Popular Post zeldagate13
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor I'm a big fan of Assassin's Creed and Batman Arkham series, so this was a perfect game for me as it combines many elements from them. My only complaint was the final boss and the climax of the ending mission as a whole... but anyway a great game in general.
Popular Post Dead Weight
#104 Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number TROPHY ADDICT Unlock all Trophies I still hear the awesome tracks in my head. The game is good but it's more difficult than the first one; larger maps, more enemies and more windows resulted me in dying too many times from an offscreen enemy with a gun. Some of the levels are really fun, like Scene 12, while are others are just dull and boring, like Scene 11. Also the 50,000 kill trophy is a really dumb grind.
Popular Post Omar
#55 - Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Agito Achieved - Obtained all trophies I have a few things to say about this one. The game itself has an excelling soundtrack, a good battle system, great difficulty curve, tons and tons of content and baby chocobos, it feels like the perfect mixture. However, the whole thing put together didn't fully work for me, I don't know if it was the meh storyline or the even meh-er Class Zero charisma, but I didn't get as invested in the game as I had expected to. Then you watch the ending. Let's be honest: the ending is one huge work of art. To give you some perspective, the man behind Crisis Core: FFVII is the one behind this one too. However, I have to be critical: a good ending does not justify the rest of the plot being basically not interesting. Most of Class Zero is one-dimensional and clichéd - there's the "yo" guy, the "I hate everything" girl, the sweet, naïve lady, the philosopher, and the list goes on. It is kinda justified story-wise, but still relating to them proves to be complicated until the final chapter. In terms of gameplay, the game has amazing depth and that is a huge plus, I feel like I didn't even see half of the content, so there are hours and hours of gaming there. All in all it was a good game that I had anticipated as outstanding. It is by no means a bad game, but my expectations were not fully met. That been said, it is indeed a raw and mature Final Fantasy, which felt fresh! Edited April 21, 2015 by Omar

Popular Post DamagingRob
#52-Hitman: Contracts Perfect Assassin Unlock all trophies This was much more fun than I thought it'd be. Never played a Hitman game prior to 2 days ago, so I didn't know what to expect. But I really did enjoy it. I'm a big fan of the Splinter Cell series, and this reminded me of those. Getting the Plat wasn't as easy as I thought it'd be, though. ^^' Trophy guide I used states it's only a 3/10 difficulty level. That must not have been updated for awhile, 'cause the thread where it's voted on has an average of 5/10. I feel that's a bit more accurate. Still, not too rough. If going for the all the trophies on Professional like I did, when it comes to the mini-gun I have a small suggestion that I think makes things much easier. The trophy guide video has you shooting with it, while wearing the hospital gown. I tried that and promptly got killed with one shot from a Swat member's shotgun.. Since I had gone backwards for the missing weapons and had just done quite a few runs on this level for them, everything was still fresh in my mind. For the shotgun, you had to take the elevator to the 2nd floor first and could change into a Swat uniform. With that on, you at least won't die in one shot(I took a few hits on my second attempt and was still standing). Made my life easier, at least.

