dakk55
Perfect Assassin This game was awesome, much better than Silent Assassin and Contracts by leaps and bouts. There were some elements I recognized having been refined or revamped for Absolution, but thing stood out was that Blood Money had an open world, that demands hours to explore to make the most of it. There were some tactics I didn't think about until I looked on guide videos when I was having trouble getting Silent Assassin rating on Professional on certain levels. The worst level was Requiem, although I was able to get through eventually by grabbing human shield and hiding behind the altar thing. I did enjoy the implementation of the 'accidents' system and always go for accidental deaths when taking out my targets. Now with the last Hitman platinum achieved and my 150th platinum done before 2015, I kept thinking how awesome would it be if they took Absolution's revamped mechanics and mixed it with the grand open world of Blood Money, possibilities are endless. With that said, have a great new year guys!

You're Vinewood's biggest star! 0.99% Ultra Rare Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 My first platinum in 2015. Already platinumed this on PS3 so it was easy. Collectables got boring and the buggy online trophies were annoying. Now I need to go to GTA Online while the snow is still there. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#156-South Park: The Stick of Truth My final plat of the year . I actually had a lot more fun with this than I thought. I haven't watched South Park since season 2 but I was able to get right back into the swing of things and had a good time. This is hardly an advance RPG but I don't think it was trying to be. I enjoyed the gameplay, the references (although a bunch of those are going to be obsolete in a year or so) and the humour actually worked for me. The game was quite laggy though. I found myself having to fight with the controls just to walk sometimes but for the most part I didn't have any problems. Finally, yes, to all my American friends...this is what Winnipeg looks like
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#41 - Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Well, I finally got around to finishing up this one. And I've come to the conclusion that this is one of the most overhyped games ever. I can't remember another game where I've encountered so many bugs and glitches. I've gotten stuck in the desert level not being able to move. Sully's head clipped through the a wall. One time I died, Drake fell through the floor and the world. Sully not triggering the next part of the game, because he just decided to stand on the spot instead of following the terribly programmed script. Speaking of script... it feels constrained, like not being able to stealth kill a bunch of enemies, because the script wouldn't like it (chapter 14 theater bit, I'm looking at you). And why the hell is cover and rolling still on the same button, it's inconvenient as fuck... wanting to dodge and suddenly you're hugging a wall, desk or whatever. It's been a problem in all 3 games and comes down to bad design, which hopefully will finally get sorted in the 4th installment. Maybe I'm being too harsh on this game or maybe just maybe, it just really is a mediocre game. Difficulty - 3 Enjoyment - 6

Popular Post Xillia
#10 Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Despair's Last Reward Earned every other trophy in the game. My first platinum of 2015 and my 10th platinum! I didn't plan to get it on January 1st but I'm kinda happy that it ended up to land on a cool date. :> I've actually played the game on the PSP before but I loved it so much that I decided to get it for the Vita as well. The story and the cases were cool, and I'm a sucker for these trial/court games. The characters were... unique, to say the least. I didn't fill up their report pages during my PSP playthrough and I'm glad I did it this time, listening to their stories just made me like them even more! Except Hifumi. He's just... bleh. The platinum wasn't very hard, School Mode was just kinda boring but that's it. I'm just glad it didn't have a minigame similar to Monomi's in Danganronpa 2. Popular Post Paulie1313
# 67 COD: ADVANCED WARFARE 1st plat of 2015 and hopefully many more to come. I liked this rendition of COD, but the wave mode left a little to be desired in my opinion. Fantastic campaign as always from the COD camp. My main issue is the lobby system as you are required to play a set amount of rounds to unlock the next Tier maps, but you could go hours searching before you get to play on the map you want/need. Overall, not a bad game and glad I played through it. Difficulty: 3 - 10 Enjoyment: 7 - 10 Edited January 1, 2015 by Paulie1313

