platinum trophy in the prison tower of Anor Londo! I'll surely go for for the two previuos games, and Elden Ring!

Popular Post Katt
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection Ultimate Hero Earn all trophies and prove yourself as the ultimate hero. Thanks for this, Capcom. Because I would never buy a DS. I had a lot of fun watching some replays in Z Chaser and asking myself "how!?". I managed to get the last S Rank by mere 5 secs. But what if these games were developed for more powerful platforms in the day? I mean, they are fun, but they are inferior to X4~6 in 2D design... *thinking about Azure Striker and Gunvolt Chronicles* ok, nevermind. So.... Megaman X9 never? don't @ me.

Popular Post Cellcrash1991
#61: Battlefield 4 Platinum Trophy Collect all other Battlefield 4™ Trophies I've never played Battlefield 4 before and at first it felt a little weird with that points system in each mission but actually it's not too hard. There was only 1 part I was struggling with but that was solved when I found out I could use a tank aswell. ? The online portion of the game is fairly easy aswell although you have to boost some game modes because servers are dead (aside from Conquest, Domination and Rush)
Popular Post Silocia
- True Phantom Thief This is my third Persona platinum and the first "spin off" I've played. I wasn't going to play any of the side games and only play the main titles, however, since Strikers came out on PS+ I thought I would give it a go. Let me just say, that this game has completely changed my mind and I now want to go back and do Persona 4 Dancing and Persona 5 Dancing. Thankfully, if the rumours are to be believed Atlus are porting Persona 3 and Persona 4 dancing over to the PS4 so I might just be able to add them to my collection. Back to Strikers, as usual the story is really good, unfortunately the combat wasn't for me. I prefer the traditional turn based combat, although I do enjoy Musou style games I just couldnt get to grips with it in the persona world. Controlling Joker, breaking the flow of combat to use your persona and then jumping back and forth between the other characters all the while the AI using their attacks was just a little overwhelming and often times hard to see what was going on. Never the less, I pushed on, started getting to grips with the it and truly enjoyed my time with the game. Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #541: Laser League (PS4) One of the Easier Ultra Rare Platinum's. Servers are closing down on the 28th of this month. Took me 32 hours of actual play time (+5-6 hour of waiting). The game is much faster with a group. Doable Solo, Smash Trophy might be hard to pull off against 3 AI. Only needed to boost Smash Trophy. Spoiler Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Time: 32 Hours of Play Time
Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #60 Assassins Creed Origins Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoy: 8.5/10 This is my first platinum this year, considering that i'm having less time for videogames lately. Even though AC origins is not better than the Ezio trilogy, it has been the best entry of the franchise I have played ever since then. I like ancient Egypt, Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, ect, also exploring the surrounding with predators chasing you: Lions, leopard, hyenas, and crocodiles. Also the Hypopotamus, but theoretically they are not predators. I loved the story and also liked the main characters, perhaps I like Aya a little bit more than Bayek. I also enjoyed the visit to Rome in the end, like returning to the city after AC Brotherhood.

It's a decent game with no big names except the cover stars. It was disappointing as my favourite players like Federer and Djokovic weren't there. No trophy was hard and even the luck based ones are doable with right methods however the career trophies were a boring grind as it got repetitive real quick. If you are into tennis games and like to platinum them then sure go ahead however I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking to play for fun due to the lack of big name players and average game environment. Oh yes! I wanted to play this. Congrats to you! Very cool plat!
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#399 - Saints Row: The Third Kingpin Unlock all Trophies in Saints Row®: The Third™ Remastered. I originally played this game back on Xbox 360, and I figured it would be an even better experience now that it's on PS5, but unfortunately the port of this game is horrendous. Right off the bat I could tell something was wrong with how the game looked. The HDR implementation is very poor as it makes things way darker than they should be. I could barely see anything at nighttime. Now there is an option to turn HDR off, but for some stupid reason, it reset itself every time I booted up the game. And speaking of, that's something I had to do a lot because of how often the game crashes, or I'd experience some other issue that forced me to close the game. Playing in co-op amplifies this annoyance because if my friend crashed, it would fail whatever mission or activity we were doing and we'd have to restart from the beginning. Sometimes this happened multiple times in the same mission. There were other glitches I experienced too like getting stuck inside a building or whatever, but the worst one is when the trophy for getting all the collectibles didn't pop and I was forced to reload from an earlier save. It popped the second time I tried it thankfully, but it's frustrating that I had to do that again in the first place. I also had a lot of trouble getting a certain NPC to appear in one of the assassination missions despite fulfilling all the requirements which I can only assume was another problem with this remaster. Oh, and one of the main antagonists also has a messed up face texture in every cutscene they appeared in. Even putting aside all the glitches and crashes I experienced, I'm just not a fan of what they did to the character models. They look more realistic, sure, but I much preferred the more stylised look of the original game. It's a shame that they messed up this remaster so badly, because there's a genuinely good game underneath it all. I did have fun with it for the brief periods of time things were stable. This 3rd entry in the series isn't as over the top as the later games, but it still has plenty of goofiness which I appreciate. The trophy list isn't so bad either. Just some grinding needed to complete the challenges and what not. Thanks to @Redgrave for playing through it with me. Let's play something less broken next time. ? I would have liked to spoke more about the game itself in this post, but the bad quality port overshadowed my experience. I can't speak for the PS4 version, but do yourself a favour and avoid playing the PS5 version of this game. It's not good.

Omelette Paradise
#535 - I Saw Black Clouds This was an interesting FMV game to say the least. Interesting in that it's poorly edited and the acting is mostly horrendous. There's some enjoyment to be had in the cheesiness of the low budget shlock horror but it's a game probably better played with a friend and a drink or two. Not one of Wales Interactive's best efforts.
Popular Post RoxasOnFire
Platinum 327: Persona 4 Golden 3/10 with a guide This is my second time getting this plat. I love the story, the battles are classic jrpg style and the game is just full of things to do. The downside is having to rush a full second playthrough for one new persona and a secret boss at the very end of the game but it's still worth it for a decent jrpg. The first time I got the plat on another region it took me 3 long as pkaythroughs because I messed up one small thing so stick to the guide if you want to avoid an extra mass of hours.
