reaperveteran86
Platinum #279 Omno The Enlightened - 70,17% An easy platformer/puzzle game that feels very similar to games like Journey and Abzu. Platinum #280 Omensight Completionist - 20,44% The inofficial successor to Stories: The Path of Destinies. This time the protagonist is an godly avatar, that tries to prevent the end of the world by repeating the final day of the world at the side of 4 different anthrophomorphic animals, to solve the murder of an owl priestess. It has the same "choose your own adventure" style of storytelling, that made Stories so interesting for me. Like Stories it can get a bit repetitive but this lies in the nature of this sort of storytelling so I didn`t found it that annoying. All in all a fun game. Platinum #281 Narita Boy Master of the Trichroma - 37,67% I could write a bit about the story of this masterpiece of a game, or I can let the game do the talking (or should I say singing) for me: Besides a banger soundtrack the game offers a really cool artdesign that looks like a mix of Blasphemous and Tron and metroidvania style gameplay (although it is more linear then the typical metroidvania). I really liked this game and I think I found one contender for my game of the year.

Popular Post Trancexistence
#9 - F1 2021 I finally finished off my first F1 platinum trophy on this account. I say *finally* because of the Tracked Addiction trophy requiring players to record 50 hours of total track time. I was at around 21 hours after unlocking all the other trophies so many hours of idling the game in Time Trial were required to pop it. I don't think the devs really thought that trophy through at all. Worse yet, the game only counts track time spent online or in Career mode on the statistics page so some guess work was required to add on how much time I'd spent in the Braking Point story mode and on miscellaneous stuff. The game doesn't make use of PS5's trophy tracking feature either. Speaking of Braking Point, that mode was better than I expected it to be even if the story was a little bit cliché. The in-race scenarios presented were often fun to complete. Career mode was enjoyable and I liked establishing my own team along with all the different options available for R&D paths. My only slight criticism is that it never felt like the rookie teammate I chose was improving as quickly as the team's machinery did, no matter how many resource points I invested in improving his stats or how long he spent in the simulator. Online was where I probably had the most fun which I didn't expect because of the 100 race grind which actually ended up sailing by. From my own personal experience, the other players were surprisingly well behaved apart from the odd few races that had troublemakers. Having said that, my last experience playing an F1 game online was F1 2017 which was full of people driving like idiots. It's a relatively small thing in context but I liked the menus too. The presentation of the game is very slick. All of the full-time 2021 drivers are present too from 7 time (should be 8 time) world champion Lewis Hamilton to fellow former multiple time world champions Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso along with the rather questionable 2021 world champion Max Verstappen. As someone that's been playing F1 games since F1 97 on PS1, I had a great time with this simcade representation of a sport I love watching. Looking forward to eventually playing F1 22 but will have a little break first Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 4/10
Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
Dragon's Sugma The Amazonian Barbarian and the Halfling Nun The True Arisen Rarity: 7.97% Now look at this beauty. Isn't it one of the best looking plats out there? I'm so glad I joined this fanbase when I did (last month, lol). I mean, Capcom waited exactly a decade to finally make a sequel to this hidden gem. Guess they were too busy milking money from Resident Evil and Monster Hunter. That being said, the game, again, is 10 years old and it does show its age. Not just graphically but several mechanics are outdated and can even be considered annoying and pace killing, like the atrocious way stamina is handled. Who on earth makes stamina deplete just by running in an open world that lacks mounts?! Elden Ring has a mount but even then they had the brains to make it so your stamina only depletes during combat. Now, you might be saying that comparing games that are a decade apart is unfair, but I'll die on this hill: It's just a single line of code. It's not a hardware thing, its not a game engine thing, its as simple as this: "If (playerstate = 'combat') {stamina = deplete}; else {stamina = unlimited}" or something like that since they can use the very same code that detects combat in order to play the proper combat music to determine when to deplete stamina and when not to. Halfling Nuns, Murderous Amazons and Orphan Bandit archers. I may be sounding very harsh but I actually loved this game. The combat and build variety are phenomenal, even after platinuming it I feel like starting a different character for a Mystic Knight playthrough. It also has one of the best character customization out there with tons of "Fashion Dogma" content. I can only imagine how Dragon's Dogma II's character creation is going to be like. Platinum wise its average difficulty. The plat requires a hard mode playthrough but with proper usage of fast travel you can power through Hard Mode New Game Plus in an hour. Your biggest challenges, however, are going to be dealing with Bitterblack Isle and reaching level 200 so ohhh boy, prepare to grind because even after NG+ you'll only be in the 70's or something. Game Rating: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 Time to platinum: 70h Must protecc I'm quite hyped for DDII. Please Capcom, don't ruin it. Oh and avoid that Netflix Dragon's Dogma anime like the plague. It includes actual rape scenes for some reason but the lore and atmosphere are also being raped. Popular Post MarcusPunisher
