Popular Post stevenanthony88
Platinum : Returnal (PS5) Platinum difficulty rating - 7 / 10 Fun factor - 10 /10 Normally I'm not really a person of longer posts but I had to write something about Returnal. A friend of mine recommend I'd try this game and so I did. In the beginning it is obviously a frustrating experience as you have to get a grip on the mechanics and difficulty(it's not easy) Once I started to get in the flow I could not put it down and to get, not just Platinum but 100% completion. Maybe it's just me but it reminded me of some of my older gaming experiences(started mid 90's). The moments where you could not pass a certain point, but you kept trying until you did and felt so rewarding. It's definitely not an easy game but like I said above I found it one of the most rewarding experiences of the last years.

Popular Post Darghel
#169 Plat() (Transistor) Difficulty: has a few challenging trophies, but nothing too difficult Time to Complete: 10 hours (ps5 counter) Recommended: Yes! Total score: 8/10 I heard of this game for the longest time - and also from my sister who said this game was so frustrating that she didn't enjoy it - so I had this game in mind to get, especially because it's short and because I'm a sucker for rpgs. So I jumped in, preparing myself for the worst and knowing that the game gets harder later and...uhm...I didn't see it. In fact I'd say the game is so easy once you get the right functions, and I played with some limiters most of the time because it was really easy (not all of them, some limiters are bullshit and aren't hard, just frustrating). Heck on my second playthrough I was basically 2 shotting every enemies I encountered, bosses were dying super fast (the spine could've died sooner but he's got armor every % of the fight) and the final boss literally took me 3 shots to take him down. And the funny thing is I kinda found a build myself without the need of a guide (I try to use a guide sparingly, I like to figure things blindly) and I was like "damn this is so broken it's amazing". I wish enemies had more hp but there's no limiter to do that. Maybe if I play ng+ again it will be even higher! All I want to say is that I found the game surprisingly doable despite many complains at how frustrating it was. Sure, you do need a few functions to be effective - Void() and Cull() combo is BROKEN, I swear that thing is completely nuts - and it can be slightly difficult before that. But once you do get them it's really easy and doable. The limiters were mostly a pain: having all 10 of them was frustrating, especially because of the overloading if you unistall them (what the heck is that supposed to be!?). I also didn't like the fact that you need to recover cells or risk having more enemies spawning, just unfun but easy to counter with the right passive. I also didn't like the performance testings, not because hard, but because it takes foreeeeveeeer to clear it. Other than that, I think the biggest issue is the story: there's barely any in it and the game barely tells you anything. Even the description in each function don't tell you much of what you already know. It's a shame because, in all honesty, I think there's a lot of potential in this world if they cared enough to put more effort into proper world building. But as I always say: if they don't care, then why should you? Anyway, the game is very good, and it's a short plat so I recommend giving it a shot despite everything. It was short but sweet. But it could've been sweeter if there was a story to follow, and proper characters to care about. Alas, I'll stick with the gameplay and carry on! Popular Post HyperFusion0
Figured I'd start posting worthy enough titles to this. #55 Mortal Kombat 11 is my most recent but I procrastinated doing it for 3 years ( F in chat ) wasn't a difficult platinum. Even the tutorial is just trial and error until you time your inputs well enough. All online trophies can be done easily still and the grindy stuff isn't as bad as Mortal Kombat X was. Difficulty 3.5/10 only due to the tutorial Alsooooooooo. The real reason why I'm starting to post here isn't because of MK11 lol. Real reason is because I just finished Payday 2 ( PS3 ) a few days ago. Wasn't as difficult to do as the first one was but of course ( The Heist ). You can do a good portion of the trophies solo but I did like all but a couple with my group. As a few would be quite difficult solo and a couple if not impossible. (: Only real roadblocker was the stealth trophies I suppose. even then with good communication and RNG being kind, it was all very much manageable. Group consensus for the plat difficulty was a 5/10 (: Thank you to my 3 excellent teammates @ChromeSaw @RazorBladeRonin @RawrItsAndrew Payday 2 PS4 will be a blast with you guys ?? Popular Post RaiantheMajin
I just got the platinum trophy for Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable on the PS Vita. It's hard to believe that this game is over ten years old, but it still holds up. If you are ever going for this platinum trophy, then you will need to be prepared for the grind. Inferno lives up to its name. I managed to beat Inferno missions on my own for Pale Wing, but I needed help with Storm's. Pale Wing is on another level compared to Storm which is why she's one of my favorite video game characters.

Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
On 12/24/2022 at 11:11 AM, BlitzkriegHottie said: Anyways, see you all later... or next year, idk, I might manage to squeeze one more platinum before 2023. Well, I did manage to squeeze three more! Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night + Rondo of Blood After leaving the Castlevanias to rot in my to-do list for so many years, I finally decided to try 'Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night' earlier this year and loved it. One of the best games I've played this year (probably my second favorite after Elden Ring) and it was only a matter of time until I tried SotN... well, I did and I can now safely say that my final platinum of the year (Castlevania Requiem) is such a high note to end the year on. A flawed masterpiece is what I'd like to call it. Sure, a gazillion journos have already called Dark Souls that, but in this case is the aging what hasn't been kind to SotN. The game is dated, several mechanics are so 90's it hurts and having played Bloodstained months prior only made these dated mechanics even more notorious. Platinum wise nothing out of the ordinary here, it's your average trophy list. Not too easy, not too hard. If you've platinumed Bloodstained then this is going to be a walk in the park since all that insane grind is not required here. Game Rating: 10/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 Time to Platinum: 15h Recommended: Yes! Now you might have noticed that I've only talked about Symphony of the Night, so what about Rondo of Blood? Well, let's just say that it isn't bad... for the most part... it certainly is infuriating, however. Far Cry Classic The least I say about this the better: Having only played FC3 before, I can safely say that FC1 was pretty much a prototype, a bizarre sci-fi Half-life wannabe featuring the most aggressively 90's dudebro dialogue ever and a Lara Croft knock-off as a side character. The worst thing? It's actually a 2004 game. Talk about missing the mark. Trophy wise is a very basic and easy list and the hard mode trophy can even be glitched. Game Rating: 5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 Time to Platinum: 12h Recommended: Meh Demon's Souls (ps3) Demon's was my favorite soulsborne until Bloodborne released and it was my second favorite soulsborne until Elden Ring released... I feel bad every time I have to demote it but I guess that's a good thing since it shows From Software is always evolving. This is the second Demon's Souls platinum I've gotten (NA and EU versions) and I might go for the JP version in the future, who knows. Also, this game has better graphics and performance than Dark Souls I and Dark Souls II which is mental. Game Rating: 10/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 (for newcomers) Time to Platinum: 40h (for newcomers) Recommended: Fuck yeah! Fuck that Pure Bladestone farm, however, it's pure aids. Anyways, see you all in 2023! Edited December 30, 2022 by BlitzkriegHottie Typo

Popular Post Sunny
- Platinum 233Fallen Legion Flames of Rebellion - Hero of the People - I had my eye on this game for a while, the battle system kinda reminded me of Valkyrie Profile so that was enough to get my attention, but the similarities stop there, these two games are completely different, I enjoyed my time with the game despite its shortcomings, the story is decent but it felt so disjointed and rushed, this game and its sister Sins of an Empire would have been better if they were made one, a single game with 2 protagonists, that way the story would intertwine making more sense and we could also have more character development, not mention they could have included a cool post game content which the game lacks, this is of course my personal opinion on the game but the main character in this title is so insufferable, at first I thought he was being that condescending and obnoxious due to my choices which the game clings heavily on, but the 4 times I played the game with different outcomes he was always, stuck up, annoying, selfish and arrogant, his dialogue feels so forced like he's using fancy words just to sound cool, think of how Ramza talks in FF Tactics but instead of sounding like an intelligent aristocrat he sounds like a teenager who played too much D&D, the gameplay and the soundtrack was amazing, really awesome work, the graphics and sprites are also very well animated albeit limited in variation, trophy wise the game can be easy or really obscure, with a guide it's mostly a breeze but outside of the one I used I hardly found any other information on the game, overall it's a game I find it hard to recommend and despite what I mentioned I enjoyed it, just really hope Sins of an Empire main character is more charismatic and less of a dolt. Popular Post Valzentia
#128 - Saints Row (2022) (PS5) Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 9/10 My first non-autopopped PS5 plat...it had to be Saints Row. The series is my favorite game series ever, so it really had to get that honor. Unfortunately, the PS5 version is a hell of a lot buggier than the PS4 version...how the hell did Volition manage that? Other than that, I gave my full thoughts when I platted the PS4 version...so go find that if you want my thoughts on the game.

Popular Post Bloke
Platinum #51(100%) Minecraft Story Mode Difficuly 1/10, Enjoyment 6/10 A great game to sit down and play through without having to fuss about anything but the great story. Only 2 missable trophies which were very hard to miss. I like the whole choice mechanism and seeing the outcome later in the game. Platinum #52 Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 Difficulty 1/10, Enjoyment 6/10 Continuing the story from the first game, another enjoyable game to just essentially watch and input choices. It's a shame this company went under as subsequent seasons would have been cool to see. Platinum #53 Final Fantasy VIII Difficulty 3/10, Enjoyment 4/10 My least favourite Final Fantasy... The draw and junction system really crippled this game and is probably the main thing I hate about it. The story is okay, but has a few plot holes. Looking forward to 9 and 10 after slogging through this one.

Popular Post MatThaRiPP3R84
Satisfaction/Fun 10/10! This game is absolutely amazing, and terrifying right from the start, 20 minutes into this bastard and you're going up against some of the most twisted, fucked up bosses that throw crazy ass summons at you over and over. to a point where the day after i earnt the platinum my ass is still sore. it gets some mixed reviews and views, and i think it's down to just how, sadistically brutal this game is but once you get used to it, the only real stand out difficult parts are the bosses in the first half of the game, and some of the mages + area traversal later on. the first game in the series, salt and sanctuary, was a fun sweet little game with a few tough parts. It pales in comparison to this.. this is a genuinely difficult non stop relentless fuckfest right from the start and i loved it.
