Popular Post Crono
Platinum - 3.56% UREarn All Trophies Fantastic game. Definitely a hidden gem through and through. Albeit old and in need of some tweaks, its RPG and espionage mechanics really deliver. You literally become more deadly the more you level, but you can still get killed in 2-3 shots (on Hard but Easy gets tougher too) if you're careless, solidifying an excellent leveling up system imo. The story has the common movie-like conspiracy setting and it takes a bit of time to kick in, but when it does...Well, let's just say James Bond has nothing to envy. Very well-crafted story that doesn't leave any loose ends at all, though this depends on your choices entirely. Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: depends on your build, but 4/10. 8/10 without a guide due to missables. Edited June 3, 2016 by Lord_of_Ra
Popular Post Sergen
Payday 2: Platinum #79 I thought this game was not as good of a game as Payday: The Heist mainly because you need to purchase a heist with money that you made from other heists in order to host it. The worst trophies on this game are Guessing Game and They see me baggin', they hatin' both trophies took a few hours each and I did They see me baggin', they hatin' on overkill difficulty. This platinum was a bit more difficult than Payday: The Heist for me solely because of the luck that is required to get various trophies and the endurance factor of surviving on overkill difficulty while trying to get 8 bags for the garage escape. The grind for reputation level 100 is worse on this game than trying to get $1billion Payday 1 because of the fact that you must purchase the heist that you can use for grinding, I mixed up some of my grinding by doing the train heist, which requires you to find intel about the train heist in one of the lockers inside an armoured truck, the intel is not always in the heist, this has to be done on overkill difficulty on one of the armoured transport DLC maps. Once you get the train heist you can keep committing suicide and gaining a lot of XP, however the game didn't let me grind the train heist forever, it eventually ended up backing me out of it. The other grinding method I used was constantly playing the Rats heist on overkill difficulty as a pro job, this netted me with a lot of XP however it costs a lot of offshore money to be able to host it, I would often sit around waiting to find random lobbies that might have been hosting the heist. From my perspective, I think this game was 5/10 difficulty but I got helped by the same person who helped me with Payday: The Heist, although I say this, I think doing Payday: The Heist with a crew of people who have never done it before would be much more difficult than doing Payday 2 with a crew who never did it before. Popular Post Masamune
Golden CompletedEarn all trophies That was just as fun as it was in the PS2 days, actually more because of all the extra stuff in the Vita version! There's only 2 things I didn't care for in this version: the first is the opening video, the PS2's version was way better. The second is fishing, it's a little more annoying in this game (that Sea Guardian was a pain in the ass...), I miss the days where I could just use my turbo controller to reel everything in. But when you come across a game this good, you pretty much have to plat it. Popular Post erickt123
#50 - DOOM (2016) I have to admit, when DOOM was shown back in E3 2015, I was kind of concerned on how the game would turn out, such things like glory kills and the design of the demons gave me rather low expectations for the game overall, and that is not even adding a rather lackluster open beta for the multiplayer. Finally, with the game released on Friday the 13th of May, DOOM is probably the biggest surprise of 2016 hands-down, the game delivered highly over the low expectations of many people, including myself. The single-player campaign is some of the best in FPS years for knowing that at heart, it's an FPS game and gameplay is what many people came for, which is to kill demons. Story is mostly kept behind codex and data logs, and surprisingly enough, it's pretty interesting to see that DOOM has plenty of lore despite being a series known mostly for the gameplay. What makes the single-player amazing is that it's a wonderful mix between old-school and modern day FPS games with the gameplay constantly having you to move around an arena while also adding in things like upgrading your weapons, armor, and your own abilities. Heck, even the glory kills, which was a big worry in many trailers and gameplay footage, aren't as bad as they appear to be as they flow well with the gameplay and are actually quick in their executions. There's also a plentiful amount of secrets, many references to old id Software games as well as the older Doom games, there's even the arcade game from Doom 3 for those who had played that game. If you're really the hunter for secrets, you can even find old classic Doom levels from the first two games, of which when you find them in a level, you can return to the main menu and select a playlist containing the levels in their entirety. Speaking of which, the classic levels look the same way as they did, the differences being that the gameplay would be "modern" as well as the enemy designs, which presents a new challenge. Lasting 10-12 hours, more if you're going to find all the secrets, DOOM is an amazing comeback from id Software and a great return of the franchise that revolutionize the FPS genre, and it brings me hope seeing more from id Software compared to what the rest of the market has. Okay, first things first, if you're going to get the platinum of DOOM, don't fully upgrade the Rocket Launcher Detonator mod last, because there's a glitch where if you upgrade that last, it'll cause the trophy IDKFA to not pop-up, and even with the recent