Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#49 - STAR WARS Battlefront "Platinum Trophy" Collect all other STAR WARSTM BattlefrontTM Trophies (nice trademarks EA...) Well, well, well... where to start? I love Star Wars - I have since I was a kid, and I'm 20 now - so I was excited for this game since it was announced. I played quite a bit of Battlefront 2 back in the day, so I know what I expect from a Star Wars game. Long story short, this game was incredible at first, and fun for a bit, but quickly lost its lustre. After reading the reviews for the game (NOT just looking at the number, but actually genuinely reading what people had to say about the game), I was unsure whether I would buy it or not. Everyone said it was fun but quickly got repetitive and didn't last long. Regardless, I eventually I gave in to peer pressure and picked it up. My first 15-20 hours with the game were magical. The art direction is stunning (so beautiful), the music is on-point, sound effects are top-notch, and gameplay - while simple - is still satisfying and effective. I remember my first 'Walker Assault' match; I was so blown away by how well it captured the spirit of Star Wars and the ethos of a big team battle. Thanks to the variety in trophies, I found myself trying all the game modes, and settled on Drop Zone and Fighter Squadron as my favourites. I love objective-based modes, and jet-packing in with a shield and smoke bomb in Drop Zone really scratched that itch for me. When DL-44 was OP, I found myself regularly getting 40-50+ kill games; not necessarily because of my skill (though I'm no slouch), but because of how broken the gun was. The game is much healthier gun-wise now, with rifles, other pistols, and even heavy blasters all having a place for usage. Similarly, the star cards are all varied and fun to use (most of them, anyway), and I had a blast in the first 25 or so levels of my level 50 journey trying new stuff. It's a bit of a shame that the Jet Pack feels so necessary though; just like Blink pre-nerf in Destiny, but otherwise I'm happy with the variety of powers. Customisation was also simple yet effective, with a good selection of genders and face (and beard!) types for both Imperials and Rebels. It's a shame that the 'unique' ones were locked until the later levels though, as most people will have stopped playing by that point. So yeah, this game definitely has a lot going for it. However, I can definitely feel the lack of content in the game. With only a handful of maps for each game mode, a small selection of guns and 'useful' star cards, and lack of any real 'skill learning curve', I found myself burnt out after about the 25 hour mark. The grind to level 50 was painful; I still had some awesome 50-1 games in there that were a blast and felt awesome, but if it wasn't for the 2x XP this past weekend, I probably would have given up. Compared with a game like CoD, Battlefield, or even Destiny, I feel like I had mastered the game and all it had to offer after a very short period of time. When you're still learning new strategies in Destiny or improving your jet-pilot skills in Battlefield, it's a much more satisfying experience as a player, and keeps you coming back. The upgrades and unlocks in Battlefront are satisfying up to a point, but then drop off and you're left with nothing to stand on. Couple this with broken spawn points in some games, the ability to get absolutely destroyed in Walker Assault (I once had a game where I died literally 13 times in a row on Hoth because the enemy team was pushing so far into our spawn that I didn't even have a chance to move), and super-simple controls, and you've got a game that doesn't last very long in my eyes. Single-player was a joke; I don't really want to even talk about it. Getting the trophies wasn't too bad with a friend who put themselves through the torture with me, but I didn't enjoy it at all, and it felt so lazy and barebones that I don't really even know why they included it. The tutorial missions were pretty fun though! Overall, I'm still happy that I played Battlefront. It was an absolute blast for the first 25 hours, and it was more than worth the money to me because of all the Star Wars nostalgia anyway. It's just a shame that because of some strange design decisions, it won't last very long. There is absolutely no way I'll be dropping $80 AUD for a season pass. 40 hours later, I got the platinum, but it's not as satisfying as I expected it to be. If you want to see what all the fuss is about, wait until it's a bit cheaper, and pick it up from the bargain bin. You'll have fun, just don't expect it to be your next 1000hr Battlefield or Destiny. Enjoyment rating: 7/10 (10/10 early on, 4/10 later, found the average!) Plat difficulty: 5/10 (single player can be frustrating if you don't have anyone to play with, and the AT-ST and Walker takedown ones can be annoying because of the necessity of camping and frustrating of getting blown up. Definitely achievable though) Edited February 15, 2016 by FluffyAssassin64
Popular Post Redgrave
#64: Kind of Medici - Just Cause 3 The over all experience I had with this can be best described as bipolar. It was fun blowing up bases and stuff, but the challenges had a constant dread because of how bad the mechanics are. It's very obvious the game isn't meant for driving, but they put in racing challenges anyway, and any exaggerations people make about them are most likely true. To sum them up, don't go too fast, don't go too slow, but don't hit anything and I mean anything either or you will go flying. The hit detection with the skydiving ones were also bizarre, since sometimes I would get close to the ground and it never hits, but then I barely brush on the top of a tree and lose. Even attacking bases was fun only to a certain extent. Since usually when you hijacked a vehicle it would get blown up almost as soon as you took it, so there was no real point in stealing a tank or helicopter. But for the positives, watching gunfights between NPC's was fun, and overall heavy firefights were fun since they had an 80's action feel to them. Flying around in the wingsuit was also nice just for the scenery. Outside of those things I really wish there were other nice things to say about it. Needless to say, I won't be playing any future sequels until I know for certain the mechanics are greatly improved, and probably won't even bother with the expansion coming out.
