DEI2EK
#88 WWE 2K22 (PS4) PS4 and PS5 stack done now Already had the awful Myfaction grind done on PS5, and progress transferred so I had the long grind out of the way and since the PS4 version was on PS+ I figured why not. i rushed through everything else since I did it once already. I absolute hate money in the bank matches in this game, too many people and they don’t stay down long enough to do the ladder minigame. I hope 2k23 doesn’t have a lot of myfaction grinding Edited January 26, 2023 by DEI2EK
Popular Post RotatingCube
#129 - Assassin's Creed Rogue (PS4) I've been interested in trying this game for a while now now and heard positive things about it. So when it became available on PS Plus Extra, this was one of the games I definitely wanted to finish before my subscription runs out. Now that I have, my opinion is it's a good game but I think my enjoyment of it was negatively affected a little bit by the fact that I played AC: Black Flag and AC: Freedom Cry not too long before this one. Seriously, it's like they just reskinned the ship missions, naval missions, outpost missions, etc from those two games and stuck it everywhere in here. They even reused the exact same modern day setting from Black Flag. Guess I just got burned out on all of it especially since this game has fewer and shorter story missions and a lot more optional locations and (way too many) collectibles which you have to go for if you want the platinum. It was fun fighting against enemies who use assassin tactics though.

Popular Post Trancexistence
#33 - Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition So that's the first part of the reboot trilogy in the books. From someone who was never a big fan of the PS1 or PS2 games, this game was a huge success in my eyes. I can totally see where people are coming from with the Uncharted comparisons but I honestly much prefer this version of Tomb Raider. I loved the rain swept setting of Yamatai and liked the story. Most of the characters were likeable too. The only real negatives were the pointless and hard to spot GPS cache collectibles (the relics and documents were fine as these at least added to the story) and the grind to Level 60 in multiplayer which was an exercise in tedium and bad enough to knock a couple of marks off my score. Speaking of the multiplayer: what were they thinking? Next up for me is Lollipop Chainsaw if I have the skill to platinum it. I'm not sure but I'm going to give it a go. Enjoyment: 7/10 (9/10 without the multiplayer) Difficulty: 4/10 Total Game Time: 42 hours
Popular Post sk_lp_him
#157 - The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 Master of Unwritten Tales You have unlocked all trophies of "The Book of Unwritten Tales 2". The game is leaving the catalogue next month so I decided to play it and plat it while available. The story and dialogue are fun and the characters are likeable but the ending felt a bit rushed. It's a long game for the point-and-click genre but it could've been a bit longer with better ending. I like the platinum tile a lot.
Popular Post Jermster_91
#118 LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues (PS3) After upgrading to PS Plus Premium for the next 200 days, I choose to go after a game that I never got to play back on the PS3. I certainly had played the original LEGO Indian Jones but never touched this one. For those fans of the Indiana Jones films, the gameplay for the most part follows the films however at an accelerated rate. One thing I like about this older Lego game is that it doesn't have as much to do. You don't have to get 100 Gold Bricks or unlock 100 character, which is nice. Definitely worth going for if you are look for an adventure and a platinum. Edited January 27, 2023 by Jermster_91

Journeying though Teyvat has been fun and looking forward to the next Nations(and Waifus). I'm glad to be done with Spiral Abyss. It's a auto-pop but from now on the 4 remaining Sumeru trophies and Fontaine will be done on PS5 while I only auto-pop the 4 remaining Sumeru trophies on PS4(not sure if Fontaine and/or later Nations will have trophies for PS4) My moment of triumph and the last trophy that's needed for plat from way back in 27th Mar 2022

I did Lollipop Chainsaw last year, it was pretty easy. Beating Dad's score on most levels came naturally and those were the only "hard" trophies. Well those and the one trophy for the gondola minigame, that one was probably the most difficult to be honest. I look forward to the remake.