Platinum # 175 - Hitman 3 (PS4) 15.20% - Rare Good job 47. The platinum trophy has been reached and the contract has been fulfilled. Thank you for your service over the past 5 years. You will be contacted again when we need you. So this platinum was not only for this specific game itself, but also a culmination of the previous 2 games, since the reboot started in 2016. I didn't get on board right away after the disappointment that was Absolution and the rather questionable ways the developers sell the product (which has been a continuous issue unfortunately), but when I finally got to play it, I was absolutely blown away with how much they ever able to innovate the new games by taking the strengths of their previous titles, implement them in even better matter, and create a sandbox that is not only incredibly creative with the ways how you can approach your targets, but incredibly enjoyable to replay to find those set paths. I could spend hours just on the first map and not get bored given how many challenges I can tackle. The strength of the gameplay and its improvements was consistently going through all the way to this very 3rd final title. The biggest strength in these games lies in how creative the maps can be. Some are definitely better than the others and there are certainly some that are not as fun to replay. I can say that this title has some of the best maps not just in the whole trilogy, but in the series as a whole, minus the very last one, but that's for different reasons. I can easily claim that maps 2 & 3 are ranking as my favorite maps, especially playing map 3 for the first time. It was a nice shake up of the formula and good way to rethink the strategy going in. The games also got progressively more beautiful in their art design and the layout of the maps. The overall of the castle in map 2 was probably the best layered out with how much subtle history you can find there and it was just nice to look. The only problem I had was that the game looked really washed out with my HDR TV on that needed to be turned off, which is a shame as I think that it would look even better. I also need to mention the soundtrack. The previous ones were good, but I think they outdid themselves with this one and it's my favorite on part with Blood Money. This is not a negative section this time, more like a gripe. The whole trilogy had an ongoing story in the background that reached its conclusion here. I felt like everything was wrapping up really quickly, which was more of a fault of the second Hitman, where nothing much happened unfortunately. The storyline was basic, which is not a bad thing, but most of the twists and surprises were rather predictable. There is a moment towards the end that is meant to be treated like a big deal from a certain character, but I did not believe it for a second. I also spoked about the last map being rather disappointing, not because of the map itself, but because it was the very last one and therefore the shortest and most linear out of all. I certainly expected a better finality when everything was going down and with how quick it is to get to the end, it felt rather unsatisfying as the climactic map. Not the climax itself, cause that one was rather good if you went for a specific ending. I think that if they had to make the last map shorter, just make a half the size of the normal maps and give only the most essential tool to start with more ways to approach your target to make it a bombastic finally. Other than that, the connection is still mandatory for a SINGLE PLAYER GAME, which has been the biggest stinker for this trilogy. I personally didn't have issues with the connection, but I'm not oblivious of people not having the best internet in some parts of the world and the launch was filled with connectivity issues. The platinum was straightforward and most of it required replaying the maps for completing various challenges, which was a piece of cake for already playing all the games. This was overall a great time and a nice send off for Agent 47 for now. I will continue to play more, since the game is getting more content and I am even curious about their upcoming James Bond game if it is anywhere near this quality. Now if only we can get some quality Splinter Cell games again from Ubisoft, then I would be happy. Jelloycat
Platinum #104: SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom I never played the original game, so I went into this one with no real nostalgia for it, and it was... okay. I haven't watched any of the newer SpongeBob stuff, but it was fun to see all the references and just generally explore Bikini Bottom. That being said, I found a lot of the game to be more annoying than fun. (Especially all of the Kelp Forest level.) I don't think it's a bad game, but definitely not one I'll play again, or one that I super enjoyed overall. At least it was free on PS+.
