Popular Post Sunny
# Platinum 232-Wonder Boy and The Cursed Kingdom- Platinum Hero - My first Monster Boy game was Monster Boy in Monster World for Mega Drive (Genesis) man and I loved that game immediately, the 2D RPG aspects reminded a lot of Zelda II and anything Zelda-esque is enough to get my attention, but Monster Boy was different, colorful, quirky and fun to boot, instantly became one of my favorite games ever, and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is the perfect successor, and managed to recapture the charm and colorfullness of the classics, the story is your run of the mill young hero save the world from evil trope but done right, it got me interested beginning to end, Jin the main character is very charismatic and that helps you immerse more in the world, gameplay wise it's a full blown metroidvania, the different forms Jin can use allow for a variety of different exploration, kinda like Shantae, playing as his other forms added much more depth to the gameplay be it with solving puzzles or just exploring, the graphics are amazing so full of charm, color and detail it's clear to see the devs put a lot of effort and love into the game, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing with great remixes and original tunes, I put my controler down just to vibe with the music whenever I got to a new location, trophy wise the game is super simple, it asks you to explore and collect all it has to offer, but the map helps a lot with tracking what was already collected, plus you can trade Rainbow Drops in a specific shop to mark unopened chest on your map so the mop up was pretty simple and straight forward, this is my favorite kind of platinum, fun, engaging and with trophies that are tied to things that will help you on your journey, I was honestly sad when the journey came to a close so I'm definitely getting the platinum again on the PS5 version in the future, couldn't recommend more, I loved this game to bits, can't wait for a new one in the franchise. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #257 Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+ Little Woodle, Awesome Trophies Collected All The Trophies first game was ass, but I figured I’d give the dev another chance… this one is kind of worse! It kept crashing constantly, the level design is god awful since it uses an open world with mostly empty space. I can’t believe I prefer the original game to this one, but that had proper levels at least. it sucks because he really nails the visuals, it’s got a very cute art design. And I feel like it could be a good series, but it just is frustrating as all hell to deal with this nonsense. I’m glad it’s over.

Popular Post ZitMeatloaf
#131 - The Gardens Between "Platinum Garden" Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 A short little puzzle game. I was looking for something quick and relaxing to play and this one fit the bill. Some of the puzzles are pretty clever, overall an enjoyable experience. #132 - Starlink: Battle for Atlas "Stellar" Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 A space shooter and planet exploration game, this one's light on story but the gameplay is quite fun. I played this game to satisfy the Real Time Strategy category for the Platinum every genre challenge. It's always a nice surprise when Ubisoft games end up being fun to play and the microtransactions can be completely ignored. The game is also a toys to life experience if you want it to be, but I ignored all of that too. #133 - Pinball Heroes "Pinball Wizard!" Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 The first PSP game to receive trophy support also happens to be the first PSP game I've ever played. I enjoy a pinball game every now and again; the trophy list for this one is quite a bit easier than most other pinball games, even without resorting to the rewind feature. The tables are pretty fun. #134 - Hot Wheels Unleashed "Hot Wheels" Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 A surprisingly excellent arcade-style racer, I enjoyed this one much more than I was expecting. The abundance of awesome looking Hot Wheels will take your right back to fun filled youthful days, if Hot Wheels were ever your thing even for a little bit. Self-boosting (my preferred method) or having an online boosting partner is highly recommended during the end game grind for coins and gears. #135 - The Messenger "I am The Messenger" Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 An homage to Ninja Gaiden and platformers of yore, this game is top-notch. It doesn't have the brutal difficulty of the 8-bit Ninja Gaiden games to which it pays tribute, but there are definitely some very challenging bits sprinkled in, especially in the free DLC. Fun gameplay, meta humor, and some kickass 8-bit and 16-bit music will have you smiling through the entire experience. Even when you die for the 15th time in a row.
