Popular Post Bloke
Platinum #50 - Final Fantasy VII As I slowly work my way through my large list of games, I decided to play something easy going and enjoyable for my 50th Platinum. A fan favourite in the Final Fantasy series, one which I never played when I was a kid. My first experience of Final Fantasy was IX (which I intend on playing once I get the hang of jump rope), so VII was something I discovered as an adult. I have played this game 3 times and each time I get the same enjoyment from it. A great story from start to finish and plenty to keep you occupied, not a short game by any stretch. You can make this game easier on yourself by utilising 3x speed, no encounter and health regen/limit modifiers, however the game can be completed easily with some prep work like any other RPG. There are also plenty of duplication exploits to also make this easier, however there is a significant game breaking bug if you are not aware of it beforehand (if you are interested, search for Save Crystal Bug FF7, but beware of spoilers). I also intend on playing Final Fantasy VIII, IX and X/X-2 shortly, however as mentioned, need to practice jump rope a little bit more in IX. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Time: 1 Day, 5 Hours, 1 Minute Don't ask...

Popular Post Viper
#297 Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS5) Be Yourself Deck the Halls with Platinum Trophies...Merry Christmas PSNP! Not going to spend a lot of time on this one, I already got the Plat on the PS4 version as that was my last game I bought right before I got lucky and landed a PS5 back in 2021 (when it was still a headache to get one), I wouldn't have bothered with the PS4 version if I knew I was going to get it, so I know I already reviewed this. I love these games though, this and Spider-Man Remastered I decided to replay instead of Auto-popping. Played this specifically to get a Christmas Plat, and since it's Christmas time in the game, I thought it was even more fitting. A little mad though, I tried to get a really cool Platinum shot, so I saved the Photomode trophy for last, but it popped as soon as I selected my sticker rather than placing it. So it ruined what I was going for. Oh well it was a great playthrough again, and I can't wait for Spider-Man 2.
Popular Post Trancexistence
#31 - Ridge Racer This one has been near enough finished for a few days but I thought it would be nice to have a Christmas Day platinum on my account so I decided to leave one last race for today to pop the last trophy required. The original release of this game was pretty barebones and I remember it got bashed and received bad reviews at the time for that reason. I decided to invest in the Ultimate Edition from PSN which grants access to three times as many tracks and twice as many cars along with a ton of songs from older games in the series. I highly recommend grabbing this version instead of the normal one if you're interested in this game. The racing itself is enjoyable and I found the drifting fun but the lack of a career mode hurts it and players are left with only single races (offline and online) or time attacks to play in order to gain credits for upgrading cars through the engine map. Sadly the online servers are a wasteland which is kind of to be expected for a decade old Vita game. It's a real shame as with full lobbies I'm sure this game would be a blast. So this could well be my final platinum of the year unless I manage to get Sleeping Dogs finished but I'm going to try my best. Merry Christmas to those that celebrate ? Popular Post SoliDeoGloriaIHS
Christmas platinum. Number 71. Don't Ruin the Moment. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Difficulty: 3 to 4 out of 10 Fun: a solid 8 out of 10 at least. Time to platinum: 18 hours, 52 minutes according to in-game statistics. I LOOOOOOOVE Uncharted!! And I enjoyed this one every bit as much as every other one! The talk of a "reboot" makes me a little nervous. I would certainly welcome more adventures with Chloe and Nadine! I enjoyed them every bit as much as Nathan and Sully. If you've played any or all of the other Uncharteds, but haven't played this one yet, do yourself the favor and DO PLAY THIS! You won't be disappointed! Merry Christmas, everyone! God bless! 'Nuff said. 2 hours ago, Trancexistence said: #31 - Ridge Racer This one has been near enough finished for a few days but I thought it would be nice to have a Christmas Day platinum on my account so I decided to leave one last race for today to pop the last trophy required. Elvick_
Platinum #256 Santa's Xmas Adventure Santa Claus is coming to town!Collect all of Santa's trophies Typing this up pre-Christmas~ but Merry Christmas from the past (10th specifically). This was not what I expected, in a bad way. I expected a relatively simple and short sliding puzzle game. In reality it was overly long and so horribly ported to console that it outright doesn't work. Specifically the moving puzzles. I can't imagine how you are able to actually move the pieces fast enough to finish a lot of these levels normally. Santa walks so fast at best I could get 3 spaces moved, but some require 4 or more moves. How it works is you have to cursor over a piece, click x, then move it. The cursor is then put back to where the piece was previously, so you have to move the cursor again all while Santa tries to end his existence. It's a nightmare. Mercifully, the "hint" system works more like "show me how to finish" and prevents you from failure. Santa won't move without it. You get a hint for 10 minutes of 'play' time, so enjoy idling to finish 240 of these turd puzzles. In addition, by the way, there are turn limits on these puzzles which is silly to me. Plus, there's the added soft locking the game will do on these levels. Sometimes when you finish playing normally the game will both succeed and fail the puzzle, and the menu will be stuck on screen. Forcing you to close and reopen the game. Fun~ The main puzzles of getting 3 presents is actually fun, the second set is mainly just turn restricted and I'm not a fan of that honestly. And the balancing is so random. Some upper 100s have 3 turns and are piss easy. It makes no sense. I thought it would be a neat little game to try out for Christmas, but luckily I checked the list and realized it had 720 fucking levels to do so I had to start it early. No way you could complete that in a day. whee sdfo
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 82) ASTRO'S PLAYROOM YOU'VE ONLY DONE EVERYTHING Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 This game has no right to be as good as it is. Though it’s a free game with every PS5 I would have gladly paid money for it. Astro’s Playroom is an incredibly fun playthrough of the history of Playstation in some imaginative worlds. You play through four different worlds representing the different generations and meet most of the icons of the Playstation brand. The game is a feast of recognition and it’s great to see all of the artefacts which bring you back to earlier memories. I truly started my gaming journey with the PS2 and it was fun revisiting all of those amazing moments . The gameplay is so much better than I would have thought. It’s a short game, but the controls are great and the worlds that you go through are varied and interesting. There’s nothing groundbreaking in the game, but there really doesn’t need to be. They found a very clever way to pay homage to all of the different Playstation icons and it was fun to see if the ones from my favorite games would be among them as well. The Playstation Labo is a beautiful museum that you can run around in and they did a great job of making many of the objects and bots interactable. The trophies are all pretty simple and straightforward. When looking up how to get a trophy, you can usually get it within a few minutes. I got all of the collectibles without a guide as the levels are pretty short and it’s a lot of fun to explore. The speedruns were a nice challenge though none of them were too difficult. All in all, I absolutely enjoyed my time with Astro’s Playroom. It brought me back to a simpler time and I got that old feeling of just starting up a game and having fun. It may be my favorite launch title ever and it’s an incredible homage to everything Playstation . In my opinion, this is an absolute must-play for everyone that gets a PS5.

