Popular Post greenzsaber
Geometry Wars 3 Vita Awesome game. Best PS+ game I've played so far this year. I highly recommend anyone who has PS+ and a Vita to try this one out. It has some co-op mode trophies, but don't worry, I can confirm it's 100% doable solo, and even if it's too hard solo, you just need to grab a nearby person who is willing to play co-op with you for a few minutes.
Popular Post Superstarmaste1r
#17 Murdered Soul Suspect Moving On... This game is really interesting that I really glad I bought the game for cheap for $16.86. The game feels cool that it sort of reminds me of LA. Noire by investigating things to solve. The good parts are the story even though it isn't that the best and most follow to pay attention but the ending was really good with some nice quotes. Bad parts are it is short even though my first play through is a little long by collecting collectibles and talking to ghosts where I thought that is part the trophy but find out only talking to them who have side quests those are the only one I have to talk to. Also, fighting the demons is so annoying that I got a jump scare every time I hear their screaming. They got one of the best finding ability I ever see in a video game. Even I am a far away room, they can still find me easily and I have to keep on running away hoping they are done searching for me. A good game to try out to buy(if it is cheap say 10 dollars to 19 dollars) and one of those games to ignore the hate that the critics score really harsh that may be overlooked.Might take the game back or keep it not so sure what to do. Popular Post bald_merchant
Platinum #86 - Saints Row: Gat out of Hell"Scorched Savior"I'm a big fan of Saints Row games, Johnny Gat is badass, but maybe this game best done as a DLC for the fourth game rather than making it a stand-alone game. You have a big map with little story missions, 20 hours of doing challenges and collecting 1000+ collectables, I didn't like this game not because of the trophy list at all but it's so.. quite! Come on, you're in hell and there's no soundtracks?! or any king of sounds at all in free play other than the voice of Gat/Kinzie, which made the game boring to me. I enjoyed co-op mode and the fallen angel wings ability plus the seven deadly sins weapons, other than that, nothing good to say.Worth saying: One trophy glitched on me, "complete all the challenges", the task "100% takeover downtown" stock at 22/23 so what I did is joining a random co-op game and finished an activity in the same district "downtown" and bingo! The problem is the game sometimes don't record completed activities and once you've collected/gold medal/cleared an activity you can't do it again, so either you start a new game or join another player on co-op that didn't yet cleared all activities "hopefully for you" in the glitched district.Time: 23h (20 single player - 3 co-op)This weapon "Seven Deadly Sins - Lust" Boom Chicka rifle is so funny!but still the Dubstep rifle from SR4 is my favorite Edited July 11, 2015 by BuJabra89

My Apology though, buddy, that It took me awhile, before I completed my sworn promise back in 14'. But then again, both are now and complete! I enjoyed playing this game for the fact that it adds to what I already know in the God Of War saga, that voice over of the Narrator, never gets old. I'll give a 8/10 - Fun Factor and a 4/10 - For the Difficulty ( ) Now, I need your input guys. Popular Post cybershark91
#38 inFAMOUS Second Son Achievement Date: July 11th 2015 Well, after I liked Infamous First Light so much, I really had to play Infamous Second Son as well. And I really enjoyed it. It's a game I will play from time to time for sure. In my opinion it fells actually the most like a "Avatar" game, you know, the anime. It's awesome to control more then one superpower. I can only recommend this game. My Game rating: 10/10 One of the games, I had the most fun while playing it. I enjoyed everything. My Platinum difficulty rating: 04/10 Actually it's easy, but I had personally some problems in the hardest difficulty play through. So just my own opinion regarding difficulty. Popular Post J2V89
#83 DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition #2 PS4 Platinum After playing the PS3 version of DmC Devil May Cry 2 years ago, I really enjoyed it. I recently decided to get the Definitive Edition since it still is a good game on the PS4 and I do enjoy remasters. It looks better and has all the dlc included in it and also has some new modes to it. Earning this platinum was a bit more easier compared to the PS3 version. I recommend it to anyone who has played the PS3 and also to anyone who hasn't played. It's definitely worth having in your collection. This is my 2nd PS4 platinum.
