That is very fun game. I am so glad that decided to go back, and get the platinum! I can't believe that I got all but one of the trophies at the 20 hour mark. So, I had a nice long wait for the platinum. Well, I am going to get the platinum for Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 next.

 

I am going to make Hyperdimension Neptunia PP my 30th platinum.

Wow, kind of hard to believe that I put off playing BioShock for the first time until just 2 months ago - really wish I'd gotten around to it sooner.  It's such an atmospheric and at times creepy setting, which really helps to give the game its own unique feel.  I did a single run on Survivor and found the first few levels tough to begin with, but it quickly got easier once I started levelling up weapons and Plasmids.  The game is far more story-driven than your typical FPS title, which again helps BioShock stand out from the crowd.  The final boss was surprisingly easy to beat once I worked out his attack patterns - I just completely ignored the Splicers in the 3rd stage and just unloaded on Fontaine with the grenade launcher - he went down in no time at all.

 

Maybe one day I'll play the DLC levels, though I haven't bought them so far.

#130 - Everybody's Gone To The Rapture

 

 

 

I had somewhat high expectations for this one, maybe too high as it turns out. The music score is good, albeit at times it feels misplaced. It looks beautiful, but has texture popping in abundance to the point where it gets annoying. The story is alright, but nothing special and gives no real conclusion. You're left to make your own conclusions, which is a concept I dislike. The walking speed is absolutely infuriating, and even the "run" option is a joke. Cleaning up the trophies in this game, is the most boring experience I've ever had in a game.

Platinum #54- Megadimension Neptunia VII

 

Oh god, this entry was so damn amazing! Say what you want about this series, I found the entire experience to be quite enjoyable along the way, with some minor annoyances here and there, but this game is probably one of the best to just sit down to relax with since it's not super serious. Though this entry got me pretty invested, unlike the previous ones, with the exception of Mk2. Everything about this game was great, the characters, new and old, the changes to the various gameplay elements, and the writing is probably the best I've seen out of the series. While I'm done with the main series, I'm not 100% sure I'll venture into the Re;Birth games or the spinoffs, with the exception of Megatagmension. I'm sure there'll be a 5th main entry game soon enough, simply because this is HDN, and they'll find a way to make one, and I look forward to it.

 Platinum #114: Goat Simulator (PS3)

 

Music and the flow of easy to do trophies made the game, quite fun. If it had not trophies, I would probably be bored of the game. If I want to mess around in a game, I rather it be Just Cause or the Saints Row Series.

 

The one true headache for me was Flappingoat. Spent 5-6 hours getting frustrated. Poor Hit Detection and Twitchy Fingers( double jumping after leaving a gate....)

 

Loved the references in the game, especially TMNT. Would not go play the PS4 version just because FGO.....though interested in the new DLC trophies coming for it.

I had to wait for Thursday to get the last trophy (How i miss this kind of trophies) eheheh

White Night is a sort of a monochromatic, noir mystery set in a haunted house where, basically your main goal is just to survive.

The story begins in the 1930s, where main character during his car journey appears to run over a girl standing in the middle of the road.

While injured, he staggers to a nearby mansion and gradually begins to realise that having only just survived a car crash is the least of his problems.

The art style is fantastic, but everything being in black & white somehow affected the visibility of the many collectibles.

And there are a lots of collectibles, they are easily to miss, so you need to pay a good attention while searching them.

The puzzles in this game are intriguing. Thankfully, they are not very hard, but a lot of them are trial and error.

Most annoying parts in this game were the ghosts. You can't really kill them and if they catch you - it's an instant kill.

Only during Chapter 3 i spent half an hour just trying to get past stupid ghosts

Anyway, the game is good, not perfect, has it's flaws, but it's an easy plat at least

After my last, sour, gaming experience (Cars: Race-O-Rama) I more than welcomed this game with open arms.

When I was young(er), I used to play Lemmings quite a bit on my SNES. And I always just ended up self-destructing them, sadistic creature that I am   

101 WTD is just like those Lemmings games, except now you have to stop them from reaching their goal. With any means necessary.

Fiery pits, spikes and spiky logs, bombs, cannons...with a total of (you never guess) 101 ways to kill those poor creatures, I was at home finally   

I don't think I got frustrated even once with this game, it was pure maniacal fun in every level.

Even finding out all of the different ways to slaughter my test subjects didn't feel like a chore. Exploding body parts never get old   

So yeah, I highly recommend 101 Ways To Die to fans (and haters!) of Lemmings. And to those who always tried to shoot the dog in Duck Hunt

#159 Vanquish

 

Vanquish has such fun gameplay, it's great and has that Platinum Games flair with stylish QTEs. Challenge 6 was challenging ( go figure!) but the game has been out for 6 years so there quite a lot of strategies to help complete them, though it was pretty stress inducing when you run out of AR gauge and have to dodge and stay in cover while hoping you don't die from the enemies.

 

Fantastic, great game. I highly recommend it!

Not that bad honestly, I don't think I struggled much at all for the challenge mode trophies and the character specific trophies.

#139. Hitman GO: Definitive Edition

So if I scan the platinum image would I get some kind of discount in a store?

I honestly I first thought this games was going to be a half added mobile game with just the Hitman label slapped on to it. But thankfully I was wrong and it turned out to be a fun spinoff game. It's pretty awesome that they showed love to sone past game by including a level from both Hitman 2 and Blood Money. But no love for Contracts and Absolution . But with that done I'm now 5/5 on Hitman platinums, my assignment is now complete for now...
