Popular Post Ritz_VonStrauss
#4 Rocksmith Awarded for earning all Rocksmith trophies Ultra rare: 0.47% I am really proud of this plat trophy. I have a couple of firsts with this one! It is my first ultra rare trophy and also the first plat I get where I am in the top 10 fastest to complete 100% (currently ranked 7th). I set myself a goal that I will end in the top 10 and though times were a bit tough I'm glad I pushed through. Great plat to get, but a couple of trophies are time consuming where you have to grind for xp!! Popular Post straysheep87
#58 Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time I start the Ratchet series with the wrong foot, the first one I ever played was All 4 One and I really hated it. Then, I try to give one more shot and buy the Deadlocked on PSN, and I really loved the game. So when this game was avaliable on PSN, I bought on day one, and absolutely love this one, sometimes the graphics remind me GOW. Now I think I gonna buy both PS3 and Vita version of the HD trilogy.
Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
Time and Eternity Eternal TimekeeperMy 1st RPG platinum and I'm now at Level 13. This game was decent. It had a good story and sometimes I was wondering what was going to happen next. I loved the characters and Drake's lines had me jumping out of my seat, and The designs were built to perfection. However, the gameplay is the worst part of the game. I was meeting with the same people for side-quests in numerous different places, except the color of their hair and clothes were different. Another thing they recycled were the enemies. The ghosts looked the same (Grim Reaper, Death's Eyes, Trick-or-Treat), except the colors were different. And then the battle system. I liked making strategies to defeat the different bosses but later on in the game, it got more boring. I found myself depending more on my spells then any other thing (if you want to win, simply keep mashing circle). And healing becomes a bit of a problem. You have to hold onto R2 to access your items in battle. But if you let go, which was what I was accidently doing most of the time, it goes back to the battle and you can easily get killed. If you are OK with this part of the game, then recommend it. But if you aren't, no.

Popular Post BOT-Brad
#9 - Everybody's Golf (Vita) Have been playing this game since it was released on PS+ a few months ago. I initially thought I would never get close to plat'ing it, but eventually I got better and with a bit of luck I got all the crowns and stars done. I was still around 600,000 points shy of buying everything, and was missing most of the special shots and albatross trophies. I kept playing maybe 30 minutes every day, and before I knew it I was only missing a homing shot and buying everything. Took me maybe 30 minutes of grinding the first hole on Maple Leaf to get a homing shot, and then I just played a few more holes and brought everything. I really enjoyed playing the game, and I am still going back and doing the Daily Challenge every now and then. Also, by far my rarest platinum so far, with only 1.38% of owner's on this site having done it.

Popular Post TheIncinerator1
Tales of Symphonia: So, it seems like most of this year I've been playing a good amount of games I either overlooked or just rediscovered as sort of a retrospective. In playing the games I never gave a chance though, I've taken up a lot of interest in their respective franchises, and I've yet to have any big complaints about any of them so far.As of recent, Tales of Symphonia happens to be one of them. Not only has this game got me interested in the other "Tales of" titles, but it seriously re-sparked my interest in JRPG titles in general, not that I'm necessarily going to be running out to buy a bunch anytime soon, but I'm definitely keeping an eye out for some. Now, I've never played a "Tales of" game before this one, it was a franchise I'd heard of through game magazines I used to get, friends, and forums but never really batted an eye until now and I'm glad I did.Tales of Symphonia is an actiony real-time combat JRPG (though I'm told all the Tales titles are), and for a game that came out 11 years ago it really holds up, cel-shadyness and all. The combat is fun, the characters are written pretty nicely and aren't annoying, listening to the game either dubbed or subbed is great, and for someone like me who only really watches the occasional anime; the story was enjoyable for what it was. I've only seen video comparisons of the GC version to this HD version, and it does look way more smooth than before. Kind of similar to the Wind Waker HD re-release, the black outlines are gone, but it still looks great. The only real complaints I had was after every playthrough having to travel real slow in the first half of the game each time, and the shadows in the Temple of Darkness having really REALLY crappy AI and running all over the place. Surprisingly though, I never got tired of the game after each play through, I found myself having a lot fun with it regardless.I'd definitely recommend those who've never really played one of these to try this one out first, it definitely turned a first timer like me, and it feels like the perfect one to start out with if you're not familiar; the learning curve is just right too. Big thanks to Dr.Mayus, DarkPirate2007 and Bucknerd way back in March for recommending entry Tales games when I asked about them on a Status. Really dig what I've seen from the series, gonna be moving onto Xillia next.

