Popular Post antithesis
#65 Platinum Trophy Heavy Fire: Afghanistan I couldn't let the month slip by without at least one Plat... I bought Heavy Fire: Afghanistan because it reminded me of the old Delta Force and DF: Black Hawk Down games from the early noughties. I wanted something to play with my seriously neglected Move Sharp Shooter, so HF:A fit the bill. My first attempt at playing the game was via the DualShock and to be perfectly honest, it's pretty hard to find a game with worse controls. However, bang the Move and Nav controllers into a Sharp Shooter and it transforms into a slick little cover-based rail shooter in the same vein as Time Crisis and Dead Space Extraction. HF:A is a lightweight title with poor graphics and dumb-as-dogshit A.I (which is to be expected), but set your bar low and it's a surprisingly fun game with a bit of replay value. It doesn't hurt that the Plat is short and sweet and although it's definitely a stats padder, I found it a good excuse to dust off the Move controls. Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Infamous Second Son - a plat so easy they might as well give you it for booting the game! Quite good fun in a brainless kind of way tho - and it looks very nice
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#16 - Imperium (Mercenary Kings!) It was a long slog to finally get this Ultra rare plat, but it was so worth it. Maybe not the epitome of a 'next-gen' game in terms of graphics, story, connectivity (the online connections weren't that great, haha), but there's no denying that it was a LOT of fun, and VERY addictive! I must have spent 10 hours alone on grinding levels just to get materials to build the guns I wanted; I even wrote a list of all the gun parts I wanted and all the materials I needed to make them, so I could cross them out after I finally made them Highly recommended as a side-scrolling shooter, lots of personality and funny references to other games (read those gun and knife descriptions!). Awesome stuff! Edited April 29, 2014 by FluffyAssassin64
Popular Post REDSHIRT64
#52 Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition PS4 I was overly excited when they re-released this phenomenal game on the PS4 because I played the hell out of the PS3 version. This game has broke my top 10 games of all time as I find it to be quite brilliant! The controls are tight and accurate just like the PS3 version and game looks noticeable better graphically. The game is identical to the PS3 version with the exception of an added collectible that is not hard to find since there is a HUGE glowing photo of the collectible above the chest it resides in. Also impossible to miss due to having to find all the LOOT anyway for another tropy. Did my typical runthroughs of the campaign trying to get the highest score possible. The endless survivor mode is quite the challenge to survive to round 10 though.. Very gratifying to hear that gold trophy pop! Overall not a hard platinum and I dont expect it to stay ultra rare for long... Always remember the best guns to have are: Rifle, Blade Cutter, Shocker and Launcher! Full upgraded shocker decimates all Big Thanks to bmj14772 for the quick braindead co-op run for gold trophy! Plat Difficulty: 6/10 - the dual stick shooter controls are not for everyone Fun Factor: 10/10 - All bloody zombie hell breaks out and it is great! Popular Post GarciaFever
#86 - South Park: Stick of Truth I would have earned the platinum with just one playthrough, but at one point my buddy died and I ran out of tacos to revive him. So one I finished the game while getting everything else (while playing as the Jew), I did a speed run with my mage. For those of you whom play this game for the first time, the Jew is (at the moment) the best class to pick because of his one ability (the Circum-scythe) which cuts the enemy's armor down to half and applies other debuffs.

Popular Post Naoto Shirogane
Unit 13 13-Star General It was a pretty easy platinum trophy and it was free on PS Plus as well. Overall, the game was alright although enemy shotguns and explosives were pretty annoying at some points. The stealth was pretty weird at some points as well. It was a fun ride I admit but I only played it because I didn't feel like playing my other PS Vita games. Have a nice day!
Popular Post Razza
# 69 Tomb Raider Legend - Master Of Tomb Raider Legend This is a very enjoyable game to play. I haven't played a Tomb Raider game since Tomb Raider 2 on my old PS1 back when it was first released but playing it felt so smooth and easy to control. The control system is very similar to the one used by the Uncharted series which I was very comfortable with using there isn't any hard trophies in this game just a slight annoyance with having to go back through the game to collect the collectibles but this seems to be a trend going on with games of this category and I don't feel like it will change anytime soon but nonetheless this game is great and still looks amazing for a HD remake Edited April 29, 2014 by razza123-
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 15 Batman Arkham Asylum - Platinum Trophy Probably my proudest Platinum so far. For anyone having trouble with the combat challenges, I definitely recommend that you select either Easy or Normal difficulty for the story, because I believe that also determines the difficulty for the challenge rooms as well. Yes, that does mean that you have to play through the game again on Hard, but with a game this good, I really didn't mind lol.

