Popular Post Wavergray
#58 Velocity Ultra Really fun game that’s pretty fair beside the last 5 missions and the godslaying mini-game known as Minesweeper. Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 #59 FINAL FANTASY XIII: LIGHTNING RETURNS First I have to say I enjoyed this game a lot more than I thought I would, it’s a good game with some good ideas. Now with that out of the way I have to say LRFF13 is the worst of the FF13 trilogy. It’s nowhere near the level of FF13-2(which has one flaw) and it just barely lost to FF13(which has quite a few flaws but still better than LR). There are more than enough good RPG ideas in this game, but all of them are either used poorly or used stupidly. The three that stand out the most are the upgrade system, the difficulty system, and the item system. I’m not sure why the upgrade system is locked behind the final boss, but it’s one of the worst things I've seen in a RPG in a long time, and I hope no other game ever does this. The difficulty system is near worthless, the only reason you would play normal mode over easy mode is if you want to want to buy more phoenix down and hear a beeping noise every few seconds. There is no reason to play hard since the hard mode garbs are worthless. The item system is just used really poorly, the only items you really need is phoenix downs and ethers. Those two items are the only ones you need to beat every boss in the game easily, since phoenix down revive you with 50% of your HP and ethers let you spam EP moves. I could talk about other things that make LR the worst of the trilogy like how much worse the Schema system is then the Paradigm system, but I've ranted enough about LR. I did enjoy playing it, but there are just too many flaws in this game. Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 #60 Dragon Age II Dragon Age 2 is a much better game than most people would have you think. In fact I thought it was a bad game for a long time. However, after coming back to it in order plat it before Dragon Age: Inquisition I would say DA2 is just as good as Dragon Age: Origins if not ever so slightly better. Now I know most people who have played both would wonder why I would think that and it’s because both games are pretty much equal in most things. The story are equal besides DA2 character assassinating last mission, the companion and their stories are equal, and the NPC stories are equal. DA:O has better is character customization and level design, but DA2 has a better paced story, better combat, a better main character and is better at world building. Anyway I really enjoyed playing DA2 and now I can’t wait to play DA: I just to see if Bioware will F it up or make one of the best RPG ever. (It will most likely fall somewhere in the middle) Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10

Because you're suppose to list your single recent platinum, unless you got all on the same day, but then again that's still technically wrong, as it's not like you can get 3 platinums at the same exact "time"... It's (getting multiple plats in same day) an exception here though so it doesn't matter . Edited October 28, 2014 by BlueDiamond93
Popular Post Carlver
#7Murdered: Soul Suspect Bought this on a sale and I'm very surprised, better game than I expected, with a really good story and an even better atmosphere. But I don't like collectibles. Anyway, nothing too hard. Difficulty: 3/10 (because of the collectibles) Enjoyment: 8.5/10

Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
Sorry for late posting this platinum... Mafia II Platinum #42 Platinum Trophy Unlocked when all trophies collected. Platinum on 12th October 2014 (1 week, 3 days, 16 hours) First thing first my "RANTS" on this game, why the open world when there is really nothing much to do besides collectible item and i can't even save my hard earn money without worries when i'll be dead unlike GTA games where I can save anytime during the game, and the checkpoints system in this game is so damn stingy during gun battles. Advance midway through, ambush by stupid AI and die, will send me back to the beginning of the mission... I may not know the 1st Mafia game on Playstation 2 lucky the story is not related to the previous game, there is only one minor part that is relate to the previous story. Almost at the end of the game when was told to assassins a old man", that "Old Man" is from previous story. I like the way the story go by chapter to chapter in the open world and also like the vehicles especially the "Empire Classic" radio, love the music so much that this is the first game I will ON the radio the moment I get in the vehicle while playing GTA games mostly i'll will OFF the radio... I brought this when 2K was having 75% discount sales at SGD$7 but the DLC is still very expensive. While sometimes taking a break from the modern era and went back to early 40s to 50s is not a bad idea too... The YouTube below show how I platinum this game: http://youtu.be/IFnCmCFD3wY Edited October 28, 2014 by foot_ball_nut

Popular Post Angel
Hatsune Miku : Project DIVA F "Trophy Master" I loved every moment I had with this musical rythm game, it was truly a fun experience. Quite an easy but somewhat time consuming platinum depending on your experience with rythm/skills since you will mostly be grinding diva points which is basically currency in order to purchase new modules, gifts, and such. Even with the grinding involved, there was not a single moment were I felt it was tedious grinding, songs are so catchy. I must confess though, there is one song that made me rage and said things to Miku no angel should be heard saying (I'm sorry Miku-chan) NegaPosi*Continues... this song was quite brutal and has even left my right hand quite sore during the first few tries I gave it, but with enough practice I was able to beat it. Thank you for your time.
Popular Post Razza
# 80 Borderlands 2 Borderlands Defender Round two - Unlock all Borderlands 2 trophies I know I am late to the party in saying this but.... What an AMAZING game. The setting, Characters, Guns, Handsome Jack, everything about this game is just made perfectly and to such a great detail that the game has you sucked into the story from start to finish. I was worried about playing this as I haven't played the first Borderlands but this game does a great job of explaining the backstory to this game so I felt up to date with the story of this game within minutes Also I would like to thank both MrCostari and also my platinum partner in crime Dragon-Archon for creating one of the best trophy guides I have ever used. It was really straight forward to follow and helped explain some of the more complicated challenges of this game

