Popular Post DeathNyx
The Legend of Dragoon Platinum N°107: Pure Legend Unlock all trophies in The Legend of Dragoon. Game enjoyment: 8 - 8.5 Trophies enjoyment: 6 - 6.5 Trophies difficulty: 3.5 - 4 Comment: Man TloD lore is really epic, always adored it. Trophy wise it's an easy game, i wished more trophies related to optional bosses such as Faust, Polter Armor or the original Dragoons. Anyway, this is easily one of the games that made my childhood and I'm glad it has been made available for current consoles even in EU so i could replay this gem once more. However, i'll never get tired to say it: this game needs a remake or even better, a prequel remake set during the events fo the Dragon Campaign. Popular Post disaster500
#74 inFAMOUS: Second Son - 26.84% Personal Difficulty - 3/10 Time Played - 19 hours I remember my cousin playing this back when the PS4 was pretty new, so like 8 or 9 years ago. For some reason I randomly wanted to give it a go, and a few days later here we are. I can see why this is the 4th most earned platinum of all time (and it used to be no.1), the game is fun, and the platinum is easy, you naturally get almost all of it by clearing the map, and barely requires a guide, perfect for people who don't care about trophies. Only thing which might put off casual players is the second playthrough doing the opposite choices on Expert difficulty, but that wasn't hard either. My personal favourite powers were Smoke for the good playthrough, Video for the evil playthrough, and Neon for both. You get Concrete too late in the game, and it doesn't do anything too special. It doesn't even have a Karmic ability like the other 3 do. Overall it was a fun time. I'm gonna force myself to do DOOM Eternal's multiplayer trophies for platinum #75. I keep putting it off, and I would like to finally finish it, as the singleplayer campaign was amazing. After that I'll do inFAMOUS: First Light probably.
Popular Post Valzentia
#169 - The Sims 3 Difficulty: 4/10 Fun: 9/10 One of my favorite games on the PlayStation 3 and I finally have the platinum for it. Not super tough (especially considering it's an ultra rare!), but it is INCREDIBLY grindy and thank god that grind is over because it gets REALLY monotonous. I actually got burned out on the monotony for a month and stopped trophy hunting, so i'm half-dreading finishing Pets (although i'm gonna do that anyway). Glad to have knocked this off the list!

Popular Post StraightVege
Persistence Pays Dividends 4.63% Ultra Rare #335 Perhaps one of the easiest rare platinums available? Despite the moniker, it shouldn't require a great deal of persistence to finish this short, but mostly sweet, sci-fi roguelite with survival horror elements. Taking place on the titular stranded research vessel in deep space, this first-person game sees you skulking through a meager four procedurally generated decks of the eerie ship, sneakily siphoning stem cells from the backs of deranged clone enemies in the darkness, and crafting limited use weapons (everything from combat knives to gravity guns) at vending machines, with the ultimate goal of repairing various malfunctioning systems to finally get The Persistence moving again. It often reminded me of System Shock 2, which certainly isn't a bad game to be compared to. The craft was in the midst of experimenting with dark matter in the year 2057, until a catastrophic event caused by a black hole left it in this derelict state. Besides being stuck, the ship's clone printers have now gone haywire, continually creating vicious, defective copies of the crew, who are running amok on every deck. The only sane individuals remaining are the uploaded personalities of two people: security officer Zimri Eder (whom you take the role of), and engineer Serena Karim, but in order to escape, they'll first need flesh and bones. Naturally, the grisly task of locating deceased crew members to extract their DNA falls to Zimri, allowing her digitalized consciousness to inhabit their cloned bodies, which the aforementioned stem cells are necessary to construct. Each recreated person has unique traits Zimri can use to her advantage while fixing up The Persistence, thus the character system is similar to Mortal Shell in this regard—finding VIP corpses unlocks new bodies to control. Easily the most important copy to play as for progression is your disembodied buddy, Serena, whose corporeal form significantly increases the amount of loot you'll find. These bizarre circumstances obviously prompt some compelling existential questions, so it feels like a missed opportunity that the game fails to delve into them meaningfully, in the manner Frictional's SOMA did. It's eventually mentioned that the company has been making clones of its employees without their permission for years, but this important revelation is never developed into anything. Seems like the stage could be set for a potential sequel, though. As a consequence of once being a VR-only title, the controls initially need an adjustment period, but fast become quite intuitive. Opening doors, interacting with machinery, and