I alread have played to 100% on N3DS but had to played again all over just for the enjoyment of platinum it and engraving this masterpiece forever into my trophy colletion and of course to ride the roller coaster of feelings and emotions all over again from the beginning like it's my very first time   And you know what ? Deep down in my heart i really felt i was reliving this masterpiece with the same excitement and curiosity to push further until all it's revelead right in front of my eyes .

Really late with posting this but I figured I'd drop this in here. Finally hit 100 platinums and I figured this would be a good fit as bookends of sorts (RE5 on PS3 was my very first plat.) I originally wanted to plat Silent Hill 2 for #100 as it's my favorite game of all time but I don't think I have it in me to deal with the port job on PS3 long enough to get a 10 star run.

 

I don't have a lot to say about this one other than it's still one of my favorites. I'm not one to spend a lot of time (or any at all) playing online with others but I spent probably 90% of my time short of grinding out money for upgrades with friends. I wish some of the various bits that lend themselves to the co-op better carried over into 6 (sharing ammo and whatnot) but that's a different discussion all together. 5 is probably my favorite RE game after CVX by a large margin.

 

On an overall trophy hunting standpoint, I'll probably still be getting plats here and there but I've decided to stop going out of my way for them in 90% of all cases. It's been (mostly) fun though!

This really is a beautiful game if you stay with it and give it a chance. It seems too complex, dull, and hokey at first. It's absolutely not for the casual gamer, who wants an ordinary campaign or a game they can jump right into. It takes time, but it pays off into an engrossing massive fantasy that relishes in your freedom of gameplay. After 20 hours, you should have a decent understanding of most aspects of the gameplay and be into the main quest. What was complex will become second nature, enabled largely by the intuitive PS4 controller. What was hokey or dull becomes very alive with solid lore that stays very true to the Final Fantasy classics. The game seems most influenced by FF I, II, and III (in the west). If you played these games when you were younger, you'll delight in seeing their evolved return in MMO form. There are so so many things that you can do -and perhaps the greatest achievement of the game- is that most of these things are actually quite fun. Navigating becomes realistic, combat becomes more strategical, and even things like crafting become truly entertaining in their gameplay. Being able to quest with every class on the same character really makes it interesting. Another great achievement is that it does not feel grindy or like you have to farm. Again, there is so much to do- you can just let your character explore or you can plan your objectives with goals in mind. The culture is excellent, join a nice Free Company, and the social element of the game also becomes a pleasure. The graphics on the PS4 are very good and really show the detail of the Final Fantasy artwork, which flows without delay everywhere you travel. The music is great and the lack of voice acting is, in my opinion, mostly a plus. I can't stand when you hear the same voice actors playing different characters in a game. Also, I can read much faster than they speak. Perhaps they could have been improved with some more voice acting in cutscenes, but for the most part, I prefer it as it is. With all that being said, there is nothing particularly mind blowing or ground breaking in the game. It still has its frustrations and repetitions, particularly in side quests. The plot is your standard Japanese anime about good versus evil, other dualities, and the need for balance. The dialogue is mostly well written and there is a ton of dialogue content. Personally, I hate the ye ole English style of the dialogue. The subscription price is warranted for the content updates. It's just a solid Final Fantasy MMO. You can really choose to do whatever you want in this game. Nothing is forced.It's a great game to enjoy for many hours - ultimately, for the freedom it gives. Shoutout my dear friend, DEMON for really helping me out in this game.

Completed Season 1 of Game of Thrones.

 

Get it if you are a huge fan of the drama! A very interesting point of view from the eyes of another loyal banner-man.

I often wonder to myself if I made the right choice, if things could have turned out better. 

Provides you with a deep provoking thinking process. Decisions have to be made swiftly.

I like the added touch of slight player involvement as well instead of just solely making choices.

Completed Neptunia VII!

 

Why did this game flop? Sure, the story is lackluster, and the title is just stupid (part of me thinks that people saw this as Neptunia 7, and wondered what the hell happened between Victory and this one). But the gameplay is arguably the best in the series. I really enjoyed earning the flags, which became supremely OP by the end.

 

Oh well - I got this for 80% off a few weeks back in the Best of E3 sale, and really enjoyed the experience. I recommend it even to people who don't like these niche RPGs. Just skip the story for the most part, and enjoy the solid gameplay.

Bought this several months ago and it was sitting on my shelf for a while, tried watching the anime but the 1st episode didn't hook me at all. I didn't understand what all the praise around Steins;gate came from. Finally decided to fire up the game and damn was I wrong. The story is amazing and I like how it ties up with several real life events. I will most likely give the anime another try and will definitely be getting Steins;gate 0 once that gets localised.

 

The soundtrack was also amazing, I found some of the themes to be very memorable. Hard to have a favorite character, I found all of them to have their charm.

What a wonderful game. I played a bit of it when it was on the PS2, but it's technical drawbacks were a little much, and it eventually fell into the backlog pile that was never to be touched again as soon as I gave up (not to mention, it was pretty rough around the edges in most other departments). When I saw the screenshots of this, I knew I had to give this game another shot. What can I say -- I'm a sucker for games that have creators that have a semblance of knowledge in color theory, so when I saw how beautiful it was going to look finally in HD, I needed to give it a go.

