Popular Post Undead Wolf
Platinum #125 Tales of Graces f True Grace Acquired all trophies. Amazing! I guess you could say I have a mixed relationship with this game. I didn't think too much of it in my first playthrough. I thought the characters were unlikable (except Pascal of course) and the plot was straight up awful. After finishing the game, I couldn't even drag myself to play the lineage and legacies section that was added in the PS3 version. Well it turns out that was a silly move on my part. L&L fixes a lot of the issues I have with the base game. There's actual character development and it wraps up the plot in a far more satisfactory way then the main game did. It made me actually like some of the characters who I previously couldn't stand, and while I still much prefer the main cast of other Tales games, they aren't bad here. I still cringe at the plot points from the main game, but L&L is good at least. One thing I've always loved about the game however is the combat. It's super in-depth in this game and it's a lot of fun trying to get high combos, pulling off mystic artes, etc. The journey to the platinum is all well and good up until you get to the Inn requests. I cannot stress enough how painful these are. They seemingly go on forever. So to start with you need to buy a weapon that often requires you to be a high level in that shop. Then you combine this weapon with a crystal (more combining items to get one of these). Then you take the weapon you just made and have to combine it with a shard. The thing is though, a lot of these shards have awful drop rates, and your only realistic way of getting them is in the EX dungeon. Unfortunately for you, the enemies in here wreck your face off, so it's hard to play on the higher difficulties reliably. The higher the difficulty you're on, in theory, the better drop rates you get. See where I'm going with this? Many of these shards took hours to drop for me, and like I said, there's no shortage of these requests, so you'll be spending a LONG time in that place. Enough to make a man lose his sanity...

Popular Post realm722
Just started getting into Plating games so seeing 100+ is mind-boggling to me Platinum #4: Tropico 5 Super fun game that only a couple of days ago I really decided to go after. Got a bunch of stuff in Sandbox, friendly user then messaged me for us to boost straight through all of the annoying multiplayer trophies. Finally I played the Campaign and it was a monster. I'm not a wizard, but because I tried to plan too far in advance with Mission #11... I nearly blew up the whole game and had to start from scratch because I crippled my economy building everything up so fast at a time where interest was a factor. After reverting through numerous saves, I somehow managed to survive and get the rest of the mission done. The finale was intense, but achieved. Finally the day after I got the annoying Presidente's Seven trophy and I can safely say it'll be on my shelf for a-while until I get a dictatorship tingle.

Popular Post Redgrave
#73: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven Since I'm a JoJo fanboy, I obviously loved this game. The story and such were basically fan service and I loved every bit of it. That said, mechanics wise it feels very flawed. I haven't played a Ninja Storm game that the combat is based on but doing some of the moves and blocking just felt weird. Characters seem to get invincibility frames quite often and it makes it easy to get countered or knocked back if you're attacking someone and the animation is still playing out. Otherwise as a JoJo's game it's awesome, and if you watch the series or read the manga then I recommend getting it. Though if you don't want spoilers then wait until you finish Part 7 of the manga since the game doesn't hold anything back regarding major plot points and character deaths.