picking up items requires only that you stare at them for a moment, which defied my expectations by somehow NOT being irritating, and I'm actually surprised more games haven't tried doing it this way. In lieu of sprinting, you can travel more quickly by teleporting short distances, similar to Dishonored's blink ability, which makes popping behind enemies to stealth kill them via a stem cell drain easy as pie. Additionally, Zimri can utilize an indispensable power called Supersense to highlight hostiles through walls, letting you intelligently plan ahead for the upcoming room. Each run begins with Zimri under-equipped, possessing just the stem cell Harvester and her wits, therefore reaching weapon machines to purchase a nice assortment of firearms, grenades, and gadgets is typically your first priority. I highly recommend maxing out Rage Serum—essentially a superior version of Doom's berserk powerup—and always carrying several of them, since they trivialize even the worst combat encounters. When you inevitably get clobbered or blasted to death by an angry mutant of some form or fashion, you'll immediately find yourself re-uploaded into a fresh clone within the vessel's only safe deck (Recovery), where the game's meta-progression systems let you upgrade the stats of any future clones, and improve your equipment using obtained schematics, which leads to becoming overpowered before you know it. This definitely isn't the most challenging roguelite around, therefore the usual cause of death is simple recklessness, because you failed to adequately recon the next room with your Supersense prior to entering, and got yourself sniped by a Listener as a result. These partially headless foes wielding rapid-fire pistols are probably the biggest threat to deal with, alongside Weepers, who behave similarly to the witches from Left 4 Dead. One pesky little enemy type even delights in jumping out from behind objects to scream in your ear before stabbing you, which soon became annoying enough for me to keep an instant-kill melee weapon ready at all times. "Eh, shaddup!" While cautiously navigating dimly lit wrecked laboratories and machine rooms filled with glowing equipment that does who knows what, events such as hissing steam pipes, deafening falling panels, and automatic doors slamming shut in your face will randomly occur to startle you. The Persistence is indeed adept at using jump scares... for a while. After seeing what few haunted house tricks the game has up its sleeve, these gimmicks quickly become obnoxious and predictable, so it's unfortunate they overused them shamelessly. If, like me, you've gotten pretty hardened against scares by playing far too many horror games over the years, you'll likely get sick of them even sooner than the average player will. Since The Persistence doesn't overstay its welcome, this issue isn't as aggravating as it would've been in a longer game, but it will have you rolling your eyes at times. By and large, there are certainly worse ways to spend 15-20 hours of your life. For a roguelite, it's surely light on content, lacks significant challenge or replayability, and the horror aspects wear thin long before the conclusion. Still, while the game does nothing particularly outstanding, it's a solid sci-fi romp that I had a reasonably fun time figuring out. I've no idea how it holds up in VR, of course, but it was good enough to be worth playing in the standard mode. However, a problem it has in common with the previous game I covered is that it can crash, and at the perfect moment to corrupt your saves, so frequent save backups are a must. Hey, remember when games were actually stable? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Edited June 2, 2023 by StraightVege
Popular Post Thrillhelm
#3074 COTTON Fantasy Time to platinum: 4 hrs Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 7/10 A Shoot'em Up about the games' namesake little witch that has to return a gigantic piece of candy. COTTON Fantasy is another little game from Studio Saizensen that managed to get published here in Europe, alongside the no less obscure Umihara Kawase Bazooka. These games are connected as the title characters appear in both. As for the genre, COTTON Fantasy lacks the unforgiving difficulty of familiar titles like Gundemonium or Gundeadgline, and borrows heavily from Konami's Gradius/Parodius series. Its also way easier than Caladrius Blaze and one playthrough can be completed in 30 minutes - thanks to unlimited continues. For platinum you have to complete the game with all seven characters, some are more powerful than others and have quite different abilities, but in the end its the same run over and over again. The game is available for 40 Euros in the EU store and thats way too much, I got the disc version for 7 Euros which is okay for the content the game offers, so wait for any high discounts on the digital version. That being said the game was quite enjoyable with its different locations and 2D sprites mixed with 3D models, its also very kawaii which is a plus in some people's book. Just don't spend 40 Euros on it.