 

The story is phenomenal, and one of the better out there. The characters are lovingly crafted, and their stories are fleshed out in ways that really makes you want to keep pushing forward, like watching a great episodic TV drama. Even the character I disliked the most (Mercedes) had an interesting story, and it really says something about a team that can pull it together enough to make me even like what I felt was the worst part of the game. I will also say that THIS is how you do a remake; take a game that struggled in execution, take what was all good about it, erase most of the bad, and come out with a far better product that is approachable and accessible and doesn't have a crippling framerate to bog down the experience.

 

I think the only two downsides I can think of against the game is the large number of repeats in boss fights, and Mercedes' book. I felt Mercedes side scrolling shooting mechanic was just... OK, but the story was at least good, so there's that. I personally would have just turned her entire section into one side scrolling shmup to utilize her flying ability and crossbow if they really wanted to change it up, but the whole section just felt at odds with the rest of the game, and not in a good way.

 

But if you want a TL;DR version of this: it doesn't matter if you are into Japanese games or not, this is a game that should not be missed as it is one of the better games of the year, and you owe it to yourself to include this game into your library.

Been a fan of Ar Tonelico series (except 3 cause i dont have PS3) and when my cousin gave his PS Vita of his since he switched to 3DS (pls dont kill me) ive been saving money enough to buy PS Vita games and i say this could be one of the best JRPG i played in PS Vita

Well if only PS2 have trophy achievements i could have a lot of trophies from it and probably the closest one that has a system like that is Star Ocean 3 with their 255 insane achievement table

What a great way to make history today by first off have over 100 games that I have played so far, 2 time Visual Novel master king, and have 1,000 posts on PSNprofiles!

This wouldn't have been special on what my thoughts of the game where I'll explain this first.

This is my first time playing a Blazeblue game that even I felt that it's a different experience than the main story of the Blazeblue series. The game really does make you feel you actually watching an anime movie special where it features some stereotypes that features most what you suspect of the characters. Throughout the game it was decent with some funny moments, but it was meh in the first half since I already see some typical scenes that were shown in other shows before when I used to watch anime. The second half is better. Most of the villain characters are the most intriguing people you will ever see where even Seeth is not to mess with if you have played the game before, you know what I mean. The endings overall were alright where it isn't better than Steins;Gate endings which that game is a must buy no matter what, but it gets the job done except Nagisa's ending which is hot garbage. Even worse is, Toyua the main character of the game, I don't like him at all due to the fact that he's pretty much sticking to things he wants to be peace with nobody making his friends hurt where it makes me feel like a shouen character acting like this which is so cringeful. One exception that I could accept that does a better job with that personality without being so disobedient every time is Gon Forcces from Hunter X Hunter.

Although, the best endings I truly like to make over that mess was the true ending of Es which I found Touya to be okay in that route and the plot, Mei since I think she's pretty cute where that's the only part I only like of the route basically of her only, and Kuon, same as Mei but the aftermath turned to be better where even Toua wasn't so aggravating in that one as well.

One special part that I actually liked the most was the gag scenarios mini arc. Seems hilarious of what the plot is about having to fetch three ingredients in order to make Touya's co worker fulfilled on what she needs to cook, but it still has some tension parts from the music which I found it to be really nice. Really love the mode the most.

Overall, it's a great game for those who haven't played any Blazeblue games before including me where it is worth the price to buy it at this point. Really wish the TOI phone be more easier to occur what ending it leads to at the point of the moment. Even though using the guide from Playstationtrophies was really helpful of what is it about to follow the ending routes, I wish the TOI would be more like the phone of Steins;gate where I don't have to read all of the articles every single time having to stop the game in order to see what part it leads to. Plus, trying to get the ES's endings for the AOS trophy was quite annoying from the 5-5 save point I used since I kept on getting the bad end like 2 or 3 times already while getting creeped out of how Seeth is just by how imitating he is. Sheesh.

Easy platnuim, but have to watch what are you doing and use guides of all times where you really need it for sure.

Now, after I explained of my great journey of conquering that mess, I would like to say that I am truly the best master of gaming, where throughout the training and hard playing hours just to let things feel good on what I accomplish things, I love it so much just like how I love Ramleathal Valentine, my true love. Kind of off topic since that was rather, um silly at first, but this is my reaction of after typing all of this information down that I end this post with a satisfying victory, and I thank every time I spend some awesome moments on PSNprofiles~

One word - Masterpiece.

TLOU is probably my favorite game from previous generation of consoles. But when i played it again on ps4, it was like i'm playing it for the first time.

By now, everyone knows what The Last of Us is. It's post-apocalyptic third person survival-horror action game, so no need to talk about that.

Game looks much smoother on ps4, graphics are kinda better, more beautiful.

Trophy wise, easy plat with some challenging parts on Survivor difficulty, but nothing special.

I encountered one potential glitch when trophy for unlocking all shiv doors didn't pop.

Apparently, autosave didn't save one of the doors (even tho in statistics was 13 out of 13), so i had to chapter select until trophy popped.

Hopefully, Naughty Dog makes TLOU2 or at least something similar to this game.