Popular Post TheIncinerator1
A bit on the late side thanks to last weekend's 4th and a hectic week, but eh, better late than never. Batman: Arkham Knight And with this one comes the 3rd game to get a plat on my PS4 as well as completes the Arkham main-line trilogy. My Vita's backlog is probably gonna start seeing more love in the coming month or so though, unless there's something from now til' Phantom Pain that I might be missing, but I digress.Batman Arkham Knight is technically the fourth installment for the main games, as Arkham Origins was made in between City and Knight as a prequel to the entire Arkhamverse essentially being it's Year One, but since it wasn't developed by Rocksteady, depending on personal preference, most might consider the game a side thing and look to what RS has done as a trilogy. That aside, Arkham Knight is the final entry in the series, taking place almost directly after the events of City, putting an end to the story of this universe's version of the Dark Knight as he goes up against some of that deadly rogue's gallery of his including a new unknown figure calling himself game title-related (for the purposes of brand recognition at this point, let's be honest). It's the big ending, so it obviously it has to pull out the big guns and go out with a bang right? Everything has been building up to this after all. Well, it goes out with a bang alright, but not necessarily one I can say I liked all that much. Now, I rarely looked into much about the game after it was announced and kept myself fairly in the dark purposely until release to get a fresh experience without hearing what they added, what they hadn't, or what direction they were going to go in this time. I also came in blind not realizing that Paul Dini of the animated series fame wasn't going to be making a return for this one, but when I did find out, I thought I'd give whoever was writing this one a shot, since it's only fair. I think the only addition I had heard prior to release was the inclusion of the Batmobile/tank/tumbler, which I thought was kind of neat, not necessarily needed, but hey it could be a cool addition. In short, because of coming in this way my expectations weren't high, yet they also weren't low, I tried to keep myself as grounded as possible since I didn't want to hype myself up too much. I really REALLY enjoyed Rocksteady's last two titles in the series, though most might call them easy with an over simplified combat system, I can't help but love them, especially for all the Bat-lore shout-outs that comes up in each. But, now that I put all that into perspective I'll get to it:While Asylum was a self contained Action-Adventure game which had you roaming around and exploring a single area; Ever since City, the Arkham games have gone the more open-world route, having you traverse through a large map while progressing through the story and completing various side missions, not unlike your average sandbox title, and Arkham Knight continues that trend. Although the games have changed in that one aspect, what has remained consistent throughout is the combat and the stealth sections (otherwise known as predator missions). These two mechanics are usually the core of the game, whether it be missions involving one of Batman's villains sending their thugs at you or challenges outside of the main game where you're asked to perform a number of tasks to complete them. For the most part, you're gonna be spending most of your time wailing on enemies or hiding from them to pick them off one by one from the shadows or convieniently placed vantage points. Besides that though, the series is also known to occasionally throw you some light detective-like elements in there for good measure, as you can't have a "Batman Simulator without them. Now, what Arkham Knight DOES bring fresh to the series however, is the newly introduced core mechanic, the Bat-Mobile, which I guess now gives us the complete Batman experience nix being able to pilot the Bat-wing, but trust me, after I had a large dose of tank sequences in this game, I think the car is enough. As far as any other major changes though, Arkham Knight really only has the Bat-Mobile going for it, everything else is pretty much more of the same with a few new kinks added to the mix, which is to be expected as the sequels have been more about just improving on the previous entries, so that's something I can't knock too much.As I stated before, regarding large maps, Gotham City this time around is huge and even a bit overwhelming when you first boot up Knight which I kind of loved. There are three big areas that gradually unlock to play around with and once you get the ball rolling there's just a lot of things to do in each of them, so content wise I thought was pretty plentiful all things considered. Because of how large they've made the game, grappling around has also been made easier and faster, wayyy faster, and I honestly had a lot of fun just roaming around aimlessly at times taking in the sights. Graphically the game also looks amazing with a lot of attention to small details in the terrain as well as Batman himself pushing the last of that UE3 engine hard, so it's no wonder stopping every now and then to check out some areas was pretty common in two of my playthroughs. The combat system while still the