Popular Post AJC3317
Tearaway Unfolded - Perfectionist i don't have a vita, and tearaway is one of the few games on the system that i've wanted to play so i knew from when i first heard about this game i'd be getting it right away. it's a fantastically charming game, which makes use of the dualshock in creative ways i wish more devs would experiment with. i used the dualshock in more different ways in this one game than in all the other ps4 games i've played combined. it's not a perfect game as it does have it's frustrations, mostly do to camera annoyances, occasional control issues, and my own personal retardation, but these issues are pretty easy to look past due to the game's charm. some of the collectibles however are BRUTAL. don't expect an easy platinum if you pick this up and want to find everything on your own
voodoo_eyes
Congrats with the Platinum! I do completely agree with your comments for the game with the story (Really disappointing for a direct sequel to Legend), the puzzles, the wonky camera and the dreadful Southern Mexico mission was an awful experience for me... I don't know fully what you mean by the previous games were terrible in those regards because personally I think 'Legend' was the best Tomb Raider game to date, the music, gameplay, story and the puzzles were really well done, it's a fantastic game, defiantly one of the best games that I have played. Cheers! I meant primarily in regards to the camera control and positioning, the older games were just as bad as this one. As I recall it, Tomb Raider games always had the issue with the camera being dodgy. My memory might fail me on that regard, as I last played the old games back when they were released in the late 90s on PC, but I'm fairly certain that my impressions are correct. I have to admit I prefer the newest version of the game, simply because it feels smoother. Other than that TR 2 was the one I enjoyed the most. Popular Post EpicNogg4
Driver San Francisco #11 - 3.61% - Ultra Rare Driver San Francisco is an open world car game, you are detective John Tanner who is trying to figure out his powers of being able to switch drivers and him towards his detective work. The platnuim for this game wasn't too hard considering its rarity, the biggest pain would have been the online trophies. These are why DSF is this rare, if you have a good set of boosters to knock these trophies out with it will make your life a whole lot easier. The story was quite interesting and was a real change from the usual racing games such as need for speed and gran turismo. I suggest picking this game up if you find it lying around at a cheap price.Game Rating 7/10 Platnuim Difficulty 6.5/10 Edited September 14, 2015 by EpicNogg4

Popular Post TriggerTortoise
Mad Max Halls of Valhalla Earn all Trophies Ugh, ugh, ugh, if it weren't for the Stick It To Ya challenge holding up the last trophy, I would've had this platinum a couple days ago or so...the challenge wasn't difficult, it just required patience and luck. Overall, I didn't expect Mad Max to be bad since it was Avalanche Studios, and while it wasn't going to set the world on fire, it was still pretty good; looked great, played great, day/night cycle needs some work, encountered some superficial bugs. Unfortunately, it of course had to go up against The Phantom Pain, but at least Avalanche have still got Just Cause 3 coming.

Popular Post captainskyhawk
Platinum Number 56 Mad Max I actually really enjoyed this game. It's not often I pre-order a game but I was really looking forward to this one. Unfortunately I had a week off work so I got through it a lot quicker than I thought I would. I was hoping it would last until The Uncharted Collection arrived but I guess I will have to break out Driveclub again and get some more DLC done. Had a few panicky moments playing, mainly because of the challenges and not wanting to miss any. Looking back now it seems as though none of them are actually missable, they just get a bit tougher as you clear the map, but all can be gotten even after finishing the story and clearing all the map. I also spent a lot of time completing challenges which it now seems as though didn't need doing at all. Quick tip, challenges which say underneath 'complete (0) times' don't count towards your goal. I would definitely recommend this game. Had a great time, a few laughs, some good fights, never got bored. Overall a fun easy platinum.

While I think that Legend is a good game, the gameplay wasn't good at all. The best part about Legend is the music, the story and the puzzles were all right, the VO was meh and as I said, the gameplay was actually really awful. But what do I know, maybe it's amazing compared to Underworld, haven't played that one yet. The Legend experience, while it was fun, is putting me off, because of the gameplay, and the fact that people are saying Underworld is even worse ... Trophies were not too bad but some of the badges can be a bit difficult. I would had liked to have seen more tracks and cars. I have now finally gotten both Shift and Shift 2 at 100%. If you like racing games, then it's worth checking out. Edited September 14, 2015 by J2V_89
Popular Post Gregorymany
#122 Dragon Age: Origins The Ultimate Reward When i bought this game, i thought it was an average western RPG, but after i started playing, i got really impressed with it. This is a RPG that you either love or hate, because is not the usual type. Already at the beginning you have to chosse the race, the class and the origin of your character, and that afects how the people reacts with you in the entire game; and you can make the appearance of your character to look almost exactly like you, (like i did), to get more immersed in the world of the game. In this game you are not a mere pawn, just going in the flow of the game, you decide everything your character say, and develop his personality; and almost every decision you make changes the outcome of the quests or the sidequests, you can let people die, based on your actions, or sometimes you can even attack and kill them. You can develop a relationship with every companion that you have, and have a romance with them too. The voice acting is very impressive, and make you fell the unique personality of every character. There are a lot of well develop aspects in this game, but it will not impress everyone, because almost al of these aspects are story-related and based on character development, so if you are a player that skip the cutscenes in a game, or skip the dialogues in a game and don´t care about the story of the game, you have to stay far away from this game. The graphics and the visual effects are poor, and the combat have a lot of options, but none of them works that well; however if you enjoy a good story you will spend around 100 hours to platinum it, and will not get bored in the way. (most of the RPGs requires you to keeping killing weak monsters over and over again to get stronger and defeat a boss, or a secret boss; in this game all enemies you encounter will level up to match you, and they are limited, so only your strategy matters to defeat the enemies).

Popular Post URBAN_VVaRf4R3
34: THE LAST OF US REMASTERED It can't be for nothing Platinum Trophy Trophy Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Wow a game that i though i would never plat until now! The trophy for this game at first may seem hard but they're actually not too hard, my only complaint is the two multiplayer trophies that involves lots and lots of grinding as you hafta complete your journey as a HUNTER an a FIREFLY. The way it works is that you either choose to be a HUNTER or FIREFLY and each fraction has to survive for 12 week each match you play you will be considered as 1day so you hafta play 7 games total to advance to the next week. You also have a populatioin that you hafta keep track of as well. When every you play a match for each player you kill you get supplies to improve you population but if you happen to quit or not meet the required number of supplies you need you'll either have ppl get SICK, HUNGRY or worse case scenario DIE so make sure you keep tabs on this or else you'll hafta start all over if your whole population dies. There's also events that will effect your population and you hafta to choose a task and complete it, the main ones you wanna pay attention to are the ones that threaten 100% of your population if you don't complete the task you accepted. Once you reach week 12 you hafta restart at week 1 with the next fraction depending upon who you picked the first go around. even tho the multiplayer trophies are a pain in the ass i highly recommend this game to anyone who hasn't play it yet! Popular Post Xillia
#22 Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World True Dawn of a New World You have obtained all trophies. This truly is the dawn of a new world! I'm so proud of this one, it's my first ultra rare platinum and a Tales game to top it off! While DotNW is probably the weakest of the PS3 titles, I've actually grown to like it once I got used to the battle system. I really liked Emil and Marta and I thought that the story was actually all right, it doesn't deserve all the salt it got. The real problem is that Emil and Marta are the only playable characters, so I had to play the game on my own, rather than couch co-op with two other friends like we usually do. It's so stupid that the devs decided that everyone from the old Symphonia crew had some sort of excuse to only help E&M for a little bit. And when they did join, they came underleveled and didn't even gain experience! boo... Trophy-wise it felt like DotNW was playing hard-to-get the entire time. I hit 80ish hours and ended my SECOND playthrough, when I had finally got the first silver trophy. Everything up til then were random bronzes for doing stuff for the first time in the first chapter and some story-related bronzes that would pop every 10 hours. It was really discouraging to see the percentage stuck at 20-30, when I was already doing the third playthrough. All the other silver and golden trophies were somehow related and were like the unlock conditions of each other. Pretty much all of them wouldn't pop until I'd done literally EVERYTHING in the game. I have to call over my buds this weekend to finish off Graces f... again. Edited September 14, 2015 by Xhillia
Popular Post Masamune
The Walking DeadEarn all trophies in: "The Walking Dead" That was definitely one of the most easy Platinums I ever did, it was nice being able to play through a game without having to check some kind of guide every 10 minutes. The game was pretty good too (but that ending... *sniff sniff*), one thing I'm curious about though: why does season 1 have a Platinum but not season 2? Popular Post AbyssRex
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Thou Art I Also got the 100% This was a very good game and a great improvement from the previous arena game (gotta muster up the courage to try and finish that one) If just going for the platinum you only need to do 1 character combo challange which is great (3 if wanting the 100% from the DLC) and also score attack is the easiest I ever seen in my life. All I did was pick Elizabeth and mash triangle. It's impossible to lose on the easiest 5 score attack courses that way Online took a nice bit of time and grinding with a boosting partner but nothing was really complicated Golden Arena which is a great addition also takes a lot of time. It's by far the longest part of this game and although it's easy can still be tricky and skill is required. For the last fight it's almost luck based where it's highly recommended you get the "Die for me" skill and you get lucky and auto kill the boss. This method is a must if you're just looking forward to getting it over with All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and looking forward to the next Arena game mid January

Dragon's Crown plot revolves around a legendary relic, the titular Dragon's Crown, and the quest to retrieve it. Players must take up the role of one of six adventurers charged with retrieving the crown before those who would use it for their own sinister purpose, as well as search for treasure and riches of their own. Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#53 Platinum Mithrarin Awakening Platinum on 11th September 2015 (1 month, 1 week, 3 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** Decent 2D side-scrolling action role-playing game mix with "Hack & Slash" plus platform jumping. It had a simple storyline and the controls is easy to pick up but as some gamer's point out before when controlling the main character's moving it feel like it was wearing a skates and voice acting is surprisingly good too compare to some AAA games. The challenges in the game at first I thought I'm not gonna get it as time attack is my biggest nemesis but the challenges had some kind magic power that always suck me into replay the challenge. Once fail I'll try do better next time until I get past that challenge arena in the end I manage to pull off all challenges throw at me. If want me to pick a bad thing about this game then why is animals instead of human for characters??? All NPC look so peaceful even the enemies and the final boss don't have the evil look or smile. Oook...some normal enemies at least look like badass but not all. Don't you think it's funny when some animals hoping and running around the background while the main characters and NPC doing the talking and walking on both two legs!? Anyway I still very much enjoy the story and the gameplay. Once again have to THANKS Playstation Plus for this fantastic Free game. Popular Post SunsetHysteria
Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls Pragmatism's Last RewardEarned every other trophy in the game. You guys know I have to talk about this one, don't you? Another brilliant game from a beloved franchise. Spike Chunsoft never seizes to amaze me with it's narrativeand twisted story-telling.I heard of Danganronpa Another Episode's localization and quickly realized it was a spin-off from previous titles. As you can imagine I was a bit skeptical as to what to expect. The introduction of the third-person shooter component was both refreshing and discouraging, seeing as Danganronpa 1&2 were mainly text-based. Despite this fact, I thoroughly enjoyed the unique advantages it had on the game. It definitely doesn't take away from it's charming disposition. That being said I really appreciate experiencing the world in all it's chaos first hand, rather than being behind the walls of Hope's Peak Academy. One of the most noteworthy aspects from this game was the relationship between Komaru and Toko. Because this game focuses on two characters instead of several, you really have a chance to see their character development blossom as a pair. I even found myself falling more and more in love with the duo because of their diversity in character, but determination to work together so willingly against their differences. It's definitely one of my more favored details from this game. The animated cut scenes were also nice, I wish they had all been that way. By far one of my favorite Vita games to this day; not that I've played many. I'm thinking of getting into other series restricted to the Vita. : Edited September 15, 2015 by Junko

markcavan
#54 - LEGO The Hobbit - PS4 By far the longest Lego game I've played for a long time (if ever). The game is split up into three main sections, 1) story mode, 2) free play of the story mode levels and 3) quests based missions in middle earth. The first two sections are enjoyable for any lego game lover and I really enjoyed playing them. However, the quests I found a real long grind. In total there is 250 Mithril Bricks, 90 of these are found in story and free play so 160 mini quests need to be completed if your going for platinum. These are scattered all over middle earth and I was rather frustrated by the end of it all going from one place to another finishing these quests. By the time I had completed I had over 40 hours total game time completed. Difficulty I'd give it a 2/10 as there is nothing hard in the game other than staying with the grind to get it completed. Enjoyment, 6/10.
