To be honest, I never thought I'd reach this awesome milestone. It really puts a big smile on my face   

There's a number of reasons I picked this one as my 100th Platinum...

I have always figured this one as an underrated gem, something that no one really talks about when naming their favorite games.

Similar to the statement above, I don't see this Platted much nowadays. Then again, it is an "old" game, so maybe that's why.

The trophy image is quite sweet, don't you think? The description is from the "Bland Factory", but that image gets two thumbs up.

And finally, it's a great game with fast cars, fast women and fast-flying-Nazis-from-explosions. The only thing it doesn't have are zombies   

The Saboteur does feel at times a bit "unfinished", with odd glitches and graphical hiccups. But they don't affect the atmosphere one bit.

The Nazi occupied Paris is a vast place, exploring it and the countryside was fun from the get-go.

I really liked the idea of using black and white in the areas that haven't been liberated yet (by me, of course). But once you do, the colors return. A cool touch, I think.

Fun fact: I ended up killing (accidentally) more civilians than the Nazis. I guess I'm the real bad guy, after all

I found the game to be a quite surprise. I wasn't expecting much from the game but I fell in love with the story and the new Lara Croft the survivor, rather than her well endowed predecessor. The new gritty gameplay along with new story kept me interested and playing all the way to the end. Most of the singleplayer trophies was pretty straightforward with the exception of the challenges as they can be a bit tricky to figure out. My biggest frustration was the multiplayer trophies, specifically the Level 60 and Shopaholic trophy, but thankfully Crystal Dynamics released a patch to make the General negligible for the Shopaholic trophy so I was able get it without having to prestige and leveling all the way back to lv 58.

This was my first PS3 game, bought in January 2012, and back then, I just finished the game and put it aside.  Now, with the lastest bad Plus games, I've been looking my unfinished backlog and saw this one, resting on my shelf by 2 years, with just some trophies unearned. In 2 days, I manage to end those annoying trials and get this plat.

Just a second, let me just stare at that Platinum description for a while...there, my mind is numb.

When I was a kid, G.I. JOE (Action Force in Europe) was maybe the coolest comic on Earth. And the characters just badass.

I had dozens of those soldiers as toys...sorry, "action figures", and boy oh boy were they fun to play with.

Of course, since years have passed, those comics do feel a bit childish and naive. Those characters, though? Still badass.

Playing this game was a blast from the past, with arcade style gameplay that brought some of those childhood memories alive again.

And that's never a bad thing, right? Getting something out of a game that should have been a disaster (which is wasn't).

With the suitable attitude G.I. JOE is a joyful game and infinitely better than the movie it's based on.

Special praise goes to the voice acting of Cobra Commander. It's so over the top, you can't help but laugh at it.

First thing first my "RANTS" on this game, why the open world when there is really nothing much to do besides collectible item and i can't even save my hard earn money without worries when i'll be dead  unlike GTA games where I can save anytime during the game, and the checkpoints system in this game is so damn stingy during gun battles.   Advance midway through, ambush by stupid AI and die, will send me back to the beginning of the mission...  

 

 

Nice plat dude, if you want to rant about this give the DLC a try, the 1000 mile drive is stupid!!

Oh man the people I met online were insufferable. I wasn't the greatest at the game so I just did my best (which I admit involved some spamming of moves I knew). Anyways I kept getting messages like "noob go back to COD" or "spammers fuck off"

 

I ignored them all but though "well how are you supposed to get better if you don't try?" so to all players out there, instead of ignorant messages to new players, maybe instead offer tips to let others get better...just a thought

 

Also I like how so called "good' players get mad at spammers. Think of it like Boxing. If I kept punching you with my right hand and you were too dumb to learn how to block or dodge it and I knocked you out or in baseball if I kept throwing curveballs and you kept swinging and striking out....who does that make the true noob? A good player should still be able to take down a spammer.

I enjoyed this game a lot. I had high hopes of the game when I heard it's gonna be the free game of the month and saw a short gameplay video. When I started playing this I kinda got bored in an hour or two. Later when I went back to this and got the story rolling  was hypnotized. Easy trophy list and a great story, loved it!

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus:

I really liked this game and had a good time playing it. While the story isn't anything outstanding, the gameplay is amazing. Its fluid, precise and very skill dependent. A great game to have on the Vita.

The trophies in this game are challenging, requiring players to master every aspect of the game. Took me a good 160 hours to achieve all of the trophies. In the end i'm pretty happy with this one.

 

Enjoyment: 9.5/10

I bought this game back in 2011.

I saw this game as a combination of Lord of The Rings and the pleasure that's Fallout.

 

Initially I bought it on 360, playing it for almost a year. Bought every DLC, kept playing.

But I'm still a bit of a trophy whore, so I wanted to play this awesome game on my favorite console, the PS3 offcourse.

I wanted to make this a legendary account. Which means - to me- that I would make a "perfect" charachter.

I even created an entire backstory to motivate my character and his actions, which took a lot of research into the lore.

So after I created my charachter and finished up his "personal" goals, I started to clean up all trophies (which were only three I missed).

 

So now, I finally gor this beauty platinum and 100%. 

For the record, I just borrowed this game from a friend, didn't buy it. Because that would be really bad trophy whoring

Pure Evil - Unlock all trophies for The Evil Within

 

I had a blast playing this. It has flaws in mechanics and parts of the game can take you out of the experience or even give you the feeling that you're being cheated. But if you do manage to get around its problems you'll find that it's a great game, and a really good tribute to the horror franchise in general.  It's definitely not for everyone but it certainly was what I was looking for at the time.

 

Also Akumu mode is fantastic.

 

Enjoyment 9/10

Difficulty 7/10
