Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #112 - Grand Theft Auto III King of Liberty City - Unlock all trophies. 55,413 Owners - 9,202 Achievers for a percentage of 16.61% (average completion; 24.72%) Enjoyment; 7/10 Difficulty; 3/10 (Offroad challenges were annoying) Trophies; 6/10 (straightforward list making good use of key art for icons) Pets-overnight.com; 10/10 The second of three Plats in quick succession for me, and this one's a real blast from the past; the PS2 port of Grand Theft Auto III, including Playstation 2 title screen still included and all, with Trophies enabled and no horrible 'Defintive Edition' upgrades applied. Never did get this on discount, so had to buy the Trilogy for 35 Euro after Rockstar announced its delisting (which kindly saved me from having to buy the 'improved' version). Going from PS2 to PS3 I found it extremely strange that accelerating and braking in vehicles was now assigned to R2 and L2 respectively rather than to Cross and Square as the GTA games had taught me, but over a decade later it was equally strange to transition back to the classic control scheme. Not that I had trouble with it after the first few minutes, but III is definitely a little dated compared to everything that came after it. You can't rotate the camera with R3, aiming feels a little off, and there is no map whatsoever on the pause screen, leaving you to make-do with just the minimap on the HUD. Less than ideal, especially when you consider that the infamous Espresso-2-Go mission tasks you with visiting all three districts of Liberty City on a very strict time limit. Game design is similarly primitive, but then this was the first and definitive 3D open world game, which laid the groundwork for pretty much every title in the series and genre since. I can forgive the missions being mostly lacklustre as a result, with very basic and same-y objectives, which is made easier by all the character and - dare I say it - soul that Rockstar put in this game. From the characters to the dialogue to the radio to the city itself, everything is top-notch and that's coming from someone who has no great nostalgia for this game (I massively prefered Liberty City Stories and almost exclusively played that over III). Sure, the Defintive Edition that released recently added in modern features such as a... uh, well, a functional pause screen map for one, plus GPS routes, a weapon wheel, better driving and combat controls, and 'better' graphics, but the original still holds up well enough after 20 years that the eccentricities of its era are very easily forgiven. I'm extremely happy to recommend the game as a result, but seeing as it has been delisted and was - to my knowledge - never available physically, you may have to settle for the expensive new version. Now what numbered title came after GTA III.... Edited February 28, 2022 by Golem25

Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
Soulslike February ends on such a high note. Nobody Expects The Spanish Inquisition: The Game The Penitent One Rarity: 15.01% Bought Blasphemous when it came out pretty much a couple years ago but I chickened out as soon as I realized it had one of those very complex, easily missable lists where a slight mistake will have you 100%ing the game from scratch all over again. Usually these are the platinums I personally struggle with the most, I can take a challenging platinum, but whenever a convoluted list shows up is when the headaches begin. Now of course, I regret putting it on hold for all this time. Blasphemous was a blast! (blastphemous?) And now, one of my favorites of these past few years! It puts the 'Holy' in Holy shit, Blasphemous won't shy away from harassing your senses with its very dark, often cryptic, hypnotizing imagery and with its unapologetically brutal gameplay. Not everything is praises, of course, it's labyrinthic nature will get the best of you at certain points, and a couple of the boss fights are, for the lack of better terminologies... dogshit (both human bosses are awful). Platinum wise it wasn't that bad. Seems like the tedium was exaggerated, I managed to get everything without a problem. I didn't miss anything but even if you do miss something (chances are you will, I guess I was lucky) there's NG+ to continue with your 100% hunt. Just keep in mind, collectibles will still be a pain in the ass. Oh and the trophy for beating all bosses without healing? Yeah, it's going to be though, but very doable. Game Rating: 9/10 Platinum Difficulty: 6/10 Time to Platinum: 20-25 hours (the time depends on how good you are at managing saves and missables) Fun for the whole fucking family.

