Popular Post FluffyAssassin64 Posted September 9, 2014 Popular Post Share Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) #28 - The Wolf Among Us "Full Moon" Earned every Trophy in every episode of The Wolf Among Us (that's a weird Platinum image ) Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Telltale at its finest; a gorgeous art style, fantastic stories, characters, and choice realisation. Bigby was an absolute badass (such an awesome character), and the fight scenes (basically glorified - but awesome - quicktime events) were very well-made. Each episode ended with an excellent cliff-hanger that kept drawing me through the story. I also loved seeing how much of an effect your choices had on the story; I played through it twice to see what differences there were. TWAU introduces 'choices' of locations, and the order you go to each place has a dramatic difference to the conversations and situations you find yourself in. I also thoroughly enjoyed playing once as "my" Bigby and another time as a "Badass / bit of a loser" Bigby haha. The introduction of the 'book of fables' entries (basically information about characters or situations that you unlock after meeting certain story-related criteria) made the world feel more interesting and helped you understand more about what was happening; they also encouraged repeat playthroughs as some only unlocked with certain choices. The ending to the whole season was also excellent; really made you look back and go "wow". Similarly, I was a big fan of the Episode 3 finale A few things I didn't really like included the lack of 'different' locations (you go back to a few locations 3 times) and the technical issues which are still there from TWD... freezing, screen tearing, and the dreaded "This choice is blank" option occurred regularly enough to draw me out of the experience on numerous occasions. Furthermore, Episode 4 in particular was quite a big let-down; nothing really got developed and it seemed pretty empty. Personal rating: 8/10 (good, solid, fun story-telling in an interesting setting, let down by repetition and some technical issues) Difficulty rating: 1/10 (unlock all apart from the 'collectibles' trophy in a normal story playthrough; can simply replay chapters and make the opposite choices to unlock the 'alternative collectible') Edited September 9, 2014 by FluffyAssassin64 11 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As a fan of batman I found this to be quite enjoyable. The rest of the justice league was also a nice touch. Popular Post TwilightSpira Posted September 9, 2014 Popular Post Share Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) PLATINUM 45 - GOD OF WAR ASCENSION The prettiest, hardest and best God Of war game in my opinion. i know a lot prefer God of War 3, but i think Ascension was better when it comes to combat, and god of war is all about gruesome fights and epic finishes. The addition of parry made the game by far the hardest one, trials of archimides and some bosses proves that. I really liked the story and the battles against the Furies, is the first time a God of War game isnt about destroying Olympus itself or killing one of the gods, so its good for a change Great Game, awesome battles and Epic bosses fights makes this one epic adventure if badass Kratos, just make sure not to break a blood oath if a god, because just like Hecathonquires, you dont want the power and swiftness of the Furies against you Edited September 9, 2014 by Mah2c 19 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rarity : 18.44% I can say this is one of the funniest and fairly challenging platinum trophies I've got. It's not a particularly difficult game, except for a couple of tough bosses that require some skill. The absolutely hardest part for me was getting the "Bone on Bone" DLC trophy. Most players got it the easiest way by playing on Normal difficult, but I got it on Hard on my second playthrough because I didn't have the DLC previously. The gameplay is clunky, the movement is floaty and your partner's AI is non-existent (pro-tip to anyone playing for the first time...don't give Goofy any healing items or he will waste them all in about 30 seconds) I also found the story to be pretty meh. I mean I wish the game spent more time developing characters as I never understood why we cared so much for Kairi and Riku was an ass from the beginning. I really wish they had shown more of the Princesses getting kidnapped as well as it seemed we spent more time dicking around in random disney worlds as opposed to that all important plot. One final gripe is why couldn't we keep the disney characters from world to world. There was no point in ever using the other characters because they were never as strong as your main 3 so it felt like a waste. But imagine if you could have created a team of Beast, Jack and Tarzan...that would have been pretty cool. All that being said the game was still good and I enjoyed playing through it, I just felt that the game needed to do a lot more to be worthy of all the praise it gets. Congrats . I never gave potions or ethers to Donald and Goofy. Although I set their item usage to 'emergency only' they still waste it. Both Sora and Riku have a crush on Kairi, and they've been rivals forever, so that's why he's a jerk towards Sora. I remember playing the game, and I don't recall Riku having a crush on Kairi. I usually thought he was just a dick to begin with, and went to the dark side because he didn't get to be the chosen hero like Sora was. However he was able to get a girl's skirt lol. It's been years since I playing KH & KH2 on my PS2 when I was 9 My current playthrough is on Beginner. Then I started playing again and remembered the clunky controls, and a horrible auto target system that led to more deaths than i care to remember. It would be great, build our own party of Disney characters And just like Kairi told Sora, "I just can't wait, once in sat sail, it will be great." It's probably one of the better recent entries into the series and the sole reason I bought a 3DS two years ago, but being a longtime fan of the series I couldn't resist purchasing it again for the PS3.