Really dig what I've seen from the series, gonna be moving onto Xillia next. Congrats and you're welcome The main problem is you started with the best one so the others won't seem as good in comparison . I personally find that Tales games are either GREAT (Symphonia, Graces, Vesparia) or AVERAGE (Xillia, Symphonia 2) Hope you keep checking them out #142-LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes: Universe in Peril So PSN had their Superhero sale a couple of weeks ago and I didn't know that the Vita and PS3 game were different. I wanted a handheld game to play and it was 2$ cheaper so Win-Win. WRONG. The Vita/3ds version is an extremely hacked down version of the console release. This was just abysmal and would really sour me on the LEGO series if I didn't know the console versions were better. The controls are terrible. It has this weird glitch that if I rounded a corner and was touching the back touchpad it would reverse my characters direction. This lead to me getting killed or hit quite often and when you are going for time-limit or no damage challenges this got annoying quickly. Also the game tells you how to use all the touch screen controls in the tutorial but those seemed to only work when they wanted to. I kept looking for a way to switch over to buttons but didn't find one in the manual or menu. Then after looking on the trophy guide I saw that you can actually use the D-Pad controls to get rid of the crappy touch-screen controls and all of a sudden the game got 10x better. It is a shame they couldn't mention that on the Controls page of the FUCKING MANUAL. In the Vita version you can only pick the character you start as in Freeplay (like every other lego game) but the difference is you can ONLY pick that character. Which means if you have a couple of challenges that requires Iron Man, Ice Man, Phoenix and Aunt May you have to replay that level 4 additional times. Also you can't see what challenges you need before starting the level so you might pick Iron Man only to realize it is a level you needed Magneto for. Which means waiting past the loading screen, starting the level and then exiting out of the level, backing out to the home screen and then picking the character you meant. Finally I was getting pretty frustrated with the challenges because of the bad controls it made it really hard to not get hit or hope you have enough life to warrant blasting through the level because the time limit was so small. But I kept on and was at about 350/450 challenges (I hadn't done the last world yet) when I got stuck on a challenge. I couldn't get hit and the enemies couldn't take damage. The problem was they spammed grenades so even if I could avoid all the hits they took damage causing me to fail. It was a big problem because to complete it I had to fly very fast as Iron Man and then switch to Hawkeye to do a stupid touch puzzle but I couldn't move while doing the puzzle so I would get hit. Well after being frustrated I looked online how to beat it and someone mentions an Invincibility block you get in the second to last level...yes they give you an invincibility block and the funny thing is, it isn't hard to find. I found it by accident while beating the final world and once I had that the game became insultingly easy. I quickly finished up the last of the challenges and voila, new plat. So in the end. Popular Post Ala-Arska
inFamous inFamous Platinum Trophy Collect all other inFamous trophies I've been lazy (again) with trophies due to work and other excuses... I wanted to like this game as much as the second one, but a couple of things prevented that: First of all, the climbing sucks. A lot. At times I felt I had no control whatsoever over Cole, dude just grabbed every lamp post he could. What I also found annoying as hell was the sniper-like accuracy that the enemies had. A bad guy with good aim, now I've seen it all. But, the setting was promising, and the story got better towards the ends. Especially in the end. Overall I'm glad it's over, it's a shame to leave a game with just one trophy short of Platinum
Popular Post Edunstar84
#5 Uncharted Golden Abyss This is my first Uncharted game (even though I played the 2nd one for a couple of hours-will plat one day ). Uncharted GA is exciting, challenging and frustrating in equal measure. The graphics are amazing and the characters are interesting. This is not my type of game, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The one aspect I didn't like was the bounty grinding. That was insane! I would like to thank willstown and the other members who helped me with a few of the trophies.