Popular Post Eagles_Numba_One
Furi was my most recent platinum I loved it when it came out in 2016, but never got really good at it Came back to it in 2019 and got all the speed runs and furi difficulty done, but furier difficulty was just too hard to do. I though this would be a platinum I could never earn but I remembered how much I loved the the game and decided I wanted to play it again. I must've gotten better over the years because I tried furier again and everything clicked for me and I was able to get the platinum. Super proud of this one.
Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 108 The Last of Us Part II Every Last One of Them Alright finally done with this game. The gameplay is pretty good, like way better that the first one. Like how enemy react to most of the stuff that is happening in the world. Other then that the accessible for this game is pretty insane with all the available option. This kidna can make the game super easy or super hard. But in the end the story still not my cup of tea. I agreed with most of the player out there regarding the story. Feel like there is better way to end this. But guess that is Naughty Dog decision to making the story like this. Other then that the Grouded mode really is harded, but not as hard as the first one since we still can use the glitch Extra menu to play though it. But still is pretty hard in a way with parmadeath option but still okay. IHave fun playing this game whilei it last. Now time to move on to other game

Popular Post reaperveteran86
Platinum #250 Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (EU/PS4) Adventurer Extraordinaire - 18,25% I think, I like this one more than Monstrum Nox (which I also liked a lot). The isle of Seiren felt more varied and colorful than the city of Balduq and its gray dungeons. The story had also higher stakes in my opinion and I think I found my female protagonist/character of the year in Dana Iclucia.
Popular Post Charizarzar
#150 Cyberpunk 2077 Never Fade Away Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 It felt like a long time coming, but it's finally done. This game is almost as controversial as TLOUII, but with the cool plat title I was interested in having it for a milestone, and being a big Deus Ex fan I've been wanting to check it out for a while. My PS5 arrived just as I was finishing off the trophies so my final hour or so in the game was pretty magnificent, but before that I'd been putting up with horrible load times, faceless, janky, PS1-esque NPCs, and many, many audio glitches (best of luck trying to follow a conversation with a passenger in your car). You get used to it after a point but it definitely marred the experience. The character paths of Street Kid, Corpo and Nomad were also disappointing. I decided to switch from Street Kid to Corpo not long after I started to give V a darker background, but after the prologue your choice is mainly just used as fluff for conversations and doesn't impact the story or relationships in any real way. Speaking of relationships, there was a lot of potential there. But if you aren't playing as a straight male or a lesbian you're out of luck, as there's a noticeable imbalance between the effort put into the female characters, Panam and Judy, and the two male ones, River and Kerry. This didn't affect me much as Panam was just an obvious choice as soon as my V met her, but it's still a shame since the last two are barely even involved in the ending. After your singular, slightly awkward first-person sex scene (the one with Panam left me slightly stunned as it was wilder than I was expecting), your relationship is basically reduced to a few texts and phone calls that eventually fizzle out. You can't even take them out on a date! ? What was maybe the most disappointing was the lack of life in the open world. Pedestrians don't really react to you (even sometimes if you ram into them), and even after the recent update there aren't that many cars on the road. Underneath these issues though, this is still a pretty remarkable game in terms of its story and depth, and hopefully CDPR will be able to pull themselves back up by the time their next release comes around.