Popular Post SavedByBlood17
Platinum # 34 God Of War The first time I played this was way back on the PS2 the start of such an iconic franchise that’s still going today and is one of PlayStation’s most popular franchises. The only hard thing here is challenge number #10 but with time and patience it’s nothing you can’t overcome. Such a great franchise can’t wait to play the others but got distracted with Monster Hunter Rise lol ? will definitely come back before the end of the year to round off the series ? Popular Post grimydawg___
Syphon Filter (PS5) 148 This is also trophy 8000 for me. The memories I have of this game. I remember being in high school and getting this. This game hasn't age well, but it's pushing 25 years old, and I know the Syphon Filter games. Despite the game's flaws, I had some fun going back in time and frying folks with tasers and making chandeliers drop on people, blowing them up. It took me roughly five hours to beat without the cheats. I died maybe five or six times, all of them being my fault. Thankfully, for rewind though. I'm going to knock both versions of NBA 2K23. Don't know what I'll finish after that, but it will be a new game, maybe Dead Space? Popular Post Viper
#300 God of War: Ragnarök The Bear and the Wolf Absolutely tremendous game. I think I said it for GOW 2018, but as much as I enjoyed the OG God of Wars, there's just something about this style that does it for me more. There's something so enthralling about it, the way it's presented just makes it so captivating. Plus it feels like a proper evolution of a franchise to me...like it has this more mature tone to it, like we aged with it, so the franchise aged gracefully as well. If you played 2018, then you'll know what to expect here. If anything this game is a bit slower in pace from the first, there's a lot more story elements than fighting, which you can tell they did so as to not give us a third game. But that doesn't bother me at all, the story was fantastic, brilliantly acted from everyone. Atreus might get on some people's nerves as he's now a bit of an angsty teenager looking for acceptance, thinking he's right about everything, but I like the character so he doesn't bother me that much, there's even 2 or 3 major sections where you play as Atreus, and I honestly thought his play style was a lot of fun. Thor was in this far more than I expected him to be and he was also a great character, very compelling and unassuming, you weren't sure if he was going to turn on you at any second so it made his sections with Atreus have tension to them...Atreus was always one wrong move away from tasting Mjolnir. Platinum wise...it's a little bitter sweet for me. All of my Milestones have been WWE games, but I couldn't with WWE 2K22...I wouldn't have enjoyed the Platinum journey with having to do Proving Grounds mode, which enjoying the game is far more important to me. So I had to break the mold a bit with something new. Glad I have it, but kinda wish I could have kept the WWE Milestones going. Maybe for 400. Anyways, I played the game on "Give me Grace" difficulty which was the second easiest (Easy instead of Very Easy). So the only real trouble I had were boss fights and the damn Berserkers (this games version of Valkyries). Like the first game the part that makes these fights annoying, is that...I just want to fight. I HATE playing defense and these are the kinds of fights where you have to block and dodge things over and over and over and Kratos gets a 2 second window to do some damage and he's back to defense again. I know they're trying to make the fights feel more dynamic...but let me have more time for offense. Because of this, I get antsy and I make a lot of mistakes...I'm not really sure how some people can do this on the hardest difficulty and not get a headache from it. PLUS it took me until today to find out there's an Accessibility option to turn on Boss Fight checkpoints, which activates when you get their health down half way...that would have been a damn game changer for sure if I knew about it earlier. Overall, this game was incredible. I'd say I may have liked 2018 just a LITTLE bit more, if only because in the first game, it was this new thing for us everything was unexpected. While this game had one awesome twist moment towards the end that definitely fooled me and had me audibly say "OH SHIT!" to my TV, you mostly know what you're getting into now. But this one was no slouch, and a must play for any PlayStation owner. With that, where it all goes from here might not entice a lot of people (I'll spoiler tag this): Spoiler We're most definitely headed into either unannounced DLC for his game or a whole spin-off series of games starring Atreus. Considering how much play time we get with him here and how he had his moment in the story...I'd expect at least one game where he learns to become the God of Mischief, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the title. But I also say this because I have a feeling we won't be seeing Kratos for awhile...since we know the Norse Mythology stuff is done, but Kratos is still on a journey to ascend to a God worthy of being worshipped, I think Atreus games are going to be a bridge into what's to come in the future for this franchise.