patches, the trophy is still not fixed. Outside of that, the trophies for DOOM are self-explanatory for the most part, with a mix of trophies earned for progressing the game and some unlocking everything and find some of the secrets. Along of upgrading every weapon mod, which isn't too bad if you know where to grind, you also need to complete every mission challenge and find all the collectibles, which includes toy Doom Guy models. Mission challenges vary in difficulty, some are rather easy while others can be a bit of a pain, but nothing is necessarily too difficult. Finding the collectibles would take a while, but with how the Automap in the single-player works, especially if you fully upgrade your armor, then they'll be pretty easy to find as long as you constantly check your map. There's the addition of Rune Trials, which tasks you to complete a trial while limited to a specific weapon in order to obtain a rune that would give you a benefit to your overall gameplay, like smoother jumping and even faster glory kills. While the Rune Trials are annoying, practicing makes the Trials easier when you get the patterns down. You also have to upgrade the Runes, but again, it's nothing excessively difficult. Last but not least, you have to beat the first level of the game, The UAC, on Ultra-Nightmare, which is unlocked after beating the main game. I'm surprised they didn't asked you to beat the whole game on Ultra-Nightmare, since the first level isn't so difficult when you compare it to the rest of the game, but hey, I guess less stress to worry about. Aside of the main campaign, the rest of DOOM is falls on the "meh" side of things. The rest of the game includes the Multiplayer and SnapMap, a map editor that pretty much does what it serves to do. The Multiplayer ranges from okay at best to crippling mediocrity as it does the polar opposite of the single-player, which is combine the worst of old-school and modern FPS games with things like loadouts, perks, and power-weapons that someone is going to hoard the entire game (Including myself). That's not even mentioning the Demon Runes, which turns you into a Demon like the Baron of Hell, which essentially makes you a God compared to the rest of the players in a match with a big boost in health, damage, and damage resistance, stealing kills from your team and destroying the game for the enemy team. Complaints aside, the Multiplayer plays like a familiar modern day FPS game, where you constantly unlock things like taunts and cosmetics, but the thing, why bother when there's better multiplayer games out there, even recently released games like Uncharted 4 and Overwatch have more to offer for multiplayer than what the new DOOM does, and that's not mentioning the $40 Season Pass they're including that only contains Map Packs, but without bot support, I don't know how long the multiplayer would last to be honest. Luckily, there's only two trophies for the multiplayer, which is to win a match and reach Level 5, which should only take you a couple matches. As for SnapMap, at the moment, it's kind of "there." While free updates will come for it like new level assets from the campaign, which is great and all, it's kind of lacking for what it offers as of the time I made this post as you're stuck with UAC base assets and the limits are strict as they want to make sure the PS4 and Xbox One aren't being under too much pressure. Speaking of which, SnapMap is cross-platform, all maps are shared from the three main platforms, meaning PS4 players can play levels made on PC and Xbox One players can play levels made on the PS4, which is a great feature, although modding communities on the classic Doom games may not like this. Again, with future updates coming, SnapMap has a lot of potential, it's just kind of missing at the moment, although people still made good levels despite the limitations. To wrap up the trophies, you need to complete the tutorials and play 5 other SnapMaps made by other people, which shouldn't take too long. Also, you need to make your own SnapMap level, which you can do so by publishing an empty template or actually create a level like I did (ID: 5A38UMAJ, self-advertisement?). 50 Platinum Trophies, just before my 7th year of of collecting trophies, which was a goal to get 50 Platinum Trophies before August, and I thought DOOM would make a great 50th Platinum, and I must say, it was all worth it. Rip and Tear, until it is done. Difficulty (Campaign): 6/10 (Secrets and upgrades can take a while, but nothing outside the ordinary) Difficulty (Ultra-Nightmare): 3.5/10 (You're not asked to beat the entire game, so not much to worry about) Difficulty (Multiplayer and SnapMap): 3/10 (Simple stuff) Enjoyment: 9.5/10 (One of the best Single-Player FPS games in years) Edited June 5, 2016 by erickt123

This game is really fun and even a bit addicting, but those damn glitched trophies ruined the whole experience for me. Popular Post Komrade_Konrad
#26 - Rayman Origins Sweet Dreams! Won ALL trophies in the game! SICK! Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 When I first played this game, I really couldn't get a feel for the controls and initially put it down. Now, close to 3 years later, I came back to it and very glad that I did. The character and level design are fantastic with some gorgeous cartoon artwork. Once you get in the flow of a level, it can be extremely satisfying to fly through obstacles at high speed. That said, sometimes the controls can be a bit temperamental and either send you flying into trouble or leave you standing in place. Difficulty wise, nothing is too bad. Some of the speedruns are a little rough, but there's pretty much always plenty of time on the clock to do it. Land of the Livid Dead takes a little practice, but is very doable. Overall, this was a fun and relatively quick platinum.

Popular Post 30 Year Old Boomer
Platinum #33- The Deadly Tower Of Monsters PS4. Rating: 8.5/10. Well this was a pretty fun game to get. I've always wanted to try this out since I heard it's a top down shooter and I like those kinds of games but I held off on buying it until now as I want to earn 8 platinum trophies this month which will be my personal best. I had a ton of fun with this game. I definitely enjoyed the commentary that was running in the game haha. A lot of funny stuff to be heard. Gameplay was solid as well. The weapons were fun to use, and I liked the characters. The trophies in the game weren't hard at all to get. Heck, this almost could have been my fastest platinum earned on Dante, which that position is currently held by The Order: 1886 at 8 hours and 1 minute but missed by 15 minutes. Oh well, at least happy I popped it in less than a day. Well, overall, I had fun with this game, and next up will be Albedo: Eyes From Outer Space which I'll start tomorrow, as I'm tired right now.

Bartolomeus
-- 13th platinum DRIVECLUB BIKES Overall a great game, albeit a bit different. After playing what surely must be 100 hours or more of DRIVECLUB, I thought that this DLC or standalone would be a piece of cake, but it wasn't. You see, racing on a bike is not quite the same as in a car. First of all, using walls for efficient stopping (yeah right..) is no longer a viable option, as you will fall of your bike. Besides, it's now harder to block other contestants by simply turning over as they're about to overtake you. And I mustn't forget the fact that bikes and cars are fundamentally different, so I needed to learn to brake and hit the accelerator at different times than what I was used to, and in the beginning it was tough. In the first races I struggled with actually winning the races, because three-star requirements such as a normal cornering face-off, which is a lot harder on a bike than in a car, would force me to slow down and lose touch with my contestants. Quite a few races also feature two requirements to be fulfilled for one single star, and usually they were not that easily achieved in one go. It could be something like "Get a wheelie score of minimum 2500" and "Finish 1st", and any seasoned DRIVECLUB BIKES player will know that racking up a wheelie score of 2500 will take require some meters, you will have low speed while and after doing it while your opponents drives as fast as their bikes can take them, and many times you will probably fail before reaching 2500, meaning that you just wasted speed and time. Better luck next time. But it was a challenge, and it was fun. One thing wasn't fun, though. Reaching level 15 with 12 bikes. That was quite grindy. But otherwise this game rocked. If you like DC, you will also like DC Bikes.

Popular Post GoodbyeBread
Prince of Persia (2008) This was one of the first of many games when I got a PS3. I was unable to focus on it at the since newer games came out and high school demanded more of my attention. After six years, I'm happy that I was able to plat this game. Now to give my thoughts...High points from the game were definitely the chemistry between the Prince and Elika (which was basically the meat of the game in my opinion), the art, the atmosphere and the music. The music in the game in my opinion is one of the best qualities of this game. With the places you go with the land healed, it does make me want to live there.Lowest points of the game I would say blocking system (deflecting) and 'Ending'. In the game, you able to block or deflect your enemies attacks while you are in combat. This is fine when it works, but frustrating when it doesn't. You have to be precise with deflecting. otherwise, you will lose health quickly. The ending was also the lowest part for me. My feelings towards it is the same towards God of War III ending. Just having a dystopian world where darkness is everywhere and humanity/heroes are in complete despair just doesn't sit right with me. I mean, the ending they had originally with Ahriman is defeated and Elika sacrificing herself so Ahriman remains trapped. Then the prince had to go out of his way and bring her back. I guess you could make an argument that this was the prince's love for Elika. Maybe I'm just sour for the game never getting a sequal. In short, this is game that I enjoyed very much and hope to see more PoP games in the future.(I'm kinda tired of the AC franchise. No offense to AC fans)
