Popular Post Undead Wolf
#424 - Dead Space Extraction Man Up Sweetheart Unlock all trophies So I'm a big Dead Space fan. I played the original trilogy back on Xbox 360 when they were releasing, and again on PS3 years later where I went on to platinum them all. This game totally passed me by though for whatever reason, maybe because I didn't think I'd like a rail shooter. It was originally a Wii game, but it got ported to PS3 later on to make use of the PlayStation Move. Thankfully, you can also use a regular DualShock 3, and that's how I played it. But man, this game is way better than is way better than I expected it to be. I was really into the story and how it ties into Dead Space 1 & 2. It's cool how you get to see life on the colony just as things go to shit, and later on, you get to see how the Ishimura was shortly before Isaac arrives in the first game. I also liked the cast of characters and the fact that you're teamed up with them for pretty much the whole game. It gives it a totally different feel to the other Dead Space games, especially 1 & 2, where Isaac is a one man army and mostly just communicates with the other characters over the video feed. Having played this game myself now, it also gives me a whole new perspective on Dead Space 2's Severed DLC which continues the story of this group (or what's left of them). The gameplay was good too. I've played the Resident Evil rail shooters on PS3, but I'd say I had more fun with this one overall. Dismembering enemies is as satisfying as ever. Nothing to really complain about as far as the trophies go. You've got to play through the story twice, one of which is on the hardest difficulty. I barely even noticed the difficulty bump on my second playthrough. This is a very easy game as far as I'm concerned. I only died once on my first playthrough, and that wasn't due to running out of health, but because I was too slow bolting up a door which lead to an insta-kill. ? You need to 5-star each of the 10 missions, and you do that by playing well, such as not taking much damage, having good accuracy, picking up lots of items, etc. I managed to get 5-stars on every mission except two on my first playthrough, and it was a simple enough job going back to get those on my 2nd playthrough. It doesn't require you to play perfectly. You also need to get all the collectibles/upgrades in the various levels. Some can be a bit tricky since you only have a brief window to get them, but so long as you're aware of when it's coming up and the general area, that's not too bad either. Separate from the main campaign are these challenge rooms where you have to beat the high score on each one to get a trophy. You rack up points by doing stuff like dismembering the enemies and not getting hit in-between kills to get a combo going. I found these to be pretty trivial by using the fully upgraded Force Gun. So long as you switch to it whenever an enemy gets close, it's pretty easy to avoid getting hit. The score you have to beat is pathetically low, and I was regularly getting double that by the end. Sometimes even 3 or 4 times the amount needed. Again, this game is very easy. It felt really nice to have this fresh new Dead Space experience in 2022. I'm glad I finally played it.
Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #65 Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus True Thievius Raccoonus Fun: 7.5/10 Difficulty 3/10 Sadly no idea how long it took me because it's a streamed game. So the Sly games were a series that I wanted to play for ages, I love InFamous and I am a big fan of Ghost of Tsushima so I really wanted to experience the Sly games. So I was really glad when they've announced the Sly games for PS+ Prenium. And I can say that after the first game there's a lot of stuff that I absolutely love about this game but sadly there's also some stuff that really left a bad taste in the mouth, still I highly recommend it. Let's start with the positives: + The platforming was really solid, it started really simple but over time I got so many techniques that really added to the platforming experience. + I loved collecting the abilities, they were a great way to handle the abilities. + I like that there was a life farming spot in the first hub. + The music was pretty good. + The bosses were awesome both as a design and to battle. +I love how unique all 4 hubs were. + While very much of its time, I enjoyed the voice acting and I like that they gave Sly a personality from the get-go. + I loved that I could really feel growth with the final boss. + I also love that every world/episode felt a bit like a morning cartoon. But like I said I have some negatives: - While there are a lot of abilities to collect, a lot of them feel very situational or comepletely useless. - I also don't like that one of them was a postgame ability, thankfully I saw no reason to use it. - It was kind of a shame that the 5th episode was not like the other 4, no hub, just level to level. - And now my big problem with this game... the minigames. Something I don't get about Playstation platformers from that era is that they need to be filled with races or minigames, both Jak and Dexter & this game had this while with Jak it wasn't as much, until Jak II happened, this game had a lot. And most of them were just frustrating (looking at the burning torches and especially the races). Now I don't really mind it with speedruns because they make use of the platforming and the arsenal of the character but with (yet again) Jak & Sly Cooper they're either a shooting minigame (that one I liked actually), a race or a vehicle shooter just to name a few and it just felt frustrating. I love this game but I hate the minigames because they feel like a step down from the solid platforming. - And the sad part is that the final episode felt like the majority was filled with minigames. But even though I complained quite a bit, I really like this game, I am not sure if or when I'll play the next game, but I am glad that I at least gave the first game a chance. Sadly there's no platinum screenshot becauuse it was a streamed game.
