Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#143: Hitman GO I got this one from a sale to try it. At first it was fun to move around and beat the levels, but the game quickly became extremely repetitive and boring. There's hardly any variation, besides some new enemies. The second half of the game was a real chore to complete. Not to mention almost all of the 91 levels had to be completed multiple times to get all the optional objectives. I'm so glad I got this game during the sale, because it's not worth the full price. #144: Last Rebellion This game is a bit confusing in terms of story. Not much background information is given, characters are thrown into the story, and the story is very short. All in all it feels very rushed. The game suddenly ends after the final boss fight, while leaving a lot of questions unanswered. It's easy to powerlevel and become too OP, which makes fights a bit boring. Which is a shame, because it had potential. Attacking different parts of enemies and figuring out the correct order yields a lot of bonus exp. #145 Dark Souls II I've heard a lot of things about this game and I agree with some of it. The game tries too hard to be difficult. The start of the game is the hardest part, because you only start with 1 estus flask. Luckily there are some consumable items that slowly restores some health, but these cost souls to buy and are limited until beating the Last Giant boss. It's also possible to permanently clear an area of enemies. While this sounds great, it also means limited amount of souls available for leveling up, improving equipment, and buying items. The Souls games are all about trial and error: you try something and either succeed or die, in which case you try something different. However, this game also punishes gamers for dying by reducing their maximum health by 5% for each death. This does stop after 10 deaths, still at 50% health most enemies can kill you with 1-2 hits. To get your health back it's necessary to consume a Human Effigy. These things are very rare at first and cost a lot of souls. All these things make the start of the game very annoying. By the time you find a lot of human effigies or a lot of lifegems, it's no longer needed. This makes the game feel unbalanced. During the second playthrough I hit 99 effigies and didn't even need them, because of the Ring of Life Protection that negates death and allows gamers to retain their souls. Since there are 3 per playthrough, stocking up on them removes the need for human effigies. Still, besides these flaws the game offers a nice challenge. Enemy spawns are different from NG+ and onwards and loot from chests also improves. Jolly cooperation was fun as always and now I'd also get a sunlight medal when summoning a golden phantom, which helped to get 30 medals faster. Popular Post SuffyZorugelion
#198 SkyScrappers Fun game! Dunno, a lot of my friends have played this and they all said it was garbage, but I liked it. I think it works well and has an interesting idea, odd however. There could of been more characters and different obstacles to make the game bigger, but it's a nice afternoon title. Totally just picked this one to set up my 200 quickly lol. Popular Post awf9495
#33 - Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 "Yessy!" My introduction to the Hyperdimension Neptunia series was actually with Rebirth2, which I enjoyed slightly more than the fantastic original. If I played them in reverse order, I may very well feel the opposite to be true but I felt like the characters were better fleshed out in Sisters Generation and there was just more to do in general. That being said, I'm so glad I went back to play Rebirth1 as the familiar gameplay was just as addictive, the characters were almost as likable (Compa stole the show), and it was interesting seeing the characters relationships grow as the story progressed. So excited that I have plenty more games in the series to look forward to!
Popular Post Iris Heart
Platinum Platinum Still, worst description for a platinum, ever. And I just got this platinum the last Saturday, I tried to play the original Uncharted on Crushing mode yesterday but, damn! I just suck hard there, those enemies are unstoppable and dying with 2 or 3 shoots is not cool at all. So I decided to let that game for later, I am playing Atelier Ayesha now, this franchise is new to me and I wanted to give it a chance a long time ago. Until now, I'm enjoying the game, but I'm not sure if I am playing it right because of the time limit... Oh well, I won't be caring about it, I will just enjoy the game. Anyway, Uncharted 2 was a great game, fun and challenging, but my favorite is Uncharted 3 until now. I had tons of fun playing crushing mode. I could have got the platinum in a week, but I am lazy some times. I really just had problems with the trophy for get 50 kills in a row with just manually reloading. I can't wait to try to get the rest of the Uncharted platinums!

Popular Post UK-Danny-93
#64 inFamous First Light 23.84% Uncommon Really enjoyed this game. Even more so Second Son. Fetch was by far the most interesting of SS's side characters so it was nice to see her story preceding the main game. The neon powers were the best before too and here they seem to have been tightened up somewhat. Fetch feels great to control. The challenge arenas too were a fun distraction that fit in nicely with the story. First Lights's a fun and easy Platinum and easy to recommend.

