Popular Post Juzota
#154 - The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope (7th April) - I've been playing all 3 games from the Anthology lately and this one was my first Platinum from these games. Little Hope is my second favorite game from the series so far. The trophy list was much more enjoyable compared to Man of Medan. No online co-op required trophy was a big plus. Also collectibles were much easier to obtain in Little Hope which was really nice. There was one trophy "No Escaping Fate" which gave me a headache, but other than that the list was pretty straight forward. I still don't know exactly what I did to finally get that trophy to pop, I tried so many solutions that I lost count at some point. Better than Man of Medan, but not as good as House of Ashes. By the way if someone is ready to help me get the online trophy on Man of Medan, I'd appreciate the help. I have no friends ;(

Popular Post starcrunch061
Little behind in my write-ups. Time to make up for it: Plat #474: Elden Ring Elden Ring Obtained all trophies Well, after 110 hours of play, it rings pretty hollow to say that I didn't like a game. But Elden Ring is not my favorite game. It's not my favorite Souls game. It's not my favorite Souls game on the PS4. But it's still OK. I could write pages on my feelings about this one, but since I'm listing two more games here, I'll keep it relatively short. Elden Ring really went for quantity, but unfortunately, some quality was left by the wayside. There are tons of bosses in the game, but most are completely forgettable jobbers. The so-called "legendary" bosses are mixed bag. The world is very large, but I feel like Souls games don't benefit from large worlds. Much of the world feels repetitive. There are tons of catacombs that might as well be identical. While the environment changes color a lot, the buildings look very similar. There is always an item around the corner, but with so many items, you start to lose interest in them. I couldn't tell you what 80% of the weapons I found in the game even do, much less what they look like. The game is pretty easy overall; it's arguably the easiest Souls plat I've got. The game has the kindest in-game quests of any Souls game. I was concerned about missable endings, but I shouldn't have been. I ended up seeing not only every ending, but also every version of the endings as well. And...they were disappointing. Other than a single change in phrase, each of the "Elden Lord" endings were identical. There was also a "good"(maybe?) and "bad"(clearly) ending. They were OK, but nothing special. I played on PS4, and with the exception of a persistent delay on button presses, it works well. No crashes for me. Load times were generally comfortable. All in all, technical aspects weren't a problem for me. I just thought the game was...ehh. If you like collecting, though, this will be a hit; there are tons of things out there to find. Plat #475: Mass Effect (PS4) N7 Elite ME1: Acquire all trophies For a long time, I had little interest in playing these remasters, but when my local library got a physical copy of the game, I decided to take the plunge. Playing Mass Effect is like visiting an old friend who was once sick, but got better. On PS3, this game is a chore to play, due to technical problems, long load times, and annoyingly slow development. The plat was a nightmare. On the PS4, though, it plays well. The load times are vastly improved. The grinding in the trophies is much better. And all in all, it's a fun experience. Mass Effect itself might be hit or miss with some people, with its wonky take on combat, the terrible Mako, the valueless money and constant acquisition of worthless loot. But I still enjoy its relative freedom, and its focused main story. While Saren is a lousy boss to fight, he's a cool antagonist to chase. It's probably hard for people to believe it, but learning that in fact, it was his ship that was the real enemy was a pretty cool reveal back in the day. And it's great to see your choices in Mass Effect ripple forward into Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 (while Bioware might have patched this in when the PS3 version was released, like most people, I played ME2 first on PS3, then ME3 before this one dropped). All in all, I'm delighted to have played it again. Plat #476: Mass Effect 2 (PS4) N7 Elite ME2: Acquire all trophies Mass Effect 2 was one of my earlier plats, all the way back in February 2011. Since then, I haven't touched the game. I loved it back in the day, but was a little worried about coming back to it. I'm happy to say that the fear was unjustified: Mass Effect 2 holds up as well today as it did back then. A lot of people complain about ME2 in comparison to ME. There were definitely some changes made. The wide-reaching main story was simplified considerably. Now, it can be summed up with "Those no good, human stealing Reapers are up to their old tricks again!" But within this skeleton, ME2 shined its focus on the characters of the game, to great effect. Characters are more memorable in ME2. Heck, even Wrex does better here than in the original ME, and he's not even a potential party member. My favorite character has to be Mordin Solus. He got all the great lines. Miranda, Tali, Garrus...hell, even Grunt gets their respective moments in the sun. The weak link here is Jacob, who comes across as a pretty boring addition. Hell, he does worse than the DLC character Zaeed and Kasumi, and you can hardly interact with them. But ignoring him, it's a solid lineup. Gameplay is vastly improved. Combat makes much more sense in ME2 than in its predecessor; shooting an enemy in the head won't result in a strange "miss" or anything like that. Enemies can be pretty brutal, though. I particularly hated the Husks, which could spam attacks and stunlock you (particularly near the end of the game), and their overseers, the Scions, which are probably the worst enemy in the ME universe (do they even show up anywhere other than ME2?). But I enjoyed fighting much more here than in ME1, and there's a lot of combat to go around. The RPG aspects suffer a bit, but not as much as some people would say. Choices remain in this game, and depending on your reputation, you can access QTE events that further customize your tale. All in all, it remains a really fun game.

