Popular Post GodKaio-Ken
Platty #60! Game: Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack Trophy Name: A Bolt Out Of The Blue PSNP Rarity: 9.13% as of writing. Thoughts: I absolutely love and recommend the Gunvolt series to anyone who was a fan of Megaman/Megaman X. I've played all the available Gunvolt games except Azure Striker 3 and there isn't a dud among them in my opinion. Clearing the stages isn't that hard in itself but you can modify your own difficulty scale by the type of scoring system you use and pushing for the challenges in game and or platinum trophy. Platinum difficulty wise, the games involved in the pack are very different. Azure Striker 1 is much harder because you need to S+ rank every level. There are ways to cheese it to a degree, but assuming you didn't Id give it a 7.5 of 10. Azure Striker 2 is a lot easier as you only need an S rank on each level and they generally aren't as hard to achieve in game as in Striker 1. Probably like a 4 out of 10. Loved them both though. Popular Post Akechi_Lokii
Platinum #39: Hotline Miami Overall: 10/10 I'll start this review by saying I was not expecting this game to end up on my personal favorite games of all time. The set is 1989 in Miami, the game revolves around a quiet protagonist named by the fans: "Jacket". He has been receiving "coded" messages on his phone instructing him to commit murders against the local Russian mafia, the story gets way more complex but if I dive into it too much I might spoil the experience for those who haven't played. The gameplay is brutal and violent and somewhat like a puzzle, you can adapt various playstyles, since stealth or just entering a room and start killing everyone with the most various weapons, everytime you replay the chapters it can end up in different ways (that's why I called it a puzzle). The trophy list is really easy, the hardest trophy is getting A+ on all chapters, it requires maximum concentration and a vast knowledge for all the chapters I did every chapter with the frog mask (Zack). I reccomend everyone to play trough this game at least once it's one of the best experiences I ever had in videogames. Now onto the second game!

Popular Post Viper
#308 Hogwarts Legacy Trophy Triumph If this isn't a GOTY contender by the end of 2023, I'll be shocked! Absolutely outstanding game right here. I loved nearly every minute of it. Back when we first got the gameplay trailers, I was expecting something fun...but Avalanche went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. The attention to the tiniest of details in every inch of Hogwarts is astounding. Graphically this game is mind blowing at times...I can't even tell you how often I stopped just to...stare, I almost feel sorry for anyone waiting to play this on last gen or worse, the Switch...I think this is one of those games where it's truly taking advantage of what the PS5 and XSX can do. Gorgeous game made by people who actually care about this IP. I'm not even a Harry Potter super fan, I've watched the movies and that's the extent of it...so the amount of knowledge and lore this game brings to the table, and the amount they seemingly got perfectly right is just nothing more than chef's kiss worthy. Gameplay wise it's a ton of fun too. Of course you're playing as another prodigy in this world so you're capable of doing things with a wand that not many other characters in the game can do. So with that the combat consists of you seamlessly stringing together different spells and charms to maximize your damage and you can infinitely play around and try different things, as well as learning the Dark Arts and doing some truly devastating attacks. There's not much difference between houses other than aesthetics, and how a certain mission plays out based on what you chose...Hufflepuff probably has the most interesting version of this mission as they get to go...a certain location I won't spoil...that no other house gets to go to. But don't worry, you have to play as all 4 houses anyways for their specific trophies so you will see this part on that playthrough. My main was Gryffindor. The story was just okay, not bad but not remarkable either. In fact there's a side character who acts as your best friend for the most part, Sebastian Sallow, he has a whole side story for himself that's probably more interesting than the main game story is. There are A LOT of collectables in the game and this will likely put a lot of people off. But I didn't mind them...the only thing is, the collectables mean something for only a portion of the game then it's all about a trophy. For instance Merlin Trials...probably the most important collectable in the game. The game features Challenges you need to complete, and in this case your first task with Merlin Trials is to complete 2 of them, and you'll get 4 slots added to your Gear Inventory...you unlock the next tier of the challenge will unlocks 4 more. The thing is, there's 95 Merlin Trials you have to complete for a trophy...but only bout 60 of these are needed for the game itself, which maxes your inventory out at only 40 slots. I would have preferred more slot, and ALL of them have an effect on this...especially considering you even stop earning XP once you maxed your slots out, it was a weird choice IMO. Speaking of Gear...there's a ton of it in this game, but I really like how the game handles gear here. While you'll keep earning new stuff which increases stats, and there's the classic rarity system in place. You're not at all encouraged to keep anything...as the game has a Transmog system in place from the start and every little piece of gear you pick up is added to it. So you're encouraged to wear the items that buff you, then Transmog them to whatever look you prefer...then just sell the gear. But the point about maxing out at 40 Gear slot I made before is that, these slots fill extremely quick...so while you're not going to horde your items like you would in a typical RPG, it still would have been nice to have more, because a single long mission you do could max those slots out right after you just sold everything, making you have to sell them right away again...it was unneeded tedium. Exploring this world is some of the most refreshing fun I've had in a long time. Hogwarts castle is MASSIVE, and that's not hyperbole. This castle is fully realized, to scale and it's just chock full of secrets. Every time I thought I was getting on to the next mission I get side tracked by something else in the castle...it's even simple things like suits of armor fighting each other or listening to an enchanted gargoyle on a wall being let down by where they put him in the castle, or paintings having conversations. I'd say the only real let down here is that you're running amuck this castle and no one around you really emotes about it at all and you can't interact with the other students in most cases unless there's a side mission for them. THEN you have a whole open world outside of the castle...from the cozy town of Hogsmede with a ton of sites to see...to the surrounding Highlands with its own litany of secrets to discover. This is a game that went above and beyond what anyone expected and it's just a great site to see and I can't give them enough praise for giving us a game like this and putting their heart into it. It's very much franchise worthy and while I know a lot of people really want DLC, I'd be perfectly okay just waiting on the inevitable sequels....though it's hard to see how they could possibly top themselves on this as they really gave us everything right away. Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Haven't posted here in a bit, but I earned two platinums today and yesterday, so I figured I'd post them here. 213: Mundaun - 15.51% Man, that's a pretty trophy rarity. Anyway, Mundaun is a psychological horror-esque mystery sort of game. It's scary and odd, with more emphasis on the odd than the scary - you're going to be having to sneak around monsters from time to time, and there is no way to avoid the one (yes, there is only one) jumpscare in the game, but for the most part you'll be focusing on exploring a quaint town on a mountain filled with supernatural weirdness and bizarre characters that always seem to be hiding things from you trying to figure out what happened to your dead grandfather - all while being taunted by the old man, with his ever shifting, twisted visage. It's an odd game through and through, from the vagueness of the dialogue to the penciled sepia aesthetic, and one thoroughly worth playing, in my opinion. The story and setting are interesting and the game knows to keep things fresh. Not that hard a platinum either, if you know what you're doing. Worth noting I only found out about this game because I saw a review of it on Grimbeard's channel. He does game essayists and I'm quite fond of him, so maybe give him a look if you like obscure and sometimes old horror / supernatural games. 214: Creed: Rise to Glory - 4.81% Creed is a decent early-ish VR game. VR boxing is fun, and it's a hell of a workout, and it's hard to mess that up. The game also has a competent, if rather short, storyline featuring Rocky and the titular Creed (I have never watched any of the movies featuring them, so I can't comment on how well it depicts them) pitting you against a fair assortment of colorful fighters. I said it's hard to mess up VR boxing... but this game sure does try. A bunch of nuisances are unfortunately present in the game - dodges don't really work most of the time, and a third of the time when they *did* trigger for me I was literally just standing still; there's a frustrating stamina system which arbitrarily makes your arms unable to move after a few punches (this is a big no no for a VR game), and the enemies are brutally overpowered compared to you. The worst offender of that last point is the second last fight, which is against an opponent who is invulnerable and does a shit ton of damage to you until the twelfth round. You're meant to lose, and even if you beat him in game, it's still treated as a loss, but if you get knocked down at any point before the twelfth round, you fail, and there's nothing indicating that you need to get to the twelfth round, except maybe watching the movies, because apparently it's trying to stick to canon. But besides its numerous flaws, the core gameplay is pretty fun, forcing you to memorize enemies' attacks, manage your stamina, and block and dodge as needed until you get an opening to clock them straight in the jaw. Landing punches on the enemy feels impactful, as does finally knocking your opponents down, and this game exhausts me like nothing else. Tried to platinum it all in one session today, leading to a three hour session where I had to quit despite only having 10-15 minutes of play left because I was too exhausted and nauseated to keep going; after 4-5 hours of rest I managed to don my goggles once more and finally finish it up.
Popular Post Thrillhelm
#2917 Gas Guzzlers Extreme An obscure game few people have played. Basically, Gas Guzzlers Extreme is a PS4 racing game from 2013, at that time it was already uninvited to a party of great racing games, with already outdated graphics. However, it's quite an enjoyable game. You have two game modes to master for platinum. The first one is the tournament mode, where you take part in race cups. The races are best described as Death Race, so you pick up various weapons and items and do your best to win the race, either by driving skills or by eliminating the other drivers, which are all amusely named like Jawana Die, Sy Phillis etc. You start the career with a mock version of Britain's finest vehicle, the Reliant Robin, weaponize and upgrade it and later sell it up until you end up with a mock Mercedes or Ferrari on top of the food chain. These races are actual fun, with some arena and team death matches inbetween. Far more time will be spend in the base defense game mode, where you fight zombies, undead hyenas, undead bulls, mini-gun wielding giants and trolls who want to destroy the base. Of the 40 hours for the platinum, 20 to 25 hours where spent there, mostly because of the kill farming. This mode gets dull very fast and shows the technical limits of the game. You have triangle as a reset button if your car flips over - but the game refuses to do so most of the time and you get stuck in limbo, while your AI partners keep stealing kills. Everything can be done alone. Currently at 20 Euros in the EU PSN store, which is still too expensive. I got the disc for 5 Euros which is fair, but for the digital version wait for the discount if you want another racing platinum. Be prepared for silly fun with sixth-grader toilet humor, some technical issues and a needless grind. Difficulty 3 / 10 Fun 6 / 10
Popular Post ShinigamiSensei-
#228: DRAGON QUEST HEROES 2 Glory Hunter Awarded for successfully acquiring every trophy. [4.25% Ultra Rare] Enjoyment: 8/10 - 4/10 during the post game grind. Time to Platinum: 142 hours. Platinum Difficulty: maybe 5/10 or 6/10 (nothing too difficult, but extremely grindy and luck based) 70 Hours playing until the final boss at my own pace. 72 Hours grinding for the rest of the trophies in post game...nuff said. It's basically like the first game, maybe even better, and pretty enjoyable at first with a lot of characters and charm, but the grind completion is four times as awful. Specially with the horrible RNG for the strongest weapons. This game's trophies is very simple and nothing is missable. But you have to be mentally prepared to grind A LOT, and i really mean it when i said grind A LOT. You have to kill every monster ( Minus DLC Bosses ), kill their "Wanted" version, collect every material including full bestiary material drop from monsters, collect every f**king coin from monsters, collect all accessory including the one dropped from monsters AGAIN, all orbs, all weapons, raise to max all proficiency to get all party powers, and keep using different characters until you get their "puff-puff" scene. 142 hours total is good for this one imo, it seems i was pretty lucky with the RNG and efficient doing all the stuff for once ? Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #1100 Batman: Return To Arkham - Arkham City Milestone 1100th Very Rare: 9.75% Difficulty: 6/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 10/10. Music: 9/10. Story Mode: 10/10. Trophy Progression: 100% Batman: Return To Arkham - Arkham City Completed. Genre: Action, Adventure, Stealth, Open World, Mystery, Murder, Death, Hack and Slash, Beat em up and Drama. Grind Difficulty: 9/10. Platinum Time: 2 months and 1 week. Sorry if this is taking longer then I expected to be but because of that I had to try out some of the other new games I did and I had to suspend Arkham City for the time being until I gathered enough strength back into the open. But nevertheless, Arkham City turned out to be a huge success and I have got the 100% completion to the game and it was perfect. When I played this game, I knew the this'll be 5x longer and more challenges occurred then Arkham Asylum ever had but even now I have mastered pretty much everything out by the book and now I get to finally close the book for Arkham City at last. I do feel the open world itself has a mysterious vibe attached to it when I played the game and the story mode was another pictured perfect and I have decided once again to give story mode a 10/10. Joker choke on his last breath and finally dies but I don't think this'll be the last time to see him...well like this. It took some time to maxed out my Wayne tech gadgets and and have a better chance at in both combat and stealth on enemies. But it is a good thing to grasp and practice your moves until you'll get the hang of it completely. I am a fast learner and I know what I'm doing. Looks like Arkham City was similar comparing to Arkham Asylum but much more larger and more challenging to the game. Seems like I have been working really hard to get the job done but right now my final Batman challenge game will be a real headache for me and you already know which one it is. Seems like the Riddler (Edward Nigma) really put out twice the amount of Riddler trophies and other crazy shits in Arkham City. It was quite annoying as I had to do find Riddler's informant and a bunch of em to make the Riddler trophies appeared on the map. Absolutely annoying and frustrating when doing those is a fucking pain in the royal ass. Each piece of those do give me 200xp for for my upgrade in my Wayne tech section. Capturing the Riddler was easy and simple for me and I have finally got everything at last. When I did Riddler's Revenge for everything that he thrown his final trump card was far more troubling enough for me as I did on both settings and honestly I don't wanna know more about it right now as it is. Taking my time, planning out my strategy, and executing the enemies was no small feat. This has pretty much tie down to the 100% completion to the game and I have finally managed to get everything done and that's it. Platinum Trophy! The Death of Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne! Spoiler Perfect Knight - Day 2 Trophy! Spoiler Twice Nightly Trophy! Spoiler Snap To It Trophy! Spoiler Thank you Kevin Conroy for voice acting Bruce Wayne/Batman, Thomas Elliot/Hush and Thomas Wayne and other voice acting characters as well. Highly and strongly recommend this game! Popular Post Valzentia
#155 - Sonic Unleashed Difficulty: 9/10 Fun: 5.7 something idk daytime's great night sucks/10 Finally. Sonichu in my trophy list. (YES I KNOW ITS SUPER SONIC BUT GODDAMNIT ITS CLOSE ENOUGH) Anyway, this is the biggest mixed bag of a platformer I have ever played. Some parts of it are amazing; the soundtrack, the daytime levels, the Egg Cauldron boss fight, etc, all amazing. Other parts of it are meh. Still others are downright atrocious. I hate that werehog and I hope I never see him again. The framerate is also godawful, but when it's not shitting the bed the game is gorgeous. I have no idea how this game is so unoptimized. But yeah, the game wildly varies in quality.