Popular Post starcrunch061
It's plat review time again! February was a busy month, so 3 more this time around. Plat #471: Iron Crypticle Iron Master Get All Trophies No fuss, no muss. Twin-stick shooter that feels like Robotron 2084. Who could dislike that? Iron Crypticle controls well, and doesn't outstay its welcome. The plat takes 5-10 hours, but you are playing that entire time. There are numerous items to collect, and as you play, you unlock yet more weapons, spells and items. All of these are conveniently given in a "ledger", and while the descriptions aren't as humorous as those in, say, Enter the Gungeon, I always appreciate the added touch. I enjoyed every moment of my short time with this game, and at $2.99, it's what Ratalaika plats should be, but aren't. (FYI - this game was NOT published by Ratalaika; the statement is just commentary.) Plat #472: Wizards of Brandel Road to Promises Obtained all the trophies. Just when Kemco seems out of steam, I find a title that works well. Wizards of Brandel is the kind of inexpensive, nostalgic experience that Kemco delivers well. Wizards of Brandel has a noteworthy story (for Kemco, at least) which doesn't rely too much on absurdity or stupidity. Yes, there is a strange decision to turn the red-haired girl in the picture into a stuffed animal, but it works as well as such an idiotic story element possibly could. At times, the story borders on...good? Amazing, I know. Wizards of Brandel has a good combat system, a solid character development system, and some decent superboss encounters (even on easy mode). All in all, well worth the $7.49 or so I spent on it. Plat #473: Astro Aqua Kitty Astro Aqua Accolade Unlock all other trophies. Yet another fine indie purchase! I had some poor luck last year in this regard, but we're off to a flying start this year. Astro Aqua Kitty has your characters...piloting an attack sub underwater? Maybe that water was on another planet? Anyway, you're a group of cats, mining for gems, while fighting against robotic sea life, some nasty bunny pirates, and an evil force that can infect mechanic entities. Whatever! It's mostly a blast to play. Do be warned that bosses are incredible sponges on higher difficulties (which are not required for the platinum). The last boss is just annoying; it takes forever. Also, there are a couple of missable trophies, though if you explore the entirety of the map, doing everything there, only one trophy could possibly give you any trouble (and that one's pretty easy, too). I played it 100% blind, and got all the trophies with little issue. Also, one last funny thing: you could either buy the game alone, or a bundle which included the PS4 and PSVita versions, as well as some themes and avatars. At the most recent sale, both versions had the same price. Happy gaming! Edited March 1, 2022 by starcrunch061

Popular Post Quink666
Crysis Platinum Trophy 26,79% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / This is the least favourite game of the Crysis trilogy. Just started Crysis 2 and it's miles better and i can't wait to start Crysis 3 since that my favourite by a landslide. Trophies are very basic, complete the game on hardest difficulty, some chapter related trophies and some combat trophies. The Trilogy is currently on sale and at the discounted price of roughly 35 bucks i can highly recommend the trilogy!

Popular Post Dauersack
Shellshock Live #63: Maxed Out (0.69%) When I started this game months ago I already expected it to be a long grind, but I definitely underestimated how long it would actually take. Easily placing 2nd on my longest grind list behind Orcs Must Die Unchained, Shellshock Lives platinum is sub 1% rarity mostly for that reason. The game itself is a lot of fun to play, having plenty of similarities with games like Worms, though with tanks instead of worms and a ridiculously high number of weapons in comparison. Various maps, various game modes, tank progression, achievements, customization, items, a metric craptron if different weapons that all can be leveled up to unlock (mostly) better versions of it, single player missions against AI, plenty of additional ingame mechanics like wind or obstacles to keep things interesting. The game is almost exclusively played online, and here lies the biggest problem as the game is mostly dead with rather few people still playing, making boosting sessions essential if one wants to go for this platinum. Thankfully I had a few reliable partners and also a few non trophy hunters I could do games with occasionally, so that made the whole thing a lot more tolerable. The trophy list is reasonable for the most part, nothing difficult, some rng trophies but the big thing about it is just that lot of game time is required for it, and given that the developers could have made it a lot worse had they made the grindiest achievement in the game necessary for the platinum I do not want to complain about it too much. Online multiplayer grindfests are not usually my thing, but I am glad to have this platinum now. Anyone interested in going for it should not wait for too long, as the game is rather dead and I can't imagine that they will keep the servers up for a small bunch of people endlessly, also I highly advise to find a group for it beforehand as the thought of getting the plat with randoms only is absolutely dreadful. The game gets an easy recommendation for people who are not completionists and just want to play a fun game with a bunch of friends, trophy hunters should think twice about it since it is quite a commitment.
Popular Post MrGarland
Platinum #135 Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Atelier Ryza. The first game in the Atelier series I've played. I have to admit, I've never heard of it before, but somehow I did. Rather than hearing it from a friend or some other common ways, I discovered it when I saw a promotional image of the sequel being advertised in Neo (an anime magazine in the UK which was also brought to my country). Somehow the image got me interested and I decided to buy both of them once the sequel was released. How was my experience with this? I'll admit, many things took me some time to get used to. To make things even worse, I ended up taking a long break after I finished the story and I had to relearn everything. It's a bad habit of mine. Thankfully, learning all the basics again didn't take long. Alchemy, on the other hand, took some time. But what about the game? There's not much to say, so I'll keep it short. While not the best RPG I've played, it was a good experience. The way alchemy works in this game reminds me a lot of Dragon Quest IX, a game that I've so many good memories of. I do have some complaints to make. They're minor, but still. The first thing is something I don't really understand. You can only change the equipment in the hideout. You can't do that anywhere else. I tried, but it doesn't work. Why? Imagine if that was in every other RPG. Another thing I hate is how limited the in-game guide is. For example, when you're introduced to the basics of alchemy, the game tells a lot. However, if you try to look it up again from the pause menu, it's very limited. Again, why? Despite these minor flaws, I still ended up liking this. It was a good way to relax. Spoiler PS. Klaudia is the best girl. I like that smile of hers in the second image. Also, notice how close to death I was in the third image? I was still getting used to things, even though that part was around halfway of the game. Still, did I manage to beat that boss? Well... I'll leave it for you to decide. Next project: Need it even to be said that the sequel is next? After that is something I'm very excited to play. Or at least, that was the plan. I'll tell you more next time. Edited August 2, 2022 by MrGarland
Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
Knack 2 babeeee A dull, generic screenshot for a dull, generic game. Knack: The Ultimate Invention Rarity: 15.26% I got Knack 2 for free from the German Store. Don't remember how, I guess it was from the Play at Home initiative? The important thing is that I didn't spend a cent on this so the only thing that was wasted was my time and I can't express right now how glad I am that it was a "quick" platinum. At first I started loving it. Don't take me wrong, it is bad from the get go, but its ridiculous premise and how seriously it takes itself despite being a game for kids was just amazing in a schlocky, so-bad-its-good manner. It was perfect... for a while... then it just became boring and annoying and stayed like that for the rest of the game. In the end I found myself skipping the latter cutscenes despite loving the earlier ones. I mean, it's a game for kids that starts with bombings, terrorism and civilians bieng squashed, all of this with cheap and generic looking character designs that look straight from a mobile game and voice acting from people that are trying too hard to act professional despite the bizarre themes and stupid plot. I'm making it sound glorious, I know, I'm making it sound like a must play, but believe me, its not. Its only fun for a little while. Hell, even the graphics are bad. For a second you'll be impressed by the particle design / effects and then in the next scene you'll be looking at a blurry 480p background. And this for a Sony exclusive is inexcusable. (inexclusivle??) In fact, just calling it a Sony exclusive seems so wrong. If I have to praise something I'd say that a few of the levels are (unironically) very fun like the tank level that had me itching to play a cartooney AAA tank game or the clearly Shadow of the Colossus inspired level. Platinum wise its mostly easy but it certainly has several frustrating and even infuriating chokepoints like the time attack trials for instance, those had me raging non-stop. Haven't played OG Knack but I think its a fact that this is easier. Not touching that one, hell no! Game Rating: 3/10 Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 Time to platinum: 20-25h Oh and fuck QTE's, after this I hate them with a passion. Sorry, Quantic Dreams / Telltale, you can blame Knack 2 for making me QTEphobic.
Popular Post Jermster_91
#95 Horizon II: Forbidden West This is the most beautiful game that I have played so far on the PS5. If you can, it is best to play this game on the PS5. It took me about 35 hours or so to get the Platinum. The most annoying trophies in my opinion were getting all the Melee combat as well as the Minigame. Other than that, the games is worth playing.

I've loved the Crash Bandicoot series ever since I was a little kid. That feeling of walking into a Best Buy, Toys R Us, or Gamestop with my parents or grandparents is a magic I'll never truly capture again. The Playstation 1 version was one of the games they picked out for me back then. I completed the game MANY years ago, and now I'm happy to have the remake's platinum on my profile.
