Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #139 - Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories Memories of Summer - Acquired all trophies. 3,628 Owners - 631 Achievers for a percentage of 17.39% (average completion; 28.16%) Enjoyment; 8/10 Difficulty; 2/10 Trophies; 8/10 (lovely tiles, fun secrets and requirements, but not very challenging) Onigiri; 10/10 As far as quirky Japanese games go, this one is really quirky. Walking simulator full of jokes that poorly translate to English, set in the ruins of a Japanese city wrecked by earthquakes? Rough gameplay thanks to a restrained budget? Charm oozing out of every crack and pile of rubble? Cancelled late into development due to real life events before being picked up and released years later? Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories has it all. Playable in third person (default mode) and first person perspectives with limited areas available in VR, DR4 lets you create your own character before thrusting you into its narrative. You can choose from both genders and a range of cosmetic options, and I ultimately went for the default female as seen on the game's cover. You get a few questions about what you would do in the case of a disaster, and while they are ultimately mostly pointless, you do get the chance to roleplay as a complete psycho throughout the game. This is thanks to the gameplay mostly consisting of you walking around, triggering story events and finding items, and talking to a slew of NPCs who require help or advice. Most every conversation presents you with stereotypical 'good karma' and 'bad karma' options, plus a few extremely silly options to pick. Just one wrong choice can easily lock you out of an optional Trophy, though, so this is one of those games where you really need to be careful and keep back-up saves to prevent too many repeat playthroughs from being required. With some good planning, you can, however, complete the Plat in just one full playthrough plus a replay of the final 20 minutes as you are offered one of two choices to end the game, both of which take you to different locations. You've also three Trophies centered on collectibles to contend with, but for two of them you don't need to find all available items while for the third you only need to find five specific dialogue triggers, so ultimately nothing too taxing. There are no quick time events of real note - you get an earthquake knocking you on your butt if you don't brace but nothing that particularly endangers your health bar - and there are no obligatory minigames either, so this really is a walking simulator and not much more. I was tempted to actually rate its difficulty as a 1/10, but ultimately, this isn't the Squatting Taco T: Late Spring Ice Cream (Pamela Version) kind of throwaway Platinum game, and you do need to make the right decision using your noggin', so 2/10 it is. Even if the gameplay loop consists of walking > talking > scavenging > repeat, the game never gets boring thanks to the setting (although your mileage may vary - if you're not overly keen on Japan and its quirks, this really won't be the game for you) and there is some really funny dialogue to be found throughout. And, with the game being on PS Plus Extra, you can give it a try for "free" if you fancy - I recommend you do, perhaps on an alt account, as this is an experience you'd struggle to find outside of the Disaster Report series. If you're going to play it on your main account, be aware that there is paid DLC required for 100% and it only goes on sale once in a blue moon; last month was the first time in nearly two years that it went on sale, and at 8 Eurosmackers (and your regional equivalent), it's priced quite highly even if you do get a fair bit of content. I ended up paying the discounted price, so while the entire experience wasn't fully free (also because PS Plus sub), I still had quite a bargain. And a few beautiful tiles in my collection now, I really do quite like the style they went with here - a few stand-out ones shown below, and the wonderful Plat shown at the top of this post, I love how Golds and Silvers are framed while the Bronzes are just little postcards with sticky tape, with the Plat being rather luscious;
Popular Post whodeygamer
#40: Sonic Frontiers This is one game that I had my eye on in 2022, but due to Sonic Team’s abysmal track record with making 3D Sonic games, I decided I wasn’t going to buy this game until possibly this year if at all. Thankfully the positive reception from Sonic fans gave me enough confidence to buy this game and for me to make it my 40th platinum. Sonic Frontiers has managed to redefine what a Sonic game can be thanks to it’s open world (or open zone as Morio Kishimoto calls it), along with it’s new and improved take on what Super Sonic battles can and should be. It also has one of the best and most diverse soundtracks in the Sonic series which is already well known for it’s music, with music genres including metal, electronic, and even Lo-if hip hop for the fishing area (yes there’s fishing and it’s actually enjoyable this time unlike SA1). One negative is the pinball mini-game which requires you to get a ridiculous 5,000,000 points and is required to complete for story progression. Other than that though, this is one of if not the best 3D Sonic game to date!