Popular Post James Tiger
#99 Resident Evil 7: Biohazard A survival horror masterpiece. The best Resident Evil game Capcom have ever made after Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil's original creator) leaves Capcom. And my second favourite Resident Evil Game. The main game is great. The DLC is fun and challenging. The story is a bit of nonsense but still great. 10/10. And since I had done this game on PC, decided to speedrun it and I managed to become the 3rd Fastest Achiever! (For now) Not the first but still proud of myself. ?
Cauvuh_Lakrwa
Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragons Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure #69 A game I picked up while it was PS+ game of the month some time ago. Really enjoyed this game without too much trouble. In the beginning struggled a bit with the game mechanism but the game is designed to learn quickly. Had fun while playing online co-op. The only thing I really really struggled with was the Cute Loot trophy which is a RNG based encounter. Had to grind a few hours for the encounter to finally show (didn't even properly see it because I killed it before I knew it was there). LEGO The Lord of the Rings #70 Recently picked up a VITA and started playing some games included with it. This game was truly fun to play. They used the audio of dialogues of movies and it brought me back to those same movies. Nothing too hard (it's a LEGO game) but really fun. This game (and LEGO DC Super-Villains) made me think to play more LEGO games because of the sheer fun I have playing them. Assassin's Creed III Liberation (VITA) #71 Although the VITA version of the game is how the game was intended (PS3 version is an upgrade) it really felt like a rundown version. A real buggy mess if you ask me. The shiptrading minigame was annoying because I kept losing my cargo or ships so I had to start a new playthrough to get the shipmaster trophy. Also, the online mode really let me down. Overall I don't mind online trophies if the game is fun to play, but what they did here.. I don't know. Luckily you can grind this section of the game and after a few hours of mindless grinding (was watching some series in the meantime) I finally could finish this abomination of a game.

Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 Completion time: 5 days, 21 hours My first time playing an Ape Escape game.; It's a fun and short game to platinum. Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #567: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA (PS4) Spoiler One of the best Action-JRPG out there. It is available to rent for on PS+ extra (NA Region?). Platted the Vita version years ago. Enjoyed it just as much as before. The music is on point, the enemies are designed well (fun to fight as well). You can level up your moves like in the Trails of Games. If you evade or block at the right time, you get immune for a few seconds (Faster Movement Evade, 100% Critical Attacks if Block). Can't wait to finally play Monstrum Nox. Difficulty: 3/10 (Nightmare Difficulty, though you can lower the difficulty on bosses by lowering difficulty & try again option on death. Won't void Nightmare Trophy as the options will still have Nightmare mode) Enjoyment: 9/10 Time: 81 hours
Valzentia
#67 - That's You! Difficulty: 1/10 for the game, 7/10 for the setup because it's a real pain in the ass Fun: 7.3ish something solo/10, I imagine it's a lot more fun with friends One of the PlayLink games, this is a party game of very strange proportions with the most tedious setup for a platinum trophy I have ever seen in my life. This would be a blast with friends. Playing with SIX dummy accounts? Not so much. You look insane doing so if you don't live alone and you also start to question your life choices. On the flip side, it is an ultra rare, which is pretty cool. But if you value your sanity, do not ever attempt this solely due to the setup alone. It isn't worth it unless you're certifiably insane like I am.
