Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #60 Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition Master of Light Complete all other Trophies in Spirit of the North Dificulty: 3/10 Fun: 8/10 I've played quite a few indie games, some great some... yeah. Thankfully Spirit of the North is one the great ones. I just installed this game out of curiousity. I did look at this game before and feeling intrigued but I did not have the money for it, so I am very glad that it is available on Playstation Plus Extra. As always I will start with the positives: + The design of the fox, both in spirit and normal form is great, I did choose a skin to change into later, but honestly most skins are great. + The light effect is beautiful, especially in chapter 7, I seriously loved that glow. + The mosic was quite soothing, and I am all for it. + Loved the ending, it was nice and pretty. + Big fan of the abilities, especially the spirit dash. The cons: - Sometimes the controls just didn't do what I pressed. - Some of the collectibles were annoying, thankfully there are good guides for it. I had some other things happening that I could talk about, but overal it's a great experience. I may have to check out to see if Infuse Studio has made any other game, because I am a big fan of this game. And here's the platinum screenshot, I love it:

Popular Post Kefka1986
Platinum #134 - No Man's Sky Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I've heard so many things about this game, how it started as a joke and was improved update after update and turned out to be awesome. Twitch was gifting some drops for the game and seemed like the perfect oportunity to give it a try... and hooooow happy I am that I did it This game captures perfectly the solitude of being alone in space exploring planets, every new galaxy, every new planet was full of amazing discoveries. You can create your own bases, your own ships, your own freights and fully decorate them, it has cooperative missions and tons and tons of content. The freedom of this game is sometimes overwhelming, but in a good way. While the graphics are great, the music is even better, it captures the emotion of each moment 100%. Even if the game (platinum-wise) was short, some moments of looking up, staring at the endless sky, and watching how alive the planets are, with their own animals their own plants, their own minerals.... they were perfect... very few games have provided me with this sense of immersion, of just forgetting that I was playing a videogame and feeling like a space traveler. I wasn't this amazed by a game since Kingdom Come: Deliverance (in which I spent over 200 hours, and without any regret!)

Popular Post RoxasOnFire
Plat 350: No Man's Sky (PS5) Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I have the PS4 plat at launch, lost my save (thankfully) so I was forced to play again without autopop. I'm glad I didn't have the temptation to autopop since the gane finally felt like the game they promoted it to be. I could have done much more outside of trophy requirements (like building more on my freighter) but I feel like I actually enjoyed the game this time around. I actually played with a friend for a lot of the game so that was cool to do even though he despises trophies and complained everytime I wanted to work on some lol. Popular Post its_ArchroniX
#55- Black The Fall - PS4 Doubt the State There’s no place like home ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Enjoyment: 6.8/10 Difficulty (IMO): 2/10 Time: Around 6 hours Rarity: 37.6% Rare (PSN) / 81.28% Common (PSNProfiles) I’m going to try and not review this game like IGN reviewed it by constantly comparing the game to Inside. Which is a valid comparison but it wouldn’t be fair towards either on of these games. Yes they share similarities in gameplay, the fact that there’s no spoken words in the entire game and a that the story/ setting is slightly the same but I still think they’re 2 different games altogether. What I personally like most in Black The Fall were the puzzles and how you have to figure it out on your own and get out of room/area or get further. The game doesn't hold your hand, and I like that. That may be partly why I like Dark Souls games so much. The puzzles are never too difficult and there have only been a few puzzles where I really had to look up where to go in order to continue. The atmosphere of the game is dark and grim, sometimes a little too dark since I had to turn up the brightness of the game to be able to see anything at all in some areas. Nonetheless, I think it is a cool atmosphere that gives you a constant grim feeling. You don't really know what's going on in the world you're walking around in but that mystery adds something to the bleak atmosphere and that's something that kept me playing. I would recommend the game to people looking for a cool puzzle/ platform game that definitely has some traits of Inside, Limbo or Little Nightmares, but manages to present its own unique game. The platinum trophy is very easy to come by and a simple playthrough could get you the platinum, provided you keep your eyes open for various collectibles scattered throughout the game.

Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #130 - LEGO DC Super-Villains (EU) Here's to Mischief - Collect all the trophies 45,845 Owners - 8,313 Achievers for a percentage of 18.13% (average completion; 23.76%) Enjoyment; 7/10 Difficulty; 2/10 Trophies; 6/10 (tiles and titles fun enough, requirements okay but boils down to a collectathon) SHAZAM!; 10/10 Oh look, another LEGO game. Do these really need an introduction any more? After the series made its debut in 2005 with the original LEGO Star Wars, the core formula of these games has changed very, very little. I've mostly only played the bite-sized Vita versions - which were really just upscaled ports of the 3DS games - of many of the games that released during the PS3 era so I assumed significant improvements had been made in the thirteen-and-a-half years between LEGO Star Wars' release and LEGO DC Super Villains coming out, but very few were forthcoming. Yes, you've got a relatively big and relatively dense hub you can mess around in while inbetween story levels, and yes, the side-activities in said hub do increase the amount of content offered by this game, but ultimately the secondary diversions boil down to very simple and unimaginative fetch quests and other such trite activities while the story levels still follow the exact same blueprint as the first LEGO game in this style. There aren't more of them either, not really anyway; fifteen main story missions, like LEGO Star Wars, and five very short post-game levels that can be completed in mere minutes. The six overpriced DLC levels, each with five of their own Trophies, don't do much to diversify proceedings either, and sit inbetween the main story and post-game levels in terms of length. So yup, just another LEGO game - although it gets few small bonus points for the two of the DLC packs being based on the excellent Shazam! movie of yesteryear, which is still my favourite capeshit flick of the past two decades (it has just the right level of humor and just the right tone for its absolutely ridiculous premise - highly recommend giving it a watch). Perhaps I should look at the game from a slightly less critical perspective given how its main audience consists of youngish children, but then there are enough references, easter eggs, and gags sprinkle throughout to strongly imply that the developers also had a slightly older audience with a more thorough appreciation of the source material beyond 'Batman so cool!!!1!11!1one!' in mind. The game also comes with an expansive suite of character creation options, but I found myself leaving it to the wayside as the game comes with hundreds of playable heroes and villains from DC's storied history. You are forced to use a custom character throughout the story as your mute protagonist plays an integral role in the plot, but whenever I had a free choice of character, I would default to Sinestro, Shazam, and a few others to ensure I had the full suite of powers needed to solve the game's simple puzzles (if you can even call them that). Apart from the stale formula and one grievance with the story (it kept ham-fisting extremely uninteresting cutscenes with Lois Lane into the narrative), I don't really have a reason not to recommend this game. But then, do you really need me to? It's a LEGO game, you know what you're getting into. They often stand or fall based on their subject matter so if you are a fan of comic books in general or DC in particular you'll enjoy this one a bit more than some of the other titles in the series. It's a straightforward Plat and the entire Trophy list is much rarer than it should be due to the game having been included as a monthly game with PS Plus in December '21, but do note that you will have to buy the season pass to get 100%. It regularly goes on sale for just a few bucks though, so stick it on your wishlist and bide your time. I'm off for a few weeks now, happy gaming to all in the mean time!
Popular Post Jermster_91
#109 Jak II (PS3) After nearly 8 years and 5 months since getting my first trophy on Jak II for the PS3, I now have the Platinum! Started the game at a time when I was trying to play mostly Sony first party games such as Uncharted, God of War and Rachet and Clank at the time. Didn't really care too much about getting all or for that matter most of the trophies that I could back then. I did have to use the Debug cheat for a majority of the trophies however since it had been awhile since I last played the game. Will I go for another PS3 game that I started back in the day but never got the Platinum for, we shall wait and see. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#396: More than a refugee I actually liked this one, at least as a gameplay experience detached from its intent. Definitely very indy, in the way it looks and controls, but to me, it holds more charm than most high-budget games nowadays. I counted one annoying spot in the game, where you try and break out of a prison, but the rest of it was smooth sailing. It's subject matter though is where the game gets iffy. TLDR, its a game about a refugee escaping war-torn Syria and heading toward a new life in Europe. One of the trophies even says "You beat the game and learned to get into the shoes of a refugee." And I ask myself, "did I learn what it was like? Did you really show me, game?" I guess the problem I had with it was, it isn't REAL enough. There are elements that I can identify a refugee going through, but everything else is very "video gamey". Platforming, item collecting, and most noticeable of all, incredibly easy difficulty. How much am I supposed to learn about the deadly dangers of police and Enforcers that imprison refugees when the only consequence is being set back SLIGHTLY in your level progression with these guards none the wiser? What if instead they shot you? Potentially killed you, or someone you knew? Sure, the game would be much more darker and harsh, but is that not the life of a refugee? So yeah, as a semi-serious but mostly fantastical game of adventure it's fine. As a game meant to illustrate what refugees go through? I can't recommend it for that. Popular Post Valzentia
#85 - MultiVersus Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 9/10 This is the closest we'll get to Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion 2. And honestly? I'm cool with that. This takes everything about that game (my 59th plat) and improves upon it in every conceivable way other than the story mode, and that's only because MultiVersus has no story mode. The hardest part right now is spike ringouts, but I believe that eventually Warner Bros. is going to patch the game to disable matchmaking trophies in custom games, which is gonna cause the rarity of this to skyrocket since it's a microtransaction-using F2P game. Trophies aside though, this game is a fucking blast and I highly recommend playing it, even if it's just for fun.
