Popular Post SuffyZorugelion
#215 Coffin Dodgers You know you are playing a quality game when you pause the game, select restart race and it doesn't work Theres not much to be said about Coffin Dodgers. I guess one could wonder why this was even made... It's a game about some old people trying to escape Death him self by kart racing... Thats right ladies and gentlemen. I leave it at that.
Popular Post DiracMan42
Platinum #19 Resogun About 2 years later than expected, but better late than never! I really enjoyed it - a well-done modern update of Defender, basically. Recommend it to anyone, especially at the price it sells for now. I might have to check-out Alienation and Dead Nation, which are also arcadey-type games by the same developer. Only complaint I can muster: the number of add-on DLC packs is out-of-control here! There are four separate DLC packs! Four! You platinum the game at 57% completion! That's a little crazy, imo.
Popular Post Icebrand1270
Platinum 91 PS4 Platinum 7 Arcade Game Series: Dig Dug I'm new to this place but certainly not new to Platinum, as you can see. Still, the day the hunt gets old is the day I retire! I certainly wasn't expecting this (or Galaga, Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man) to have Platinum, especially with a 4 dollar price tag. Still, I'm certainly not complaining! That said, I'm grateful for the "cloud-save exploit" trick that is well-known by now. This game is very tough even with that trick up my sleeve. Thank you Plus for that feature.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Platinum Trophy Not to sound repetitive, but here is yet another platinum for another game I thought many years ago I would never finish. It's funny how my feeling on this are opposite of the first one. The story felt like DLC, and many of the characters felt like holdovers/abandoned concepts from the first game. As well the end, being DAWWWWWW once again. But then I remembered, this game had multiple paths. What would happen if I harvested just one or two sisters? To my surprise, I got this. No sunshiny happiness, no eff-them-all-launch-the-nukes. Just uncertainty, and the hope/fear in the face of it. Here is someone who deserves a happy ending. She survived a city that arguably should never have existed. No longer under the influence of a crazy broad that never loved her as she was in the first place. But where does she go from here? How will the world respond to girl raised from birth to be someones twisted view of a savior? She's finally free to live her life, and yet her sole reason for living is gone, for reasons she does not understand. This ending made the entire game's story worth it, an I hope somewhere down the line its decided to be canon. This, was (IMO) the most perfect ending a game like Bioshock deserves. Popular Post Dilla
#73 Max Payne 3 I don't mean to get too emotional, but this one is very personal. I'm dedicating it in honor of my cat Max who passed away last year. I got him as a gift for my 12th birthday back in late 2002. As you can probably tell, he was named after the titular character of this series (I was a huge fan of the original Max Payne when I was younger.) Prior to this instance, I hadn't ever experienced a loss that really affected me. The grieving process was very difficult, but video-games in particular helped me cope. I was working on Metal Gear Rising's plat around that time, and as frustratingly hard as that game was, trying to get better at it helped me take my mind off other things. Gaming has pretty much always been my escape. Anyway, as for MP3's platinum it wasn't as brutal as I was expecting. I actually had more issues with how glitchy the game was, especially during NYMHC playthroughs. A lot of my failed attempts resulted from the game either freezing or some other stupid bug. Like enemies no longer spawning, making it impossible to progress in certain areas. There's also the mind-numbing grind to rank 50 in the MP, but I guess it's to be expected with R* trophy lists lol. Overall though, I had a fun time re-playing it. I haven't felt as motivated to plat a game in quite a while. I'm glad I was able to do it in tribute to my cat, too. ... ^ Taken last year with my Vita. I've never been a photogenic person, but it will have to do.

