Popular Post heath_577
Gran Turismo 5 Gran Turismo Platinum Trophy Earn every single Gran Turismo 5 trophy. Patience and perseverance, those are the key ingredients to understanding and enjoying this game and if you don't have either those then stop right here as you maybe interested in the NFS series instead for it's arcade style feel of racing GT5 is without doubt one of the greatest, most immersive simulation racer's I have ever played, never has there been a simulation racer on a console with the same amount of painstaking detail and care given to it's physics engine. While GT5 worked perfectly fine with the Dualshock controller but if you looking for the ultimate driving experience look no further than the Logitech Driving Force GT racing wheel, using it is a thrill. It did take a couple races to get a feel for it, but when I finally got it down, my driving and my course times improved greatly. The level of control you have over you're turns is so much greater with the wheel, and that's not to mention how much better and realistic acceleration and braking feel it provides. The force feedback in the wheel brings the realism over the top. Gran Turismo 5 feels like it was made for this wheel, and the game offers full support for it and many of the other racing wheels out there. I can't recommend the Driving Force GT enough, It really takes Gran Turismo 5 to another level. Edited September 3, 2015 by heath_577
Popular Post LeetWolf2
#107 - The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief 51.26% - Common Master of The Raven You have unlocked all Trophies of "The Raven". This game is easy as long as you follow a walkthrough, when I bought it on sale it was very cheap and it doesn't take too long either. So why did it take me over 3 days? The glitches. I cannot express how frustrating these glitches are. You get stuck in walls, you get stuck in a conversation animation loop, the camera will get stuck after finishing a conversation with a character, you can get stuck in a walking animation loop when selecting an object in the environment, and the list goes on. The game also likes to autosave, so reloading a save most of the time isn't an option and to add to that, you can't pause during an active animation so glitches regarding those force you to quit via the XMB and reload the game.I was fortunate enough to not have the Crime Scene Investigator trophy glitch on me, but shortly after the glitches took their toll and I needed to stay away from the game for a while. I finished it today and I am disappointed at the outcome. I don't want to spoil the mystery for anyone who wants to play the game but I will say that the ending raises too many questions and doesn't answer enough. I'm glad I'm through that glitchfest relatively unscathed, but I'm especially glad I don't have to watch that close up animation of Mrs Miller talking ever again. Popular Post D-Tron
#70 - Resident Evil Revelations 2 (PS Vita) The Never-Ending Nightmare Well here we are, The first RE game I've ever completed. Pretty strange that it would be this one but you know: I like Vita games too much. I also jumped on in because of the We Play session for the game. Seeing as how I'm always here but not really doing anything, I thought of it as another way to try and get involved in the community. It seems I'm also the first one to cross the finish line on the journey to the plat. With that being said, Revelations 2 is a third person shooter that plays like any other third person shooter. I wouldn't know how the other RE enemies act, but I figure that some enemies act like revenants where their weak spot is only on their head... sometimes. It was a pretty annoying plat as you had to complete certain objectives then play countdown and invisible mode on them. I probably played each episode 4-5 times before I finally got everything done for an epsidoe. The game follows... welllllll it's hard to explain really. It seems like an antagonist's quest for immortality and the suffering the protagonists as they have to be her experiments for the time being. I didn't really find the story all that special. It was kind of like a B-rated horror movie, but the only horrors in this game are the enemies that lunge and gnaw your neck and invisible mode. Combine those two together and you've got a recipe for disaster. Invisible mode was absolute BS. Not sure how it is on Consoles, but the only way I could spot enemies was using Moira and Natalia's abilities. I swear, the bosses took more damage to beat on invisible mode than it did to beat them on countdown mode. Overall, decent game but a really obnoxious plat. I got #9 on the first achievers for the Vita version but that's about all the good times I had with this game. And seriously, Fuck invisible mode. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#64 - Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Quite enjoyed playing through this one for the most part. Good selection of characters with different abilities and I enjoyed the battle system more than the traditional jrpg battle style , and the implementation of killsight was a cool idea. There are a few things they could have done better though. Siege mode really wasn't a needed feature (I know you can skip them, which just confirms how pointless they are). The lip sync is terrible, which made me start skip the cutscenes half way through the game, because I found it to be extremely annoying. The last chapter lasted way too long, to the point where it seemed to just drag on for the sake of it. Enjoyment: 7 Difficutly: 3
Popular Post Undead Wolf
Platinum #77 Conception II All Trophies So Conception II is a JRPG where you preform a special "ritual" with lots of girls to create "star" children and then use them to go fight in dungeons. Sounds like fun, right!? Well, it is and it isn't. I must say, I did enjoy the gameplay outside of dungeon crawling where you interact with the 7 heroines, creating relationships and making lots of (star) children with them. It sort of reminded me of the social links in the Persona games, just with a lot more fan service. Now the thing I didn't like about the game was the battle system and of course, that's a problem in a game like this. I found the battles to just be boring. Fighting the same looking enemies over and over and using the same strategy to take them down just gets repetitive. It also doesn't help things when all the dungeons look the same as well. Towards the latter half of the game, I just had fast forward and auto play switched on, just so I didn't have to deal with the tedium anymore. The platinum wasn't too difficult apart from some stupidly rare item drops that made me want to strangle a kitten or something (I'd never do that, just for the record) You also have to view all the different events in the game but that isn't too bad if you save in the correct places. This game has plenty of waifus, so if you're into that (who isn't, right?), I'm sure you'd find some enjoyment out of this game. Just don't be expecting much in the dungeon crawling department. Oh, and maybe wait for a price drop or something.