Popular Post SuffyZorugelion
#199 UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late My first reaction when I booted up this game was... I get to beat the living shit out of little Japanese teenage girls who weight 34kg's? Awesome. That's a strange bio btw, why do they have to mention the characters weight...? Anyway, this game actually doesn't have that many teen girls and most of the fighters are cool. Enjoyed this game a lot up until the point I got to the combo challenges... BULLSHIT. I prefer my difficulty in combat and not in some technical garbage. After some practise I got the hang of most combos, but I still wans't able to do two of em. I tried two days nothing but these combos, but I still couldn't do it. At this point I should probably mention that I suck at fighters. The guide I used at the time said 2/10 difficulty, BULLSHIT. I don't mind hard games, but I really just suck at combos. I got the idea the the combos would be easy, but that wasn't the case. I read the unpatched Japanese version of the game was easier to juggle so I thought I'd give it a try. After all I liked the game and I thought I might as well buy it to my fysical collection. I tried that version and I still couldn't do it. BULLSHIT! At this point I just gave up and had to resort to my friend SnowNinjaDK who is a mad fighting game guru, he beasted the two combos in a short moment. Huge thanks to him because without him I wouldn't have this platinum. I can't take full credit for this achievement, no combo games for me in a long time! Next up is my big 200 ^______^ Edited May 2, 2016 by LovesAnInjection
Popular Post Superbuu3
#143: The Amazing Spider-man Does everything a spider can! Unlock all Trophies This was a pretty fun game, not the best spiderman game mainly because there were way too many interior levels, but i really liked how the game was set between movies rather than giving us a plot from the movie, which I feel is too restrictive. The stealth mechanics were decent, although was a little too easy to retreat and return to still get stealth take downs. This was definitely good enough to make me want to play the sequel at some point. The collectibles aren't too bad, with the 700 pages across New York showing up the remaining 200 when you find 500 of them, which actually works pretty well as long as you are grabbing pages throughout the game. Comba I have mixed views on with the combat being fun early on but later enemies block your attacks, which seems kind of dumb since Spider-man is a character who has to pull punches in general and this really makes combat dull later as you find yourself just jumping over enemies repeatedly to hit them in the back. Popular Post Aela
39 ZOMBI Difficulty: 2/10 Rating: 3/10 It's been months since I've posted in this thread Boring game. Hated every minute of it. It was repetitive and downright boring. Your character also literally screams their ass off when they hit zombies and you hear them trembling with fear despite no zombies being present. The controls are also very flimsy and after hitting a zombie 8 times with a nailed baseball bat, I can't help but to ask myself "When the fuck will this die? (again)" Not making the difficulty trophies stack was a bad move as I had to endure this truly shit game yet another 2 times for the platinum 40 Stormrise Difficulty: 3/10 Rating: 8.5/10 I played this game many years ago. It's a platinum I'd always wanted, but never bothered to go for (mainly due to the online). Once I found myself in the possession of two PS3 systems, I asked myself "Why the fuck not?" I self-boosted this game within a day. Winning 99 ranked matches was a very mundane task. I'd certainly not have liked to have boosted the online with someone else as it'd have made it a much more tedious process This game has received terrible reviews. Honestly, objectively this game is better than the one above, but subjectively I enjoyed this game and going back to it after the years and finally getting the platinum was very gratifying. I saved this platinum specifically for my 40th. I could've gotten it a lot faster if I wished Edited May 2, 2016 by Aela
VitalFury
Uncharted 3.-#14 Honestly if it wasn't a uncharted game I'd of given up. Not sure why, but my run and clean up had so many glitches. I must of fallen through the world 5 times atleast and had to restart numerous checkpoints, talks of which checkpoint spawning is a joke..next to five enemies. Thanks. Or just not spawning the enemies but yet they still shot at me. Then the game refused to accept is even beaten it on easy (crushing first time) and had to grab a cloud save so I could farm chapter kills. Maybe I should of tried re installing but 1-2 ran amazingly so I don't know. Maybe it was comming straight off 2 but the story is just boring. Great dialogue and ofc the characters are amazing but I still don't know where certain characters went after the first half. Eh. A week until 4 and it hasn't killed my hype. I still like 3 but it's short comings along with glitches had me a bit peeved at points. You can tell this was the B team. Popular Post greenzsaber
Stranger of Sword City Definitely not as good as Demon Gaze or Operation Abyss, but still an alright experience. Story was average and the limited lives mechanic made combined with the abundance of random instakill moves from enemies made things more tedious than it needed to be. Definitely on the short side trophy-wise compared to the other two games.
