JEDI_BROTHERS
#87-88 Pinball Heroes Pretty fun and nostalgic Pinball game. Very simple trophies and if you do it right it should take an hour and a half or so. I enjoyed seeing the old school ps3 franchises (most of which are dead sadly) and I had fun with the little minigames that were in the tables #89 Bunny Raiders Short game, took an hour and a half with a random partner. I highly recommend having another person with you as it makes it way easier. I enjoyed my short time with both stacks and recommend this if you want a easy free platinum.
Popular Post kkulifay
Titanfall 2 (PS4) Where do I start? The campaign is an absolute treasure! One of my favorite FPS games of all time and one of the best games that I’ve played in 2022. The MP trophies were a breeze and I even stuck around after the MP trophies because the matches were surprisingly fun. That part was a breeze! Played the campaign in one play-through on the master difficulty. Beat it legit from start to end. No glitches! It was difficult, but the generous checkpoints and health recharge feature made it very doable. Once you attain the ability to cloak and realize that you don’t have to kill every enemy to advance, it made it even easier. I found myself running away from conflict more than facing it head-on lol. You want to know what really kicked my arse though? The infamous gauntlet trial! I don’t care if I get laughed at or judged, but the “Becomes The Master” trophy is the most difficult bronze trophy that I’ve ever earned. It took me three days and probably 100 attempts. It was mere madness. I knew I could do it, but I was always like .10 seconds off or a grenade would randomly not kill a dummy when I’d finally cross the finish line in time. If you miss a single enemy, you get penalized by adding precision seconds to the clock. My wrists started to lock up one night too because I couldn’t stop playing haha. Never had a game do that to me. It’s physically demanding on the hands, trust me! When I achieved it today in 33.20 seconds, I thought I was going to cry haha. It was an emotional moment because I got close sooooo many times. It was more difficult than any of the Dying Light parkour speed run trophies. I say that because you’re adding the elements of shooting, grenade tossing, and the extreme focus on the level design’s nuances, like wall angles, to the mix. This was a banner week for trophy hunting. If I didn’t get the platinum for Titanfall 2 by Christmas, it would’ve been my grinch this year ?. Thanks for listening! Next Up? AC: The Ezio Collection (I see you 100% synchronization) Stray (My kids love watching me play it so far. Love to include an Indie to the mix) COD: Modern Warfare 2 PS5 (because my buddies won’t stop bugging me to play it with them).

I was not disappointed at all A little bit challenging at a few parts, but overall it was was quite the fun experience. I will probably be playing more of these games in the future.

I haven't played that much. Now, if only i could reset the Artemis quest... EDIT: looks like my only hope to reset that quest is to travel to another galaxy. Oh well... Popular Post Jelly Soup
Platinum #165 - Dauntless The game is cross-platform, so this was also a 100% for the PS4 & XBox versions. And I guess Epic & Switch as well if achievements are ever added to those versions. I loved this game. I've been semi-regularly playing since I first 100%'d the PS4 version a year or two ago. It's hard to explain really, but think Monster Hunter but with way less fluff and a friendly community. Do recommend. If you're not sure, take advantage of the cross-platform nature and play somewhere you don't care about first.

Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
Hello again, almost 2 months have passed since my last post here and I'm happy to say that I've finished all my gaming goals this year: Finish one Ultra Rare Cleanup Tier, Finish 2 Platinum Difficulty Challenge lists and finally, my 300th plat milestone: Hyper Light Drifter Soulslike? No, Bloodbornelike. This excellent little gem is basically 2D, 16bit Bloodborne and its just as hardcore. Trophy wise, however, it's a pretty awful list. It's collectibles hell (180+ and no way to track them) and has one of the worst trophies I've encountered in all of my trophy whore years: "The Dash Eternal". A sequel has been announced, Hyper Light Breaker, so let's just hope they make a list that doesn't give people aids for once! Game Rating: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 Time to Platinum: 25h (heavily dependant on The Dash Eternal and how efficient your collectibles hunt is) Recommended: Yes, great game! Bayonetta (Remaster) "Don't fuck with a witch" - Bayonetta One of my favorite hack n' slash games ever that I decided to re-plat on better hardware happens to be just as epic and batshit insane as I remembered it. Hopefully Kamiya gets what he wants and we get to experience Bayonetta 2 and 3 on PlayStation one day... Game Rating: 9/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 Time to Platinum: 25h Recommended: Let's dance, boys! The Sexy Brutale Fun, inventive and thrilling fantasy murder mystery that somehow flew under everyone's radars is filled with silly chibi deaths and Hitchcock-ian plot twists... if he was into fantasy, that is... Game Rating: 7/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 Time to Platinum: 8-10h Recommended: Yes. Xenon Valkyrie+ From the same mind behind "Riddled Corpses EX" comes Xenon Valkyrie+, a game about... something, idk, I wasn't invested. Disappointing really. RC EX is way better. Game Rating: 5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 Time to Platinum: 10h Recommended: No. Alan Wake After thoroughly enjoying Control, I decided to finally check Alan Wake out following the confirmation that they exist in the same universe annnnd I liked it a lot. Sadly, Alan Wake is an excellent game held back by dated gameplay and baffling gameplay mechanics. This was almost perfect... If Control has 'Take control', Alan Wake has 'Old Gods of Asgard' Can't wait for Alan Wake 2. Game Rating: 8/10 Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 Time to Platinum: 25h 100% Difficulty: 5/10 Time to 100%: +10h Recommended: Yes! Crysis (Ps3) Talking about the ps3's shortcomings on a game like this is quite... mean... there's a reason "Can it run Crysis?" became such a meme in the PC community, y'know. So, technical aspects aside, I must say the game doesn't really have much to offer: It's fun for a while until you realize its repetitive... but then everything changes... Good right? A much needed change, right? No. Shortly after you wish it was back to it's repetitive first half... And then the final boss, oh my God, one of the worst boss fights I've suffered through. Game Rating: 5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Time to Platinum: 15h Recommended: No. No Thing I don't know how to begin with this... Price I guess? I got this for 19 cents on a sale so expecting greatness from less than one fifth of a dollar is unreasonable even so I was only expecting for the worst yet somehow that didn't happen. Shocking, I know but it was... mediocre? But yet again, mediocrity might have been their goal from the very beginning. It's not good neither but let's just say a higher budget might have made this memorable. Game Rating: 5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Time to Platinum: 8h Recommended: No. But its like 50 cents... Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order AAA Soulslikes are very rare. For a reason. Did this pay off? Sort of. There are many things I liked but there are also several things I hate. Even stuff that I hate from the movies have invaded the gaming community. Most notoriously the stupid cameos. Guess we can't have originality since everything leads up to Darth Vader... Ohhh... Spoilers? Not really, its just an unrelated cameo that they tried to pass as the climax... I mean, its Rogue One all over again. Oh well, hopefully the sequel will be better on that regard. Still liked it. Game Rating: 6/10 Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Time to Platinum: 35h Recommended: Maybe? lol #300 Catherine #300 Wish the ps3 could take screenshots... My third Catherine platinum is also my 300th platinum. Catherine (NA) was my 100th, Catherine Full Body (Ps4) was my 200th and now Catherine (EU) is my 300th. Technically there are two more Catherine stacks but I think I'll be using something else for my next milestones, I think its time to let this tradition go. As for the game, I love it, it's one of my favorites and I would like to see a sequel someday. Game Rating: 10/10 Platinum Difficulty: 8/10 (for newcomers) Time to Platinum: 60h (for newcomers) Recommended: Hell yeah! Anyways, see you all later... or next year, idk, I might manage to squeeze one more platinum before 2023. Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #136 & Platinum #137 Grand Theft Auto: Vice City [PS4] & Grand Theft Auto: Vice City [PS5] Kingpin - Unlock all trophies. [PS4] Kingpin - Unlock all trophies. [PS5] 19,841 Owners - 3,455 Achievers for a percentage of 17.41% (Rare) (average completion; 26.12%) [PS4] 17,900 Owners - 3,026 Achievers for a percentage of 16.91% (Rare) (average completion; 26.05%) [PS5] Enjoyment; 8/10 Difficulty; 3/10 Trophies; 8/10 (nice use of key art, congruent theming, most annoying Trophy has been nerfed) I played the same game twice AND ENJOYED IT; 10/10 Hi, I am absolutely nuts. Exhibit A supporting that statement taken from my Trophy log; Yeah, so, the newly updated/butchered version of Vice City is only on PS Plus Extra until early 2023, and I figured that if I played both stacks I would never really have to buy either the PS4 or PS5 versions of the very poorly remastered 'Definitive' Grand Theft Auto Trilogy, so I went through Vice City twice in the most bizarre way possible. Okay, so maybe I don't fully belong in a psych ward and more people do this, but every time I earned a Trophy on the PS4 version, I would switch over to the PS5 version and do the same thing there. So, essentially just doing a string of missions and activities on the one, and then repeating it on the other. I think it makes my log look interesting so there's that, and I actually really enjoyed constantly repeating things as I could try and constantly improve. Right now, I've spent about 5 hours less on PS5 than PS4, which I put down purely to these optimizations. Finding those Hidden Packages becomes a lot easier when you've found all of them already earlier in the day, and while I did not need that many mission retries having Platted the PS2 classics version of Vice City at the start of the year, I found I needed fewer still on PS5 than I did on PS4. Sure, you might go insane with this much repetition, but if you think you can handle it, I really recommend playing stacks of the same game in this manner for the challenge and fun of it. Also makes it really easy to compare the rarities of Trophies between both versions, you can just read it out like this. And yeah, I guess that for most of these Trophies, I've earned them three times in the same year now considering much of the list is copy+pasted from the PS2 version.... I have to say, Vice City is such an amazing game that playing it three times in such a short timespan did not grate at all - I thoroughly enjoyed every second of all three versions, apart from the Cannoli grind on the PS2 Classics version (if you've done it yourself, you'll know). Very happy to see the blue 'all completed' checkmark against the Vice City entry on the PSNP series page again. Now for the negatives; the 'Definitive' versions got a lot of shit for the way they were released, and you know what? It's all true. This is a very, very poor remaster that does not the pricetag attached to it. A new, poor, partially AI-generated lick of paint is all you get here, plus some updated controls. There's a weapon wheel now, plus a radio station selection wheel..... but I played it twice and I don't recall seeing either being explained. Only through looking at the controls in the pause menu did I realize they were there. How can you tout these two wheels as 'new' features and then just.... not call them out in game at all? No matter how brilliant Vice City and its siblings III and San Andreas are, they were janky and full of bugs back in the day, and none of those have been addressed. This means that the beneficial exploits (Cone Crazy, getting to the Mainland early with an ambulance against a gate, re-doing Checkpoint Charlie to cheese 100% completion) are still there, as are the detrimental ones (cops spawning in weird places, the dirt track races possibly messing with your completion). Honestly, I was shocked at how quickly the Definitive Edition stumbled - right out of the gates in fact. The fantastic classic intro was kept intact.... which is the problem. The intro uses game footage of the original 2002 version, and quite heavily at that, whereas the Defintive Edition is marketed on having a new polish. So to play the exact same intro with the classic grimey, dirty look and then being dumped into a very polished and cartoonishly coloured world is just jarring. Honestly, while I appreciate how much cleaner the city looks now (I really disliked what I felt was a dirt filter over every object back in the day), cutscenes are much worse now as every single character model looks like it's made out of a combination of play-dough and gummi. Animations have not been touched up, and you're left with a really uncanny mess. It's ironic. Rockstar developed the original Vice City in just a single year, and it went on to be regarded as one of the best games of all time and sold enough to be in the top ten best-selling games of the PS2 era. So to then be stuck with one of the poorest remasters in recent memory (floating in the midst of a sea of poor remasters at that) is quite painful. Don't get me wrong, I adored both playthroughs of this version from start to finish but that's entirely on the back of the base game being so damn good; the remastered version really only detracts from the experience. Heck, I was fuming when I realized that another one of the 'improvements' - a checkpoint system - was only added to story missions, and only extended to the very start of them. Barely a step up from the Trip Skip taxis that were already in the base game, as the new checkpoints really only let you keep your weapons. Why was this system not tied to Rampages and side activities as well? It's bizarre to think how little effort was expended, and even worse to then realize that Modern Rockstar/Grove Street Games (the numpties in charge of the remaster) and Take Two will have still earned a bazillion Dollars from this little quick and dirty exercise. Nonetheless, beneath that thin veneer of cheap paint is still a great, great game, and it remains free on PS Plus Extra until somewhere in February, so why not give one or both of the stacks a quick go? Despite the jank and all the missed opportunities and wasted potential, I've little doubt this will still be a compelling experience for most everyone - with a pretty decent Trophy list to match. If you have any questions or get stuck, do let me know - I've unlocked this Platinum three times now (and I'm still looking forward to the next cheap remaster with another list to do) ?️??️ Edited December 24, 2022 by Golem25