Popular Post dakk55
#151st Platinum Video Game Bender I thought that since I enjoyed the Anime, that I would play the video game. While the story wasn't too bad, and was actually fun playing it. Many people complained about the Naga sections but it came easy for me, even on Extreme. The Extreme playthrough wasn't too hard, except for one or two points since I used talismans and health regen. Often I just Avatar'd the crap out of something I had a difficulty with. The most frustrating part was the Pro-Bending sidegame, it felt broken and the enemy benders often took cheap shots at me. Especially on Ace difficulty, it felt mostly like I was doing counters and dodges while barely making any attacks. The worst part was they often all focused on me while Bolin and Mako does pretty much nothing. Team work my ass, it was just me doing all of the damn work. I even kept losing the Face-Off until I figured out a trick to beat the other guy. The collectables wasn't too difficult since there wasn't as much to collect and I got lucky a few times on both of my playthroughs. Often, I wish they would just get rid of Pro-Bending altogether and add something fun like Naga run. Pro-Bending felt like it was just tacked on for the sake of it. Anyways, with Legend of Korra as my 151st Platinum and my first platinum of 2015, I hope for many more to come. Have a great 2015!

Popular Post Omar
#47 - DmC: Devil May Cry Platinum Trophy - Collect all DmC Devil May Cry Trophies First day of the year, first plat of the year! And it comes from my backlog, which makes it all the more rewarding I love the DMC series and spent long hours on the first four games. When coming into this one, I found it enjoyable, but something about the gameplay felt awkward. Some hours of combo making made that go away and the hardest difficulty runs have been miles more satisfying than the initial ones. I hope I can keep reducing my backlog during this year, I'm definitely off to a great start! Edited January 1, 2015 by Omar

Popular Post dakk55
#152nd Platinum Trine 2 Hard I'll have to admit, they did a good job on making a sequel to Trine. The graphics are beautiful, and the biggest notable thing was that I'm always switching from one character to another. In the original Trine, I mostly stuck with Thief, occasionally using Wizard for the pyramids. Although they took out the inventory, equippable items and the pyramid conjure ability, that was a bit of a disappointment. Another thing to note was that they didn't have an collectable trophy like they did in Trine 1, that was a big relief as it was a nightmare trying to find the last exp potion on one level. Although I could have finished the plat before the game, I didn't so I can enjoy the story and get as much skill points I can. Plus, the trophies were easy to do, although I can say three was frustrating for me. 3 Arrow catch was a pain as for some reason it won't pop, it wasn't until I actually moved to catch the arrows that it popped. Another was the Ice Breaker, the enemies kept destroying the frozen one before I could freeze them, it took me a while to finally get them all frozen and destroyed. Last was the Solo Flight, this was a pain, not due to gameplay, but due to my own actions. I kept pressing or instinctively. I eventually resorted to taping down the buttons and it worked like charm, I didn't have to worry about accidentally switching characters. Play if you enjoyed Trine 1 and want an easy plat.
Popular Post Lilseb93
#4 The Legend of Korra My first PS4 Platinum My first Platinum of 2015 Difficulty: 3 or 4/10 This game is relatively easy. You will max out your airbending by extreme mode. Then it's a breeze. The only part I had major difficulty on is the Naga run where you fight the 3 robots on extreme mode. You die in 1 hit. In terms of trophies, finding all the items is luck and combo based, but it doesn't take that long to get them. I got most of the items without realizing it. The trophy that gets everyone is Jill of all Trades. Make sure you do all of the tutorials. That was my last trophy and I had to delete my game to do it, but the game still remembers your save so it will pop at the spot you missed. Pro-bending can be hard at times, but it's pretty easy for the most part. Everything else is just beating the game, buying things (it's easy to get money), and following a guide for a trophy or two. Enjoyment: 5/10 The story is weak. The game feels half assed, but I can't complain since it was only $9. The combat is kind of fun, but the camera sucks and the enemies are pretty easy to beat. The level design is very bland. It's a linear game where you beat up guys and fight the boss at the end. Once you max out, you can pretty much beat anyone with no problem. This game is bad, but for $9 I enjoyed it enough to work for the plat.
