Popular Post Priere
#51 Remember Me "Remember you soon" Yeah, this happened. I loved the game, it was a nice change of grindy RPG games and stuff like that while also serving as a great game itself. Basically, you take the control of an "elite" Memory Hunter called Nillin Car-something-or-the-other. The first thought that came to me is "is that you....Lara Croft?" Anyways, Nillin is guided by this mysterious "Bro" who freed her from something in-game related on a quest to defeat the.....bad guys, i guess. There's lots of Plot holes, that's for sure. Oh and some funny jokes here and there Anyways, to make things short, here's my opinion: Story: 8/10, "Someone" (or maybe something) was not explained at all. Other than that, excellent quality. Gameplay: Actually, it's fun. Yeah, just throw some colorful shapes while doing fighting combos and you have me sold for your game...Don't look at me, my concentrating/attention/ you-name-it span is 10 seconds . The "finishing blows" or what the game calls Overloads are a nice touch, but they lack the variety, that doesn't mean that they aren't good though. Anyways, 7/10 Characters: 5/10, no one except the three (or is it four? hmhmhm) main characters have their background explained, and not really much. Trophies difficulty/enjoyment: They weren't hard, but backtrack to the Gameplay opinion of mine and you will notice how i said my concentrating span is 10 seconds. And there's a shit load of collectables....it's a mystery why it took me this long other than that, i'd give the difficulty a 3/10 and an enjoyment of 8/10. Well then, i'll be back to my daily School Life of Despair, Upupupupu.... Edited October 24, 2015 by YaoiGod
Popular Post ExHaseo
#95 - Final Fantasy X HD Final Fantasy X is probably my favorite FF game (X-2 and XIV come dangerously close though). Not because the story is good, not because the characters are great, but because I absolutely love the flow of the game, and the sphere grid. The sphere grid is the greatest thing of all time, and it's always been incredibly bizarre to me that Square never used it again, and no one ever ripped it off. The ability to make any character in any way you want was always really awesome to me. You want the "healer" to be a physical powerhouse? You can! You want the "thief" to be a healer? You can! You want the "powerhouse" to be a black mage? You can! It's fucking awesome, and it's the primary reason I love this game so much. I also like the character designs and the overall world aesthetics, but it's mainly the sphere grid. Unfortunately, there's a lot to hate about this game. For one, fucking blitzball. They sat around in a room and decided that it would be fun to make a minigame where you do almost nothing, even though they could've made it really awesome if they wanted to. I mean, you can't even control your characters, and you can only control one when you have the ball. Even then, you can opt to not even control them. It's incredibly stupid, and I've never understood why people think so highly of it. Then of course there's the story. It's a fairly stereotypical save the world through the power of friendship quest. Which would be fine, if the characters had more depth, but they don't. What you see is what you get for all of the characters. There's little to no character progression for any of the characters throughout the game. The most character progression is probably from Wakka, because he stops being a racist dick. Otherwise, everyone is the same at the end as they were when you first meet them, and they all fit a fairly stereotypical role. Tidus is the whiny protagonist (which was a fairly popular thing at the time in Japan, thanks to Evangelion), Yuna is the shy girl who needs to be saved, Lulu is the bitch, Wakka is the dumb comic relief, Auron is the older mentor, Kimahri is the strong silent guy, and Rikku is the overly optimistic cheerleader. There you have it. That's what the characters are like the entire game, hope you like them. (Although I admit I like Rikku and her peppiness). Anyway, the plat wasn't really that bad, except for just a couple of parts. Having to beat Dark Yojimbo 5 times in a row and fucking Blitzball. All the other extra bosses you could just use Yojimbo and pay him until he uses Zanmato, but you couldn't do that for Dark Yojimbo, because you had to fight him 5 times in a row without reloading. So, in order to do that, you get to grind out Luck Spheres and Fortune Spheres in the monster arena. Which was tons of fun. Then you get to fight him, and he's an enormous dick who can kill your whole party with one normal attack. Even if you have max defense. And the real kicker, is that he always ambushes you the first time, so if he decides to use Wakizashi, you're fucked. Unless you want to go and get Break HP limit gear for your main party, then grind out HP Spheres to increase your HP enough to withstand the attack. Which feels incredibly pointless to do for a single Dark Aeon when you are able to one shot every other boss with Zanmato. It was frustrating, to say the least, to grind out Luck for days just to get wrecked in one hit, and have to reload over and over until the game decided to not use Wakizashi as the opening move. Then of course there's Blitzball. You know, it would've been fine if they just wanted you to win a single game, like in X-2. That would've been understandable. They want you to try out their shitty minigame and see if you like it, but no. They decided to be dicks about it, and make you play at least 2 tournaments, and an entire League season, in order to get Wakka's Reels. Which can be incredibly difficult if you have no idea what you're doing, like me, because I've always hated Blitzball. Honestly, it wasn't so bad once I recruited some good players, but it was still stupid that I just had to sit there and watch the game play itself, and hope it decided to let me win. Recruiting the players was stupid too though, because it doesn't display their stats before you sign them, just their level. So unless you're using a guide, you have no idea if the person you're trying to recruit is good or not. It was stupid. Overall, I still like the game, but the last couple of trophies were a special kind of hell for me. It really surprises how how many people have gotten this plat, since it took me more effort, and was more frustrating, than some of my UR plats.
Popular Post Omar
#73 - God of War II HD (PS Vita) Trophy of Gaia - Unlock all God of War II trophies .Achieved: October 24th, 2015 .PSNP's RS: Uncommon .Difficulty: 4 .Enjoyment: 8 And I'm back to the franchise whose protagonist screams instead of talking and still manages to sound badass!! The GoW HD Collection was literally my first Vita title (bundled with the console) and while I dealt with the first installment long time ago, this one was still left to play so it was about time! The excitement for me was extra this time because I had never played GoW2 on PS2 or PS3 before. The puzzles were still satisfying, the combat felt great and the mechanics are as usual properly implemented. There is some epicness to these games that really makes you feel like a damn god during the climactic moments. The story is a bit non-existent excluding the overarching plot (things come out of nowhere for no reason, etc...) but the story was good enough to keep me hooked. Trophies were a bit lacking in ambition, I'd say, but the Challenge of the Titans makes the whole list at least a bit challenging (still doable within a reasonable amount of attempts if you know what you are doing). After enjoying this one, I really need to play GoW3 before GoW4 drops (I still have quite a while lol) My completion is back above 88%, so close to 90!! also, this is my sixth platinum trophy this month so I feel stoked!! Persash
Since I am out of likes I want to say - congratulations on this ultra rare plat from a really great game! I liked it very much, but when I saw that I need to play campaign 5 times for platinum, that was kinda buzz killer...Please tell me how many hours did you put into this and did you did it straight, one after another, or you made breaks in playing this, ad then come back? Cheers mate! Thanks, dude. I started playing the game the last year. But I couldnt finish the story and i gave up . A few days ago I played the game again and finish the story in Impossible difficulty. After that I played the game two more times in easy and then I start and finish in Ironman mode. Then just finish the game one more time in easy. It take me like 80 or 100 hours to get the plat but the game worth it. Good luck if u want to give it a try
Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
Platinum #25 Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Let me start off by saying that I freaking love this game! I did a one-playthrough attempt and surprisingly succeeded (I was really sweating it towards the end)! I was so happy to see that platinum pop that I jumped up and down in my apartment. Definitely one of my proudest platinums. I am officially a fan of Kojima and even though some of the cutscenes are ridiculously long, it felt like I was playing some over-the-top, epic action movie. Well played, Kojima. Well played.
Popular Post slash
Plat #48: Platinum - Earn all Uncharted: Drake's Fortune™ Remastered Trophies such creativity in the title it was great going back to uncharted and the polish with the better graphics and higher frame rate were very welcome. even with the nice face lift, uncharted didn't age very well in my opinion. the cover based shooting is very standard and the amount of enemies the game just throws at you is flat out insane, especially at higher difficulties (screw you brutal....). the game certainly makes up for it though with sensational voice acting, a great action adventure story, and fantastic presentation. it's a series i love so much so it was still fun going back down memory lane. if you haven't played the uncharted series and have a ps4, what are you waiting for? join Nathan Drake's adventure asap!

