Popular Post HcG Clawz
#74 - Prototype 2 Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Really easy and fun game, after playing alot of protoype i wanted the sequel but never really got to buy it so i was really happy when it was free for PS+ There is not really any challenge in this game you can just enjoy the story on your first playthrough and just do a speedrun on your new game + for the plat. #75 - Heavy Fire: Afghanistan Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficulty: 2/10 This game is not really interesting it kinda has the same gameplay as rambo where you can only aim and shoot and not even walk. I already played this game like a half year ago so thought i should complete is since my main goal this year is doing backlog.
Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#36 - Dragon Age: Inquisition "Dragon AgeTM: Inquisition Platinum Trophy" (seriously, could the name be more lame?) Collect all the Dragon AgeTM: Inquisition Trophies WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW, what a game! Such an epic, fun, beautiful, exciting and all-round awesome game. Almost a perfect game in many regards; there are just a few things stopping me from giving it a 10; but it's nearly perfect for sure. I loved basically everything: Characters: Seriously some of the best, most-realistic, fully-realised characters I've ever seen in a video game. Companions such as Dorian, Sera and Iron Bull were extremely likeable, funny and relatable; extremely important in an RPG of this size. I found myself sometimes taking companions with me based on their chemistry with my character and with each other even over what made sense in terms of classes or abilities. My absolute FAVOURITE scene in the whole game involved the team sitting down in the tavern to play a game of Wicked Grace; I was smiling the whole way through as I watched my friends of 100 hours of questing have fun together in a 'normal' game. priceless Story missions: When I play a massive RPG like this, I like to do about 10-20 hours of exploring between story missions to keep the progression going smoothly. And for the most part, I was very impressed with the story missions. Particularly the "Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts" mission - that tasked you with finding out a mystery in the environment of a ball to decide the future of Orlais, "What Pride Had Wrought" - an interesting and exciting journey into the depths of an Elven temple, and "Here lies the Abyss" - a journey into the oft-talked about fade . I felt these particular missions were very creative and always interesting; keeping me excited to progress with the story It's BIG with (in my opinion) no boring filler: 140 hours was my completion time to do absolutely everything (talk to everyone about everything, explore everywhere, every single side-quest completed, 'farming' for materials for upgrades, etc.) and I loved every minute of it. Compare this to a Skyrim which feels obtuse and 'large' with nothing to really do apart from the same, boring dungeons with the same boring enemies. The meta-game: The idea of everything you do providing you with elements to build the inquisition (agents, power, locations, camps, etc.) was extremely effective in adding to the overall meta-game of growing the Inquisition into the massive and powerful organisation it is by the end of the game. It added to the overall sense of progression when you see how everything you do has meaning in the scheme of things. Purchasing upgrades for Skyhold made a real difference to the look and feel of the place, and contributed to making it feel like your home. Upgrading with 'Inquisition perks' also contributed to overall upgrades for the game; an excellent edition to foster progress while still allowing separate levelling for new combat abilities It's BEAUTIFUL: I regularly paused the game and took screenshots showcasing this game's incredible environments, characters and set-pieces. It's hard to walk away from an RPG that looks as good as it plays, let me tell you The combat / abilities: One issue with a lot of RPGs (big ones, in particular) is the tedium that starts to set in using the same one character and same set of skills for dozens (or hundreds) of hours. Not so here. The awesome variety of characters to choose to take on your party allows you to play as any one of them whenever you choose; adding some much-needed variation in play styles. Getting sick of hitting enemies from a distance with arrows? Switch to a dual-dagger rogue and do crazy damage from flanking. Defensive mage getting boring? Tear the enemies a new one with Iron Bull. Even after 100 hours of play time, I was still finding new and interesting ways to combine the fantastic variety of abilities that the characters have (one of my favourites involved upgraded static cage + pull of the abyss + fire mine + whirlwind strike; you can demolish groups of enemies extremely quickly like this!). Having specialisations for each character highlights and expands this feature further, adding incredible fun and variety to the game. 