Popular Post GTA_Darren
This month's PS Plus free game. Overall it is not a bad game, but the game is kind glitch. Popular Post Floriiss
#134: OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood Academy Award Obtain all Trophies OlliOlli2 was quite a tricky platinum (Get it? Because in this game you perform tricks.. and.. eh.. I'll let myself out. ). The hardest part of this platinum was getting used to the controlls. Getting to Titan's Sky on my Amateur wasn't a big deal, but from there on the required amount of points got higher, which ment I had to perform switches into my combo's. That was a big deal at first, since I've had done all previous levels without them. So at that point I had practice doing combo's with these switches. Took a while to get used to, but made it much and much easier to get the required amount of points. So after I mastered the tricks and had the knowledge on how to get a high combo I was all set. Both Amateur and Pro playtroughes went really smooth. The challenges weren't too difficult. Most of them were easy, but some challenges provided a bit of a challenge. Especially performing stuns that I had never perform before could be a bit hard. I must admit though, that most challenges were pretty similair, which made it feel like it was more of a grind. After completing all challenges for both Amateur and Pro I've unlocked RAD mode. In RAD mode you have to perform every combo, grind and landing perfectly. Sounds tough? Yes. Was it tough, tho? Not at all. By the time I reached RAD mode I almost did everything perfectly, so doing everything perfect in one level wasn't really hard. Most levels only took me a few tries to complete. Some were a bit harder though, but overall it was pretty damn easy. Fun game tho. #135: Call of Duty: Black Ops III Platinum Awarded when all other trophies have been unlocked. Finally a Call of Duty that requires a bit more than just completing the story mode on Veteran and mopping up misc trophies. Not the best Call of Duty in the series, but definitely some improvement from the last couple games. What I absolutely loved about this game was the Co-op feature. Playing the story with friends made it a lot more enjoyable, and also a lot more easy. Even Realistic mode was pretty easy thanks to Co-op mode, since now you can just revive eachother instead of getting insta-killed and have to start from last checkpoint. That's a huge adventage! The hardest part of this platinum was getting the Personal Decorator trophy. To obtain this gem you have to earn a total of nine medals. These medals where nowhere easy to obtain. Some were grindy, while others were challenging. Getting all weapons, camos and attachments was quite the grind. Luckily, atleast for me, it went by pretty fast. Completing all Acollades for each mission also took quite some time. Most of them were easy, but some were really annoying. Especially when you fail one and after that moment there's a checkpoint. This forces you to start the mission from scratch which takes even more time. Next to that you had to complete different challenges. Luckily I've had completed most of them in the end, so doing the rest didn't take that long. The other challenges were pretty straight-forward. The hardest one was probably not dying on Veteran difficulty. Luckily due to my good Co-op partner that wasn't too much trouble though. The multiplayer was meh... Didn't really like it tbh. Back in the day I used to be really fond of the Multiplayer in COD, but now it was a bit over the top for me. Hopefully in the future it'll get back to the old school. Popular Post KyuubiWarGreymon
#7: Ratchet & Clank Gadget Master Hardest Trophies Skillful Master all 30 skill points. Game Rating: 10/10 | Trophy Difficulty: 5/10 This was my first experience with the Ratchet & Clank series when i played this game and i must say it was very enjoyable, i would say it's close to being as memorable as Sly Cooper series was for me in my childhood. The only trophy that gave me trouble was Skillful really but that still didn't take away from the enjoyment of the game. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a simple and fun game to play.
Popular Post Sunflower
#49 - Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Another entry from Otomate and this is definitely one of the better ones. The story is really interesting with lots of references to Japanese lore and history since the characters are loosely based on their historical counterparts. A friend of mine wanted me to play it for a long time since she enjoyed it a lot (but we both agree that so far Code Realize is the best, Hakuoki second ). The boys were interesting too, though this time there wasn't one particular character or route that really stood out to me. Heisuke and Saito were my favourites overall, especially after completing the extra stories. Glad I got to play Hakuoki and if any other entries in the series come out in the West I'll definitely be picking them up. #50 - Odin Sphere Leifthrasir I'd been putting off getting the platinum for Odin Sphere because I wanted a game I really love for number fifty. Ultimately, It ended up being a toss up between Zero Time Dilemma and Odin Sphere, but since I really couldn't wait to start Zero Time Dilemma and knew I wouldn't be able to put it down once I started, Odin Sphere was the game I decided to go with in the end. I love this game, I really do, it looks gorgeous, the story is pure fantasy, the characters are all interesting and the gameplay is a ton of a fun. I enjoyed every second I spent playing Odin Sphere and will probably go back and play it again in the future.