Popular Post PotrikBerger
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One (PS5) Anticipation - 2/5 Frogwares has put together a few games now about the world’s most famous detective and I had played a couple before and for the main had a good time with them albeit they do have the danger of becoming repetitive quickly. I knew this one was set to be more of a reboot to the series so was interested to see what direction the series was going in. Enjoyment - 3/5 Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is the most personal of the previous Sherlock games I’ve played and I do feel this helps, with the absorption. A 21-year-old Sherlock has returned to the fictional island of Cordona, where he spent his childhood, kicking off a chain of events that leads him to uncover a missing element of his past: how his mother died. Shortly after the prologue is over the whole island opens up in an open world environment and you can start to find Sherlock’s cases. These setpiece mysteries are varied in both tone and theme, and the solutions are almost always elegant which helps absorb the player perhaps a little easier than the previous games. Crime scenes are the most interesting aspect of the game and evidence litters every scene. Sherlock reviews every piece individually, linking them to testimony given by suspects and witnesses, and pieces together what happened. In concentration mode you can manipulate the ghostly outlines of suspects’ positions and actions at particular junctures – again, another interesting way to convey Sherlock’s thinking. The biggest letdown in this game has to be the company Sherlock keeps. An imaginary friend called Jon. This isn’t the Dr John Watson of other games. This Jon is very, very annoying. Whinging and moaning if the solution I first put up isn’t right, or if I ask a suspect the wrong question, just bleating away constantly but only ever offering criticism, never actually a hint. The game requires you to piece together all the evidence perfectly for the main but it’s not always crystal clear what the games version of perfect is so you can very much do without having an npc near constantly berate you. I wouldnt be surprised if a lot of players begin to mute the game when he starts to pipe up. Retrospect - 3/5 There were a small few technical issues in the game (sometimes Sherlock would run about the world at a 45 degree angle or get stuck on a roadside kerb or just jump randomly) and the game understandably doesn’t have the polish of bigger budget titles. This however is a lively world, with absorbing smaller mysteries and an arching main storyline that brings you closer to its famous main character and his personal history. However this game is nonetheless something that you hardly ever see: a properly open-world interactive detective story. It’s well put together and if such an open world interests you then it’s definitely worth having a look.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #288 The Pathless (PS5) No Path Untraveled Collect all trophies. Was going to put this off because 4 trophies glitched, two I salvaged with auto saves but I didn’t notice the other two so has to replay all but the final boss again (and do the lore thing). But after deleting the game I forgot to remove the disc so it reinstalled so I just wanted to get it over with. I got the ending without cleansing the 4th area according to my trophies. I also got all the gifts without doing it which requires cleansing to even do. ? aside from that bs, I liked the game. It starts rough, the base run speed is bad and leaves a bad first impression. Navigation gets better with more flaps. But it’s not as fun as it could’ve been. The bosses are neat the first time but the chases that start them all are way too long and have two phases so most bosses have 4-5 phases to them so they drag on. But the art design, story and concept carry it pretty heavy. The puzzles aren’t elegant to get through because of how the game is designed, but they’re decent puzzles and nothing is too hard. I found everything without a guide despite the limited range of the “vision” that reveals stuff. But the lore thing glitched I even went and made sure I found it all and did, interacted but no. Had to do it again so did it my second play through for cleansing the 4th area. waited until that to do it all at once just in case it glitched again. Music was good too. I’m glad I bought it on PS5 physically as it’s not a game I feel like I want to play again (even before being forced to do so). And if I had the PS4v too I feel like it would tempt me just because it’s there. It came with some card things too. Popular Post GothGirlMaxine
Platinum #1084 Bus Driver Simulator The best bus driver Unlock all trophies Time: 80-100 hours Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 My only gripe with this game is that you have to buy all 6 DLC packs for the platinum, but the game itself is pretty fun. You get to drive around a city in Russia and Germany, living the everyday life of a bus driver! It's not quite as expansive and detailed as Bus Simulator 21 for example but it's definitely playable and enjoyable. The platinum took me about 4 months in total due to the 10,000 passengers trophy but you can easily grind this out. Onto the next one!
