Popular Post MatCauthon
#130 Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare (PS4) Fundead Legionnaire 7.71% - Very Rare I really enjoyed the original PvZ game, so I was excited when this was given away for free in December. All of the cuteness of the original is transferred over to a nice completive 3rd person shooter. There are a few tricky trophies on the list, but most of them will come naturally with the time spent leveling up to 50. I really enjoyed the game and am happy to say that I didn't have to boost any trophies. I did need help with the last one (Garden Crazy), which is beating the co-op mode on the hardest difficulty. Playing with randoms was pretty much a disaster, and then I realized with fewer people the mode becomes easier. I almost did it solo, but a special thanks to ChaoticDoomofBob who ended up helping me with it and it was a breeze on our second attempt.

Popular Post Raitandrul
#7 Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut True Survivor Hadn't finished an 8-bit videogame for a few years now, who would say my next one would be on a PS3? This game took me by surprise, I thought it would be a cheap game with cliches but it turned out to be awesome: nice soundtrack, 'feels' endings, funny endings (looking at you Yellow ending! ), cool characters, bosses, puzzles and map/world. I failed the White ending on my first try and ended up getting the green ending At least I still had to do the Pacifist trophy so I killed two birds with one stone. Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 4/10 (using a guide)

Popular Post dontwaketheKIDS
#77Bastion You Done Good I usually don't like games that insist on multiple playthroughs but I literally couldn't stop playing Bastion long enough to care - even when I was failing miserably at the 'Who Knows Where' dream challenges. And they were tough, doable but tough. I never owned a X360 and missed this on Steam so I was pretty excited for a PS4 release. Also, I was one of the first platinum achievers (and the slowest of the bunch as far as total time last I checked, lol) which is pretty cool. Super Giant games is probably my favorite indie developer and I can't wait to see what they will do next.

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
163-Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando This is in my top 10 favourite games of all time, it was my first game on the PS2 and it introduced me to the R&C franchise. That is why it is sad that MM screwed up the port so bad for it on Vita Once again the L2 and R2 buttons not being there was a huge problem. I had to grind out for the RYNO 2 because honestly I didn't think I could beat the game without strafing and side jumping. I was getting killed over and over at certain spots because the back touchpad wasn't reliable enough to execute the moves correctly. Also I don't know if this is true or not (as it has been awhile since i did the Ace races on PS3) but the controls for the races seemed very loose. The first 2 races I would keep bouncing around and the camera would shift awkwardly causing me to miss a ring or crash (funny enough the 3rd race only took me 3 attempts to beat ). Finally some sound effects kept disappearing or continuing beyond usage. The sheepinator was the worse as if you shot it once the sound wouldn't stop until you switched weapons. On top of that certain graphics kept disappearing and wouldn't come back until you turned off the game or switched worlds (most notably the rings in the Ace races). So while it is still a great game, I really wish they could have gotten Insomniac to port it instead of Mass Media
Popular Post dakk55
#167th Platinum Platinum Trophy I only got the game since I wanted to get all Assassin's Creed plats and decided to do this before going on Freedom's Cry and Rogue. The textures had some issues as sometimes it would take a while for it to load in, and often I've had textures pop in during some cutscenes. The story is surprisingly short and gameplay can be frustrating at times as I would jump in random directions, expecially when I'm trying to tree walk in the Bayou. The sidequests can be a chore, and the collectables feels tacked on just to extend the gameplay time. The personas felt like a great idea, but I barely even use the Lady persona, only for some sync requirements and sidequests/collectables and don't feel inclined to use that persona outside of these requirements. Most of the time I just use the Slave persona for the faster free run and to stay hidden easier. The story is a meh, which isn't surprising in the Assassin's Creed franchise, but there are some characters that wants to make me bash my head against the wall. Especially Agate and Jeanne, more Agate than Jeanne. It seems that they intentionally made Agate into a retard so they can have an excuse to get Aveline go off to Mexico and do her own thing, his only real use was giving me the blowpipe and providing some quests. But he seems more focused on angsting than actually, you know....help Aveline fight the Templars. Other than that, the game seems to be generic, honestly AC2 and Brotherhood was leaps and bounds better. Revelations and Black Flag pulls in second while ACIII could be considered slightly better but not that much. Play if you don't mind running around trying to collect everything while dealing with a retarded Agate criticizing you.