Dragon-Archon
if Bioware will F it up That's EA's fault. They wanted to release games as fast as possible and more action-oriented so that the majority of the gamers (who apparently like that) would buy it. EA did the same with Mass Effect 3 and Dead Space 3. Also I would like to thank both MrCostari and also my platinum partner in crime Dragon-Archon for creating one of the best trophy guides I have ever used. It was really straight forward to follow and helped explain some of the more complicated challenges of this game Thnx buddy .

Popular Post LianshiSaonji
Platinum TrophyFor collecting all trophies This was quick and easy game, the only somewhat frustrating part to it is you have to do the platinum in one sitting, (without quitting the game to your XMB menu/another game/turning your console off) or a trophy will glitch and you can't get it (or so I read). Fortunately for me the game was a quick 5 or so hour game to play through, but I spent 7 hours as I kept getting bored and skyped with a friend.Overall, only buy it if it's cheap, it's not that good of a railshooter imo, the platinum difficulty is like a 2/10, imo.

Popular Post R25CCE
Plat # 50 Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Master of Mordor One has walked in Mordor. My greatest milestone so far and my most anticipated game this year is well worthy choice for my 50th platinum. I've had so much fun playing this game and it definitely lived up to my expectations ( although a little shorter than I imagined but still plenty of content). The story was a little meh but it's the gameplay mechanics and combat what make this game shine. The combat and platforming is incredibly fluid and it will never let you down. There are so many abilities at your disposal the fights do not get repetitive. The nemesis system is truly innovative and very deep. My main nemesis throughout my game was an orc called Mormog Black-rat he is dead now but boy he was one tough orc. He would just not die, I think I defeated him 4-5 times but he still came back and hunt me down. He also killed me just as much as I did him which meant he got to power level 20. I did manage to finally kill him eventually, I assaulted a fortress and little did I know he was in there. After slaying all the other orcs it was just me and him. He didn't leave that fortress that night and that was the last I saw of him This was just one orc captain and it just shows how random and different this game is. Like I said the story in this game is mediocre ( especially the boss fights, the final boss is just 3 QTE's, pathetic) but the sandbox free roam gameplay is one of the best I've ever played. I really hope this becomes a franchise as there is so much potential and the LOTR universe and lore gives them plenty of room for additional games. I'm almost certain there will be at least another one due to the obvious sequel-bait in the ending. In conclusion, so far this is my personal GOTY it will be interesting to see if any other games will top it for me before the year is out. Fantastic game, easy platinum! Now the road to 100 begins!

Sra-000
Platinum #33: Shadow of the Colossus Wander and the Colossus This is my 4th Ultra Rare platinum, and I'm pretty proud of it. I originally played this game on the PS2. Much more challenging on the PS3. Overall, I think it has great atmosphere, and the story makes you think. Those time attacks, though . . . *shudder* Nothing can bring the rage like this one and Ico. Enjoyable game, if you have the patience for it.

Popular Post REDSHIRT64
#57 Dead Space 2 I have not wrote a post on this thread in a long time... I earned this back in the end of August and after playing it the only thing I could think of is," Why did I wait so long to play this game?!?". I originally purchased this game in Oct 2012 and gave it a quick play until I got sucked into GT6. In my quest to reduce my backlog as much as possible I decided to give this game another go and I was not disappointed at all. The game has all the fun "horror" moments and "Freak Out" points that made the original game an instant classic. Overall the game is not hard at all, except for HARDCORE mode which will test your patience.... While this game is excellent it does not have the INSTANT CLASSIC feeling that the original one did. Nonetheless and excellent game!! Fun Factor: 8/10 - Plasma Cutter + Necromorphs = Tons of dismembering fun Plat Difficulty - 7.5/10 - HARDCORE mode is not for everyone #58 MLB '14:The Show I earned this platinum literally a few days after Dead Space 2. If you have never had the pleasure of playing MLB: The Show then you are truly missing out on a gem of a game. If you are a baseball fan and have never played this then YOU NEED TO BUY THIS RIGHT AWAY! Honestly this is the best baseball simulator on the market and possibly the greatest baseball game of all time. The graphics and player animations are SICK! The stadiums and surrounding locales are like looking at a photo of said location. The player models are identical to their real life counterparts in terms of hitting and throwing styles. The controls are smooth and there are an array of game options that are great fun! I highly recommend this game to anyone from a Hardcore trophy hunter to a casual gamer. Fun Factor: 10/10 Plat Difficulty: 5/10 - Just dont swing at bad pitches