'Combat' synergies (whereby you induce a status condition like 'sleep' with one character and 'combo' with another) add another layer of strategy to the combat; as do 'runes' that increase effectiveness against certain enemy types. The Dragon fights (good golly, the dragon fights!): These battles were an absolute blast. Requiring you to build a clever team planned around potions, guard, armour, barrier-production, damage types, character locations, AOE/slowing abilities, dragon-damage runes and good-ol' damage dealing was a real treat throughout. I'm glad I played on Nightmare difficulty, as it made these fights what they were meant to be; a real, epic challenge THE CRAFTING SYSTEM: Hot damn, I got addicted to this thing! I spent hours looking for schematics, finding materials, building and naming the best possible weapons and armour; and loved every second of it. Running up to an enemy with a dagger called "Sir Stabbington" with armour called "Sneaky Phat Clothes" was priceless. The ability to mix and match armour upgrades was also an awesome edition; saving a lot of precious materials. Choices: As in all good RPGs, the choices you make here have deep, meaningful, and long-lasting consequences. These range from whether you side with Mages or Templars, to which hero of previous DA games you choose to save, to whether you risk your own body to save the world . I had heard great things about choices in DA games, and I wasn't disappointed. Even little things like random NPC's referring to my Dalish background remind me how mind-bogglingly awesome Bioware is at attention to detail Ambient conversations: Frequently hilarious, these conversations between NPCs were instrumental in building a believable and lived-in world. I particularly liked Dagna and Harritt (in Undercroft in Skyhold), with the cheerful Dagna poking fun at Harritt; who shows emotions with his grunts Music and songs: I loved the implementation of current story events into 'new' tavern songs as the game progressed; once again, really adding to the sense of a connected world. I even often waited at the title screen for several minutes to hear the epic crescendo before starting the game; it's that good. And in particular, the hopeful song ("the dawn will come?") that the team sings when camped before reaching Skyhold for the first time was truly epic The war-table: An excellent edition that provided reason to return to Skyhold regularly for new loot and new 'bits' of story. It was always exciting sending Cullent/Leliana/Josephine on different missions and finding interesting outcomes that change based on who you send. It also contributed beautifully to the overall meta-game as described earlier. THE EXPLORATION AND MAPS: Wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. I seriously don't think I've ever enjoyed myself this much in open-world questing in an RPG in my life. There is such VARIETY in locations, with a massive difference in topography, weather, mood, atmosphere, enemies, etc. that you feel truly in a different country each time you go to a new major wilderness area. And there's so much to do! Closing rifts (always enjoyable battles!), exploring abandoned caves, hunting wildlife (useful for crafting!), finding shards, unlocking astariums and just causing chaos... I never got bored in my time exploring; testament to incredible world design. My favourite locations were: Crestwood - who doesn't love a good rain storm?, Emprise du Lion - beautiful, challenging, and fun; awesome combination, The Emerald Graves - gorgeous, history spread around, haunted houses... it has everything, and The Exalted Plains - wow, so good! THE LORE: Okay, call me crazy, but I've never played a Dragon Age game before. Boy, was I blown away by how deep, complex, rewarding and inter-woven the lore was! I must have spend hours simply reading about different creatures (often humorous descriptions), locations and histories... and I enjoyed every minute! MASSIVE SPOILERS HERE FOR THE END OF THE GAME It was because of how much I enjoyed reading the lore that I actually figured out EXACTLY who Solas was before finishing the game; I was so excited when I realised that he was the Dread Wolf all along; the clues I had picked up on were just that; and I felt so clever figuring it out on my own ... and there's probably a lot more I could talk about as well, but I'll leave it there Actually, one more thing... Please play on Nightmare, please! Even if you don't care about trophies, it's an absolute BLAST playing on the game's most difficult mode. The perfect level of challenge requires you to think on your feet all the time, and use the various characters, potions, and your gear to the best of your ability. The game was meant to be played this way imo. Disappointing aspects: Final story mission/boss. I expected a lot more... let's just leave it at that. An absolute walkover, and nowhere near as epic as I was expecting. Tactical camera: Very useful in theory (particularly early on in Nightmare mode, or when trying to get good positioning of party members), but