Popular Post dalailama1989
#41 - Thief Man of Steal Finally finished the last two trophies, that I was missing since I played it a year ago at the game's release. Missed only 9 Collectibles and picked them up accordingly. But I started an all new game for the secret areas - I was only missing about 15, but I had to visit all places again anyways.. I actually enjoyed this game a lot - the only thing that is a little frustrating is, that the city is really confusing and has no good indicators for the transitions between parts of the city. A fast travel system would have been nice, as well
Popular Post Ryoudji
#24 (#1337) Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Victor! Popular Post Royalredpanda
#27 - Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea All Trophies Obtained With this, I once again have all of the PS3 Atelier's completed, yay! This one is definitely the easiest out of all six of them since the time restraints were removed from the game. Though the combat leveling at the end was annoying until I had enough stats to farm the optional bosses. As for the story, it follows two young alchemists. One who wants to save her village and the other wants to become a great alchemist and get rich. I found Stera's route a lot more interesting than Lotte's, so if I played it again I would leave Stera for the second playthrough. Overall I would say the story was ok, but the ending wasn't great considering it's ending a trilogy and it ended as it did. The platinum image is pretty cute though. Now onto something else!

Popular Post usrmd
Heavy Rain Emotional story, lots of crazy turns.. the platinum is tedious to say the least. Button sequences could be challenging going for a couple of the trophies. An above user called this an "Easy" platinum, I'd call it medium difficulty, due to the All Endings trophy, and Perfect Criminal. These trophies are not exactly easy, but they are not difficult.. The guide says 1+ play through, but it's really not possible to platinum without playing quite a few scenes 5+ times. By the time you plat this, you really are a Heavy Rain master.

Popular Post Kittens Are Awesome
#55 Street Fighter X Tekken Zenith I'm just going to copy and paste my review from another site sans the first paragraph. So let's start off with the positives. The concept of a mixed fighting game is awesome. I played a lot of Tekken in my PS2 days. I've been a Street Fighter fan since the first one came out with two big sock-em buttons. The game's graphics are that of the SF4 series. The use of different camera angles during super moves really gave the feeling your opponent was getting the snot beat out of them when one connected. The sound also conveyed the strength of the attacks being delt really well. Overall, the style of the game was impressive. That is what really attracted me to the game to begin with. Now on to the cons. Jabs...jab, jab, jab, jab. That's all you really need. The fight mechanics are lackluster at best. All you need to do is connect with a jab to start a chain combo. This game is a buttom mashers dream. Very little skill is needed to master this game. I suppose the lack of online activity reflects the weak gameplay.Another giant detriment to the gameplay is the use of this garbage gem system. Whoever was on the development team that thought this was a good idea should never work in the gaming industry again. There is another huge flaw with this system that ties into my biggest gripe. Micro transactions!Let's go ahead and ignore one of the biggest issues with the micro transactions, that being on-disk "dlc." Lets talk about the over abundance of micro transactions. From gems to character colors to pre-set qick combos. With as much micro ttransactions that are in this game, it should have gone free-to-play at launch.Sorry folks, this one i cannot recommend.
Popular Post Bizz-dono
#51 Madden NFL 12 Master Congratulations on earning every Madden NFL 12 trophy! Finally got this platinum after 3 years & thinking that the servers was down. Not much to the game its madden! Hike, pass, run & touchdown lol! The realistic look is what made me wanna play this year of madden since I skipped over 11 year! Trophies was easy except the luck based one of 100 yard INT return. The MUT was new additive that was a pain & a way for EA to get more money from you. I'm glad to get this plat (ultra rare) on the self because I love sports & always wanted a football game plat! Good luck to the 2015-16 SF 49ers, hope we take the Super Bowl! Thank You! Overall 10/10 Plat 6/10

Popular Post Omar
#54 - Bloodborne Bloodborne - All trophies acquired. Hats off! Hats off indeed. Bloodborne was such a surprise in so many ways. It was challenging, creepy, intense, and extremely well built. I spent 65 hours on it, and after 3 rough hours in which all I could do was die, I found myself hooked. I basically played nothing but Bloodborne since I started, and when a game does that it really gives you insight on how well done it is. And beating it feels GOOD, I mean, the game is hard, but overcoming the challenges one after the other makes you feel like a god The story is subtle but well implemented and the gameplay allows for a wide range of different strategies and approaches towards both regular fiends and mighty bosses. The soundtrack is grim and outstanding, a perfect mood setter in most cases. And the side content, in the shape of Chalice Dungeons, offers the biggest and most varied challenge the game has to offer, with brand new loot and bosses exclusive to said dungeons. The amount of detail FROM has put in this game has made me a fan. I never tried the Souls games, but from Bloodborne onwards I doubt I'll be missing any Edited April 13, 2015 by Omar
