They were all really fun games I've been wanting to check out anyways ^^

Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #118 & Platinum #119 Madden NFL 21 [PS4] & Madden NFL 21 [PS5] Madden NFL 21 Master - Congratulations on earning every Madden NFL 21 trophy! [PS4] Madden NFL 21 Master - Congratulations on earning every Madden NFL 21 trophy! [PS5] 22,130 Owners - 713 Achievers for a percentage of 3.22% (average completion; 16.42%) [PS4] 8,294 Owners - 453 Achievers for a percentage of 5.46% (average completion; 16.14%) [PS5] Enjoyment; 7/10 Difficulty; 2/10 Trophies; 4/10, copy+paste job, lots of glitches, narcissistic Plat tile I played the same game 5 times; 10/10 Well, here I am again. The 6th and 7th Madden Platinums in my collection, and the third and fourth of this year alone (with a fifth having come in December '21). After having played Maddens '18, '19, '20, and the two versions of '21 almost back-to-back, I can pretty conclusively say that, yes, these annual sports titles really are so similar year-in-year-out that charging full price really isn't justifiable. I will give the PS5 a little credit for quick load times and some slightly changed playcalling menus (they are actually worse than those on the PS4 IMO but at least they are different!), but other than that there is very little innovation across the board. Madden Ultimate Team is still a one-way road to bankruptcy, the Yard is still not interesting, Franchise is still a shadow of its former self, and Face of the Franchise is a step up from the QB1 mode from 2020, but not as unintentionally entertaining as Longshot and Longshot: Homecoming from 2018 and 2019. It is also incredibly glitchy, more so than other years, both in terms of Trophies and general gameplay. A lot of people have trouble getting some of field-based Trophies to pop, although I had no issue with them on either version. Some of the Franchise-based ones did prove problematic on PS5. So why did I play this after playing the previous three iterations? Because the gameplay is extremely shallow and straightforward, and because I still have an American football itch to scratch. The Madden games, in single-player, require extremely little thought to play and they can be quite relaxing to me as a result. Just turn your brain off, bro, and chuck that pigskin to the guy down the field. This is very personal to me though, because I imagine most of the other regulars here would have absolutely zero interest in the sport and this series to the point where it would defeat the purpose of playing a Madden in the first place. But if you are curious to branch out, away from your favourite sport or your usual genre of game, into something a little different, then any Madden game from '18 onwards may just give you what you're looking for. I auto-popped about a third of the PS5 list through having Platted the PS4 version first, as you can import your progress from Face of the Franchise. Here too did I encounter a glitch where you had to go into the FotF menu, see that none of your saves were available for import, back out to the main menu, go back into FotF, and then see them being loaded in. Bizarre stuff when you consider how basic this should - when you copy+paste your game every year like developer EA Tiburon does, you'd think you'd have time left over to make sure these kinds of things were ironed out - even on an annual release schedule! But clearly, they're doing something else at their offices - most likely something to do with monetization rather than any other gameplay mode. Think I'll be taking a fairly long break from Madden now, unless I find an exceptionally cheap copy of Madden 22.

Phlegeth
#61 Scribblenauts Superstar! Unlock all other trophies. I meant to plat this when I beat it, but I got distracted by whatever it was I played next. I think Sonic Unleashed. Unleashed is way more fun than Unmasked. The final battle sounds cool on paper, calling in a bunch of super heroes for alternate universes to fight four Braniacs. But it's Scribblenauts, so it was underwhelming.

Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#72: Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection The Ultimate Warrior (24.60% - Uncommon) Earn all trophies. The Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection features the Ps2 games DBZ Budokai and DBZ Budokai 3 on High Definition on Ps3, obviously with Trophy support! For some reason, Budokai 2 is not included; ironically, I own all the three Budokai games on the Ps2, but while I did play 1 and 3 a lot back in the days, I literally booted up 2 only once, the day I was gifted it in 2011, and never played it again. But as I said, I played Budokai 1 and 3 a lot back in 2010/2011, and I had a lot of fun with them, to the point that in 2012 I bought this HD Collection on launch day for my Xbox 360. I eventually got 1000G in 2013 and I remember being very satisfied by that. Years passed, I made the definitive switch from Xbox and Achievements to PlayStation and Trophies, and we are now, playing these two Budokai games once again. Unfortunately, Budokai 1 let me down, I remember the game being much better: it's not a bad game, but aged very poorly. In particular, the gameplay feels very slow and clunky, and while the graphic is pretty cute for the cutscenes, I don't think it works well for the gameplay. Not to mention that some of the dialogues translations are terrible, and the fact that the Buu Saga is not covered is bad. The game originally came out in 2002, and it was a huge step forward from the latest Dragon Ball game, Final Bout, it just aged kinda bad for 2022 standards, maybe even for 2012 standards. Budokai 3, on the other hand, is much better: the graphic doesn't feel outdated at all, and still holds to this day, while the gameplay is much smoother and better. The main campaign is very different from the classic DBZ Story Mode featured in Budokai 1 and has some RPG elements, which is cool and different from usual but I don't think it's the best possible mode for players who don't know the Dragon Ball story well enough. Thankfully, it isn't my case. ? Budokai 3 has also more longevity than Budokai 1 thanks to the Dragon Arena Mode, where you can level up your characters while playing against stronger and stronger opponents, definitely making it a better game. While I think that other DBZ games are much better, Budokai 3 is a very good game, and I understand why some players consider it as the best. About the difficulty, both games are pretty much on the same difficulty, and the only annoying part was winning the Advanced World Tournaments: expecially on Budokai 3, the AI is very hard to beat and it took me solid 2 hours to win the tournament, with literally one single pixel of health left in the last match. I have no idea how I managed to win the tournament on Xbox 360 in 2013, expecially considering that at the time I didn't know the proper tactic. With this Platinum, I have also managed to get my profile to a completion percentage of 97% for the first time ever, the highest it's ever been: I'm an avid completist, and while I can't get a 100% profile because of some unobtainables, getting my profile to 99% is one of my ultimate goals, I think this is a good step forward ? In the meanwhile, my road to 75 Platinums and 4000 Trophies continues ? Edited April 16, 2022 by KenjiCBZ

Moridin83
#204 Trigger Witch This is a mix of 2d Legend of Zelda and a twin stick shooter. The gameplay was fun and well done for the most part, the graphics have that retro feel without being obnoxious about it, and there's a decent variety of weapons to suit your playstyle. The story though, takes a left turn at the 11th hour. Story is the least important part of a game like this, so it's not a deal breaker, but man did it feel tonally awkward. It definitely dented my enjoyment of the game a bit. Plat wise, not difficult, and most of the trophies will come in normal gameplay, so you can just enjoy. Solid title. Popular Post sona_11
#118 THE ALLIANCE ALIVE Alliance Alive Enjoyment : 3/10 Platinum : 7/10 I started this game thinking I'll really enjoy it. Little did I know that I'll suffer with every minutes I spent playing it. The story was lackluster and the characters have boring personality and zero development. Also, I never realized how much I like voice acting until I played this game, since it doesn't have any!! The trophies - for me - was a pure torture. Getting all the arts of all the weapons made me almost giving up on this plat. There's another trophy which requires beating a boss that "you don't have to beat because losing will progress the story" was really annoying. Especially since he was so strong that I have to grind for 2 playthroughs and I barely barely won ? I spent months playing and dropping this game until I finally got the plat a week ago. Don't recommend this game to anyone unless you want a motive to kill yourself

The platinum for this game was a walk in the park, I played the whole game on normal and I found it a pleasant journey. I took my time with this game but it was worth it! Really enjoyed playing as the Ghost!
Popular Post Letenko
#150 Killzone 2 I can't really say much that hasn't already been said in the last 13 years since this came out, but to anyone that enjoys FPS games, please do yourself a huge favor and play this game. You can find it dirt cheap and if you care about unobtainables then at least play it on an alt account. I particularly enjoyed the in-game animations, from reloading, running, aiming down the sight to climbing - all of them feel like they have an actual weight to them and aren't just "floaty". Somehow the graphics still hold up, which is more than likely due to the texture quality and the asthetic of the game. The Helghast look just as good as ever and are a real treat to fight... especially Radec. Overall a great game that shouldn't be missed by anyone - if you think that you'd enjoy it, I can guarantee that you will.