Popular Post ASmartKid24
#29 Metro: Last Light Redux Platinum Trophy Unfortunately, Metro: Last Light lacks of everything that made its predecessor a masterpiece, both story-wise and gameplay-wise. It was still fun to play though but overall it felt like an average FPS, and the "forced" stealth parts were really meh. Too bad they couldn't recreate the horror-ish atmosphere of Metro 2033.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#138- Split/Second Completionist Awarded to players who have earned every other trophy. Well, this was a real tough one. No joke. Some of those races, man.. It's like the AI is always faster than you, and winning just comes down to luck. But I managed to win every event... eventually. The beat the devs trophies took some practice, after that(mostly the 2nd, 'cause I read a tip that made the 1st one "easy peasy, nice and breezy" ). When those were done, it was smooth sailing from there. But it was very unique, and a lot of fun. If you want a fun, challenging racer, give this a shot. Huge, huge thank you, to Hemiak for helping, despite getting nothing in return(seriously, man, find something I can help you with to return the favor). And thank you to Pottercito_, as well, for helping me clear this off the backlog and grind out those multiplayer wins. Popular Post ChrizB17
Platinum #83 Ratchet: Deadlocked this was a bitch to Plat! Not only is this game full of bugs but it also freezes up (to the point you have to hard reset your ps3) and on top of that it corrupts your saved file!! I had to start all over!!! And create like 5 backup files, I only needed 3 more trophies and all of a sudden it tells me this and I bullshit you not "DIDNT WERK" like wtf!!?? I was fuckin pissed! But I refused to give up not to mention let this game best me! Sad part is this game was hella fun! But the glitches made it so very stressful I give it a strong 6 out of 10 Edited July 20, 2016 by ChrizB17

Popular Post D-Tron
#111 - Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS-Force FA Project Complete It's apparently the first Gundam game to come west in what seems like forever and it was just okay for me. Granted, I've been told the Extreme Vs Force is a really bad entry for the series. Still, I wanted to see how it would hold up. I wasn't too fond of how some missions were really unfair and then when you used gundam points (GP) to activate buffs they became way too easy. Some of the Haro medals gave me some trouble and by that I mean some wouldn't unlock even when I met the conditions; None of them were very hard. Despite having some fun moments sprinkled throughout however, I would not recommend this at the insane price point of $40. In fact, I'd still say approach with caution if it was $30. To see it launch as a full priced Vita game is insane. The platinum might take you 25 or so hours but most of that is just grinding; it's pretty light on content. In other news I got trigger happy with the screenshot and took it while the animation for the trophy was still playing. This marks the first time I've done this. Popular Post MStalker58
#105 GRID Autosport First off, major thanks to Bxoow_, cHuChO2484, and Sick_Martin for helping with the ridiculous grind. Couldn't have done it without you. Normally I'd share some in-depth thoughts on the game but to be honest, the online grind was so long that I can't even remember much about the main game. From what I recall, it was decent enough if you are into these types of racers. Personally, I prefer more arcadey racers with action, shortcuts, jumps, etc. I know that GRID Autosport isn't a simulation racing game by any means, but it's not true arcade either. Guess you could classify it as simcade since it mixes arcade racing mechanics with realistic tracks and presentation. If you have any interest in going for the platinum, I wouldn't recommend Autosport unless you really love racing games. You'll have to reach Level 250 in the online portion of the game. Even if you boost, it'll take over 100+ hours of grinding. I didn't keep count, but I wouldn't be surprised if the total time for the platinum was anywhere between 150-200 hours. Popular Post Superbuu3
#148 Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls (Vita) Pragmatism's Last RewardEarned every other trophy in the game This fills in some important plot details in the Danganronpa universe so glad I got this and beat it recently as now I can go into the anime fully up to date. This takes place between the 1st and 2nd game, so features spoilers for both. Gameplay is adequate, there are some fun parts but the controls aren't great the although I did like some of the puzzles. The game really is very story focused as you will be treated to more text boxes than gameplay here. If you're a fan of the series I'd highly recommend it, if you're new to the series play the main games first as I don't think this spin off has much to offer to those who haven't played DR before.
Popular Post Xel
#101 STREET FIGHTER V The Never-Ending Path "Sweet! You got all the trophies! You're really somethin'. Isn't that right, Ryu?" "You have done well to reach the end of this one journey. The path to becoming a true fighter still lies ahead, but let us take time to share the joy of your accomplishment." Street Fighter V is the finest fighting game I've played to date. It's core mechanics are fair, really well polished and have maybe one fault in them. New players can easily pick up this and start to understand how to play compared to most fighting games out there. Assessing this after the updates does give this game greater life and incentive to try out every character and realise there isn't a standalone character which can easily beat everyone: the roster is very balanced. Challenge mode can help teach players damaging combos and training mode is very easy to understand as a tool to help develop a player's fighting game skills. The expenditure on an arcade stick is strongly advised to anyone wanting to play at the competitive level but a regular joypad is fine to use. Comparing this to Street Fighter 4, everything is cleaner. There is greater visual input as character animation change whether the attack has hit or is blocked, allowing the player to get instant feedback on what they can do next. One frame combos are no longer a thing, which helps new players to execute top level combos but unfortunately means greater ease for international level players to perform bigger combos more consistently; not really leveling off the playing field. The models themselves look sharper but all the long hair clips through the bodies of character, something that still needs to be addressed.