Popular Post LastMinuteSavior
Tier 1 Unlock all Trophies Pretty good single-player campaign, a bit more grounded than the original MW trilogy, and obviously influenced by awesome contemporary films like Zero Dark Thirty, Sicario and The Hurt Locker. Graphics and performance are great as usual, but I was still very surprised by the level of detail when running the game on PS5. Things like smoke, lighting and particle effects look amazing on the updated version of the game. Had this sitting on a shelf for years, glad I finally got to it. There's a few missions that I enjoyed a lot. I'll be playing the sequel soon, as I'm excited to see where they take the story and the action next.
Popular Post YaManSmevz
Platinum #86: Beholder 3 Evil EyeUnlock all the Trophies I was a huge fan of the first two Beholder games, but heard a fair few negative things about #3 so decided to hold off. Of course, my resolve wilted pretty quickly in the face of a good sale, and after seeing that nobody had nabbed the first plat yet, it was over? The Beholder games take place in a totalitarian state where you work for, well, the state. The third installment tries to blend its two predecessors by putting you in charge of a building full of units for rent and tasking you with spying on your residents (like the first game) while also having you work at the government building, spying on your co-workers and choosing sides between superiors vying for control (like the second). Beholder 3 was, for whatever reason, made by a different developer than the first two games, and sadly it shows. They have a great, dark sense of humor combined with a firm grasp on what life under these regimes can be like, which makes them very unique. And that's present here as well, but it's just not as sharp. The complaints I'd heard about the bugs are true as well, from your protagonist randomly disappearing to NPCs freezing mid-dialogue to necessary tasks never popping up. It feels a touch unfinished as a result! I eventually warmed up to it, after all I love this franchise and Beholder 3 was still fun. But for anyone who might be interested, particularly fans of Adventure games with dark narratives, I would strongly recommend trying out the first game before the rest, and if the itch still isn't scratched after playing the sequel, then give this one a go. Thrillhelm
Collector #2760 a.k.a. Moorhuhn Kart 2 in Germany (PS5 version) My collection of Moorhuhn platinum trophies is complete, with the 12th and final one being a bare-bones kart racer. To be more precisely, it is the Playstation port of the Switch version of an "enhanced" Moorhuhn Kart 2, first released on PC in the mid-2000s. What you get is a total of eight tracks and seven drivers, with less than ten pick-up items, with 90s Techno music and awful graphics. This is what shovelware was in the 2000s, especially for the Wii. Big name (the Moorhuhn franchise had a hype in Germany at the beginning of the new millenia) and cheaply made by the dozen. It's not a good game and it doesn't run smoothly at all. Nobody would pick this over a Team Sonic Racing, for example. It's overpriced and offers very little content. Moorhuhn's 12 games consist of 8 shooting galleries (4 for PS4 and PS5 each), the shortwhile entertaining Treasure Hunt and this terrible game. I cannot recommend it even at a discount.
Popular Post Bratinov
Plat 87: LIFE IS STRANGE 2 Difficulty: 2 Fun: 6 Grind: none Unlike in the first two, the choices you make throughout the episodes DO matter in what ending you are ultimately gonna get. This doesn’t stop the reason for the whole conflict being nonsensical or your companion being a twat. Plat 88: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Difficulty: 10 Fun: 7 Grind: lots of training The hardest Platinum on my list. Probably wouldn’t have gotten it if a friend of mine didn’t help with some of the Time Trials. Plat 89: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Difficulty: 4 Fun: 5 Grind: 2 The game itself is excellent. This particular version has iffy frame rate and bad controls, can’t really recommend it. Plat 90: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Difficulty: 5 Fun: 7 Grind: 6 I like it, it has a time jumping mechanic and an ending system that I haven’t seen before. The pet and levelling systems are also quite complex. Plat 91: UNCHARTED: LEGACY OF THIEVES COLLECTION Difficulty: 4 Fun: 7 Grind: 3 Good games, but feel very iterative. The rope is a great addition. Not a big fan of Sam, but he’s an interesting character. Thank God for the beneficial speed run trophy glitch, I always hate doing those. Plat 92: Life is Strange Difficulty: 2 Fun: 8 Grind: 2 A good narrative game. The ending still gets to me. Plat 93: Ghost of Tsushima Difficulty: 4 Fun: 8 Grind: 4 It’s amazing, probably the most artistically striking game out there. The online mode is worth it too, lots of effort went into it. Popular Post MikkelEhlers