Popular Post nestamar5
Megadimension Neptunia VII Megadimension Master Trophy Rarity: 10.97% Completed Neptunia VII! The Neptunia games have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. While the combat mechanics are pretty basic and have been done better in other games, the Neptunia games definitely has a sense of character I've rarely seen in other games. The story has always been light-hearted (besides conquest ending in Mk.2) and almost never takes itself seriously, constantly referencing other games, developers, etc, and breaks the fourth wall. I'm easily entertained, so trying to figure out what the game/characters are referencing is a constant engagement for me. I still remember the OG Neptunia game gave me and my friends a genuine laugh when we played it almost a decade ago! This game took me just over 100 hours to platinum, twice as long as I would've liked. It's entirely my fault though, poorly planning my first route which almost forced me to do a third playthrough, constantly checking to see if I fulfilled every requirement for the true ending, and leaving the console on while scouts find hidden dungeons/enemies/treasure hints. I could've definitely done far better. Megadimension Neptunia VII feels like an improvement over the PS3 trilogy but I find it difficult to explain how it feels better than Victory since it has been a few years since I've played it. You still line enemies up within your attack zone, use skills which cost SP or EXE, and some girls transform. The game seemingly runs smoother as far as I can tell (at least until some of the later dungeons with a lot of enemies spawned, then the framerate drops like a sack of rocks), and of course it's at a higher resolution. It's definitely the most enjoyment I've gotten out of the gameplay side of this series so far, mind that I haven't played VIIR or 4GO as of the time I am writing this. It's too bad this is has been the last main game in the franchise for the last 6 years and the developers keep making remakes and spin offs, I would love to follow this the Neptunia games even further.
Popular Post Cmndr_Yoshi
Hey all! Really cool stuff from you guys. Keep it up! Platinum # - 167 Rarity - %7.64 / 100 Complete - %2.65 Decent racer. Certainly nothing amazing, but some of the heist-like story missions are fairly cool. The story is weak, but the dialog? Absolutely cringe-worthy. The car handling isn't bad, and the drifting is especially fun if you find the right car build. Overall, it's not a bad experience, but there are better racing options out there.
Eqill5
#57 - F1 2020 This is probably the easiest instalment of the PS4 Formula One series, and least grindy! The introduction of “My Team” mode was alright, (you own, manage the finances, deal with sponsors, sign drivers and drive yourself - all of this responsibility falls on you) It was something different and it was a nice touch to be able to race in the single player career using your own livery etc. Which also carries over to MP The only issue I encountered was trying to finish the online races in ranked matches. After reaching Safety Rating rank S, I was unable to find any lobbies or ever be paired up with any other driver, with the exception of 1 guy that I raced against for an hour, just the two of us. He was also rank S. I’m assuming this is down to being slightly unpopulated, the matchmaking pairing you with similar ranks, but also because F1 online tends to be more like demolition derby with the infamous first corner dive bombs of the century, meaning that no one else actually has that high a safety rating?! Nevertheless, unranked lobbies were in abundance which made for good racing, and I didn’t want to boost this in a league because that’s boring! One more to go and then I will have caught up with the entire series!
Popular Post MarcusPunisher
Platinum #164 - Injustice 2 2.18% - Ultra Rare Well, I finally surpassed my rarest platinum trophy with Resident Evil Revelations 2. I feel like this one is going to be my rarest for a while. This platinum was made easier to boost from two consoles, yet equally as tedious, because there was a lot RNG involved, specifically with the Cat Call trophy, which is still a platinum stopper for many others from what I've heard. I really have no good advice other than grind in the legendary multiverse for Catwoman that still requires some ridiculous objectives to get to. It is not impossible, but it will take a lot of time and patience. It also takes almost the same amount of time to level up all the non-DLC characters to max and some specific combos to pull up. The rest is thankfully boostable with a partner and the online mode is still going relatively strong. As for the game itself, this is probably my favorite out of what NRS released. The characters are mostly true to their source, the story is interesting enough (I just wish Kara had something more to do), the multiverse is engaging, and I like the various costumes you can equip with your character. It would be much better if those costume parts didn't require level up. It makes some of the characters look really great along with the voice acting being spot on for pretty much everyone, especially my favorite TMNT boys. Also, whoever came up with the idea that Robert Englund, the actor of Freddy Krueger, should voice Scarecrow hopefully got a well-deserved raise that day. That is all I have to say. I can see myself coming back to this even when I'm technically done, but I want to also platinum Mortal Kombat X and maybe Injustice Among US, which has some ridiculous trophies. Like I said, I don't think I will top this rarest platinum anytime soon, but I am willing to push myself even further. I'm also hoping for a potential Injustice 3 to have a complete trilogy like New MK Era. Hopefully, that one ends up way better than MK 11.
Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #118 Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3 V Generation The last of the remakes, and my favorite one. Once again the game have a more goofy tone, unlike the second one. The comedy is on point. I dont remember the last game where I grinned so much. Merging the EXE drive into the SP one was a change that I liked, but essentially the gameplay is the same as the other two. Platinum-wise I also thought that this game is than 1 and 2. Although longer, the grinds are far less tedious than the Clione grinding from Re;Birth 1, and this time we dont have multiple endings involving planning the shares, nor we have a really tight MB usage on the remake system like on the second one. And this time around Stella's Dungeon is extremely easy. Regu and Bamo is probably the hardest fight from all 3 games. The guide states that you cant use the Drill discs because you cant HDD off. While it is true, if you let them kill you, just revive the dead and you can make use of the Drill strategy. This was how I defeated them, because only the best weapons from the Colosseum was not enough, and I did not want to go after better armor gear. My party was Neptune, Plutia, Noire and Vert. If you are a fan of JRPGs and already played the well known ones, I think the Neptunia series are good games. They are usually goofy and dont take itself seriously most of the time, and the gameplay is good enough. Sadly it does not have outstanding OST or good graphics, but are worth the time.
Popular Post DrunkenEngineer
Platinum #30 + DLC 100% - The Last of Us Remastered (February 18, 2022) Do you like complex narratives with anti-heroes? Was Cormac McCarthy's The Road not depressing enough? Then come take a trip with Ellie & Joel as they navigate through a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a fungal infection, presenting a unique take on the age-old zombie horror adventure. The Good Linear, single-player campaign with tremendous attention to detail Intense third-person combat that is deliberately claustrophobic and visceral Rewards exploration and thriftiness with supplies - the survival horror heritage is evident Multiplayer mode that is criminally underrated and past it's heyday, but fun to visit The Bad Save system is overly finicky with save slots that begin new autosave paths Try to get through the prologue without misting up 100% Impressions This was my first PlayStation game since the original PSX generation, and what a blast it was. I initially played the game multiple times through with no regard to trophies. In fact, my first playthrough netted me 4 trophies total. Over the course of the next several years I would revisit the campaign and beat it on a successively higher difficultly level, or hunt for collectibles; I solely treated trophies as an excuse to get more content out of the game (a healthy perspective that I often lose track of). At one point I was content to just collect all the single player trophies and leave the multiplayer untouched, because, well...it was intimidating! But the call of the Platinum trophy was too great. I poured over multiple guides and stressed myself out about the multiplayer until I finally took the plunge. After the initial frustration we all feel when getting clowned on by veterans, it became legitimately fun. The multiplayer trophies permit a wide variety of playstyles in order to progress the meta-game that presents itself in between matches. By the end of my two Faction journeys I was comfortably hanging with the big boys (at least in my head). There are some well-known exploits that are difficult to pull off, but still abused by the community which would absolutely ruin a lobby, but I still made it through the trophies just fine. I'm always going to have a great deal of nostalgia for this game. The music by Gustavo Santaolalla is haunting, the performances by Troy Baker & Ashley Johnson exemplary, and the technical direction is world-class. As my introduction to what a first party title - developed to leverage the best features of a brand new console - could present, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Jounochi