Popular Post Kittens Are Awesome
45 Platinum Trophy 27, including the platinum, out of 43 trophies are ultra rare in this game. I was very surprised about that. I was unaware that this game was on PSN. I saw it show up on the 75th anniversary of DC comics sale. I've been eyeballing this game for some time. I guess it showing up on PSN just pushed me to buy it. Awesome game! I had a lot of fun getting this plat. The combo challenges are just right in the middle of difficulty. There are two views on the story mode. Both views revolve around the same event. Of course, we get a MK universe view and then a DC universe view. The story mode and challenges alone make it worth picking up this game. Also, you get to play as some of the most awesome DC characters. My only complaint would be the "fatalities" as well as the crappy netcode for the online MP. I put "fatalities" in quotes because they weren't really fatalities. MK1 had more brutal and awesome fatalities than this game. However, I'm ok with that. On the flip side, I was really disappointed to see that the netcode in this game was terrible. Oh well. Overall, really happy with the game. I definitely recommend it. Edited April 30, 2014 by PRARPIN

Yeah... if you are one of those people who are awesome at fighting games. I have the game, and aside from the fatalities and completing arcade with everyone, I have to do the challenges for all of the fighters, and it pisses me off because I easily lose my patience trying to input the damn commands, only to realize that I might be maybe like 0.5 seconds off (maybe less) for the moves to connect. It's games like that which I want to avoid like the plague.
fabmorais_2011
Awesome game! I had a lot of fun getting this plat. The combo challenges are just right in the middle of difficulty. Cool, congrats. I think I'll go for it as soon as I clean up some other games first. I've already got the MP ones prior to the servers shutdown announcement, because I though it was coming anyway and feared that no one would be playing it online anymore. Just one thing: do you have any tips for the Kombo Challenges? I've tinkered with them a little and they seemed harder than you make it seem. Popular Post antithesis
#66 Platinum Trophy Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear And that's the sequel out of the way...2 days, 2 Plats and a somewhat satisfying end to an otherwise dry month. Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear improves upon its predecessor with better graphics, better controls, better level design, better enemy A.I...better in every way except perhaps what passes for a story. I'm guessing it had something to do with the Iranians and a nuke, but the voice acting was so terrible I didn't bother to find out. I'd go so far as to say this is the best rail shooter I've ever played. Not a big call since the on-rails niche is so small and I haven't given Dead Space Extraction much of a chance, but what it does, it does well, and the game just feels right with Move controls and a Sharp Shooter. The only blatant negative is some of the quick time events -- where you push the controller up, down or rotate sideways -- don't always register and frequently lead to your death. But it's an inconvenience rather than a game-breaker given the copious use of checkpoints and extremely short levels (5 to 8 mins long), so the most you lose is a minute of your time. Overall, Shattered Spear is not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but it is great fun with a Sharp Shooter and worth the $9 I paid for the 3 or 4 hours of entertainment I got out of it. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#28 - Heavy Rain Finally wrapped this one up. All in all a really good game, with an interesting approach to it. Good balance of choices that influence the outcome of the game. A few graphical glitches and clipping issues here and there, are my only minor complaints. The major complain is reserved for unskippable credits. If it was a game that had one or maybe two endings, I'd be ok with not being able to skip them, but having to go through the credits a good 7 times is just taking the piss.

Just one thing: do you have any tips for the Kombo Challenges? I've tinkered with them a little and they seemed harder than you make it seem. @Garcia - Yea, I used to live near an arcade as a kid that was a testing location for SNK and Capcom fighting games. I got pretty good at them for a nice long stretch. Besides, once you've done SSF4 and KoF13 combo trials, MKvsDC are a walk in the park. As far as tips go, check out the vids that Tenchu linked to under the MKvsDC forum section. They helped with some timing issues I had on a couple of them. Also, I had an issue with Shang Tsung's 10th trial. I just threw in an extra slide-kick-launch pro move to make it easier to link the last part. Just get creative with them. As long as you get all the attacks to link in the combo, the game doesn't care if you throw in extra moves. Good luck!