Popular Post SuffyZorugelion
#200 ALIENATION I don't know what would be more fitting for a 200th platinum than my new favorite game on the PS4. Housemarque really raised the bar once again with their amazing quality. This game just looks, runs and plays incredible. I can't put into words how smooth this game feels to play. I'm a huge twin stick shooter maniac so I was obviously pretty excited about this game and I wasn't dissappointed :] It's deffinately one of the best games in the genre. I started Dead Nation before Alienation in hopes of platinuming it before this, but I ran out of time so I'm gonna do that next. At the moment just really hyped for DOOM, can't wait for it!

Wow, definitely this was an amazing experience. An indie genesis game that I ended up loving after everything except for Eternal Slip but that's another story lol. Great music, setting, story, characters.. pretty much a lot I liked about it. Could have finished it sooner but you know what held me back. I say definitely pick this up if you like 16 bit RPGs and want to unwind, especially when it's on sale. Also made it as #34th achiever and 9th fastest. Popular Post Undead Wolf
Platinum #112 Ratchet & Clank (2016) The Hero of Heroes Collect every trophy in Ratchet & Clank Everybody's favourite duo is back and better than ever! This is a remake/reimagining of the first game in the series and it improves over the original in pretty much every way. Of course since it's a PS4 game, it looks gorgeous first of all. The gameplay here is way more refined too since you can now strafe, and it includes deeper weapon upgrades that weren't in the first game. It even manages to fit in a new holocard collecting minigame that works surprisingly well. I always found Ratchet & Clank's relationship in the original to be pretty awkward on the account of Ratchet being a huge dick. Thankfully that's nowhere to be seen in this one. Hell, the entire story has had a complete makeover and it's overall just a vastly improved experience. None of the previous mainline R&C games had very hard platinums and this one is no exception. A few collectibles that are super easy since you get an item later in the game that puts their location on your map. Upgrading every weapon the the highest level isn't much of a grind as long as you're leveling them all up equally. Some people had trouble using the Groovitron on every enemy, but personally I found it pretty easy. Probably the "hardest" trophy for me was getting a good time in one of the hoverboard races, but once you learn the shortcuts and such, it's no problem. I had a blast with it and I think it's almost criminal considering how cheap they're selling it for. This series ain't dead yet.

Popular Post GarciaFever
#126 Severed Wow I can't believe this game completely flew under my radar. Has a very nice combination of dungeon crawling RPG elements similar to Demon Gaze with a bit of hack-n-slash (at least in my opinion). The game was very easy to platinum, but trying to figure out some of the puzzles was a pain in the ass for me. I got stuck at one point and tried to go online for help, only to realize moments later that I was completely blind in that the damn answer was right in front of me the whole time! Also, I didn't know that the people who made this game were the same people who made Guacamelee, but then again I have never played said game so I wouldn't have noticed until I saw the game available for purchase when loading up Severed . For anyone who owns a Vita, this is definitely a must buy. EDIT: placed 26th on the fastest achiever list. Popular Post UK-Danny-93
Styx: Master of Shadows 2.71% Ultra Rare Platinum #65 The production value is pretty low here as you'd expect from a Spiders game. The writing and dialogue is cheesy as hell but I think in a relatively charming way, kind of like watching a B movie. Mechanically though, it's a pretty great stealth game. There are some nice touches like there being no such thing as a silent takedwon (only fast or muffled) and the fact that some objects like chairs make noise that can give you away if you knock into them. The levels are well designed and reused well and there's a decent variety of enemies that have different vulnerabilities and detection mechanics. Each mission must be completed without killing anyone (Mercy), without being detected (Shadow), whilst collecting all tokens (Thief) and in certain time limit (Swiftness) to earn the Platinum. Doing so provided a decent challenge and was pretty satisfying imo. I found it best to do Thief and Shadow on my first playthrough and then go for Mercy and Swiftness on my second go through. Replaying missions is thankfully doable at the end of every mission. My biggest gripes with the game would be for the loading times which are obnoxiously long and with the platforming mechanics. Jumping for ledges or handholds was often frustrating and combined with the loading times when you fall to your death (as Styx yells 'Fuck Yoooouuuuu for the nth time) or get detected because of it could lead to a very frustrating loop. Overall I really enjoyed it though and would recommend it if you like stealth games. Edited May 3, 2016 by UK-Danny-93