Popular Post Icebrand1270
PLATINUM 202 12/21/2022 TMNT Cowabunga Collection (PS4) What a thrill and what a trip back in time through what I played as a kid and what I missed along the way! This is 13 classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games from the Arcade, NES, Game Boy, SNES and Genesis eras. With an incredible list of "enhancements", rewind and save states, this makes the collection more manageable but still challenging. There are also soundtracka and concept art but also strategy guides and even the original instruction manuals. This is considered by many to be the greatest retro collection of all time... and I agree. As for trophies, beat each game and the Platinum is yours. Good to see trophy hunters weren't punished for wanting a platinum by something crazy like "beat each game without rewind or save states" but almost disappointing... almost. Fun Fact: my trophy screenshot for beating Fall of the Foot Clan (GB) trends on Live from PlayStation (PS4)! Order of games beaten Tournamen Fighters NES Fall of the Foot Clan (Game Boy) Back from the Sewers (Game Boy) Tournament Fighters Genesis TMNT Arcade Turtles in Time Arcade Tournament Fighters SNES Hyperstone Heist (Genesis) TMNT NES TMNT II NES Turtles in Time SNES Manhattan Project (NES) Radical Rescue (Game Boy)

RedRodriguez87
No use hiding it, it was a pretty cheap platinum haul this Christmas. Alot of the games I started couldn't be completed in time on my schedule, so I had to rely on shovelware. #430: Sugar King Pink platinums are pretty cool. #431: Christmas Break 2 Head to Head maste #432: Merry Christmas But oh well, keeping tradition of being active on the holidays at least. Hope all your holidays were great!!

Game has a few bugs but i still enjoyed it, especially those two driving sequences, there were pretty good. Multiplayer is now full of randoms trying to screw your boosting session beacuse of the shutdown notice so be aware if you cant lock a lobby with 12 players. Popular Post Darling Baphomet
192: TOEM (69.67%) TOEM is kind of perfect in its own way. It's an extremely short, charming indie game where you run around beautiful, blocky 3D environments doing quests (almost in a collectathon kind of way) to get stamps and progress to the next area, all the while taking photographs of characters, landscapes, and animals you meet. It's a very kid-friendly game, so there isn't a whole lot in the way of story or dialogue, but it more than makes up for it with style and charm. Definitely one of the better PS+ games this year. And the free DLC is a lovely little content update well worth playing, in some ways surpassing the main game. Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 119 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Sekiro Finally finish this game rather quicky with my busy schedule as expected. I kinda hate the game at first, just becasue of how hard it is. But in due time, I find to enjoy the game more as I get better in the game. In NG3 I was killing most of the enemy that giving me issue. Just a game that I really have to really focus on it. Anyway the story is pretty good, just if this is your first time, you may get lost of where to go or do next. That the only one of the issue I have. Other then that is the game is still very gamey sometime. So not gonna say this is the prefect game, but I will give credit to this as a decent game. Giving some Tips If you having hard time. Do take your time guard and learn the boss pattern. You will die alot too win the game. Other then that do use the prosthetic tools & Item. As this can make the game very easy ? Popular Post ukiukimidnite
#98 - Pinball Heroes Not bad. Some of the tables were a bit boring (Uncharted was my fav), but it was a nice game - and an easy platinum - overall. The tables are a mixture of very easy (I got the Wipeout trophy after one launch) and really tedious (Fat Princess was the worst for me). The rewind feature made things a lot easier anyway!