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum 296 Fun: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 We Love Katamari reroll+ is a remake of the sequel to Katamari Damacy and is a much more enjoyable game to playthrough if you're interested in getting all trophies. Unlike the previous titles where you needed to collect 100% of everything, you just need to collect just 2000 things which will come naturally, complete all levels and variants of the same level, and roll up all cousins. You play as the prince, son of the king of all cosmos, rolling around a Katamari ball to roll up anything smaller than you to turn into a star. The most annoying thing about this game is having to replay levels to roll up cousins you still need as only one new cousin can be rolled up per playthrough of a level and you have to complete the level. Honestly it's the easiest Katamari game to complete.

Popular Post Valzentia
#170 - Duck Dynasty (PS3) Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 3/10 Who remembers this show? The one about the redneck duck hunter guys on the used to be about Arts & Entertainment Network? Well, there was a game made of it, and it's literally the poor man's Cabela's game (ironic considering the folks who did those games, Fun Labs, were the developers). 20-minute long cutscenes from hell, glitches out the ass, cheesiness (and not in the good way), this game has all the hallmarks of a shitty licensed game. It isn't as bad as bottom-tier shit like Cartoon Network Racing and it entertained me for at least a couple of minutes, but is that really the standard you would put yourself at when making a game? Fuck this shit. I'm not doing the PS4 version either unless someone pays me to do it. Thank god Duck Commander is back in the redneck hole where they belong, and thank god Fun Labs has made far superior hunting games that I may or may not be cleansing myself with after this experience.

Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
150 - Days Gone Took me a full two weeks to platinum this, playing maybe 4-6 hours a day. Quite the long platinum compared to other sony first party titles. Wasn’t 80 hours like some people have told me though, I’d say around 60 is about what it took me and more realistic. No doubt it can be done quicker then I did as well. I enjoyed it, don’t get what all the complaints are about honestly. In my opinion it’s not on the same level as say ghost of Tsushima, but it’s still fun and better then a whole lot of (non sony) open world games. I tried to be fairly thorough looting stuff when going through the story missions so luckily I didn’t have too much collectable grinding in the end, I only had to find about 20 or so collectables for the last trophy. (Which is thankfully get 75% of collectables and not all of them) Same with the skill points, after beating the game and the few missions after the game is finished I only needed 2 skill points for the 45 skill point trophy, so I just went around killing a few hordes to get that. All in all i’d recommend this game to anyone who likes open world games or zombies. I’d also recommend the platinum, as it Wasn’t too grindy or boring. If your like me you’ll just have maybe 4 hours or so of cleanup to get the platinum when all the missions are done.

Popular Post Jelly Soup
#174 - Deliver Us The Moon What a lazy damn platinum image. Has a problem explaining itself in some parts, but otherwise interesting. Story seemed like it was more interested in setting up hooks for the second game than really trying to stand on it's own. Popular Post BubbleJayGum
Platinum #88 | Surgeon Simulator | 0.60% rarity There Is Nothing More To Teach... Before starting this game, I was aware of its infamous reputation for having dodgy controls, poor hitboxes, unexpected crashes, and overall frustrating gameplay. I must admit, all of that holds true, LMAO. However, surprisingly, this game never managed to make me rage, not even once, LOL. I played through it with a sense of relaxation and managed to complete it within two weeks, playing a few hours every day intermittently. Could have rushed through it, but didn't want to. A slow approach is better. For me, this game was a combination of skill and luck (50/50), so I didn't get frustrated when things didn't go my way, knowing that luck simply wasn't on my side. Overall, I would rate this platinum 8/10 in terms of difficulty, but it is definitely feasible with enough practice and patience. You gradually improve your skills as you play more and more. This platinum is now the rarest one on my account! ?
