Popular Post madbuk
#110 - LittleBigPlanet 2 100% Complete Something about this game just didn't feel fun after playing the masterpiece that was LittleBigPlanet on the PS Vita. The main game wasn't too bad, until I lost my data at 29/30 aces - and I had most of the bubbles - to the YLOD. That made me give up, and add to that the bullshit DLC and equipment required to play it, I just couldn't be bothered. Recently, I got a PS Move, and the money for the DLC (and I already owned a Vita), so I had everything required to 100% this game and I decided to give it another shot. Fuck the DLC. Seriously. The PS Move DLC is among the worst DLC I have endured, it's ridiculous and gimmicky and the minigames are the exact opposite of fun. I felt like I had paid for something only masochists would enjoy. And then you have the Vita pack, which just doesn't work unless you have somebody to couch co-op with you (1 person on Vita, one using the Dualshock controller). And I didn't. That DLC was horrible too. The base game wasn't that bad really, but some of the trophies (50 unique plays, 25 dive ins, 1440 minutes in Create mode) just weren't enjoyable to get, especially because of the changes to dive ins that made it harder than it used to be. I met some real weirdos with that feature... Huge thanks to Bth9698 for all the support they provided in helping me do the shitty Move minigames and get the multiplayer bubbles. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#56 - Terminator Salvation Well, this one has got quite a fame to it. It's by no means as terrible of a game as many make it out to be though. Don't get me wrong, it's not a good game, but it's a not a bad one either, it's just somewhere in the average range. A fairly easy stride to the plat, with decent enough gameplay and story. Major flaws are the floaty aiming in vehicle sections and the bad A.I. (companions/enemies alike). Popular Post MStalker58
#59 Dead Nation Romero Would Be Proud I picked this game up for around $0.80 during a flash sale. It was definitely one of the best dollars I've spent recently. Most people have probably played this game by now, since it's been on PS+, but if you haven't and you find it on sale for cheap, i'd recommend giving it a try, especially if you like old school top-down dual stick shooters. Yes, zombies are the most overused theme in video games right now, but I still enjoyed killing what seemed like endless hordes of them in Dead Nation. I never felt safe and the tension remained high due to the fact that you couldn't take more than a few steps before a massive horde sent you backpedaling. Once you cleared them out and started forward again, it never failed that 20 more would appear in front of you, with another 20 swarming you from behind. This is the basic premise for most of the game, along with "arena" type areas where you are locked into a tight area with what feels like 1000's of zombies attacking you from all angles. These areas, like the frustrating end of "The Graveyard" usually require you to use a strategy in order to survive and can be pretty rough on the harder difficulties. The trophies in the game are fairly straightforward and the toughest one was probably just beating the game on Morbid. I wouldn't say that Morbid was very hard or anything, but it did provide some challenging areas that took me a few tries to figure out what strategy worked best. There's nothing more maddening than barely surviving a massive fight with countless special zombies, only to have 1 weak straggler kill you afterwards simply because he blends into the background and you can't see him. With some patience and practice though, the platinum isn't too bad. I just noticed the Dead Nation platinum was also my 3,000 trophy which is kinda cool. I don't have the patience to plan those out so this was my 1st platinum that fell on a trophy milestone.
Popular Post snakebit10
#152 Super Exploding Zoo Everything's Ruined Thanks to PS plus for this. I don't think I would of bought it if it wasn't a plus game. Don't get me wrong it has it's good moments. The funnest part was figuring out how to beat some of the levels. Most could be done in 1 or 2 attempts but there was a few that took me several tries.

Popular Post straysheep87
# 94 - Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal So I finally finish this trilogy, this game is easier than the previous ones, only the vid comics timed challenges are annoying, but overall, another great game from this franchise... can't wait to play the new R&C on PS4!!
Popular Post dontwaketheKIDS
#81Rocket League Virtuoso A classic "easy to learn, yet hard to master" game. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a PS+ game at release. Overall, a very easy trophy list and fun ride to the platinum. Most trophies can be earned in exhibition mode or boosted in private matches with friends, but multiplayer (specifically 3 vs. 3, imo) is where Rocket League shines and is well worth going back to post-platinum.
Popular Post Royalredpanda
#36 - Rocket League Virtuoso Another Rocket League post! Everyone's pretty much already said it, this game was surprisingly fun. There's only one online trophy that requires you to actually play a 'real' match and that's the one to play with a friend. The rest could be obtained by just playing in a match by yourself (without any bots even if you really wanted). It's also been pretty fun watching the tournaments this weekend. It'll be interesting to watch and see if this becomes another popular Esport or not.
Popular Post Spartan
Platinum #62: Rocket League - VirtuosoIt was quite a pleasant surprise to get this for free at launch from PS+, although it was kind of a grind going for the 165 matches. I used the Vita and did remote play for that while I had a Fast & Furious movie marathon. RIP Paul Walker.

Popular Post Thropy_Croissant
I wanted to do something special for my 150th platinum. I was looking for something challenging but also fun. I ended up picking up catherine and I must say I got exactly what I was hoping for. I really enjoyed this game and it was....hard to say the least. Those last three babel stages almost turned me totally crazy but I finally just beaten my last one!!(Obelisk) Overall, I think this is my hardest platinum I ever did because of the tower of babel but it's also one of my favorite game and it's even in my top 3 games! I recommend it to everybody that is looking for something different but i'm warning you, this is gonna be a hard (but also very fun) road to the platinum!

Popular Post Masamune
The Perfect Storm MasterAcquired all Trophies. Well, this was a bit different than I expected, there's not really any story mode, just a type of tournament mode that consists of 4-person battles (which was just a jumbled mess). There was another mode that was basically a few short anime (with a few battles in between them) prequels of the Naruto story, nothing much (the 3rd story didn't even have any battles). It took me a little over a week to get the Platinum, not bad considering I was grinding Star Ocean titles most of the time. The hardest trophy in this was probably the "defeat 30 enemies in survival mode" one, it requires a little luck since the enemies & battle conditions are random, but I was able to get it on my second try. Overall, I am glad I waited for the price to drop to get this one (technically I got it free because of a B2G1 sale), it's not as good as the main games but it did have a good character line-up. I wasn't planing on typing that much, I'm getting too talkative in my older age.