#123 - Tearaway Unfolded Perfectionist Collect all the other trophies This game I earned my first trophy in 5 years and 10 months ago. This almost took 6 years and is my "slowest" platinum to date. Truth be told, of course it has just been sitting on the shelf collecting dust since I downloaded it from PS Plus played a few chapters and went on to something else. Now I went back to it, and I am glad I did. The platinum is almost and Ultra Rare, so I'm guessing many did the same as me, since it is by no means difficult and not very long either. The trophy image is pretty awesome though. I really liked the game. The story was sweet and all the characters were cute, and you're just doing fun stuff throughout the chapters. Also new mechanics often get introduced which is nice. Definitely my favourite platformer of 2023, but not much to compete with yet. In terms of the platinum trophy - I did really like the small challenges in the trophy list that didn't have to do with game completion. Some came naturally and others you had to be creative for. I think it is great that the games creativity shines through in the trophies as well. Besides the creative trophies it required a standard platformer 100% completion which included a LOT of collectables. This is more of an issue with the game however. The main collectable (Confetti) is plentiful, but that also means each stage has more that 200-300 confetti pieces which are just individually spaced throughout the chapters. Of course mostly they are in small clusters in 3 or 5, but sometimes they're not. So if you need a cluster you know that it's just a secret place you missed, which I'm fine with. However, it's so tedious finding them all because the stages are way too big, with not much in them. Luckily there was a chapter select, so you could just play the game and find whatever you find and then come back when you feel like it. I liked that some stages you could come back to after learning a certain ability to explore more of it. The collectables I did like were the hidden presents and "quest" presents (except for the many escort quests). And then there's the scrap collectable which is to kill all the enemies, but it is so glitchy it's really awful. The escort quests are awful as well, in truth I don't think they would be that bad if it wasn't for the unskippable cutscenes and the fixed camera angles zooming in on stuff when you already know where to go etc. All in all however it didn't take that long even though I felt like the game was long, when you went into the chapters again you knew where you wanted to go etc and it went much faster. The platforming itself wasn't really anything interesting, and often times the camera would annoy you so much, and out of all the abilities you get through the game, none of them are platform related, so that could have been improved on I think. Maybe I just think that because I generally like platformers. This game could definitely have like some challenge stages with difficult platforming or something to make you do some crazy stuff with the abilities and make it creative, like swapping the wind mid air and rolling into a ball to avoid something etc. My favourite mechanic in the game is definitely the drawing mat. It was so much fun. You could draw things that would spawn into the game like snowflakes, flames, but you could also just draw whatever to decorate your character. Not to mention that with the camera in game you could take pictures and then you could cut out parts you wanted to use for various things. The limit was literally your own imagination when it came to it. The unfortunate thing with it was that often while just playing story they would throw you into it when you maybe did not feel like it, so something ugly would come out of it. However the ugly things in this game are often the fun parts of it. All in all I did like the challenge of the deathless segments, and the game is so cute that, that fact alone was enough to make it worth the time. Popular Post ukiukimidnite
#100 - The Mysteries of Ranko Togawa: Murder on the Marine Express I was planning on making a different game my #100, but I missed some missables. So I chose another, but I got stuck. So I chose another, but it started to bore/frustrate me. So I'm stuck with this thing as #100. It's not very good, but at least it was cheap. There are a lot of translation errors and spelling mistakes. The story isn't very interesting. There are far too many characters for the length of the story. There are no choices. The only player interaction is occasionally scrolling through a group chat, which has two speeds - slower than the PS3 store using the D-pad or faster than Barry Allen after 19 cans of Monster with the left stick. The group chat is also confusing because all the characters have different names on there, so it's hard to work out who's actually talking. The main character (blue hair girl) is very obnoxious and aggressive. The blonde girl is much more interesting and likeable. It has an 8-bit visual style, which is pretty cute. There are also a few funny lines here and there. It has some fairly serious themes, which are kind of jarring against the visual style and jokey tone. The victim Spoiler of the first murder is a teacher who was sexually abusing multiple students. If you've ever wondered what a (very) watered down version of Danganronpa on the Master System would be like, this could be made for you!

