Popular Post Lance_87
#45 - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion (PS4) Yeah, my first Platinum of 2023. I'm glad that Square Enix brought this game back to modern systems, i really enjoyed it back in the day. I followed Absolute Steve's guide from GameFAQs so i didn't really miss anything (didn't even have to check the Missions section because the remaster has a nice QoL improvement that tells you how many treasure chests are in the missions)
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #269 Super Destronaut DX (PS Vita) Platinum DestronautGet all the trophies I'm kind of glad it didn't make me do all the challenges it got kind of annoying. xP It was on sale~ I couldn't resist. It was okay I guess, but I really hate the visuals. The effects kind of mask the enemy fire at times, and it took me awhile to even notice the 'grey' ships that kept killing me. I was just dying and had no idea why. lol. Bought it on the webstore. I had to manually search it on the Vita's store just to download it, it didn't appear in my download list. Just felt more fitting to get the Vita plat instead. Sure would be nice if we could push downloads from the webstore to Vita and PS3 still... and that those games were on there. Not to get too off topic, but good grief it's concerning how broken these two legacy systems are for getting to all this content. And how long they've been broken, and the future looks grim. If not for crossbuy this game wouldn't even be on sale, let alone on the webstore. That's sad to me. Anyway, it was an overall easy platinum that doesn't require much since Rata don't care. But I'm kind of glad in this case since it was a bit of a let down. And since it's Rata I won't be stacking it. Plus I didn't like the game that much, but it was worth the $0.69 CAD. edit; oh wow, the game was 69 cents and it's my (2)69th plat! What a neat coincidence. Popular Post SlienTheCake
Platinum #42 Crypt of the NecroDancer I started playing this game in the summer of 2021. I bought it on the Nintendo Switch as I was too scared of Playstation's trophy list. At first I wouldn't play for too long, maybe 1 hour per day. As time passed though I got hooked. I found the game really fun, enough to make me buy it on the PS4 and start my journey. I got the Platinum around 1 week ago and I can say with confidence that it's the most difficult thing I've ever done. Don't let this statement discourage you from starting this game though. It's an amazing game and I don't regret spending so much time on it. I've had lots of fun and I'm excited to play even more, not just for trophies. I will however say that the journey was fun up until Coda (the second hardest trophy). The final challenge in the game known as "Lowest of the Low" was too much to handle so I ended up doing it just because it was the last trophy and I couldn't give up now that I had gotten so far. It kinda felt like I was obligated to do it. The run takes around 3 hours and if you die at any point you gotta start all over again. Dying late in this run has to be one of the worst feelings you can get from gaming. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to complete my run without dying near the end on any of my attempts but I can ensure you, should you die that late, it definitely isn't a good feeling. Nonetheless, I still encourage people to pick this game up and try it out. It's definitely worth it, ask anyone that has the Platinum; the majority, if not all of them, will say they don't regret starting it. Thanks for reading! TL;DR: Game good, try it out. Yes, I used a keyboard. My keyboard is "Turbo-X Horus RGB II" and my adapter is "Spirit of Gamer Cross Game 2 Adapter" (the red one, the blue one doesn't have a headphone jack). There is a slight input lag but with enough practice it's no issue, you can also calibrate the audio latency in-game to make up for it. I got mine at 120 when playing double tempo and 20 when playing normally. I think I payed 50€ in total. Total Playtime: 650 hours PS4 Playtime: 550 hours Switch Playtime: 100 hours You can watch my Coda and All Chars Low% runs here. I'm using a mic so my reaction to obtaining the trophies is also recorded. BigManatee
Damn I have some catching up to do. Got #13 a week or two ago for the original Mass Effect. Don't really need to say anything that hasn't been said except that I didn't mind the Mako until I hated it. Especially towards the end when your traverse all those long corridors. Too bad the PS4 save won't transfer to the PS5 for the sequels.

It was an enjoyable turn-based JRPG (which is a genre I love) - I just wish it had been a lot harder than it was, because the foundation was there for a much more engaging combat experience. Looking forward to the inevitable DLC expansion(s) nonetheless, hopefully we'll get to explore Whole Cake Island and/or Wano. Now I'll finish reading Linear Bounded Phenogram (love it) and probably play a shorter game as a bit of a break, e.g. Erica.

Popular Post Darling Baphomet
202: Serious Sam 4 - 41.88% Serious Sam is back, in all his ridiculous, jank as fuck glory. Serious Sam 3 was a bit of an odd ball game, opting to chase the gritty, realistic FPS feel over the brightly colored mayhem of previous Serious Sam games. Serious Sam 4 is something of a happy medium, featuring many of the weapons from 3 and a similar aesthetic, but being a lot more ridiculous and arcade-y in its gameplay. The weapon roster is absolutely massive and has weapons ranging from the classic double barreled shotgun and assault rifle (or tommy gun, if you choose to replace the model) to cannons that fire massive cannon balls and the flaming rocket propelled chainsaw launcher, aptly abbreviated to the FRPCL. The game also introduces a ton of new enemies, from vampires (no, seriously, they're literally just vampires) to giant hammer guys that you can... ride piggyback, for whatever reason. All this makes for a ridiculous, fast paced FPS which is a thrill to play even if some of its levels are way too large and the game struggles to maintain a consistent 60 fps. Sadly, the trophy list is far too easy (as evidenced by its rather high rarity), being able to be completed in a single playthrough on any difficulty, with no requirement for finding secrets or anything. This is never not going to be the stupidest shit I've ever done in a game.

Popular Post raphasauer
#34 - God of War Ragnarök The Bear and the Wolf My first platinum of the year (nevermind that I should've popped it in December) What I liked the most: awesome game, with awesome characters and awesome story. And the bosses. What I didn't like: hunting birds and digging stuff all over the nine realms. That is tiresome.

Popular Post Biscoito18
#151 - Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek Platinum Platinum in 7 hours, 58 minutes Rarity: 63.41% (Common) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This is my first Artifex Mundi game and I really like the formula. The puzzles are fun, especially the Hidden Objects, and the solutions are logical with no gimmicks to artificially increase the difficulty. I will probably complete the trilogy this year. #152 - Chicken Police The Chicken Police Platinum in 4 days, 20 hours Rarity: 38.96% (Uncommon) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 This game is a must play for anyone who loves noir like me. The voice actors are excellent and the universe created by them is fascinating, but I wish it had a little more action, more plot twists and that the ending wasn't so obvious. Regardless, I would love a sequel. #153 - Omno The Enlightened Platinum in 4 hours, 24 minutes Rarity: 57.33% (Common) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Too bad it's so short. After all skills have been unlocked the game could've used them better in the last few chapters. And the puzzles get easier instead of more challenging. Also, I had a little problem where I just couldn't grab onto a surface even though I did the correct jump. After trying for 30 minutes I finally grabbed it without having to do anything different. The ending is heartwarming though. Edited January 21, 2023 by Biscoito18