Popular Post disaster500
#58 Worms Battlegrounds - 1.06% I've really liked the Worms games ever since I was a kid, so I'm glad to have a platinum of one on my account. It was so much fun playing against my brother back then, and the general gameplay loop is still as fun as ever with friends. I got 90% of the singleplayer trophies like 4 years ago, when I cared enough about trophies to go for them sometimes but would stop if anything was even somewhat annoying. This time it was online trophies. I cleaned up the remaining singleplayer trophies recently, and today I boosted the online trophies, which took about 1hr 15mins. The platinum definitely doesn't deserve to be this rare though. The 100% in this game is 0.43%, which is almost as rare as I Am Bread's platinum/100%. The trophy guide gives it 4/10 and 25 hours which sounds about right. I will also do Worms WMD as well at some point, but unlike Worms Battlegrounds I haven't finished 90% of the singleplayer, and WMD's trophies are a lot harder. From the sounds of it the online trophies in WMD are harder as well. Next platinum will probably be Skyrim though, I'm playing it currently. Popular Post Thrillhelm
85000th Trophy Injustice 2 After 160+ hours, of which at least 120 were AI grinding, there it is: another Netherrealm Studio platinum that is ugly to look at and was a pain to get. In the past Mortal Kombat and Injustice, as well as their PS3 crossover, had insanely difficult platinums. I found MKX doable, and so is Injustice 2, but Netherrealm had to keep a roadblock trophy that made it a grindfest. You need a certain ability for Catwoman out of the lootboxes (which can be bought with in-game currency) for a trophy. Basically you need to defeat the other catgirl in the game, Cheetah, with your pet cat. However, abilities are very low drops, and there's 30+ characters that could get an ability. So you're either lucky and pull out Cat Call from the first box - or never. There is a grindy way for a guaranteed Cat Call if you play Catwoman's Multiverse to the end, but some of the requirements include playing her for 50 hours, sacrificing tons of equipment and paying large amount of credits. Luckily all that can be grinded by letting the AI fight for you the multiverses, but we still talk about easy 80 to 100 hrs here. With the exception of some other grindy trophies (all characters from the base game need to be Level 20) there are no other hard or annoying trophies. Online is a breeze compared to other fighting games, but be prepared for quitters and spammers. You need three players or multiple consoles for a King of the Hill trophy (thanks to @Linkinniki for the help), but thats no big hurdle. Injustice 2 itself is a good fighting game. Sure you have your spam characters like Deadshot, Supergirl or Cyborg (you'll meet them online), but the basic fighting dynamics and cinematic events are great. There are lots of easter eggs for fans of the comics and cameo appearances. Whats great about the character roster is the fact that some like Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing (also Captain Cold and DLCs Sub-Zero) have the same theme but are totally different in style, they also swapped a lot of characters from the first game. DLC adds Raiden, the Ninja Turtles and Hellboy among others and they fit nicely into the game. You can button mash through the campaign but for online it is better you spend some time in the dojo, and make sure you always have your best equipment for your character. This game has a lot of content and despite its age a very active online community. Platinum difficulty is a 4/10 for me, and the game is easily an 8/10 in matters of fun.
Popular Post Jermster_91
#114 Assassin's Creed: Rogue Remastered (PS4) Assassin Creed Rogue is the first Assassin Creed game that I have finished since I last played Unity. I dabbled with Syndicate but need to go back and finish the game. I never played Rogue back on the PS3. Playing as a Templar didn't interest me at all, though my brother did play it back then. The game wasn't bad at all from a story perspective. Getting to see the other side between the Assassin's and Templar's was interesting and gives you a different perspective. Going for the Platinum for this wasn't that bad. Not to many difficult trophies related to the game and other than getting recourses for renovations or upgrading your ship, not that grindy either. With this Platinum, I have likely gotten my last Platinum for 2022 with a total of 25 platinum's. I plan to start God of War Ragnarök next and there is no way I can get that in less than 3 days

Rarity: 20.34% Difficulty: 7/10 Fun: 10/10 It was amazing. Great fairy-tale atmosphere, nice graphics, interesting mechanics. At the highest level of difficulty, it can be compared to a good souls-like game. I recommend playing to everyone, especially since the game is not expensive.

Popular Post TuomasH92
/100% #526 The Witcher 3 (Ps5) Last platinum of the year and third time earning 100% from my favourite game of all time. Also third time earning the trophies legit without using any exploits or save transferring/auto-popping. After 900 hours of playing Witcher 3; Gwent is starting to feel boring especially towards the end, but overall I still enjoy playing TW3 and the Ps5 upgrade is well made by CDPR and the world looks so gorgeous I had to use the new screenshot feature all the time ? Just a shame that you can't add screenshot backrounds to Ps5 profile... 60fps made the gameplay smooth, I played this time with new camera views on riding horse and exploring on foot, but on combat I had to stick with original camera. Always hated the small subtitles on TW3 and they finally added option to change subtitles size. Quality Mode (RT) is always terrible in motion and I put it ON only when I took screenshots. Enjoyment/Rating: 10/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time to 100%: 76 hours according to game stats, but most likely took over 80hrs. 2 Weeks 1 day. PS5 didn't show playtime at all. I wish happy upcoming New Year to everyone! ?? Edited December 29, 2022 by TuomasH92
Popular Post Angel
Platinum #156 - Persona 5 Strikers - True Phantom Thief I honestly haven't been trophy hunting much these days but ever since I finally got a PS5 for the holidays, I decided why not start by finishing P5 Strikers and get back into trophy hunting ? It was a fun experience until I got to the bonding trophy ? it reminded me how tedious it can be grinding out for one trophy, still in the end I managed to do it and I still love the thrill of trophy hunting! It's funny this is actually my first platinum of 2022 and will also be my last one of the year ? I really hope there's many more in the upcoming year. As always, thank you so much for your time, wishing everyone is enjoying the holidays and of course wishing you all my best for the new year! Take great care and be kind to each other ?

Popular Post Eqill5
Platinum #63 - The Last of Us Remastered Thoroughly enjoyed my time playing through this game again. I was fortunate enough to 100% the original PS3 list before the servers were closed and after playing Part II upon release, I had a Last of Us itch that needed scratching. Also had a blast playing Left Behind again! I had forgotten how much I’d enjoyed that DLC before. Big thanks to the boosting group that made Factions considerably easier. Right in time for the TV series coming out. ...and I really hope we get a Part III
Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#89: Concrete Genie The Artist of Denska (41.03% - Uncommon) Known as "the street artist who brought Denska back to life". I redeemed this game on PS+ two years ago and have always been interested in it since then, because a lot of people defined it as a pretty good game with an easy and straight forward Platinum. No, it's not. The game is not as good as most people say and the Platinum is unnecessarily annoying, with a lot of inconsistently designed collectables, bad AI and maze-like level designs. The fact that this Platinum is one of my most commons blows my mind: at a certain point, I swear I was about to give up because the stupid genies were not following me, I was going insane... And all of this for a god damn 41% Platinum. The game is mediocre at best, definitely not the hidden gem that is defined around: deleted it from the console with a smile on my face as soon as the Platinum popped. With this Platinum, I am done with Trophy hunting this year. ?
Popular Post RoastedPeanut
#215 - Lollipop Chainsaw (13.46%) Legendary Zombie Hunter Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 It may have taken me 10 and a half years to platinum, but damn it's a good game. I've been going through my PS3 backlog these past few days and returning to a few things I really enjoyed back in the day. This is definitely up there as one of my favourite PS3 games. Somewhat simple gameplay, but a really enjoyable experience. The levels are great, the music is amazing, and the humour is just next level. I know there has been mention of a remake recently, and although I'd love to see either a remake or another game, I just can't see them being able to nail it at the same level as the original. I'll definitely be coming back for another playthrough next year.