Popular Post Stockton572
#211 Chorus Demigod Not a bad game at all, just not very mind-blowing. Popular Post Moridin83
#248 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint And the first plat of 2023 is...an Ubi title?. This game gets 2 very different reviews from me. Solo, it's thoroughly mediocre. The typical Ubi map bloat is in massive effect, along with a significant amount of jank. Your AI squad is ok, except if you're trying to advance your class ran, in which case you're better off without them. The story is uninteresting, and playing in 2022/23, you can kill the final boss before you're done with chapter 2 by turning off gearscore, thus removing most of the point of what you're doing the whole time. However, if you play with friends, it's a lot of fun. You can ignore most of the tactics, spawn at camps you've never been to, if your friends have, and generally be up to 4 Rambos making a mess of the game's plans and challenges. That's definitely the way to play this, and the only way I'd really recommend the game. Otherwise, there are better games, and better Ubi titles. Even for free with PS+, I'd say no unless you're doing it co-op, but then, it's plenty fun.

Elvick_
Platinum #264 & Platinum #265 (PS5 & PS4) Burrow of the Fallen Bear Furry MasterUnlock all other trophies. Already played this on Steam with naughty bits included, PS are cowards~ I mean, I would never do such a thing. lol, what do I care, I'm old enough that I have to think about how old I am. I talk with one of the people at Male Doll here and there, and like to support them since they care about improving and really take in feedback. Was given a free code on Steam, so felt fine buying it on PS, even if it's got cut content. I guess the Nintendo Switch version has censored naughty time. This just skips that and has some vague hint of what was clearly absent. It's kind of funny how dumb it is. Curious how it works on Nintendo, but I'm not buying it again there. I like the game enough, there's not a lot of branches that changes things too drastically... other than dying a lot. There's lots of bad endings. This platinum doesn't require you to do most of the endings in the first place. I didn't even notice on the PS5 version at first since I was just plowing through the endings with the guide I have (also got it for free). There's a setup for another branch, but they just kind of fumbled the ball on it. I wish it did have trophies for all the endings just because some of the icons for the endings are funny and it'd be neat to have the trophies. Ingame there's little sticker icons (like the trophy ones). So each ending has them. There's some other tasks not required which is a bummer. Could've been more full. But I'm not replaying it legitimately anyway. It's not the best story of all time, but it was enjoyable. I didn't feel like reading it all again though so only skimmed through the PS5 version. Then sat around so Ms. Pac-Man wouldn't be replaced in fastest platinum. My original playtime of the game on Steam was around 2 hours I think to get a non-bad ending. I got a few of those naturally as I recall. I think the most interesting part of the game is just exploring one maze area, it's like a text adventure at that point, but it's pretty short particularly with a guide. But, it was fun to explore the first time legitimately. Can only look at the map outside of the maze, and you have to consider your orientation when entering each room when it asks you if you want to go forward, left, right, or back (easy one). It's neat. Hmm, not much else to say. On to their other game on PS, Freezer Pops, which I've also totally never played on Steam. Maybe I'll finally play that Dream Daddy game just to round it out, since I've never actually played it. But do I want to read... hmm. Do I even have that on PS is the question...