Popular Post QuinlanLJ
#13 Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Prizes, Plunder and Adventure! Win every trophy. I LOVE this game! Simply the best Assassin's Creed game to date in my opinion. It just hit me on the right notes as I really love the Golden Age of Piracy era. So the fact that they give you the opportunity to play as a Pirate captain and travel the Caribbean seas, plunder any ship you wish, is simply amazing. The story sucked me in, the characters are great, especially the known real life pirates are interesting, as well as the main protagonist. I actually don't have a bad word to say about the SP campaign, I really enjoyed it. Now the gameplay ... well, the controls are still a bit wonky, but not too bad as they still made me feel like a badass assassin The platinum itself isn't that hard to get, it's a bit grindy, some trophies are fun and rewarding, like taking on the legendary ships, some trophies are not as fun and make the game repetitive, or should I say make the multiplayer repetitive. I don't like the multiplayer myself, so getting to level 55 wasn't that fun for me, but it wasn't THAT bad either. Probably the biggest problem is that you have to play between 14-18 hours of multiplayer for a BRONZE trophy. Well, I guess it was a way to a bigger prize, and that is the platinum. I only think they really missed the opportunity to make some cool naval battles part of the multiplayer. But no worries, I loved the game overall and if I got the game on the PS4, I'd probably go for the platinum again, And that is saying something, as I rarely have the will to replay a campaign, let alone a whole platinum. So yeah, I really recommend this to anyone that finds pirates fascinating. Too bad there are not more games about pirates. Oh, and I have to give a special mention to the sea shanties your crew sings when you travel. Soooo good and great to listen in-game. And really fun game at that! I did have some minor complaints.. *cough* Paradoxas *cough* and some issues with the AI.. but who knew you could just run under a building and they keep doing the same attack pattern over and over? All in all, I really loved this game. The customization is great, cause I love me some customization! And also the music is really neat as well. Especially the final boss song, and the Fueling Station OST. Well I hope we get a sequel sometime! Here's a pic of the plat and my character/accessory! I heard this could be finished in an hour or less that is for skilled players. It was a lot more frustrating since I panic on platformers. I like puzzle that are more like professor layton. The flying scroll part took my at least an hour till I changed to using the directional pad. Analog...sometimes nudges me a bit wide. Always wanted to play this and was waiting for a flash sale. Popular Post daniezutton
LXX via Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare (PS3) Fundead Legionnaire - Below, statements reside about my experience plat'ing Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, simply because my opinion on platinums are Ultra Rare. Additionally, this game was completed on the Xbox One. As a fan of the original tower defense game, Plants vs. Zombies, impulse induced the purchase of Garden Warfare. No intentions towards purchasing GW for the PS3 were concepted, however, plans were in motion for attaining PvZ on the PS4. Disappointment staggers as I realize the servers for PvZ: GW one day will cease to operate. Moving on... Tower Defense and Competitive Objective Multiplayer madness -- Garden Warfare is enjoyable for all ages and mental capacities! Lacking the amusing competitive multiplayer desired at the time, PvZ was the title to play. Unfortunately, GW's PS3 port experienced greater complication. Consecutive Garden Ops issues strained my patience; freezing as the host, random disconnections, and inadequate cooperative partners. Garden Ops issues aside, plat'ing GW proved feasible and satisfying. The implemented variety of customizations proved as a factor in the enjoyment, as I'm a sucker for creativity. Overall, PvZ: GW was significantly enjoyed, however, I possess no desire in plat'ing GW on the PS4; one time suffices. Popular Post LeetWolf2
#108 - Teslagrad 37.07% - Uncommon Full Completion Find all 36 scrolls in the game. A lot of people are playing and completing this game because of it being part of PS Plus this month and that its fast and relatively easy, so no surprises here. I will say though I went into this game expecting to really enjoy it and didn't. The art style and puzzles are great, and its very Metroidvania-esque, aside from the game guiding you to climb upwards, you can go any direction you want (as long as you have the appropriate upgrades). Which is really fun except that you have to do most of the puzzles again if you want/need to backtrack to a specific part of the map. Which is another thing, the map is really tough to navigate because the only indication you get as to where you are is the area blinking really subtly and it only shows you the surrounding areas of where you are instead of the whole map.The Bosses are a complete joke, they're the typical "do this one thing three times" strategy, and the only thing that makes it difficult is the one hit deaths. And don't get me started on the Protective Father scroll, it's absolutely ridiculous, and you can't practice the path because if you make it to the top of the tunnel, the game will save a checkpoint at the top which means you have to traverse the path down and backwards in order to get to the beginning again. This is incredibly frustrating and I actually managed to beat the scroll to the top a few times but failed to make the landing because I'd fall down the hole where the scroll is meant to come from, and hit the electricity protecting it. It's the only difficult part of the game, and only due to poor design. Using the D-Pad over the Analog sticks is pretty much mandatory during that part. Like I said at the start, I went into this hoping to enjoy it but ended up frustrated and disappointed. I hope a sequel is made and improves on all of the repetition, glitches, inconsistent checkpoints and so on, because underneath it all are great mechanics, upgrades and puzzles with a beautiful art style and lore. Also, one last note; Why does the boy never emote? Like seriously, a lot of crap happens to him (without wanting to spoil anything), he faces bosses, unlocks all these abilities, traverses obstacles and solves puzzles and hes got this blank expression this whole time. He shows more emotion in the platinum trophy than he does in-game: Edited September 5, 2015 by LeetWolf2