The graphics reminds me of why I love PS so much . The details of the game looks so realistic it tricked me almost! Remixing people thoughts, playing with people memories was very interesting! The game itself is not challenging to me, just the combos took a little getting use to! Fun game, easy to follow along & the story really pulls you in! Bad part about the game was it was out of sync sometimes & would glitch causing me to have to reload the last checkpoint alot! Thank You! Popular Post dakk55
#168th Platinum Platinum Trophy Where do I start? After finishing up Liberation and Freedom Cry, I was hoping for another Assassin's Creed game that was more of a full game than a cheap vita or DLC turned standalone. Rogue was surprisingly enjoyable, although the story was a bit short compared to other Assassin's Creed game, and being the second easiest plat in my opinion, beaten by Liberation. A reason for that was no multiplayer trophies requiring boosting sessions or constantly playing Wolfpack over and over again. Although it does have alot of collectables and events to finish, and some of the Gangs/Ice Cave/Settlements/etcs can be a bit tricky, especially when doing it with stealth. The only real challenge was one or two sync requirements and the Legendary Ships, especially the Triple Threat, although I was able to trick them into attacking eachother and when the last one was left, I kept constantly on the move. The Navy Convoy trophy was a bit of a pain as well, but that was really only due to the Navy Convoy apparently not wanting to spawn, I kept geting Prision ships or Sea Battles. Thankfully I got it, one by one over the time I was collecting the Animus fragments and doing sidequests. The story was a fresh take on the franchise, taking the moment to show a different perspective of the battlefield, playing as the "bad guy" for once, although it certainly can seem like the Templars are the good guys considering the Assassins for once was crossing the line in their actions. One of my biggest gripes of the gameplay was the inclusion of the Stalkers, I don't know how often I was running from place to place, or chasing down a target, only to wind up in a critial condition by a stab to the chest, it certainly didn't help that I was listening to my music during my gaming. The "Real World" sections aren't really a big thing to talk about, with the exception of a few elaborations in the AC lore and history. If you want to try out the game, go right ahead. Just try to make sure you get used to stalkers, and fast.
Popular Post x9zachattack5x
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel #160 Borderland Defender Round 1.5 Unlocked all Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel trophies. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 50hrs This game wasn't as fun as Borderlands 2 but was better than the first Borderlands. Getting to see the evolution of Jack to Handsome Jack was a real treat. This game had a great story which filled the gap between the first two games. My main character was Nisha "The Law-bringer". I thought she was badass in Borderlands 2 so I gave her a try and wasn't disappointed at all. She's hilarious, spunky, and kinky which made her character even funnier. I would suggest this game to anyone really. Love shooters? Play it. Love action-adventures? Play it. RPGs? Play it. Want a laugh? Play it. Popular Post Makilio
#19: Final Fantasy X HD Remaster (Completion) SPHERES FOR THE SPHERE GOD, DARK YOJIMBO. But seriously, it was a pretty fun game (I didn't have the chance to play it before the remaster). The plot was pretty good, and all of the characters were likable (including several not "important" NPCs). I stopped playing sometime between unlocking the Dark Aeons and finishing the sphere grid, so all I had left was lots of grinding. Well, now I can start playing X-2 without feeling guilty.
Popular Post Kashiyuka
Trophy #5000: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Agito Achieved Obtained all trophies. Held out on importing the game for four years in hopes of an eventual localisation, and I'm glad I finally got to experience it with upgraded graphics. This game is proof that Square Enix can create gritty, dark, and violent stories in contrast to their track-record of - not kiddy, but definitely 'family-friendly' games in the Final Fantasy franchise. I loved the characters, the setting, the music, and the ending was amazing. It tied off the story so perfectly. Too bad the next game I'm looking forward to on PS4 doesn't release until September...
Popular Post Valkyreth
Saints Row IV Kingpin Fun game, I enjoyed it. The dialog was very entertaining and the DLC was much more enjoyable than the ones from the previous game. However the game hardly changed much from it's predecessor - you're in the same city as Saints Row 3 except now you have superpowers. So instead of feeling like a new game it just feels like an expansion. It's still an enjoyable game nonetheless, but if you played SR3 and expect more content from this game you'll be disappointed. I loved it. nuff said(maybe I am still too happy that it has no Hovercraft race). trophy-wise - definitely the most grindy among the 3 games in R&C collection but the most fun for me...esp. leveling up the weapons seriously, thought that Sheepinator was the best weapon so far, then I got Qwack-o-Ray I definitely recommend this game (and the R&C Collection) to everyone esp. if you love Action 3-D platformer like Sly, Jak and Crash Bandicoot series.
Popular Post audiopile
Difficulty&Enjoyment 3/10 This game is comparable to inFamous but I liked inFamous far more. No hard trophies, only challenging part in this game was fighting the Hydra on the first play through and the last boss on NG+ (Hard). The good guide helped with a few things. Pretty easy once you level up the character, but still grindy because you have to fly all over the place to get to the missions. I ended up turning of the dialogue for the NG+ playthrough, unnecessary amount of cursing. Edited April 22, 2015 by audiopile

Popular Post HeartUnderBlade
#26 - FINAL FANTASY XIII This game really made me work for the platinum, about 120 hrs, lots of grind, and a lot more of grind, but hey, it was great, certainly not the best Final Fantasy but it's a solid game and I enjoyed it, yes even the grind....The themes are awesome, I think more games should do this, great rewards, not just the satisfaction of achieving the plat but you also get something neat! Also this is a game that I almost gave up on, every game I've wanted to plat, I've done so, I'm not a platinum hunter, I just get the plat of the games I enjoy and like, with that being said, I'm super glad I didn't gave up (entirely) so a big 'thank you' to Timanthon & Neputyunu, I wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of you guys, sounds cliche I know but after putting this game away for months you helped me in more ways than just explaining stuff, so thank you.
Popular Post Hemiak
#66: Rogue Legacy ErgophobiaEarn every other trophy. Ok, so I'm extremely pleased with myself and proud of this one. I had so much fun with this game and played all the way to NG+8 just for the hell of it. I'll probably go back after a little time with some of the games I've been neglecting and see how far I can push it. For those of you who didn't pick this up with PS+ last month(or two months ago, can't remember) it's fantastic. It's a 2D platformer set in a randomly generated castle. Each time you die you level up your next character and head back in for more fun. If you're into this type of genre, or fondly remember gaming in the 80s like myself you will love this game. The only sticking points for the platinum is beating the "Remixed" version of each boss, and beating the entire game with under 15 deaths. On my first run I finished with 149 deaths, I had over 250 when I finished NG+2 and had everything but Thanataphobia done. Popular Post vampiresarego
#33 - Axiom Verge (PS4) PatternMind 3 weeks, 2 hours, 8 minutes Axiom Verge is one of those rare games that just get it. With a huge nod to classic NES game Metroid, this game truly captures the scale and scope of that first Samus Aran adventure. From the first time main character Trace wakes up, to the end, there isn't a single moment that feels wasted or tedious. I actually had to play through this game 4 times in it's entirety to achieve this platinum trophy, and not once did I feel bored or even tired of the game. If you ask me, I could probably play this game another 4 times, and still have the same feelings about it. Every element of this game is perfectly crafted. The game play, the art style, and the music are incredible. The fact that Thomas Napp, one man, created this entire game over a 4 year period is outstanding. I would recommend this game to any one, if you are one of those people that love those classic Metroid games, please do yourself a favour. Axiom Verge... it's been a pleasure and an honour.