Popular Post Hitman_Spinksy1
113 The End Immortals Fenyx Rising Wow this game was so rough to slog through in the end. It took me 38 hours in total to finish in which the story took around 15 hours. Another collectathon from Ubisoft which really ruined what could have been a decent game. Many times I thought, today is the day I finish it to get hit with even more grind and everything taking so much longer than it should have. The story The story was decent for the most part and the narrating angle was nice. I love Greek mythology and that's what peeked my interest initially. It wasn't too serious with quite a few jokes and the characters were half decent, even if some could have done with better voice acting, especially Fenyx and Aphrodite who were just awful. The story starts out with everyone getting turned to stone apart from a nobody who ends up being a Demi-God himself and his brother who is supposedly some hero who winds up being an actual coward. They end up working for opposite sides until Fenyx finds out his brother isn't actually stone and what his plans are so like any good brother would do, pummels him until he cries. The story moves at a good pace the whole way through, revealing stories of the gods as Fenyx rescues them and also Zeus's side of the coin and the things he has done to them. It attempts to touch on some feelings where Zeus ends up feeling guilty for being a horrible father but it fails through all the jokes and banter along the way to succeed in any emotional attachment. The graphics The game is truly magnificent to look at and gives off strong Zelda windwaker/Breath of the Wild vibes. The colours pop and are vibrant with a lot of different landscapes to snowy mountains and sandy deserts. The water is also truly amazing and even though the graphics are on the anime side, it has one of the best water details ever, especially when diving under water and the sounds actually sound like real water. The graphics are definitely 10/10 and suit this style of game perfectly. The mechanics The game falls short a lot here with the mechanics on a lot of different levels. Traversing around the map is a chore which is a shame for such a gorgeous game. The biggest pain is climbing in where Fenyx struggles so badly to climb anything and it takes an age and believe me, there's a lot of climbing involved to clean this game up. In the end I did anything to avoid climbing another wall of building. The flying is decent though it's more gliding until running out of stamina but you can glide pretty far once you've leveled up the stamina a bit. The disappointing part is that mounts can't fly or glide even though some of them have wings and I think that would have made exploration a lot more enjoyable and easier, especially post game when there's still over 20 hours of clean up to be done. The double jump was horrendously bad and left me frustrated plenty of times. If you get to close to an edge when attempting to jump, it will use your second jump instead and not allow for a double jump. This was frustrating, especially in the vaults where you can't climb and it led to many deaths and getting sent back to the last checkpoint. The swimming was awful as well and I know, I praised the water details and said they were amazing but swimming on the surface was like a dolphin dying. Underwater worked great but then you run out of stamina quicker but out in the sea, I didn't swim and jumped my way through instead because it was that painful. Variation There was a lot of variation and it could have felt extremely fresh if the collectibles weren't milked to death. There was many different puzzles and brain teasers which really had you guessing sometimes but when there's a few hundred of them it becomes a pain to spend 10 mins on figuring out one. Some were also quick and simple and they ranged from shooting through rings to light a fire at the end, rearranging blocks to create a picture, racing from 1 point to another in a time limit and so on. But everything contained a puzzle in the end and it got painful when you needed to solve a puzzle just to open a chest. The mob variation was also nice and ranged from all kinds of mythical beasts to ogres, harpies, griffins, minotaur's, boars, bears, soldiers, the list goes on. But you become so overpowered in the end that it takes a couple of hits to kill most things. Sure it would take a lot more if I played on a harder difficulty but I had no incentive to gruel out an already long repetitive game by adding a difficulty spike to the mix. I'd have preferred playing on a harder difficulty and having a quarter of the collectibles. There's a lot of variation in the armour, weapons, phoenixes and mounts also which I liked and constantly changed what skin I had and collecting the mounts wasn't too bad and you didn't have to go out of your way for the phoenixes either but the weapons and armour, I never got all of but they were mainly cosmetic and didn't add so much more to combat. Combat The combat was dull and boring by the end. You become so overpowered that everything is a couple of hits and I just used the hammer skill and dragged anything flying for a quick melee combo and I did that for every encounter as soon as I had unlocked them and every other skill didn't exist. The combat was fairly fluid and easy but the parry skill became pointless because a lot of mobs used attacks that couldn't be parried so it was just a lot easier to dodge attacks and be certain. Trophies The plague to an otherwise ok game. The game didn't even have you do everything and still I got burned out in the end. There's 80 official puzzles that are needed, 25 vaults, completely cleared including getting the chests, a ton of ambrosia shards to level up health, even more vaults are needed to max lightning, at least 25 guarded chests, 10 night chests, all side quests, lieutenants, legendary creatures and more and you'll still be grinding out currency to upgrade every piece of armour to max. My last trophy was cutting down trees for 308 golden amber in which you get 1-2 for every glowing tree and I ended up saving and reloading to make all trees spawn to lessen the pointless tediousness. The difficulty is probably a 2/10 I had no issues with anything and nothing posed a real challenge apart from not letting myself go insane from the grind Fun started at about a 6/10 but the never-ending collectibles left it as a 4/10 and just wanting the pain to stop