same as the previous titles was pretty fun to mess around with again, as it's one of those systems where it's extremely easy to learn, but slightly hard to master if you're trying to maintain combos while using a variety of moves and gadgets on the fly in one staight fight without getting hit. The predator sections can kind of have a slight challenge as well if you're going for a variety of takedowns, but usually the combat in these games are the ones that can be a little more on the hectic side (for more reasons than another). The biggest change in the two modes that I thought was probably the best part of the game was the "Dynamic Duo" sections which has you teaming up with one of Batman's allies (Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman) to take down enemies left and right. In these sections you have the ability to switch between Batman and whomever you're paired up with at anytime during a fight either manually or automatically following the newly added dual takedowns which makes it feel like you're playing something right out of a Batman comic panel. The game also gives the player one stealth sequence where you're able to switch between Batman and Robin (yes, only one), and while it's pretty much the only one you get, I loved every second of it and wished there had been a little more of these, as I probably had the most fun with anything that allowed you to occasionally play as another member of the Bat-family.Honestly, everything stated so far is pretty much where most of the positivity lied in my eyes for this game, as everything else sort of left me conflicted. I'm sure most have heard the complaints by now, but the Bat-Mobile really killed majority of the appeal of the game for me. The Bat-mobile offers a few new sections for both the main game and side missions. The sections for the main game usually included drone fights where the tank engages multiple conveniently unmanned drones and stealthy tank fights (no, I'm not kidding) which has you trying to slowly approach large tanks from the back to destroy them. Side missions on the other hand mainly consisted of diffusing bombs to... well get into uh.. more tank fights, or playing follow me with a certain bat villian that pops up, or Batman: Burnout edition with armored cars, why not. The riddler's new challenges even involve the Bat-mobile, but those mainly consist of "race the clock" challenges that really weren't needed for a Batman title. The car doesn't really even serve as a good means of travelling around Gotham, as you tend to grapple your way around almost ten times as fast then if you were to high tail it on the road, not too mention the damn thing can be pretty damn clunky when it wants to, especially for some sections where it has you ocassionally going upside down as if it were MIB.The story (I'll be spoilering if necessary, don't worry), was probably the most underwhelming as well as extremely predictable, and while granted that tends to be most things cape related in a nutshell, I can't help but feel things really could've been done a little bit better than what was given. The premise this time around (taking place a little after Joker's death) revolves around Scarecrow as the big bad, who threatens to let his fear gas let loose on the entire city (when is he not doing this) which in turn has every civilian besides Gotham's most wanted evacuating, causing everyone and their mother to fight for power asap. The main focus of the game however, is who Scarecrow teams up with to take down the bat for good, the Arkham Knight, who is a mysterious (quote unquote) figure dawning a hi-tech suit not unlike the dark knight himself, who knows all of his moves and tactics and gives him hell as soon as he pops up on screen. The story goes on from there, and while it starts off alright, it takes a few turns I found disappointing, bringing Joker back in Bruce's mind was probably one of them, and while technically it was a plot point brought up in City with the whole blood thing, I feel like they really can't let go of the guy for 3 seconds because of his popularity. I will admit, how they brought him back was kind of neat, and some of the segments near the end were actually pretty cool, but I just don't know. I also think most people (or at least once they started reaching certain parts of the game if they weren't familiar with any bat-lore) knew who the Arkham Knight was going to be.Was kind of hoping they didn't go that route at first, but I had a feeling it was going to happen, I didn't exactly hate it though. The biggest thing I disliked was the open-ended knightfall ending, I really wish they would've just completely ended the series already, have this version of Bruce die protecting his city, legitimately I mean, making way for his proteges, but similar to Joker it's like it's an unwritten rule that none of that is allowed. So what kind of game is Batman Arkham Knight, is it good, is it bad? Well it's not really bad per se I can tell you that much. I still feel like a good amount of love is put into these games, and Arkham Knight still kind of felt like that. It's just looking back at my two playthroughs I can't help but have a bad taste in my mouth with some of the decisions they made for this entry. Hell, I still feel like I'm missing some things I wanted to say about