Popular Post Xel
#79 Steins;Gate Sky Clad Observer Unlocked all trophies. Without exaggeration, this is the greatest VN game of all time. On top of that, you would be very hard-pressed to find an anime that compares in all-around quality and greatness as the anime adaptation of this game. It has a very deep and intellectual storyline that's not hard to follow and most of all it's got a fully fledged cast of voice actors, Japanese of course, but why would you want this dubbed? It's got the English text, so it's nice to have the original game maintained in terms of the voice. No technical problems and the story is, again, fantastic. The menus are very simple and use friendly, as is the game interface overall. I haven't had any problems or glitches thus far and I doubt anyone may. Not much else to say. As far as the story is concerned, it's complicated. It's not to the point where the everyday person would be sitting back and scratching their head, but it's where it will make you feel smart for understanding it. Every twist and turn draws you in and makes you want more. I got around 40 hours out of this, with people getting closer to 50. With the mix of sci-fi elements, drama, and modern pop-culture thrown in too, this storyline is as close to perfect as we can get. The visuals themselves are fairly impressive. The artists could not have outdone themselves more. Combined with the story and music, this could possibly move people to tears. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a superb visual novel. Still remember that awesome feeling. One of the best games I've ever played. I just hope there would have been the multiplayer on it. But the singleplayer was enough for me. Brutal was easier for me on this game. Still couple bs spawns like on the chapter 13 or 14 when you spawn on top of the train and get shot in under half a second. Speedrun was easy. You finished Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax.Thank you for playing! Oooooooook... This will probably the last fighting game I'll be playing on the Vita. But I'm not saying this game is horrible. It's just that the Vita has no L2 and R2, the directional button is a little small and I'm a little scared that I may broke the analog stick like what happened to my PSP. I'll just stick to the controller when I'm playing a fighting game. Special thanks to Mike13858 for helping me with the "Throw Escape X 50" trophy. Platinum #218 Uncharted 2 Remastered Platinum It feels so good to be able to plat THE BEST Uncharted game to date, for a second time. Reliving so many classic moments that I remembered and forgot from all those years ago was a trip for sure. How people can rank this game below Uncharted 3 will always be a mystery to me. Sure it has some similar plot elements to Drakes Fortune but so does Drakes Deception. Trophy wise its almost identical to the other remastered games and this plat has been posted so many times you already get the idea. I just wanted to voice that this is easily the 2nd best game on PS3 only behind The Last of Us. I have high hopes for UC4 because UC3 left so much to be desired. Im thankful for what Amy Henig created, but Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann clearly had an influence on this game that was sorely lacking in UC3. Cant wait to see what they do with UC4. Greg Miller and Colin Moriarty, you're so wrong and have been for years. This game eats Uncharted 3's lunch. Popular Post Flop
We Had Fun, Didn't We? Complete Tales from the Borderlands #57I just came back home from the Metroplex 2 days ago, and I miss being such a trophy whore. But it's as if I forgot how to play well while I was away from home, so while I tried to gitgud again, I decided why not to play and plat an easy game? So I chose a Telltale game. Surprisingly, Tales from the Borderlands is my favorite Telltale game... and I fucking dislike the Borderlands games... wow, nice one, Telltale, for making me like Borderlands. Well, the way you approached Borderlands, that is, lol I first liked The Walking Dead Season 1 as my favorite Telltale game, then later on I liked The Wolf Among Us as my favorite Telltale game, and now I like Tales from the Borderlands as my favorite Telltale game?! WHAT? HOW? I think I may had under appreciated Telltale Games just a tad bit... Anyways, this game was great. I loved the humor, and how the game never held back. I really like how Telltale interact with universes like Borderlands, The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, etc. No wonder I REALLY LIKED a Borderlands game by Telltale games.Enjoyment: 10/10Difficulty: 1/10 Edited October 25, 2015 by Ethan Ruhkillmeez

Popular Post UK-Danny-93
#46 We Had Fun, Didn't We? Complete Tales From The Borderlands Telltale's best game so far, just edging out TWAU in my opinion (played everything from The Walking Dead onwards). Episode 5 was a really strong end to the story. I hope Game of Thrones finishes as strongly because it's been a bit disappointing so far. My only complaint with TFTB was with the performance on PS3, frequent stutters and freezes but it doesn't take away from the how brilliant the story is. #47 I'm the boss Unlock all of the Trophies in Of Orcs and Men I had fun with this one. It was interesting to play a fantasy rpg from the perspective of the Greeskins for a change. There's a decent mix of stealth and combat gameplay and Styx and Arkail are a good foil for each other. The game is pretty unbalanced on the hardest difficulty which leads to some frustrating fights but it's pretty doable. Popular Post ExHaseo
#96 - Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 With this, I've gotten all of the Naruto UNS plats, and I can safely say, that this one was the worst of the numbered series. With Revolution being the only one worse overall. Most of the game just felt a bit tedious to me, and there was a lot of weird little issues that bothered me. Like that it takes FOREVER to loot things, especially pots. Having to sit there through the long animation all the time really got on my nerves. Luckily, they did fix that problem in later games. There was just small stuff like that that bothered me that weren't really that big of a deal, but took away from the overall experience. The main issue I had with the game, was that it made you do a bunch of tedious nonsense for the titles. Of course the online was annoying (but it really wasn't any worse than any other fighting game), but I'm talking more about having to use a character 30 times, and that it made you watch all of the story cutscenes over again for some reason, and that it made you replay every story battle, and that it made you watch all of the ultimate jutsu videos, and that it made you get luck based drops, and that it made you play in adventure mode for 30 hours even though there's nowhere near enough content to keep you busy for that long. It was just a bunch of unnecessary nonsense that just made the game feel horribly boring and made it feel like it was really dragging. Maybe it's just because I had already played 4 other games that had the same gameplay and characters, so I was tired of it from the start, but either way, I simply didn't enjoy this game as much as I did the others. Especially 3. I really enjoyed 3, even though the S ranks were much harder to get. Anyway, I'm not saying it's a terrible game or anything, but compared to newer games in the series, it's definitely dated, and the plat was pretty annoying. I'm happy to be able to say I have all of the Naruto plats though. I just wish there was one for the original game too, because I remember absolutely loving it, and would like an excuse to be able to 100% it again.