Platinum #192 - Idle Champions (PS4) Man, this one took a long time to get and will probably be the last idle game I play, if any others are released in the future. This game requires a lot more user input than you would think, and with multi-pp functionality not really being a thing on consoles, this is a PITA to baby sit. It's not too bad if you have shows you're trying to catch up on or if you're doing stuff IRL, but still annoying. The game itself isn't bad. I actually enjoyed some of the scenarios that they had in the game, and there were some challenging ones towards the end of my platinum that required some thinking. 99% of the time though, it was just grinding for days on end for a few additional stats that may or may not help you. I would not recommend this grind, if you do not enjoy heavy grinding. If you do though, this is right up your alley. Enjoyment: 6/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2/10
Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 111 Little Nightmares II Primetime Content Consumer Finally got the time to finsh both Little Nightmare 1 & 2. Took me awhile to start the game since I was wanna to get the DLC for and 100% in one go. Another Issue was my R2 copy code is not working for my region, so need to rebuy the sceret of the maw for it. == Lucky is not that expensive ~~ Anyway here my though on both game.Little Nightmares & Sceret of the Maw The overall game is good for a casual playthough. with it story and mood that the game bring out is pretty good. The puzze overall still pretty good and simple. After a few play you can find ever simple solution to a puzzle. Control wise is the only thing that I don't really like. It work for just casually playing the game. But I did having some hard time to get Hard to the Core. But lucky you don't need to get it in one go. I use the USB backup Trick for this. Since some of the stuff is abit random. making hard to no Dying in 1 playthough.Little Nightmares II I have more fun playing the 2nd game rather that the first one. The control is similar but better feel. There is some randomless in the game but this is a much better improvement game. With the ever intersting Story & Mood which really draw my attention. I don't have much compare for this version, but do hope we can have more Lore & Story for the game if they make a 3. So play the game if this is intersting wwwwwww
Popular Post Sora9427
Platinum Trophy N.186 The Dark SoulAcquire all trophies. Well, here it is! I said i wanted to wait longer after finishing DS2 to play the 3Rd one but i was sitll in mood for this kind of game and all the Elden ring stuff coming out made me want to play Ds3 straight away, and so i started it like a Week after my Ds2 Plat What to say, it really is noticeable the jump from PS3 Remastered title and a Ps4 one, the graphic are Gorgeous and the gameplay is smoother and faster too. I Basiclaly finished the Entire game in like 2 Weeks, so why did it took 6 to plat it? Well the Freakin' uselesss grinding at the ened that's why The game was a pleasure to play, there are some Meh areas like the Dungeon, who thought it was fun making an enemy that drains your entire life bar just by being near i don't know; some Amazing areas visually like Irithyll (Such a pity here too for shitty enemies, personally i run across half of it, it looked liked a Ds2 area for the number of enemies one after another) or Archdragon Peak; Some well not bad but i'm glad they were short to pass like the Catacombs (I'll never like those Dunegons in games). Talking about the Bosses, i didn't have many troubles honetsly, had fun with most of them and only took some tries, the only Idiotic boss for me it's Nameless king. I see many people enjoying this battle, for me not at all. I had to take Many Many attempts again only The Twins (But i always found it fair, i felt like i could make it right away) and The Nameless king. The timing is off so you have to learn it but even then he has such Bs moves, i still remember getting it 3-4 times by his hitbox despite his weapon not touching me Plus this Slow lated moveset makes the battle feel slower and a Dodging contest with few chances to counter attack and i strongly Dislike this kind of battle (Especially the Slow pace more than anything). Aside form that i had a ton of Fan, it's still noticeable that it's DS, it's not at all up there for me with Bloodborne, you have a Shield and in some battle you should use it, plus you're punished at times for being aggressive and so with my playstile that is Dodging, no shields and agressive it's not perfect (Reason why Bloodborne it's Amazing for me, it actually favours my playstile) Anyway it was a fun experience and absolutely an improvement from Ds2 where i had quite a bit of complaints between areas and bosses. I Felt the character stories here are pretty lame. The Siegmeier one is not bad but aside from the Final battle it's not really