Not a whole lot to say here. Game is beyond easy. If you see this game for 5 dollars and you want a few silvers and an easy platinum then pick this game up

I really enjoyed this game, it took about 45 hours for my play-through and then another 15 hours of trophy clean up and leveling. The world and lore is interesting and the game is pretty well written if you give it a chance. The idea of a world driven entirely by fate, which is now unraveling, disrupting the balance of nature and bringing with it war and uncertainty all the while with you right in the thick of it able to manipulate fate is intriguing.

 

The combat is fun engaging and the ease to which you can switch up your class or pick and choose between the different classes helps keep the game feeling fresh. The game also deserves credit for allowing you to use bad-ass chakrams like Xena the Warrior Princess. 

 

The games biggest problem is an overabundance of samey content. You can mitigate this by ignoring the majority of the side quests that don't seem interesting and just focus on the factions and the main quests. This helps with the pacing and helps keep you from becoming over-leveled.

 

Some of the trophy tracking can be a little frustrating. or instance the most miss-able trophy has you successfully passing 50 persuasion checks but there's no way to know how many you've done. On the collectible front there are 170 lorestones spread throughout Amalur that you have to find. This takes some time but at least they offer interesting tidbits of the lore and there is a way to highlight them on your maps.

 

I'd recommend this to someone who likes rpgs and has enough time to sink into a game this large. I wouldn't be surprise if there was another 60 hours of content that I didn't complete. KoA:R was certainly an ambitious title, it's a shame we won't be getting another. Be warned there's a problem with the dlc for the digital version of the game.

 

Overall I'd give it 6.5/10 for enjoyment, a 5/10 for difficulty and a 8/10 for time commitment needed.

The game still one of the best survival horror games ever made, this collection has it's shares of problems, but the blame is on the job of those who did it, the game itself, remains one of the best experiences any gamer could have when it comes to survival horror

This was a pain, mainly for a couple mistakes I made on my second playthrough, either way, it took me longer than it should've. I'm glad I'm done with it, the game is amazing, but that very specific kind of grind needed to get the plat, is way too annoying.

At first I was like ... "Oh no.. what have I done... I would never be able to beat this game....    "

It was my first rythm-game...  (and I enjoyed it).  

But at the end I was able to play Tengaku on hard with the perfectionist-challengeitem.

This item will drain your lifepoints when you dont hit the note "cool". Even "good" (seems to be "fine" in PS3 version) is "awful" then    But this item also grant you 400% DivaPoints (money) when you win.

Also, it is my most favorite song of the game. Followed by Ashes to Ashes and Remote Controller.  

 

 

Guess Im playing the PS3-version too... seperate trophylist and nobody can say its "easy" like SoundShapes or Sly

Hey mate, the game itself is the classic we all love, still amazing after all these years and also remains one of the best survival games to date.

Although I would love to tell you that the game works perfectly,  I can't fully express this. it's random those glitches, and in our 10 stars run, it may freeze the game resulting in loss of progress, since you're going to need to beat the game if all of those requirements, one of then being the saves, it may trouble you, I experience twice in my 10 stars runs and I had to start the game again, no doubt I was sad, but if the game being so good,I didn't let my controller down until I was if the platinum, also it helped me learn more and more to my 10 stars run. If all that being sad, unfortunately the glitches are there, and it may happen in your run. At least they can happen early in th game, and all of mine were at the apartment or hospital. So it's all prior your first "official " save point. 

In my opinion was worth it, I didn't get bored at all.

Game is incredibly easy on Elite. There are a couple spots that might make you get stuck here and there (bots on loading zone, refinery, per example, I was stuck at), but nothing what people make out of it. In fact, if I knew before it was not going to be painfully hard as people say, I wouldn't have postponed this game for 11 months (wow, seriously did I postpone it for that long?).

 

Anyone can platinum this game on the sp part, it's just a matter of getting confortable with the controls (which I found terrible at the beginning, but got used to after the first playthrough). Play carefully, because most of your bullets will look like they don't hit (bad execution?).

 

If I had to compare this game to black ops 1 and wolfenstein (my last shooters platinum), I would say that Wolfenstein is a 4, Killzone 2 is a 5 and Black Ops 1 is a 8 (yeah, seriously...). All this is considering ONLY sp wise. MP is nothing to worry about, I got it done within a day and boosted my partner on the next day, both to 1%. Nowadays the servers are just horrible, beware before starting it.

 

Looking forward next for Black Ops 2 or Okami in my friendly competition with superbuu3. PS Vita gonna be OlliOlli2 soon.

#94 - God of War: Chains of Olympus

 

My God of War streak continues with in my opinion, the hardest entry I've played. The enemies seemed tougher

and there were less chests to restore health. I think the story was a little better than Ghost of Sparta, but I missed

the combat arena from it. This one is probably my least favorite of the series now. I think I'll take a break before I

attempt GOW 3 so I don't get completely sick of the series

I love this game, I played it on my old account but did not get the platinum. So I decided to replay and get it. Nothing difficult.

Auto Fanatic was really easy as I followed a guide. Hollywoodland was also very easy but very boring to get.

This game was absolutely fantastic. I've never been a huge fan of LOTR and that stuff, but I truly enjoyed this game. I tried to think what I didn't like this game and I couldn't figure out too many things. Controls were little bit clunky and sometimes I got stuck in walls, but other than that I liked the gameplay a lot. Fighting against huge army of orcs was just so much fun. Nemesis-system was really brilliant idea and l'd like to see that kind of thing in other  games too. It gave me great satisfaction when I finally got revenge against some orcs who had killed me earlier, and it was great that they did remember you from your earlier encounter. In the beginning of the game I died a lot, so I had lots of these experiences. This game isn't hard, but first when you don't have so much powers it is really easy to get overwhelmed by enemies. Especially if you play like me and just run towards every enemy you see... Combat was really nice and usually when I died it was my own fault.

 

Story of this game was good, but nothing mindblowing. My favorite missions were probably the ones where you hunt with Torvin. Torvin was awesome. Last two missions on the other hand wasn't really that good. Fight against The Tower was too easy and the final boss was a joke really. I would've like to see some challenge on those encounters but I'm not going to cry about that too much.

 

If you haven't played this game yet, I really recommend you to do it as soon as you can. Trophies are easy and the game is just really fun to play. It took me 20 hours of gameplay to get the platinum and there wasn't really any boring parts in the game. I'm definitely going to get the DLC packs. Lord of the Hunt especially seems really nice because I get to hang out some more with my boy Torvin.

Finally after some time here i am again, now with FALLOUT 3 plat.

The game is cool, a game released in 2008 if i am not mistaken, in that year people should be very happy with such a game, i just played it now, even having the game here 2 years +/-, it's a friend game, it's not mine, but i enjoyed the game, sometimes PS3 freeze ok, 10 times maybe, sometimes AI just get stuck NOOOOOO

But because i followed a trophy guide was cool, they said to make a lot of saves, i had +25 save files, so was not a problem at all.

 

The trophies are not that difficult but because have that glitched ones for some people and that stuff i gave a 5, even though for me a 4 or even a 3 for the most patience people will be fine

 

So... nice game, imagine this in 2008, damn... with simple trophies, more one plat ^^