very temperamental in practice. It often gets stuck on geometry (e.g. enemies higher or lower than yourself are impossible to target) and party members sometimes completely ignore orders; very frustrating (particularly if frantically trying to divvy up potions and revives). Not a deal-breaker, but annoying often enough to become... well, annoying Sound clipping, loss of subtitles/response wheel, getting stuck on geometry, etc: Expected in a large RPG like this one, but once again, were more prevalent than I hoped. I had to reload saved games many times when I suddenly couldn't talk to someone or hear anything. Not a deal-breaker, but still annoying. The Hissing Wastes (in general): Massive map; cool in theory, but flipping annoying to traverse (even on horse - or dracolisk - back). Trophy unlocking was often bugged. I had to re-defeat my last dragon to earn the 'kill every high dragon' trophy, and had to re-load a save to make sure I was 'in control of my own character when I levelled up to 20' because neither unlocked the first time. BE SURE TO TAKE HEAPS OF BACK-UP SAVES!!!! All in all, I can definitely see why DA:I won many GOTY awards last year; it's an absolute pearler of a game that deserves to be played by anyone and everyone who calls themselves a gamer. Do yourself a favour, and pick this gem up now; in a generation of disappointing new IPs, re-releases, and 5hr campaigns, the content on offer here is staggering in quality and quantity. Personal rating: 9.5/10 Plat difficulty: 4/10 (some may find Nightmare difficulty, but apart from that, you'll get everything else by simply enjoying yourself and exploring everything) SERIOUSLY PLEASE, PLAY THIS GAME!!!

RavenclawHobbit
Plat #60 - Dragon Age Origins Hopefully this will be an epic start to killing my insanely large backlog. I really enjoyed playing the game all the way through. Even though it's from back in like '09 I believe, bioware can do no wrong. (other than the infamous mass effect 3 ending) But I must admit after the plat, it is killing me to finish all the DLC.
Popular Post christine_uk
Only yesterday I posted my 6th platinum and today I'm posting my 7th! yey! LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 10 Points to Gryffindor Had this game for a couple of years and yesterday I decided to try and boost my LEGO trophies and with only 3 trophies remaining for this one today (2 character based and the 100% completion one) I persevered with it and achieved my 7th platinum (4 of which are the LEGO games but I love them!) Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#48 - The Wolf Among Us Didn't enjoy this one as much as The Walking Dead game, but it was alright. Getting it to run was somewhat of a pain though. It froze my console 3 times when I tried loading up the game (being signed in or not didn't make a difference). I didn't find this game all that engaging, but it had a good enough story and some amusing lines and dialogues. It suffers from the same issue as The Walking Dead did, which is the few second freezes during the game and the lip sync is pretty bad in this one. Popular Post Brawler
Platinum #23: DOA5 Ultimate Master It doesn't really say much, given the game is rather easy. Even if you aren't in to fighters, this is a manageable completion. Kind of dead online though, which is sad to see given the fact the new DLC recently came out.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS3) 100% Complete Earn all LittleBigPlanetTM 3 trophies to unlock this platinum trophy More like LittleTooShortForABigPlanet 3, since it was over faster than Lindsay Lohan's career. Only took me 1d 09hrs to complete, and about half of that was watching the loading screen. I don't know about the PS4 version, but here the endless loads were the bane of my existence. Loads of crap, if you ask me. And then there were the bugs, the sudden cuts in dialogue, the frame drops, the cheap deaths....that list goes on and on. Kinda like the loadings, did I mention that already? LBP 3 is a poor trailer park trash of a cousin to the previous installments, unfinished games like this should not be published. Greed is NOT good. One good thing I will say about this cash-in: it has an original song by Smooth McGroove in it. For those who do not know the gentleman in question, check out his acapella versions of some of the greatest retro game themes. They're awesome to say the least. But as a game, I do not recommend LBP 3. Especially if you're a fan, the disappointment would be imminent
Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#158-Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi ALSO Trophy #9000 OK I think it is pretty obvious why I picked this plat as my next one I was trying to think of a good milestone game and then I remembered I had an employee put this game into my ps3 during a games night to see what it was like and got 1 trophy and left it at that (that is also the night I got 1 trophy in Battlefield 3 and Top Spin 4). So after those 4 trophies destroyed my completion percentage for 3 years I decided to find a copy of this game, beat it and get an awesome milestone. What do I think of this game...well it captures the show really well. There are tons of needless fights that go on forever. Lots of flashy bits that look awesome but are kind of redundant after awhile and...oh yeah Seriously this game is all about Square vs Triangle. I might be beating you up but if you press Square and I press Square then you win and my combo dies. Or maybe I am trying to dodge an attack, well he pressed Triangle and I pressed square so he wins but I had some powered up energy so I can madly tap the face buttons for a chance to counter which then randomly appears and you have to quickly stop tapping the buttons and time it so you land on the very small O and hope that counters...because if it doesn't then you leave yourself wide open to take on a full blast attack which drains all your life. Battles were often cheaply won or lost, because while all of that is bullshit it is at least bullshit that plays in your favour as well. This game was very long and drawn out. You had to fight like 300-400 fights to get the platinum and they are all just button mashing mini games. Oh and Finally the online. First off a big shout out to Oblivion and Hulkamania who helped me get the online trophies done. The titles are awful and result in you having to play like 100 matches online and hope and pray you don't disconnect every 5 seconds. I was trying to debate with Oblivion which was worse Littlebigplanet Karting or DBZ...I think we settled on they were both shitty servers . Anyways, is this the worse game in the world? No. Would I rather have had a Street Fighter or Blazblu clone with DBZ characters...hells yeah Oh and

dalailama1989
Sound Shapes You've Gone Platinum Fi. Na. Ll. Y. When the PS4 came out, it's the first time I saw that game in the PSN-store. So I looked it up here and saw some high percentages, not knowing it was from cloud-syncing. It was pretty cheap at that time, so I gave it a try. Well, yeah the campaign is easy but those Death Mode level's are mostly pretty damn hard and took me several hours of my life. But I thought, what is begun, has to be finished, right? So the last days I tried not to be frustrated and wait for the perfect moments in each level. Most of them took about one hour, some two, some only eight minutes. Now, with cloud-sync it feels even more deserving to hear that "pling" twice for each battle won I don't have a Vita and one gazillion other PSN-accounts, so no six platinums for me, but anyways I'm more than glad to be done with this one. If there is no more DLC coming (to keep at 100%), I'll probably not play it again, I'm not that much into S&M.

Popular Post brainfrozeno00o
#32 Saints Row IV: Re-elected Kingpin Unlock all Trophies in Saints Row IV: Re-elected. This is one of the games I used to play in Steam during the Christmas holiday sale, and boy it was a very awesome game. Although at that point, I wasn't interested in collecting all the data clusters, audio logs, and other collectibles and some miscellaneous achievements in Steam back then. Once it was released in the PS4 console (along with Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, which I have yet to play), I took it as a challenge to get the platinum trophy in this game and completing the DLC as well. With my graduation nearing, I tried to find time playing this game (even idling for the 40-hour trophy), and after a long time, I finally got it.

Popular Post GoldenShaka
APOTHEON # 45 The patch is up, go guys, goooooooo. Well, the game was fun, but I found no deep in the story elements, I found myself reading random stuff, like being in a library in Mythology section. The only thing I could say I dislike was the aiming system, I liked what they tried to do with the twin sticks but it was annoying when you are surrounded everywhere by enemies, suddenly turn to an enemy and found that you were aiming wherever but the enemy. I understand that when I had equipped a spear, but a sword??? C'mon. Oh, and (probably me don't understanding the game) what's the point to have "repair kits" when you cannot fix anything??? You just increase momentarily your armor.

Popular Post Tomoko Kuroki
Wheel of fortune Alright... This game was really crap If you like game show games, Jeopardy is good, this game is just not fun. The answers seem much harder then in the show itself, even though it's probably like Jeopardy where the questions answers are from the actual show. I played this game with 3 people, my brother was amazing with movie title's, quotes, what are you doing. But the "Thing" and Things catergories are litterally ANYTHING. Overall it just wasn't fun . And it's actually 12% rarity because it's EXTREMELY luck based some of the trophies. Glad I got this over with -.- Oh, and the game should of been renamed "Bankrupt". You land on more bankrupts then you do money half the time, I've done 12 bankrupt streak even though I know Half power spins are usually 1 full turn on the wheel, couldn't get away from it Edited February 21, 2015 by Tomoko Kuroki