Popular Post Trancexistence
#19 - What Remains of Edith Finch This for me was a 10/10 game and having played through the PS4 version previously, it was a pleasure to replay the PS5 version with the added bonus of a platinum trophy. What Remains of Edith Finch is an emotional game that sees the title character return to her abandoned childhood home for the first time in 7 years, wherein we discover the fates of her various family members told in the form of shorter mini stories of varying length. Lewis, Barbara and Walter's stories were a highlight for me and I loved the different styles of storytelling used across all of them. The house itself is a joy to explore too and is beautifully detailed. First person exploration games aren't for everyone, but if you enjoy them then you owe it to yourself to play this one. No longer here
#177 and 100%- Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Rating/Enjoyment: 7/10 (Zombies carried) Difficulty: 7/10 Time: 250+ Hours PSNP Rarity: 0.61% PSN Rarity: 0.1% Well this game was something else, but I found more fun in it than I was expecting. Met some cool people, the easter eggs for zombies was great to do, and for the most part things were enjoyable! The gameplay imo is a little lackluster coming from BO3, but it was still fun enough to play. The zombies is more accessible than ever and is also easier as well. A lot of the maps I liked, some I love and some I dislike, I would dive into more detail but that will be a essay lol. Overall, the zombies experience made the 100% worth it! The blackout, well, it is was sometimes fun, frustrating but the help of others and friends made this worth doing. But I have to admit, took me two weeks to get all characters and thought it would take longer! So for those of you who are struggling, push through! I would recommend this game especially for the zombies!! I think it's good and the most underrated in the series! So much hate undeserved! #178 - Rollerdrome (PS5) Rating/Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time: 15 Hours PSNP Rarity: 9.11% PSN Rarity: 0.6% This game has a unique gameplay that should intrigue many others! The gameplay is literally Tony Hawk, Max Payne, with a goal of setting your combos high for high scores!! The soundtrack is good and catchy, and the enemy types, while few, were fun to combat against using different weapons, tricks. Only thing I wish this game had more of was more design in some levels and more boss fights! I see this game thriving even better with more boss fights as they were already awesome in the game! The game is as fast paced you make it to be! The best part of this game being able to take control and and play by your own pace with the gameplay! Awesome indie game I recommend!

SoapMacTavish222
#422 The Last of Us Part 1 on PS5 So I had already done it on PS3 and PS4 and wanted to see how much of a difference there was on the PS5 version. It does look very good and runs incredibly smooth with no load times at all. They got rid of the multiplayer for this one. Left Behind is already rolled into the game as well which is nice. But if I'm being 100% honest, it's definitely not worth the $70 they're charging for it brand new unless you have never played it before. Trophies have been made MUCH easier on this game because they have taken out all difficulty related trophies and you're also not required to beat it on NG+. So literally everything can be done in 1 playthrough with a collectibles guide.
Popular Post Valzentia
#100 - One Piece: Unlimited World Red Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 8.5/10 ONE HUNDRED PLATS! God it feels good. I actually looked up speedruns and practiced speedrun techniques for this game on other platforms a while back because I was quite excited to get to 100 plats and decided that this would be the special 100. Even played the game for 20+ hours near-straight at one point (taking breaks only to drink, use the restroom, and take a small nap), meaning that I have probably gone too far. It's a fun little beat 'em up if you're a One Piece fan, and even if you aren't you might still get some enjoyment out of it. It isn't canon to the story of One Piece as a whole, though the game does assume you have cursory knowledge of the series.

[14.97% RARE] Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Pretty easy platinum but i'm dissapointed about the game to be honest...so sad, the game had so much potencial... Weak plot, i expected the religious cult narrative to expand over the game but it never does, no character development, no back story, hunting is pointless and money is pretty much useless in the game as well. The game have too many in-your-face monologues, and the ending?... Spoiler just a lazy plot twist that nullify all the progression made in the game. Some of the things that i liked: -Really awesome cast of companions, they are useful and unique. -The game looks great! -Everything about Faith was enjoyable...the best part of the game. -Some of the quest are really great. -No more climbing f**ing towers every 10 minutes! thanks god. -Clutch Nixon!! Popular Post Sunny
# Platinum 226 - Mortal Kombat 11 * I grew up playing MK2 and UMK3 so the franchise is very nostalgic to me, MK11 allowed me to revisit many areas of klassic MK while exploring the krypt and that made the game win my heart, I truly enjoyed my time with MK11, the graphics are amazing, the background really well-done and the soundtrack is equally amazing, the kombat tho felt a bit clunky especially compared to MKX, in that one I felt like I had more freedom with combos while in MK11 they felt more standard, by that I don't mean to say it's bad it's just different, platinum wise this is the easiest Netherrealm game to platinum, the most dreaded part which is always the online portion for me was painless and stress free, there was some spicy grind towards the end but nothing too bad, all in all a very nice platinum journey.