the game that had me questioning RS this time around, but I don't want come off as overly negative about the whole thing. I still had fun with AK, I think it was still a pretty solid Batman game, but I can't say I enjoyed like I did the previous ones. If you're a Batfan, a fan of the Arkham games, or a fan of the modern day brawler with a bit of stealth to it you're going to definitely want to pick it up, and who knows, maybe you'll like the Bat-Mobile sections more than I did. Brace yourself though, since it takes up a big portion of the game. Side Note:Here's some tl;dr that I felt with the game to summarize everything. Some stuff I left out of the wall of text, but these are general thoughts I wrote down before writing the whole long thing:+Batman Simulator returns+Dynamic Duo parts were great (should've had more of these)+Looks way better graphically+You get around a lot faster now grappling+Map is a lot bigger than City-The story was underwhelming, want to say probably because lack of Paul Dini. Not too mention predictable everything.- The Knightfall ending wasn't all that great, and I feel tried to be the Nolan movies near the end a little too much -Could just be me, but I feel in general the game tries way too hard to be the Nolanmovies, moreso than the previous for some reason.-BATTUMBLER SECTIONS, ALL 75% OF THEM THAT TAKE UP THE GAME-Lack of ACTUAL boss fights. Tank fights just didn't do it for me-Combat system and Predator system can be very glitchy when it wants to be-Riddler Challenges replaced with short AR challenges. While Riddler Challenges could be tedious, a solid middle ground with them could've been found-DLC content provided thus far are EXTREMELY short Edited July 11, 2015 by Inc

Popular Post Jak
07/10/2015 #72 Rocket League Virtuoso Unlock All Trophies Judged this game poorly when I saw the July Lineup trailer. Have no idea why I gave this game that I had no interest in, at all, a try, but i'm glad I did. It's immensely fun.. fun enough to the point where this game can be enjoyed and played post-platinum. I'm still playing this post-platinum because of the fact. Difficultly - 2/10 (sorry, but some skill is required here, unlike games like TWD. Easys aren't always 1/10) Enjoyment 9/10 (because I suck at executing consistent shots towards to goal.. for some reason) This is also my third platinum this month. I don't usually do this and haven't done it in a while, since im not like most people who have 100+ plats where they have so(oo) many easy (indies and kid like games) platinums and duplicate platinums. I'm aiming for two more platinums so I can reach a total of 5 earned plats this month. School heavily got in my way of earning trophies (not earning trophies for three months plus), so im using my short summer break to catch up (with platinums and 100%s). Slipknot_rooney
Arkham Knight. Been a long time since I've had this much fun with a game. Loved everything about about it. Finally get to drive the Batmobile! Like all games, it has it's faults. Lacks boss battles big time and the DLC is so so short, so short I'm hoping we're getting more DLC. Only took a few minutes for each pack (three at the moment with Batgirl on the way!!!!!!), as fun as they are, it's too short and I want more. I love Batman though so this game will get nothing but praise from me. I would have liked to explore Gotham as Robin and Nightwing at the end, that would have been really cool, seeing as we get to play as them rarely, bit of a missed opportunity. So yeah, amazing game, likely my personal GOTY. Anyway, time to go, need more Batman .

Popular Post Jounochi
Forgot to post this one but.... Platinum #59 - Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PS3) Finally! Lost my save on this back in 2012 (One of my first PS3 games as well) and just didn't have the drive to get everything again. I started this up early last month before I started traveling and got a lot of the annoying collectibles out of the way. For some reason I decided last night that I was going to platinum this last night so I did like 43 races straight. (This included Needle Point which was done in one attempt )The game itself is solid. It looks great (Much better than the VITA version) and the music is very well selected. Driving around the city is loads of fun, but outside of the races and collectibles there isn't much to do.It is a very good game overall and I would suggest playing the PS3 version if anyone here ever decides to get it.Game Rating: 8/10Difficulty Rating: 2/10 And one more from today... Platinum #60 - The Wolf Among Us (PS4) Hopefully this is one of my last double plats in the near future. I got this along with that Tell Tale bundle a while back and didn't get around to it.Booting it up I already knew what to expect since I played it on the PS3, but it was good to see all of the characters once more. The game runs AMAZING on the PS4! The only real skips I ran into were when it was playing the opening cutscene in every episode. Other than that... perfect!I like the story, and I've put my save file on the cloud since I look forward to another season if they plan on it.Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 (Collectibles :/)Game Rating: 8/10Should be posting my Order plat tomorrow... crazy with how much work I've had lately, but I won't complain!