Popular Post StraightVege
Thanks For Not Reading A Book Instead #318 Night School Studio hits it out of the park again, with another uniquely compelling graphic adventure narrative, on par with Oxenfree. Afterparty, unfortunately, retains most of its spiritual predecessor's flaws, while being a more linear, abridged experience, and lacking substance on the gameplay front. However, its whip-smart writing and stellar voice performances more than compensate for any shortcomings. Honestly, this was some of the best, most amusing dialogue I've ever heard in a video game. Just rapid-fire zingers across the board. After a lame college graduation party goes awry, two lifelong friends suddenly find themselves condemned to spend eternity in a novel interpretation of Hell, where it's unimaginable torture by day, drunken debauchery by night, and Satan is a stylish hustler who abdicates his responsibilities through endless celebration. Luckily, there's an escape loophole! If they can simply manage to earn the favor of at least two of Lucifer's fallen angel brethren, then drink the towering Prince of Partying himself under the table, he'll restore them to their mundane, Earthly lives. Sure, only two individuals have ever pulled this off (and one of them was a velociraptor), but pfft, it doesn't sound that hard! I'm sure Dave Fennoy needs no introduction, portraying the game's charismatic, poetic incarnation of Satan wonderfully. I mean, how can I possibly dislike a guy who offers vegan charcuterie at his shindig, and sounds like Lee Everett, even if he is the devil? Throughout their inebriated journey to discover how they landed in the underworld and ultimately break out, dual protagonists Lola and Milo are continually tormented about their failures in life by an obnoxiously enthusiastic personal demon, named Wormhorn (Erin Yvette), whose mocking scenes also serve to flesh out their melancholy background stories. Thankfully, they do have one helpful ally in Sam (Ashly Burch), Hell's cab driver, who seems have far more to her than meets the eye. The acting is superb from top to bottom, really. The story's main focus is on exploring our dynamic duo's codependent relationship, and depending on who the player opts to side with in branching choices, it changes which character they control for a bit, and creates minor conflicts between the friends. I found it interesting how my selected dialogue responses were influenced by the character I happened to be in the shoes of, as if I subconsciously decided to say things appropriate for the character at the time. Milo is a generally unconfident guy from a strict Asian family, while Lola is a firebrand environmentalist, so the manner in which they react to situations can vary markedly. Both are eminently likable and relatable, though. As expected from these obviously well-read and witty developers, the writing is genuinely hilarious, pertinent to modern issues, and raises thought-provoking questions about the human condition, while organically weaving in plenty of forth-wall-breaking meta stuff, calling attention to the fact that this is all taking place in a video game. Unlike most games that dare to play with the concept, it never feels forced or obnoxious in Afterparty, only adding to the experience. Hell even has its own ghastly social media platform, called Bicker, which adeptly lampoons Twitter. It's not afraid to get incredibly dark, either! By the time it was all said and done, things went in a direction I absolutely did not expect. Speaking as someone who once drank heavily, and has witnessed family struggling with substance abuse, it was pretty touching, despite the cast being mostly adorable little demon critters. Boy, do I NOT miss my days on the sauce! At all. As in Oxenfree, occasionally characters jabber on slightly too long, to point of it becoming grating, and lines can tread over each other or be cut off entirely, if you happen to progress faster than the game expects. Triggers for the next segment can also fail to trip properly, requiring you to reload a save. I had really been hoping they'd smooth out these problems with the "walk and talk" system in their next game, but that isn't the case, disappointingly. Overall, Afterparty runs terribly, and absolutely chugs when attempting to load the next area or dialogue tree. Nothing that detracted significantly from my enjoyment, but certainly irritating. Afterparty's extremely cool drinking mechanic feels like such a missed opportunity, as well. Every underworld dive has exclusive, cleverly named beverages on the menu, and the type of liquid courage you choose to imbibe provokes wildly different dialogue options in conversations. For example, one cocktail causes you to speak like a stereotypical pirate, while another has you cracking corny, vaudevillian jokes. Just think of the puzzle applications this could've had! Sadly, it's rarely utilized for anything vital to progression, and largely exists to provide funny lines. Besides several mini-games, such as beer pong, there isn't a whole lot going on from a gameplay standpoint. Ah well, at least the bars and city districts are visually appealing, with a charming Halloween-esque aesthetic, and a good number of conversing NPCs wandering around to make the proceedings feel lively. Obviously, the game could stand to be way more polished, but it's easy to overlook the issues when the writing is so razor-sharp, and the cast is so lovable. I had a tough time deciding whether I like Oxenfree or Afterparty more, but I think the latter's great humor has won me over. Games rarely do comedy well, and this one nails it. A delightful romp that left me wanting more of this world! Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, Satan:
