Popular Post Thrintus
Platinum Trophy #23: The Dark Soul Ah, finally! I've been an avid Souls fan since I first got my hands on Demon's Souls (still my second favourite Souls game, I'm afraid Bloodborne takes the cake ) and I'm very happy that I've finally successfully platted this one too! I have spent a lot of hours on Dark Souls, always PvPing in the Darkroot Forest and Undead Burg, helping people in Anor Londo, etc. Of course, after having beat the game countless times. But I've never really wanted to go for all the Miracles, Rare Weapons etc. Then I realized I had already platted Demon's and Bloodborne, and was close to platting Dark Souls and its sequel anyway, so I decided to take a few days off other games for dedicated farming. And after, I think, 4 days of hard work, I've managed to clear all these trophies and add this shiny platinum to my collection! I was on NG+2 already with my universal character (meaning balanced stats) which also had the most pyromancies and sorceries so far, so it obviously was a lot harder for me than people who started from scratch, considering I had to clear it twice more to get both Sif weapons. Aside from a few bosses, it turned out to be a lot easier than expected. I guess because I've become better at the game over time. Game rating: 9.2/10 Plat difficulty: 6.5/10
Popular Post xMisFitToyx
# 38 13-Star General I didn't think I would ever PLAT this one. But, since this was the only thing I took on my vacation ... I was able to concentrate on getting those last 30 or so stars.
Popular Post Razza
(maybe not the toxic wastes, I'm not a mutant...yet) Are you sure your not a mutant... with those bad ass trophy hunting skills you have you must have some kind of mutant super powers OT # 138 Zombi The Ultimate Survivor - Earn every trophy in the game I had this game from PS+ from a couple of months ago and tried it back then and found it immediately boring so I stopped playing it for somethings a bit more fun. But after months of looking at this game sat on my trophy list incomplete so I thought I would give it a try and to my surprise ........ I still thought it was boring, the game play feels really slow and clunky and the story is very cliche and half the time I had no idea what was going on. Overall I didn't enjoy Zombi as it felt like a poor port from the WiiU that needed some extra work done to it for it to be fun to play on a PS4, but can't complain about this too much as it was part of PS+

Popular Post Redgrave
#71: The Epitome of Super Earth - Helldivers Pretty enjoyable game with friends and a competent group of other players. Not so much with randoms that mess around or don't know what to do. Still, I had fun with it apart from the 100k kill grind and some of the other tricky trophies. I also wasn't too fond of the friendly-fire thing, and while I get that's the gimmick it makes it easy for people to grief. But I wish those trying to go for the Platinum now good luck, since not a lot of people are playing it compared to months ago when it was free on PS+. I also think an X-COM game in this style would be pretty neat.
Popular Post jacks
Day of the Tentacle Remastered OCD Game: 10/10 Difficulty: 1/10 with a guide, but you'll be beating your head against a wall without one, since, much like Grim Fandango, these games were HARD pre-internet era One of my favorite games from my youth, it's amazing I was able to complete this without a guide at some point in my younger days (for the record, I used one for the trophies, while occasionally exploring on my own). I think this was a far better remaster than Grim Fandango, but it's really hard to choose my favorite between these two since they just ooze with charm (no pun intended) regardless of the fact that clearly a lot more time and effort went into this. Whether you are using a guide to get an easy platinum, or slugging it out on your own like the rest of us back in the ye olde days, this isn't so much a platinum that you can be proud of because it shows off your raw skill, but rather one to show off because you love these incredibly charming games from the likes of Tim Schafer and the glory days of Lucas Arts. I wanted to make this part of a milestone (was gunning for 75th, since GF was my 50th), but I just really wanted to play it again, so I couldn't wait another 9 platinums before playing this. Even with though now I can't make it a milestone game, I do have this very lovely looking platinum trophy that now sits in my collection.

Popular Post xMissFantasy
82 Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (PS3) Master of Mordor I have GOTY platinumed on PS4 (still working on DLC every now and then) but I have to say, this on the old gen was really bad.. I didn't know this till about half way through the game but Behaviour is the developer of the PS3 version while Monolith Productions was on PS4 (for those unaware). I don't know why they did that but it really messed with me. The constant frame rate drops, texture issues, sound problems and glitches made me almost hate playing this again (and I love this game, so much that I will be getting the vanilla for PS4 eventually). Never had any issues on 4 but SO many on 3 like glitching into the rock faces while jumping them on a Caragor or dropping off a zip-line AND random invisible boxes.. Bottom line, still a really fun game to play but I recommend to ANYONE who wants to play this to play on new gen.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
3 Master Thief So I went back to see if all the things I said about Sly 3 still held up back when I posted my Thieves in Time plat, and for the most part, yeah, it is a solid finale for the series. The story is fun, the ending like I said is satisfying, and even though we technically got only two actual characters to play as, the still felt much more unique and fun than Sly's ancestors. Those Challenges though... YEESH. Their limits and restrictions unfortunately start to show flawed the gameplay is, from the camera to slippery movement and how utterly cheap nature of some of the bosses. So yeah, Sly 2 still remains to me the best of the series, but still, this game WAS a good one to go out on.

Popular Post Undead Wolf
Platinum #123 Infamous inFamous Platinum Trophy Collect all other inFamous trophies. This was a platinum I had been trying to get years ago, and it was going well. I was just finishing up my second playthrough, I had gotten all the dead drops and I completed everything on the stunt list. Now only one trophy remained and that was for the blast shards. Well no problem I thought! I had been keeping a mental note of the blast shards I had collected from looking at a map online, so there wouldn't be a problem, right!? Wrong! I collected what I thought should be the last blast shard, and to my dismay, there was no trophy pop. I glanced back at the online map to see the 350 blast shard locations that I'd have to recheck, and it was too much for me. I shut off my PS3 in frustration and vowed to never come back. I messed up. So fast forward to around two years later, and here I am wanting to play something for a few hours to take a break from the stuff I'm currently playing. I look on my shelf to see my copy of Infamous which has gone untouched since the day I screwed up. I decided to start playing for a bit and have another crack at those damn blast shards, although I was expecting to just run around for a few hours in vain. Yet by some miracle, after about an hour and a half of mindlessly running around mashing L3, I saw that glorious blue mark appear on the minimap. I couldn't believe my eyes. After two years of regret and disappointment, here I was about to make it right! About to make my dreams come true! I collect it and have never been so happy to hear that glorious DING! I did it! My journey is over. Edited June 28, 2016 by Undead Wolf

Popular Post 30 Year Old Boomer
Platinum #40- Ratchet and Clank PS4. Rating: 10/10. This game is a game I've been waiting for a while, since I liked the Ratchet and Clank games, but never really completed one before. And I'm glad to say that this was a great platinum to make my 40th, although I'm disappointed it didn't help me get to level 20, although to make up for that, I'll do Republique's platinum for level 21! Anyways, the game was great. I loved everything about it like the visuals were amazing and beautiful to look at, characters were pretty great and they had funny dialogue, the weapons in the game were REALLY awesome like the sheepinator was tons of fun to use (Now wishing I had something similar to that, but it turns stuff into backlog monsters.), the RYNO was pretty overpowered but fun to use, and also Mr. Zurkon and his son had some pretty funny dialogue to listen to. I feel like that this is probably my GOTY of 2016 and it's my favorite PS4 exclusive right next to Infamous: Second Son and Until Dawn. The trophies in the game weren't hard at all, and I'd say it's a 3.5/10 difficulty as the Death by Disco trophy can be a bit annoying, the bolts needed for the upgrades requires you to grind out about 3 million, 500 bolts, but I found a pretty good tactic which involves the glove of doom in the planet of Rilgar that netted me 30,000-55,000 bolts when at 20x multiplier, and the holo card trophy wasn't hard, but I actually got the new card from the last set I needed when doing my tactic for grinding. Overall, I really enjoyed the game and it was worth every dollar I spent on it. Now it's making me want to pick Into The Nexus and the HD collection on PS3! (I already own A Crack In Time, and FFA.) And it's my 40th platinum, 90th completed game, and 130th game played on Dante. The next game I'll make some milestones with is Republique by making that my 3,500th trophy, trophy that gets me to level 21 hopefully, and 45th platinum. Also, this was my best trophy hunting month ever, as I've gotten 367 trophies in this month alone, and 8 platinum trophies! So that was a big goal for me, and it also showed me that I'm capable to get a certain amount of platinum's within a time range. Guess I'm improving quite a bit since I joined this site in July 2014. Popular Post AdventCloud7
MILESTONE #30 BloodborneAll trophies acquired. Hats off! "Bloodborne Platinumith Cometh" Oh, Hunter! As a fellow hunter, I am obligated to honor the Code of Hunters and impart to you the following words of wisdom: Unless thou art a hunter of hunters, thou shall succumb to the bitterness of repetitious death. Therefore, 'tis wise to channel the forsaken powers of the Cult of Blue Oyster and chant "don't fear the reaper!" with conviction powerful enough to shake the very foundations of Yharnam's grotesque monuments. Dread serves only to consume those who falter along the arduous trek through the uninviting territories, whose paths yield unrelenting trepidation among an unending madness quenched in the vile blood of crestfallen Hunters and despicable foes alike, for Yharnam boasts wanton disregard for human life and entombs the crestfallen. Honor thy skills, temper thy weapons and trust thy instincts, for diligence remits blood. But remember, thy greatest weapons are patience and modesty. Wield these virtues in the heat of battle, and push aside hubris —the bane of hunters— if need be, in order to call upon assistance from thy fellow hunters. Many secrets lay hidden in Yharnam and await your discovery. Consult the layout of the terrain, beware the moors and remember that a hunter is never alone! Popular Post yellowwindow7
We Had Fun, Didn't We? / Tale's From BORDERLANDS ( PS3 ) i don't need to text five pages worth of a book like i usually do when writing about the experience i been through with this platinum and that on this one, anyone can plat this game, no collectibles no difficulty spikes and no stupid trophy about seen every freaking ending thank god! just sit through the entire game and make your own story or how you want it to be or end. i can't talk about the game much since it's a huge spoiler as it's a heavily story driven adventure game. but i can talk about the performance which i heard thousands of people yappin' about the PS3 version as it crush a lot's and froze all the time?!?!!....... don't know what version is that but i never had an issue on a Telltale game on ps3 except Sam & Max TDPH as it run below 30 FPS and still drop even more. guess the physical version are bad on ps3?? cause all the Tt games i played are the digital versions, TFBL run really well on my ps3 it does freeze a few seconds here and there when it's auto saving but nothing else, and the game most of the time run at 30FPS and instead of dropping down it goes up to 60FPS so... catch a ride??!? i really loved this game!.... is it a sin to say i liked it more than Beyond Two Souls? in fact i didn't even cared for it's trophies, the story the characters the event's really hocked me to the end.