Popular Post Edunstar84
#26 Color Guardians Legendary Win all trophies in the game! I haven't posted my most recent platinum in a while but wanted to do it for this particular platinum. This an enjoyable (until the last boss, but I'll talk about that later) game. So, Color Guardians is a platforming game where you play as guardians who gobble up colorful orbs to restore color to the world. There are three lanes where the guardians collect these orbs with obstacles and/or enemies you have to coordinate yourself around. The game definitely has replayability because there are stars you can earn on each level. You can also go back to each level to collect Tokis to open up extra levels. The game's easy but challenging, and it's only challenging because of 1 trophy. Not dying on the last boss level! Now, you think "well, with practice it should be easy, right?" Nope you are so wrong and here's why. There are two parts to the boss fight. One where you have color coordinate yourself around obstacles and enemies like on many previous levels. If you die, then you have to start over. Fortunately, this was the easy part. The second part is where you actually go against the boss. In this instance, you have to defeat the boss 3 times, whilst navigating your way along 3 lanes where there are tracks that can speed or slow you down. Since I played on the vita I found the game sped up at certain points, and I ran directly into the bombs the boss threw (oh yes there are bombs). When this happened, I had to start from the very beginning. And this happened occasionally, especially when I go in to hit the boss for the 2nd time. What's worse is that the boss' reactions are randomized. Which meant that if I got a "good" run, and 3 bombs headed my way, then I had to start over from the beginning. If I got a good run, and I myself messed, then I had to start over. Overall, I believe I only had several good runs (4 of which I needed to earn a separate trophy). Anyway, the only reason I was able to defeat the boss was because of a glitch that slowed him down, which helped immensely! Thank you to the person who figured that out!! Other than that, the game's solid and enjoyable. Edited July 22, 2016 by Edunstar84
markcavan
#97 - Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power on PS4 (31st plat of 2016) - 62.56% COMMON I know this game has got a bad rap from hard core gamers but I have to say I really enjoyed playing it. Visually its what you would expect from a trine game and is beautiful. The puzzles are nothing overly complicated and usually only take a few moments/minutes to work out and the collectibles for the most part are in plain sight. If your looking for a low stress, relaxing game to platinum in a few hours then look no further. I also picked it up on sale for €4.59 and was worth every cent. Overall 8/10 enjoyment with a 2/10 for difficultly

Nostalgia or not... played this game before on Gameboy years ago (just... don't ask when exactly) and tbh.. I forgot what this game is about... I think I forgot 99% of what happened in this game (that 1% that I remembered is the game making you fight a boss at the start of the game) so... yeah... it's like I am playing a new game...The missable trophies made me paranoid for hours(or even days) and the grind is really painful in behind but overall.. I had fun playing this game from start to end... now then... can I continue hoping and dreaming for FF I to VI and Mana games remake? Popular Post ShadowStar83x
#19 Apotheon This has been one of the best indies I've played in a while. It was very enjoyable and fun. When I started playing, had a hard time stopping. The graphics are really need and the story is quite interesting. However, it wasn't perfect. Had a lot of issues with crashing (usually when trying to empty a lockbox that had arrows in it), so had to get into the habit of saving every time I found one, which is a bit ridiculous. Also, Athena's level was too damn annoying! Still, those didn't really take away from my enjoyment.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#139- Tomb Raider True Survivor Unlock every Tomb Raider trophy. #140- Tomb Raider:Definitive Edition True Survivor Unlock every Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition trophy. What can I say? When I finished beating the Definitive Edition, I thought, "I beat that real fast.. It wouldn't take much time to clean up the trophies I missed in the original over 2 years ago." And off I went on this possibly insane conquest. The game is simply gorgeous on PS4, and so much better in every way. Maybe it was simply because I was rushing through it on PS3, but the controls and difficulty just seemed easier on PS4. I still love the campaign. So damn good, and I can't wait for the sequel. Now, for the multiplayer... that was a mixed bag. It was rather enjoyable boosting the trophies that needed it. We all had mics, shared a lot of laughs, and had a good time(or I did, at least). Grinding by myself to Level 60 twice, now that was the bad part.. But thankfully, the little lightbulb popped above my head and I decided to binge watch Orange is the New Black Season 4 while doing it. This at least made it tolerable. But if I never had to play Rescue mode in Tomb Raider again, it would still be too soon. ;w; But it feels good to complete something I started over 2 years ago and didn't finish. Until next time, Miss Croft. Definitive Edition Platinum image: Edited July 23, 2016 by DamagingRob