that emotional, for the others i guess i didn't explored them properly but i didn't felt the need to either. The Endings are pretty cool, i liked the Dark one where the Firekeeper helps you, the Hollow one, is interesting i guess? I Got it what it told but i expected something more than just a scene of us leaving the place with some Londor people bowing at us as a new King for them, eh. I used a Simple enough build, i had the Irythill Armor set (the one the Hidden Enemey drops in the LLibrary archive), the Grass shield for stamina only and 2 Handed all game first the Uchigatana and then the Chaos blade! I basically had a bleed building, who would have thought it would have been the strongest one in Elden ring a bit later Anyway it was fun as a playstile, i'm trying to vary, i did a Lightning Halberd Build in Ds1, a Greatsword Build in Ds2 and soi now i went for Dex with a Katana. Was it the best? Not at all, there are like 4? Bosses that can bleed out but still it was fun and effective, i found out that boy it sucks online, you basically never bleed out people and if they have a greatsword, it's broken in PVP, huge range, huge damage, decent speed, can't get close to them if they're decent. Now that i've said all the good things about the game here is the AWFUL thing of it. The Heckin' Covenant farming. God it's so awful and useless. There is no point and need to make you farm for hours and hours and hours just for 3 speels and 2 rings for the trophie,s it's just to add useless playtime to the game, i finished the game at around 53 hours and i had all done with 2 Ng+ runs and stuff around in 35 hours.... And thanks god for a great help or i would still be there farming probably reaching almost double my hours just for a Ring... It took me like 7-8 hours to farm the Proof of concord kept, i farmed so much i went from level 130 to 180... I now don't wanna see that Anor londo part ever again, i'm sick of it after all the up and downs the stairs.... Thanks god for the Shackales and other stuff i had a friend helping me with invasios and so it was a rather fast farming on that front; Sadly Human dregs & Proof of concord kept can't be farmed that way and so i had to get them offline myself. At least the Human dregs are fast with 9 enemies not so far from a Bonfire and that don't takes 5-6 hits to Die and 2 to kill you; plus you need only 10 not 30. A HUGE thanks to @Undead Wolf, i asked to him for helps with the rings yesterday night and he fasty checked and helped me a TON! I Was missing, well i thought, the Wolf ring and i tried to farm the Abyss watcher Covenant for it but god getting only 2 pieces in 40 minutes, i asked for help to him if he coudl apss me the ring and he agreed if he had it and he did He was so Kind to passs me ALL the rings i was actually missing, i thought i already did the Farming around for them but turns out not at all, i was missing like 30 Rings O.o He really Saved me possibly something like 10 tedious and boring hours of Farming back and forth, thank you so much again And that's all, Overall as said great experience in game (Nameless king Aside) and Awful post game. I leave here the Ring Image with the great guy who helped me (The Plat image is a Black screen anyway after getting the last ending) Spoiler Now Back into Sophie like the last weeks. I Have now Both Sekiro and Elden ring i could start. I'll probably start with Elden Ring (Being more Recent and Similar) after i start Sophie 2; i wonder what build will i have, i already did this 3 and Magic looks gorgeous but broken too in Elend, maybe i'll go for 2 Handed normal swords sinc eit's an option, guess i'll see when it's time

Popular Post Mirrors1118
Platinum #244: Code Vein Didn't really pay much attention to this game when it first came out but end up getting the game when it's on sale a while ago. This game is actually pretty good with solid gameplay and story. Only nitpick is I feel like the speed of drinking healing flasks is so slow. Rather than just a Dark Souls clone it has tons of blood codes and gifts so there are a lot of build diversity. This game also has some pretty stunning area. Saved my platinum screenshot to my most loved(visually) and hated(a pain to navigate) map in this game. Huge props to the people who did the Exalted Reputation trophy before they released Tower of Trials mode because 400 medals feels like a pain to grind if you don't do it in Tower of Trials 3 with the immortal build.

Popular Post Teva_Forlan
- Batman Return to Arkham - Arkham City - I've finally get the platinum on Arkham City + dlc's trophies. Probably one of the most annoying game to complete 100% I ever done. Quite a good game but too repetitive for me knowing that the game is longer than the previous one which is not a good thing assuming that you're doing the same stuff over and over then the final story with the "true" antagonist wasn't that good, looked too conventional to me. The 440 riddler trophies to collect giving you access to side quest missions are just too annoying to get, that was way too much and not fun at all. Although the Riddler's missions were good. But the most frustrating part was definitely the jerky gameplay inaccurate most of time, slowing down after some animations and making several freezes; completing the predators challenges were really tough with that gameplay but I can relativize because this game initially released in 2011... So I'll keep my preference for Arkham Asylum which is shorter but less annoying, I loved the mood I get into and the moments with Scarecrow were really good.
