Popular Post Wdjat Prinny Doods
Plat #98 & Trophy #5,000- Kingdom Hearts Final Mix The first game in one of my favorite series, was great to relive this game. I'm also glad this plat turned out to be a milestone for me. Not a difficult plat, even the gummi ship missions I was dreading turned out to be easy with only 1 taking me more than 2 tries. The synthesis grind wasn't too bad in fact the item grind for it was one of the more interesting item grinds I've done. With the new rare heartless added you had to do different tasks to better your chances of getting rarer items with task such as: Getting a certain number of hits on a heartless before it disappears, performing a spell on one depending on what action it does, killing a group of heartless before they spot you and call forth a endless number of them (damn you Sniperwilds ), and defeating a group of heartless without getting hit. These little challenges help add some variety to the grind making it feel like less of a chore. My only real complaints with the game was the camera that seemed to fight with me a lot and the gummi ship controls. All in all a great game that is still one of my favorites doods.

There's so many things wrong with this game, I don't even know where to begin with. You know what, I won't even bother this time. I'll just describe this as a big, steaming, worthless, greedy, repulsive, ugly, misleading, lazy pile of horseshit and leave it at that. The only outer space-y thing that this village idiot of a game might do is alienate you from gaming altogether
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 60 - RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS Resident Evil Revelations 2 is the latest installment in the Resident Evil series. The game sets between the events of Resident Evil 5 and 6 and it's also the first attempt of Capcom in episodic format for the series. Resident Evil Revelations 2 also tries to bring the franchise back to it's roots, making this game the best Resident Evil game since 4 in my opinion. I'm really glad capcom finally decided to give the franchise some horror back, as a fan i did enjoy RE6 and RE5 it's a good game, but as for the franchise, i prefer seeing good puzzles, dark rooms, creepy monsters and some scares, not zombies running around blazing guns. Revelations captures the essence that made me love Resident Evil since it's launch, it also makes my first platinum in the Top 25 achievers, and my very first clash againt my buddy Toxi for the first place, in the end, i lost , hahaha, but at least i will have my revenge match for the very first time in the league next season So, try the game guys, Capcom really did right if this game, if you want just a taste, for 5 bucks you can have soe hours of fun and decide what's the future for this game for you, for 40 bucks you will get so much more content than a lot of those recent games at 60. Popular Post Priere
#31 Apotheon Welp, this is certainly a unique one. I was never really into Greek Mythology and such except for Hercules which alot of people already got into thanks to a few reasons, but this game's story is Awesome! I found out alot of new information to add to my current little info about those "Deities", For one...Artemis is a...Maniac...about hunting, and it continues But, i'll say that this game suffers from a decent amount of Freakin' crashes that might make you sick of it, even after the "solving patch"....Yet i conquered those Crashes with persistence! Well, now that i look at it...it's been a while since i got a Platinum for an RPG game......Gotta fix that soon.... In the end, i'll leave you with this gif. Thanks for Reading! -Timanthon Edited March 18, 2015 by Timanthon
Popular Post PLamb858
#33. God of War: Chains of Olympus Not a lot to say about this series that hasn't already been said. Pretty fun game. It was my least favorite story-wise compared to GOW I & II that I've played so far but it wasn't bad. It was a crazy easy platinum too. No need for even a chest guide and it was totally doable the first time through on Hard mode.

Popular Post D-Tron
#54 - htoL#NiQ -The Firefly Diary- Platinum Trophy Before I begin, Let me just say we should call this game The Firefly Diary. htoL#NiQ is just a stylized form of the Japanese title "Hottaru No Nikki" which means the exact same thing. I consider myself a niche gamer. I love to play games that fly under everyone's radars. As a niche gamer, I've grown rather fond of companies like NIS America who will take a chance at localizing games even if they're not critically acclaimed. I love the Disgaea and Danganronpa franchises and I really appreciate companies like NIS America that try even with a market so focused on "gwaphics, gowe and guns". I like their games... Except for this one... In case you didn't know (I'm guessing that is a lot of you), The Firefly Diary is a puzzle platformer. You have to guide a girl named Mion through puzzles in order to find out who she is and why she is in the place she is. You don't control her, you control Lumen (the green fairy) that Mion follows throughout the game. She can also summon Umbra (fairy of shadows) who can freeze time and manipulate certain objects to Mion's advantage. I felt pretty good after the first chapter of the game. I got stuck once and had to use my logic to figure out the "puzzle" in this "platformer". Unfortunately, those two terms are shoved straight up your ASS after the first chapter ends. This game is sooo frustrating! Everything from boxes that fall from nowhere to giant robots are out to kill Mion! Combine that with unfair checkpoints and REALLY slow progression and you've got this pile of shit. It's one thing for a game to be challenging and another for it to be just plain unfair. Unfortunately, it's not the first one. The game itself is short. It clocks in at around two hours of game time if you know what you're doing. That being said, You won't know what you're doing and the amount of "OMFG! WTF!" moments will likely extend this game to 8 hours. If you're a trophy hunter (if you're reading this, you know you are) it might take 12-15 hours of time. Mion is sooo slow! It takes forever to get back where you died last. The awfully implemented controls just make it worse. I couldn't let the game beat me though. It was still short, but I was doing mostly the same thing all the time. Moral of the story, Don't get this game until it's free for Plus members. This is practically Rage Simulator 2015. It will make you feel like this: Now if you'll excuse me, I'm probably going to make trophy guide for this and then question my morals as to why I decided to platinum this game. Popular Post Archavia
200 - Resident Evil Revelations 2 (PS4)Great game, good addition to the Resident Evil franchise. I must say it's my favourite Resident Evil on PS3/PS4. Making it episodic was quite interesting, adding suspense to the story, but the fact they decided to give the game a good and bad ending was unnecessary. Awesome to play as Claire and Barry again, plus Moira is the first new character I've actually found memorable since the PS1 games. Hopefully they all return, particularly Moira, would like to see her as a primary protagonist. And Raid Mode is the best Resident Evil side-game to date, with lots of variety. Can't wait for the online multiplayer to be added. Wasn't originally planning to do this as my 200th, but with Resident Evil being one of my favourite franchises, and Claire Redfield being one of my favourite video game characters, I'm still happy with it as 200. Popular Post Mcbeanstr
#58 Transistor Now this was a really fun game, I purchased it before it became a ps+ freebie but only got to it recently. I found it difficult at the start but gradually I got the hang of it, began to experiment with different combinations and became a boss at the end. The only trouble I had mostly was with the Performance and Agency tests, thankfully that’s over now . Difficulty wise this game was quite challenging but it all depends on the power ups you have with you and there is a degree of luck now and again. Something I only noticed last night which I think is pretty awesome was that the DS4 lightbar changes colour as the Transistor speaks to Red. That was mindblowing and freakin badass at the same time. To conclude if you haven’t played this game it’s definitely one you wouldn’t want to miss. It’s very unique and has really good visuals and the story is pretty good. Plat difficulty 3/10 Overall enjoyment 9/10. Edited March 19, 2015 by Mcbeanstr

Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#40 - Rogue Legacy (!!!) "Ergophobia" Earn every other trophy. Rarity: 2.96% Wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow... this was - in parts - a brutally difficulty game. Much like the recent 'Mercenary Kings', this was a game that I originally picked up, thought was rubbish, but then got completely and utterly addicted to. 35 hours later, I finally got the platinum! Having not played many Rogue-like games before, I originally was a bit unsure of how to go about playing this game. I finally moved on from my 'normal' urges to explore every inch of an environment at about death 100 on my first playthrough when i had basically over-leveled everything by a huge margin and collected every item. From this point on, I started treating it with the respect it deserved. Going from a weakling who gets rekt by everyone to a hokage who one-hits everyone or a mage with a massive mana pool that destroys everything on the screen was an absolute joy. The changing layouts grew on me as well, and was part of the reason I kept coming back to see the new and exciting areas and places. First go-through, I thought the bosses were tough... whoa boy was I in for a surprise when I started to challenge the 'remix' bosses! Honestly, most of those remix bosses were some of the most challenging and rewarding 2D platforming I've done in a long time. Ponce de Freon was my favourite by far, and I felt like an absolute BOSS when I finally beat him! They required basically perfect reflexes, extremely high levels of skill and dexterity, and a lot of patience; but were definitely worth it. The 'NG+' game was an absolute piece of cake; probably only took about 1.5 hours to finish with all my upgrades. The REAL challenge, however, was in the dreaded 'Thanatophobia' (fear of death) trophy; requiring you to finish the game in <15 deaths... no small feat! I originally just gave up on this completely because of my annoyance at the shear randomness of it. Today though, I just picked it up and smashed it out first go; don't ask me how, haha. A few tips from me to any prospective 'Thanatophobia-achievers': DEFINITELY beat the first boss with your lvl 0 character; after doing the remix version, you should be able to get through it comfortably without getting hit once. Start off by playing extremely carefully and avoiding all damage if at all possible. You can speed up a bit later with classes like the hokage, but with the earlier characters, you're better off taking your time Upgrade health, strength, and critical hit chance as your 'main' point-hoggers if you like, but it's definitely worth opening up the tree to get the hokage. The 2nd and 4th bosses (assuming you're playing in level order) will go down SO quickly if you have an even remotely-leveled hokage Use the barbarian for the 3rd boss and the last boss; and UNLOCK THAT SHOUT UPGRADE!!! If you don't, both of these bosses will be a whole lot more painful Avoid rooms with lots of environment traps if at all possible. These tend to do a regular (and quite high) amount of damage to you, regardless of level, so be extra careful to avoid lots of spikes; I wouldn't even try for the 'fairy chests' with 'take no damage' requirements Try to get as many runes / as much equipment as reasonably possible. In particular, be sure to unlock the vault + sprint runes (which you get for 'free') and aim to get a grace or at least a few vampire runes. These will go a long way to ensuring your survivability. I also recommend trying to get the best sword possible; having higher damage means less time exposed to the very dangerous bosses Try to make clever use of the 'traits' of your dudes as well; 'P.A.D.' is a god-send for the 4th boss, and 'hypergonadism' is over-powered on the last boss. Obviously you've got to be lucky to get the traits with the classes you want, but that's definitely the ideal Don't spend much time in the 3rd or 4th areas; you'll very likely be under-leveled, so just aim for rooms with chests and making your way to the boss. Farm for gear in the 2nd area if possible; you get the best bang for your buck here, with the less risk to yourself DON'T BE AFRAID TO START AGAIN!!! I was lucky enough to achieve it on my first attempt today, but with many failed attempts about a week ago. If you're not happy with the money you got on a particular run, don't worry; the more you practice, the better you will get anyway! Enjoy it; this is definitely a challenging game, but also quite a fun one As I've already mentioned, this is a very challenging game to platinum, but you'll definitely find yourself getting better and better the more you play. A treat of a game for anyone who enjoys rogue-likes, platformers, or a good 2D challenge. Personal rating: 8.5/10 Platinum difficulty: 7/10 (primarily because of Thanatophobia; if you're struggling, you could always back up your saves to a USB or the cloud I suppose... but that would be cheating )