Popular Post Brawler
Platinum #42: Fully Extended Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Wasn't too far off from the other Blazblue games I've done. I feel like this isn't a huge upgrade from Chronophantasma but it's still an enjoyable game nonetheless. It's hardly a freebie, but it's easier than Continuum Shift.
Popular Post Jacob_Neal01
#8 Dokuro I bought it because it was £2.50, expecting it to be a nice little game that wouldn't take long to complete. I was wrong... Without the guide, this presented a challenge. A fairly big one. I'm proud of it though, and will be putting it in the Trophy Cabinet!
Popular Post Sawyer-Ford34
#33: Need for Speed Easy one although I was pissed off with the drifiting mechanics. Also I was very also disappointed with the game's storyline... Otherwise game is pretty decent but not unforgettable that's for sure!
Popular Post AJ_Radio
PLATINUM # 13 God of War III Remastered Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement/Enjoyment: 7-8/10 Another platinum from a God of War game finished. In my humble opinion, this remastered edition is more appropriate as a port to the PS4 rather than an actual remaster. Apart from the improved frames-per-second and the ever so slightly better background visuals, if it wasn't for the REMASTERED label I would of thought I was still playing the original PS3 game. Still good to play, but a bad remaster. That being said, this game is still the bloodiest, goriest and downright savage game I've ever played and beaten. Kratos is little more than a monster at this point at he crushes Poseidons eyes and breaks his neck (all the while blood gushing out of his head), cuts apart Hermes legs while he is completely defenseless and begging for mercy, stomps Helios head and savagely rips his head off his neck, cuts open Cronos belly and yanks out random cyclops eyes. Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Old Blood were both gory and bloody, but the protagonist (BJ) had a deep heart, and the supporting cast helped him all the way. Kratos on the other hand has nothing to lose as Olympus and everything in-between is destroyed, turning the mythical world of Greece into a world of hell and chaos. In the end, Kratos ends himself, a proper way to end the God of War series and permanently end the hauntings of his past. Unfortunately us God of War fans can safely say the series is pretty much done and over. A spiritual sequel, maybe an IP similar to God of War could be in development, but we have yet to see anything come out of Santa Monica Studios, a game tailored for the PS4, rather than a remaster of a last-gen game. On a lighter note, the graphics still hold well. God of War III was a work of art, and Kratos still looks wonderfully detailed. It was a treat watching the videos of how Santa Monica Studios came to develop the characters, artwork and story. From a gameplay perspective I enjoyed the hack-and-slash style, and how the weapons were more varied than in previous titles. Not much else to say here seeing as most of us on PSNProfiles have played and beaten at least one God of War game. It's probably the easiest Playstation Exclusive franchise to platinum, unless inFamous, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper can prove me wrong. This game wasn't worth the money I paid for to play it for the PS4 seeing as I also beat it on the PS3, but it was an easy enough platinum and a cinch. I guess inFamous: Second Son will be my next platinum, followed by Until Dawn, both PS4 exclusives. Edited February 15, 2016 by Ian Lee

Popular Post FrenchDevil54
Astebreed 極み (KIWAMI)全てのトロフィーを取得した (Get all trophies) A good shoot'em up, a bit short though. Getting trophies can get very intense and exciting (frustrating at times) in the harder difficulties, but that's what it takes to get that ultra rare plat!
pl0000pl
#50 darkness 2 I enjoyed this game a lot with it's slight horror feeling to it as it's so dark and twisted along with brutal. The kills you do in this game are so awesome to watch every time even if it gets a little borning seeing the same thing over and over again I enjoyed seeing it with all the blood. The game isn't that hard to do for the 100% just two playthoughs then the co-op hitlist to do (if you do it co-op that is) it can be done solo on any difficulty it really don't matter. Difficulty to plat: 3/10 the don difficulty can be done on the new game+ mode witch let's you keep your powers and upgrades and stats to the tropthys you may of missed on the first playthough.
Popular Post NetEntity
# 25: Brutal Legend – Rock God Didn't really think I'll be able to go that far. Thousands of Fire Tributes flare in the sky above Bladehenge - the Gods of Metal are sure pleased with me now. Sudden decision led to sudden purchase, and soon I was ensnared by this game, by this world all over again, able to reclaim my life back only when the coveted 100% completion was reached... I really don't want to leave, but alas. All I can do now is keep my pale clawed fingers crossed for the sequel. Special shout-outs to Ursol_Ballic83 for helping me with MP and team kill trophies and Texonidas, for serving as a contact between us. You two rock. May your path to Metal God be lit bright by the flames of the Ormagoden, the Fire Beast.

I'm not very much into time travel and alternative reality stuff though. I enjoyed the first episode the most because I think it was at it's best as just normal high school drama lol. Popular Post backslash240
We Had Fun, Didn't We? Complete Tales From The Borderlands Tales From The Borderlands, yay! Well after giving up Destiny i decided to get some steam back doing a small fast game. And you know what? It was a good idea, this game is great! And yeah as always with Telltale games there are a lot of technical issues, but hey i got no freezes (alot of framerate issues tho). Aside that is a great experience, so i highly recommend it if you like Borderlands. Anyway gotta keep moving!
